Hannah was our second photographer for our Santa Barbara, CA wedding in September. She was excellent. We have received our photos back and we are really happy with all of them, but some in particular that I know she took came out beautifully. She has a great eye for detail.In addition to being a great photographer, Hannah is really helpful with styling and making subtle suggestions to ensure the pictures look their best. She is really calm and has a very sweet manner. Hannah helped me ensure my veil was placed correctly, she suggested whether I wear my bolero jacket for certain pictures or take it off and she suggested which pictures I should carry a bouquet or not. I really wanted this help because I wanted her artistic input, but Hannah wasn't a pushy or overbearing person at all so if you have a definite idea of how you want things to look, I got the impression Hannah would definitely not force anything on you. We highly recommend Hannah (or Hannah and Steve Steinhardt together for an extremely powerful combo).
What do you say about Hannah? She is amazing! She sat down with us and figured out exactly what we wanted and strived for nothing less. She is a great listener and handles pressure very well. She makes everything fun and was so easy to work with. Looking back, we can't even imagine what our wedding would have been like without her.
When I was looking around at photographers, I felt like no one’s work pictures compared to Hannah's. I wanted a photojournalistic style – people doing things and looking like themselves, not posing for photos. For me, the images were the most important part of the wedding. I just wanted to make sure there were great pictures of the day to help bring the day back to life! Hannah was a pleasure to work with – taking tons of time with us for all of our shoots as well as choosing our pictures with care and professionalism.
When my husband (then Fiance) first met with Hannah, we knew she would be a good fit. She exuded confidence about her craft and offered her knowledge to help us make the decisions necessary to make the most of our photographs (time, locations, etc) The day of teh wedding, Hannah worked quickly, professionally, and curteously. Everyone involved in the wedding was impressed by her. Shortly after the wedding, she posted some of her favorite images on her blog fo us to share with friends and family. It was a wonderful suprise. I would recommend Hannah to anyone looking to a quality wedding photographer. She is a true artist!
