Hans Fahden Vineyards

My wedding at Hans Fahden was amazing. It was everything I had hoped for and more. We had Kit as our coordinator and she was great on the day of the wedding, she ensured everything went off without a hitch and stayed busy behind the scenes. Our guests are still raving about the cave dinner and the relaxed yet classy environment.

Hans Fahden winery was a spectacular place to get married! From the sweeping Monet-esque gardens, to the tea house, to the unbelievable wine caves, it was a beautiful venue! The only thing that I think they could improve upon is the presentation of the great room (where the dancing takes place). Other than that, it was perfect! The guests couldn't believe how beautiful the wine cave was! It was a great venue, at a great cost.

Hans Fahden is an incredible ceremony and reception venue - we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it (it was actually the first site that we looked at). The grounds, ceremony site, and tea house are all so beautiful, and the wine cave is just too cool. Everything naturally looks lovely, but it's absolutely gorgeous when set up for a wedding. Guests literally gasped when we opened the cave doors for dinner, and so many people told us that this was one of the most amazing wedding locations that they had ever been to.Not only is the site itself wonderful, but so was everyone that we worked with at Hans Fahden. Antone, the owner, is so nice and welcoming; everytime we came to visit the site, he talked to us, gave us a glass of wine, and let us spend as much time wandering around as we liked. He also steered us in the direction of some great vendors, including Park Ave. Catering and Rev. Peadar Dalton.Andi was our day-of-coordinator (included in site fee, selected by Hans Fahden), and she did a fabulous job. She made sure that everything ran smoothly; there were no glitches at all, and it was so nice to have someone else take care of all the details on our wedding day (we did not get a wedding planner). We have absolutely no complaints, and are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at Hans Fahden!

I've delivered cakes twice to this site, and love it! The setting is just amazing and your guest's jaw will drop when they open the dining room doors!

Everyone knows that any good wedding includes a change of scenery. At this venue your guests enter through a garden for the outdoor ceremony, then move to a tea house where hors d'oeuvres and drinks can be served, then to the grand room for introductions and maybe a speech, then into the cave for dinner. Absolutely entertaining, beautiful and intriguing to all. The site provides a day of coordinator but your caterer and dj together will likely do most of the work, very little flowers or decorations are needed due to the beautiful site and their vendor list is fabulous. You will have to book each vendor individually though most work at this site quite often and know eachother well enough to make reccomendations.

We had an awesome Wedding at Hans Fahden this past weekend. They were professional and and attentive to our needs even up to making sure I recieved the Bride and Groom care package meal. The venue was beautiful and Antone and Joy very accomodating. Antone keeps the grounds impeccable and we had nothing but ooh's and aah's when we opened the cave doors. We were skeptical about having a list of preferred vendors, but after having our wedding it was obvious that each of our selected vendors knew the venue and the timelines so well our event went off without a hitch. Our Event Coordinator Andi kept things moving smoothly behind the scenes.

Without question a great wedding, a great time, and great memories were had by all at Hans Fahden.

As soon as we stepped onto the vineyard, we knew that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding at. And we really did have the wedding of our dreams at Hans Fahden. The wedding coordinator that came with the venue was amazing and it made it easy not to worry about anything on our day! Our friends and family are still talking about the cave and the beautiful monetesk gardens. Highly recommend Hans Fahden!

The grounds are gorgeous. It was the perfect setting for our wedding. Also perfect were the covered Tea House for cocktails, the Wine Cave for dinner, and the Ballroom for the reception. Mr. Fahden was charming. The Cabernet is wonderful. The only negatives stemmed from the inconsistencies with the assigned Coordinator. Ours was cold and rude to our guests. She was not in the least helpful, and I resented being forced to pay her. Also, a few things we requested were simply not done (requested wine barrels at the ceremony--but they were not there; requested no fake gladiolas at the cave entrance, yet there they are in all of our photos.) In the end, I never felt like they gave a crap about us at all. Follow up would have been nice. They don't really seem to care what everyone thinks about the way they run the business. "My way or the highway" kind of mentality. I think they would do well to solicit customer feedback to make improvements and become more professional. Overall, I loved it because it fit what we were looking for perfectly. It may not be right for everyone, but it was perfect for us, despite the service.

I had a great experience with Hans Fahden. They were very friendly, and I had no problem getting in touch with them to ask questions. They provide a DOC who is very helpful in pulling all the wedding details together. It's a beautiful location with a wine cave, pond, teahouse, & great room.

Wonderfully Beautiful place to get married! Even though it was raining, the winery had a cave that was just perfect! The surrounding flowers, lakes, bushes, and trees were beautiful even in the rain - the pictures turned out great! We just had a very small ceremony, but had the whole place to ourselves and the staff made us feel like we were the first and only ones to ever get married there! A+++++++

If this weren’t such a beautiful site I wouldn’t recommend it. I had all of these great ideas (fire-twirler, sod aisle runner) for my wedding that really shook them up. Not to the mention lazy customer service--especially for the price you pay for the place. And a phone call from the owner concerned about my reference to “a punk theme”

Hans Fahden is one of our favorite places to work. The garden and covered bridge are so beautiful and romantic, a perfect background for some amazing wedding pictures. The site coordinators are organized and friendly and always make sure they communicate the cues clearly to the musicians. The Eloquence String Quartet highly recommends this beautiful venue.
