Hallie did such an amazing job with our wedding. She worked around our schedule, (being that we don't live in Charleston.) I felt Hallie went out of her way to make my day a little easier. She was very professional! She also made sure she had gotten an extra pictures that I wanted. A couple of my friends got married around the same date I did and they all were VERY impressed with how our pictures turned out. I would recommend Hallie to EVERYONE.

Hallie did a wonderful job off capturing moments of wedding day. they were all beautiful. i cannot decide which ones to display in our home! She captures little details that you want to remember as well as the moments. She also captured the traditonal group shots but we both love the unexpexcted moments that we have to look at and remember our day. wonderful job Hallie.
Hallie-
Thank you so much! The pictures are beautiful and the album was a big surprise. I just picked them up from the post office today and couldn't wait to get home to see them. Can't wait to see the rest and the CD's. You're really terrific!!
Thanks again, Courtney
Dear Hallie,
Just wanted to thank you and tell you how much we enjoyed having you as our photographer. Even other people in the wedding party commented on how easy you were to work with during pictures.
We are so happy with the photos in the album and can't wait to see the remaining photos!
We really love your work and will certainly recommend you to anyone getting married in the area.
Thanks so much, Tiffany and Barry

About Hallie Watson Photography
Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and for considering me for your wedding photography needs.
I have been involved in photography since I was a kid and have always loved it! After graduating from The College of Charleston I was at a loss as to what I was going to do with my life. I decided to persue my passion for photography and started my own business doing pet portraits. Several years later, my best friend Amy, got married. I took my camera along and documented the event from the vantage point of a bridesmaid. Although she had hired a good, local photographer, Amy liked my images so much that almost all of the wedding photographs she enlarged and displayed were the ones I had taken.
From that point on, I have focused (no pun intended) on documenting weddings. It is such fun! I love the excitement and energy of a wedding day. No two weddings are ever alike and you never know what might happen or what amazing photo oppourtunities might present themselves. I strive to capture the small details that aren’t usually standard shots for most photographers as well as candid and formal photographs.
I would say that my strengths lie largely in my people skills. Having worked in the food and beverage industry all through high school and college, I learned how to calmly and politely deal with people under pressure and how to placate and soothe them and find a resolution when they were upset. This skill has come in handy more times that I can count during the stress of a wedding. A tearful bride, an angry relative or moody flowergirl can all be standard on the wedding day. At almost every wedding I shoot, invariably, someone will approach me and comment on my people skills. I really enjoy what I do and I guess that shows in how I work with people.

Thanks again and congratulations!

FAQ for Hallie Watson Photography
Here are some thoughts which might be helpful in your choice of a photographer. As obvious as it may sound, it is important to choose someone you like and feel comfortable with. You will be spending a large portion of your wedding day with this person and things will go more smoothly if you are compatible.
If possible, speak with former clients to see how the photographer handled the stress and chaos of a wedding. Every time I shoot a wedding, so many people remark upon how personable and easy-going I am it leads me to think that there are many pushy, unkind people out there shooting weddings (I am mostly joking about that, but it has made me wonder)! There are too many excellent (and kind) photographers in the world to hire someone who is going to add to the stress of your wedding.
If you feel you can’t afford to hire a professional photographer you might try looking at area universities which have a photography department or program. They will be much more affordable although less experienced. I would recommend going this route rather than having a relative (or friend) do the photography (unless he/she is a professional).
I hope these ideas are helpful in your wedding planning!!
