Harleysville Bridal & Tuxedo Shoppe

I found my wedding dress at Harleysville Bridal - a Maggie Sottero gown/Jovi style. It was the third dress I tried on there (but one of about 50 I had tried on total including all other shops). This shop had a nice selection of dresses with sophisticated style and detail.

The bridal team of associates are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They give you personal attention, and when I wanted to come back to re-try on the dress to make sure it was the right one (not once, but twice), they were happy to accommodate me in setting up appointments. I was able to purchase my dress during a Maggie Sottero trunk show at the shop so there was a discount, which was nice. Scheduling fittings was easy, there was consistency with staff that I worked with and they listened when I asked for beading on my dress to be sewn on more tightly. My size 6 dress fit almost perfectly and I only needed the hem of the dress to be taken up like 1/2 inch to work with my heels. Alterations for the hem were a little bit pricey.

I also purchased a beautiful elbow-length veil off the rack, had them sew in bra cups to the dress (yeh, so much better than wearing a strapless bra on my wedding day!) and ordered from them a trumpet-skirt slip, which helped shape the bottom of the gown. The slip was a welcomed addition and suggested by the bridal team there. It helped "make" the dress.

Guests and my photographer, too, commented on how lovely the dress was on me...I felt like a celebrity!!! The dress fit me perfectly. The associates even showed my mom how to lace up the back of my dress so she knew for the day of the wedding. I was so happy to find a dress and shop that I enjoyed working with for almost an entire year. I think I found my dress in November and got married the following year in the fall. This shop really knows how to make you feel welcome and provide warm customer...

The entire Harleysville Bridal Team was so great to work with! From my first visit there they were accomodating, friendly, and patient. Everyone in the shop wants to make sure that you feel beautiful in your dress. I could not imagine working with anyone else during this process. I would definitely recommend Harleysville Bridal for wedding gown shopping!

My daughter bought her wedding gown at Harleysville Bridal. Everyone there was friendly, professional and made sure the dress was perfect. You could tell they wanted the bride to be happy and look her best. She bought the first dress she tried on there after trying on a couple dozen more at different shops. Her bridesmaids got their dresses from their other stop in Skippack, Page Six. Everything was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend Harleysville Bridal and Page Six.
We have rented tuxedos from them in the past and were pleased with that service, also. We unfortunately couldn't use them for the tuxedos for the wedding because the groomsmen live in different areas and it was easier to use a chain.

I absolutely loved my wedding dress (Maggie Sottero - Clarissa). The fit was perfect and the accessories were gorgeous. But what was so great about Harleysville Bridal was the service. I had picked out a dress early on in my search that I thought was the one. After a couple of weeks passed and nightmares ensued, I realized that it wasn't the dress of my dreams. My mom and I went back to the store and tried every dress on until we found the one. Harleysville Bridal was able to cancel the order for my first dress and apply the deposit to the new dress. They didn't make me feel crazy or like a bridezilla but were incredibly supportive. They truly wanted me to be happy with my purchase and to love my dress - and I did. I can't thank them enough for how wonderful they were.

The staff at Harleysville Bridal was awesome to work with. They helped me find the Nicole Miller dress I fell in love with for my fall wedding at the Joseph Ambler Inn in North Wales, PA. They were so friendly, accommodating, and responsive to what I wanted. It was a pleasure working with them to find my wedding dress!

I had such a great experience here! I didn't fit their model dresses because I'm a bit of a bigger girl, but they didn't treat me any different! They actually had opened up a seam in a dress to help me get more of a visual! Such great professionalism! They really knew their stuff about sewing and such which definitely helped me be confident buying from them!

I highly recommend Harleysville Bridal. Colleen and staff are super nice! They provide alterations and they have veils, jewelry, spanx and shoes too. Very convenient for a busy bride. If you're on a budget, check out their sample sales.

Wonderful shop with a great team of people working there! They had "the dress" that pulled out of like 12 magazines that I just had to try on. While it wasn't "the one" they were incredibly helpful, nice and friendly. The shop is clean and tidy with a lot of space to bring people with you. They have a great selection of dresses and accessories.

I tried on 85 dresses before I found the one - and I found it here! They have such an incredible selection of dresses, and they were dresses no one else had. I didn't even see my dress in a magazine! And then, the alterations staff was the icing on the cake - they were fantastic! I completely re-modeled the dress - took out the lace up corset and put in a zipper with buttons, added straps, wanted a veil with the lace to match the dress - and they did it all! There was a scary moment with the veil, there was a small mix-up in the order, but they not only made it right, they did it quickly and never once argued with us. The staff was great, friendly, professional, and it was such a nice change from the other dress stores we'd been to. I've sent plenty of people here who are looking for dresses, and will continue to do so!

I bought my wedding dress from Harleysville Bridal and was very pleased. They came down on price when I made them aware that I found the dress elsewhere for cheaper. I ended up not needing any alterations due to the help they give me in the specific size I should get!

Excellent service! The selection of couture (and otherwise) gowns is amazing for such a small shop, and you get the attention you need as a bride. The employees are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and have a wonderful sense of humor, and what looks good. They cater to your every need and can adjust dresses in-house to make sure your dress is your dream. The amazing staff and personal attention really make this place a diamond in the rough! We also ordered our tuxes from here and it was convenient, decent prices and better quality then any of those national chains that are so popular.

Everyone at Harleysville Bridal were wonderful to work with on my wedding dress. I fell in love with the third dress I tried on there but they told me to keep looking and make sure. Of course I came back and got THAT dress. They did a great job doing my alterations. Thanks!

Harleysville Bridal was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door the first time. We were treated very well, my dress was beautiful (Maggie Sottero) and, in my opinion, it looked like it cost WAY more than it did. The seamstress was wonderful and my dress fit like a glove when all was said and done. They were on time with every fitting, and they were full of well wishes when I picked up my dress. I really enjoyed my experience with Harleysville Bridal. I used their sister store, Page Six...It's Haute for my bridesmaid's dresses as well and the experience was the same. All orders came in on time and were as expected!

Almost every bridal shop I went into had the same tired old white strapless gowns... but not Harleysville Bridal. They had a beautiful selection of exceptional gowns. This was the first store where I actually wanted to try on almost every gown they had. I loved the dress I picked and no one else I know had ever seen it before because it was a very exclusive designer that only Harleysville Bridal carries. The staff are kind and lovely and helpful at all times, even when I needed to change my appointments several times. My only issues were that my dress came in way too big (they assured me it was the designer's fault because they sent my exact measurements) and that when it was tailored to my size they wouldn't make it as tight as I requested. Overall, a great experience at Harleysville Bridal!

I got pregnant during the course of preparing for the wedding. My dress was a corset, which is completely not a maternity dress. They worked with me and after several fittings, I was still able to wear the dress of my dreams. They have a decent selection. Although the dresses can be a bit pricy (nothing under 1500 or so), it iw well worth it. You wouldn't want your dress to fall apart come the big day.

I purchased my dress here and it was fantastic. It was a discontinued style and I got it 75% off! I had it altered elsewhere, so I don't know the cost on that, but the selection of dresses was wonderful, especially considering I wasn't looking for something traditional. We also rented my husband and the groomsmen's tuxedos here. They worked with us to find the perfect 'look', matched vests to the fabric for the bridesmaids' dresses, and used all of our suggestions. My husband's tux was free, but we wanted to keep the prices affordable and they offered us every way we could lower the prices of the tuxedos for the groomsmen. We actually got compliments on how cheap the tuxedos were for the groomsmen! We were very pleased.

Apparel- This place has the most beautiful wedding dresses and a nice selection. There are not a ton of dresses so it is not overwhelming when you go in there. They have a few designers that are not carried anywhere else in the area so it is nice knowing you are not getting the same cookie cutter dress as everyone else.

Staff- The staff was helpful and great to work with. I do want to point out one thing. I went to get my dress 6 months before my wedding, and the stagg told me I was cutting it close to et my dress in time. I never realized that you needed to order your wedding dress at least 6 months prior to the event. I can't understand how it can take so long to get a dress made but then again I am not in the wedding dress industry.

Affordability-The prices were alittle high especially when you took into consideration the dress, alterations, jewely and veil.

I had to buy off the rack due to time constraints and I was very impressed with the selection of dresses. The employees were there to help me, but didn't get in the way. I had them hold a dress for me and then went back two days later to try it on again and they had no problem with that. The dress was perfect. The alterations were done professionally and I had 3 fittings. The seamstress was very accommodating at last minute changes. Everyone was very flexible and helpful. My dress couldn't be discounted because it was a special style, but they offered 10% off on some of the other dresses I tried on. I highly recommend going to see what they have.

Their attention to detail and eagerness to work with you to find your perfect dress was unmatched. Their selection of dresses was current with the styles you see in the magazines.

After searching many bridal salons and experiencing a myriad of attitudes, Harleysville Bridal was like a breath of fresh air. The friendly warm atmosphere from the moment we walked in the door made it fun to be trying on gowns and a pleasure to be doing business with this salon. The selection is enormous and the one on one attention is terrific. We liked it so much that the all the guys went directly there for all of the tuxes, as well, rather than going to any of the big chains that treat you like another number. We were never rushed and it was always a great experience to be there. The fact that they own Page Six for the bridesmaids dresses is a real plus as well as far as co-ordinating styles. The styles were varied and the prices were perfect!

They were the nicest people. The dress was amazing and I felt like a princess. I wish I could were my dress every day, I got a Maggie Sotterro and the dress fit like a gem. My little cousin told me I looked like Cinderella! :)

After visiting another bridal salon, I (sadly) was not all that excited about going dress shopping. But the staff at Harleysville quickly changed my outlook - I felt like an absolute princess trying on all of the dresses!! My Mom and Aunt sat on a lovely antique couch, and I played dress up all day - what could be better! From start to finish, everyone at Harleysville was wonderful! Thanks Colleen!!!

The ladies at H-ville are the best! They treated me like a princess and were so patient with me. I felt like they were truly excited for me. They had great suggestions which solved my worries about my bustle. I felt like a princess in my dress and I got more compliments than I can count. Highly recommended!

The only thing I actually liked about the bridal place is my dress!
When we first went there, they were kind, helpful etc. I loved the dress, picked it out, and didn't think another thing about it. I went back for my bridesmaids, and this was the first time I thought there might be a problem.
No attention was given to us what-so-ever. And then when we wanted to leave, they were so shocked about us not wanting to get dresses there.
This treatment worsened. We were expected to buy everything there and just keep forking more and more money over for alterations. Every time we walked in the door they added another two hundred dollars to our bill.
They were rude, a little snotty and overpriced.
Do not get your dress from here, even if you love it!

Harleysville Bridal altered my dress PERFECTLY. It has so much beadwork I was nervous, but they were fantastic - and it was done exactly when they said it would be!

Harleysville Bridal has a books of invitations. They let me take one home and comb through it. I chose a fold-up invitation with a post-card tear-off reply by Breeze. Harleysville Bridal gave 10% off for ordering the invitations through them. The processing of the invitations was quick and accurate.

The ladies here are wonderful! They really know their stuff!

i absolutely loved this place, i got not only my dress here, but my bridesmaids dresses and grooms tux and all the other tuxes as well. Everytime i walked in, i was greeted with people who really took the time to get to know me and also were willing to go thru about 15 or 16 dresses with me to find one i fell in love with. my bridesmaids dresses were beautiful, the tuxes were easy to deal with and i felt that the people who work there actually knew me, they remembered my name, the name of my groom and most of the wedding party!
