Harvard Photography was so wonderful to work with. The staff at Harvard (Jina, John and Debora-- they have others but these are the ones I worked with directly), were always available and on hand to answer any questions. They were very polite, professional and easy to work with. They allow you to switch out things from your package and like others have said, provide you with every single picture that is taken. For our e-session, Jose took the pictures at the beach. He was easy to work with and took great pictures. For our wedding, we had Lawrence and James (the assistant.) They captured every single thing that took place at the wedding and were constantly taking pictures.. They took many great pictures which makes it hard to choose for the album.

Harvard Photography is so organized and gives you detailed information about how to schedule the photo sessions for the day of the wedding as well as how to pick pictures for the album. They are AWESOME and I can't wait to see our album.

We love our photographs from Harvard. Our photo album is everything we wanted and more. The quality of the book itself is stunning. We also had an engagement session with Harvard which we were very happy with the results. The staff were always friendly and accommodating with all of our requests. Photography was at the top of our priority list while planning and I am very happy we found Harvard.

My FI and have planned on spending a large portion of our budget on photography since we'll pretty much have it forever! Well, after months of searcing, we finally found them! THeir work is incredible and I think we will be very happy with the quality at the end!

I love, love, loved Harvard Photography! They were VERY professional, VERY friendly, always on time, VERY responsive to emails/phone calls and questions, and dressed appropriately for our wedding. They really worked with our budget and I was MORE than happy with our pictures...they looked wonderful. Harvard caught every key moment and had great ideas for each posed shot. Our album looks AMAZING!!! I've showed it to MANY people and multiple people have said that it is the most beautiful album that they've ever seen. I know they were telling the truth because when I saw it, I was lost for words. My friend also used Harvard for her wedding and her photos were just as beautiful. I would definitely recommend Harvard for any event...beautiful work, reasonable pricing and excellent friendly staff. 5 stars for sure!

The wedding photos were a top priority for us when we were choosing vendors. We had heard excellent things about Harvard Photography from a reception site, and then we met Jina from HP at a bridal show. Jina and Debora were so easy to work with, and they offered packages for every price range. Our photographer, Shauna, was wonderful and did an excellent job in taking the shots we had discussed with her prior to the wedding. We love all our pictures and our album! Our parents love their coffee table books as well. We would happily recommend HP to anyone!

My Husband and I are very greatly to have worked with Harvard Photography to photograph our wedding! We were referred to Harvard by The Hacienda in Santa Ana. We met a rep from Harvard at The Hacienda open house. While browsing thru their many albums they had on display, their work was truly amazing and captured ever precise moment. Right away my Husband and I knew their teams of photographers are very talented.
On the day of the wedding, our photographers were Sam and John. Right away the dynamic duo got to work doing what they do best. We got the photos back a month from the wedding, and they are spectacular. It was difficult to pick which shots to use in our album, which is not a bad problem to have. All our family and friends have said that they are the best wedding photos that they have seen. You only get your special day once, and Sam and John photos captured ours beautifully, so that we'll be able to remember it forever.
Thank you to Harvard’s staff for an amazing job. You really did a fantastic job of documenting the event and capturing the emotions of our day.

Jina was wonderful and nice! Sam, our photographer is the best out there! He took the best pictures and has a great personality. They are also great value for the price. They have excellent packages that include many albums, photos, and all digital negatives. I am so happy with choosing Harvard Photography!! They exceeded what I had imagined them to be!

Harvard Photography is a very reliable professional company. My husband and I were beyond impressed at how amazing our wedding photos came out. From the engagement session, to our wedding pictures and album, they captured every detail!!! The office staff was very polite and organized. Anytime I emailed them for any questions, they responded the same day. The photographers were fun and we felt very relaxed having them capture every precious moment. We just picked up our wedding album and it took our breath away. Even relatives got teary eyed at the fantastic and amazingly creative work that Harvard did. The quality and color of the photos are just perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable and you cannot beat receiving all your proofs with no extra cost. Harvard Photography was a wonderful company to work with. Their packages are reasonable and you can add or take out certain things to personalize it. They were very easy to work with and communicate with. The photographers were very friendly and were able to make myself and my wedding party feel very comfortable. I am not very photogenic but they caught many wonderful moments. I got a cd with all my pictures and I was able to really taylor my album to my own tastes. They are very reliable and I would recommend them to anyone. In fact my sister plans on using them as well.

I was impressed! my photographers were the best, very professional and caught every part of my wedding that i didn't but they didn't get in the way. They did a lot of candid shots witch I loved. Once I got my pictures I cried they were so beautiful they put it on a slide show for me with music they took over 1,000 pictures, and the price I paid I thought I owed them more money. Anyone planning their wedding I would highly recommend them very professional and great prices and everyone I came across at Harvard was exceptionally nice and helpful.

Working with Harvard Photography was very pleasant. I communicated with them exclusively via e-mail and they were always quick to respond to my questions. I was referred to Harvard by my aunt who used them at her wedding. Her pictures were beautiful. We contacted and met with them and I immediately booked them. My e-session took place at the beach and we had so much fun and the pictures looked great. On our wedding day our photographers captured every aspect of our wedding. We had a large bridal party and they were able to work with and incorporate everyone without a problem. On our wedding day our photographers took close to 2000 pictures!

The thing I loved most about our package was that we were able to keep all of the digital negatives. This way we were able to print out the pictures we wanted to give to family members without the additional cost of purchasing the prints. Overall we had a great experience with Harvard Photography and we would recommend them.

Photography was high on my list of priorities and I wanted more of a photojournalistic style. We had 2 photographers and they took many many candid shots as well as some posed ones. The photographers were both great to work with from the beginning, they weren't intrusive. We were incredibly happy with the pictures so I can't wait to see the finished book. The people at Harvard are all great to work with, they never tried to push anything on us. Everything they promised, they have delivered so far and in such a pleasant way. I will update my review once that is in.

UPDATE:
We just got back our wedding album and they are amazing!!! We got our big one and 2 smaller parent replicas, all which came with our package. I cannot rave enough about Harvard. Working with them has been great, they are extremely nice and very professional. Everything they promised us they delivered and in good time too and we are extremely happy with their work.

We loved our experience with Harvard Photography. The pictures are beautiful and they took every shot we requested! We couldn't have made a better decision hiring Harvard Photography. Our photographer and florist were the two most important vendors, and they both did not disappoint.
When interviewing photographers, we were looking for photographers who had a photo journalistic style with a traditional twist. Harvard fit that description perfectly and the whole staff has been so easy to deal with. And their prices are reasonable as well.

My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff and photographers at Harvard Photography! From our initial meeting with John to coordinating with our photographers for the engagement shoot and wedding day, they were all very easy to work with, responsive to our needs, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. For the high quality and professionalism, Harvard Photography's differently priced packages are pretty reasonable. I enthusiastically recommend Harvard to all of my family and friends!!

Harvard was the best choice we made!!! We had two photographers that took breath taking shots. They did an amazing job and did exactly what we wanted. We have all the pictures of family and friends that we wanted and more. We got a total of 2205 pictures taken....more than we could have ever expected!!!! We are so pleased with Harvard and would definitely recommend them to any couple that wants to have quality pictures taken by the best professionals!!!!

Harvard Photography was recommended to us by our venue and we are so happy we chose them as our photographer! From the beginning they lead us through the process and were able to work out the items that we wanted within our budget (parent albums for all of the parents). It was difficult to choose the pictures that were going in our album because we had so many great shots to choose from, but the albums came out excellent and we are very appreciative. Our photographers had exellent personalities and were able to work to get the shots we requested. They were professional, flexible, and easy to talk to whenever we had a question. We would definintely recommend Harvard Photography!

Great pictures and we got about 3000. Now its just choosing the rights ones for the album. Our photographer was great at getting those candid shots as well as the ones we wanted. Very happy with the quality and production.

Lawrance was awesome! We were concerned about getting a photographer just because we have been to other weddings where the photographers were creepy looking or just took horrible pictures but Lawrance was great. Our wedding party felt comfortable with him and he was on top of everything. Could not have asked for a better photographer. My only thing is if you do go to Harvard ask to speak to your photographer first before booking.

WOW!We just got back our photos from our September 3rd wedding and they are excellent! Our photographer captured the evening, and we are so glad we made them our choice! Great value, we got engagement and wedding photos that we get to enjoy forever! Thank you Harvard Photography!

Harvard is as professional as they come. From the moment we walked in to their studio, to our engagement photo session, to our wedding day. My wife and I can't stop looking at our pictures because they are so awesome! Do yourself a favor and just book them, you wont be sorry. They are worth every penny.

We were very impressed with the level of quality of both our wedding and engagement pictures. The photographers were very professional, but very friendly. The photographer that we had for our engagement session was very funny and sweet and it helped us to relax while we were taking pictures and having people look at us funny (we went to downtown Pasadena)! We were very sad to hear that he had been booked for a different wedding the day of our wedding, but with as good as he was we were not surprised. All of the sadness went away when we met with the photographer who was doing our wedding. He was amazing and had so many ideas we couldn't wait! He was so nice and patient, he was an absolute pleasure to work with! I got compliments all night (and even still) about how nice the photographers were. They were everywhere we were that night and they got a lot of amazing shots! We are so happy that we went with Harvard and we wouldn't have changed a thing! They provided us with beautiful eternal memories and we are forever grateful!

I met Harvard Photography at the Bridal Show and booked an appointment with them one week later. They have their own studio for you to visit and also have different packages at reasonable price to fit your budget. After the meeting, we decided to book them for our wedding. Jose was our lead photographer. He was GREAT, high energetic, fun and very easy to work with. I just received the wedding pictures and Wowww…It's AMAZING. I could not believe how beautiful the picture turned out. It’s worth the money and I was very impressed with their quality and service.

John B. was our photographer for our wedding on August 1, 2010. He did a fantastic job with our photos! He took about 1,000 photos in 5 hours. There are so many beautiful photos that we both love that it is hard to choose only a few to frame! We had added a lot of personal touches and details to our wedding day and he was able to catch everything. He also did not miss any of the important and touching moments at our wedding ceremony and reception. We were very happy to note that he captured everything we wanted and more in such high quality and quantity. Our wedding photographer was the most important vendor to me. I had very high expectations. John B. did not disappoint me at all. We would both highly recommend him and Harvard Photography! We will forever cherish our wedding photos!

I absolutely LOVE Harvard Photography! My husband and I had such a wonderful experience! We worked with James, who is an amazing photographer! He made us feel so comfortable! I dealt directly with Debora from the studio on all other matters; she was very helpful. She was very responsive, which I really appreciated!

Harvard Photography was a joy to work with. Their customer service is beyond amazing. Debora and John are very responsiveness and super friendly. They were always available to answer the million questions we had. They are very flexible when it comes to choosing your package. They can construct a special package to suit your special needs. All their photographers were very professional and friendly. They controlled our 800 person wedding wonderfully. With a wedding this big, you are not able pay attention to all the details and hard work your decorator has put into in décor. Harvard captured every detail possible that I never noticed. My husband and I were married in February 2010. We loved our photographer, Jason. At first I was a little nervous because he was so young, but he did an amazing job on our engagement photos and our wedding photos!! We could not be more please and we would highly reccomend Harvard!

I actually booked them from out of the country and they were always super nice via email and over the phone. I had a million questions and the girls were always willing to help me out and answer all of my annoying questions. Nicest and most professional group I have ever worked with!

I searched tons of photographers, but Harvard just felt right. They have their own studio that you can visit, so they do everything in house. no outsourcing, so they control the quality of every step. our wedding photographer was great.

We used Harvard for our engagement photos and our wedding photos. They are located FAR away from us, but we fell in love with they're work and so the drive there was worth it! The staff is great, especially Debra, she is the sweetest. Our wedding ran late (my fault!) and my hubby and i need to re-shoot our romantic wedding pics and Harvard Photography is doing it for us basically at no cost!!! They are wonderful!

We booked Harvard Photography for our wedding and the photos came out excellent. Jose Z was our photographer. The price was very competitive with other photographers of the same quality. They seem to be very professional and organized. Overall we were very satisfied with the quality of the photos and service.

They are magnificient. Almost everyone that I know who has gotten married has used Harvard. They're pictures are just breathtaking. When we received our engagement pictures, we thought they were beautiful, but when we received one of the enlargements of our engagement pictures and it was retouched, I could not believe how beautiful the picture came out. We recently received our wedding pictures on DVD and they are beautiful. Our photographer was Jose and he is really good at what he does. When he poses you for pictures, he does not make you feel uncomfortable at all. He has all kinds of great ideas which makes the pictures look really good. I highly recommend Harvard.

I am very happy with the pictures that HArvard took for us. The only thing I could say that I should have paid more attention to is to have in mind who I want family pics with etc. This was NOT Harvards fault. They sent a list of pics to take etc but as a bride you might want to make a mental note or list of your own and hand it to your planner or relative of people to have around for the fam pics because I missed a few people that I really wanted. Anywho- HArvard was great, super responsive. We had to change our venue and date and they adapted and made it happen. They are super professional and I love all our pics. I have not gotten the book yet and I am working on getting them those pics ASAP so they can send it to me. The only thing that kinda sucks is that it doesn seem to take quite a while to get the albums back once you submit the pictures. I am going through the arduous process of sifting through thousands of great pics to pick for the book. I am a lil worried about the process of putting the book together, I hope they help with this part because once I choose the pictures I would like their artistic expertise to come into play to configure them as they see fit. I'll update when I get it but so far I LOVE HArvard :)

Harvard is amazing. We had Jose as our photographer. He was very enthusiastic and had really good ideas. Our engagement pictures came out so amazing and I can't wait to see our wedding pictures. I know they will be great. I found the best way to communicate with Harvard is through email. I always got a prompt response. Harvard is well worth the money. The quality and style of their photography is so unique and timeless. We are very pleased!

Our photographer, Jason, was absolutely amazing. My husband and I are not type of people who are used to taking pictures so having someone following us around is definitely different for us. As soon as we met Jason, he made us feel very comfortable. He has a great personality and is just so good at what he does. He even came to check in with us before he left to make sure he took all the photos we asked for. I can't express how lucky I feel to have booked him for our wedding day. Also, the staff at Harvard was very responsive and helpful. They answered all our questions in a timely manner. I totally fell in love with Harvard after seeing their sample photos. I just love creative and artsy photos.

We were referred to Harvard from our reception site and we also saw them at the bridal shows. The girls at the bridal shows were very nice and helpful and set up a consultation for us at the studio. At first we were kind of hesitant because Harvard is basically a company that assigns photographers, but during our consultation we found out that we can look at photos from the photographers they had available and even meet with the photographer before we decide to book them. We chose Lawrence as our photographer for both the engagement session and the wedding. We haven’t seen the wedding photos yet because its still early (4-5 weeks), but we absolutely loved our engagement session photos. We posted all of them up on a mini slideshow next to our guest check-in at our reception site. Lawrence had really great ideas for the wedding photos and he was really good with the kids and the rest of the family, so we can’t wait to see them! =)

My whole experience with Harvard has been awesome. Everyone there is very professional and accommodating, and they are very responsive to my emails/calls. What I like as well about Harvard is they request you to fill out a list of the important moments you want the photographers capture. That way you don't miss any important moment. The photographer that we had was great! He actually arrived 10 minutes early because he realized that my dress is a laced-up kind and he wanted to make sure he have enough time to get all the get-ready shots. He was so nice to work with, and they make you very relax and comfortable around him. We took tons of fun shots, and I can't wait to see the results. Oh! The only negative thing I can think of is the turn around time is too long. It takes 4-5 weeks for them to process the pictures to show us the proofs! I can't wait, though! I'm sure it will be awesome and worth the wait. We had the same photographer when we shot our engagement shoot, and the pictures turned out amazing!Anyway, out of all the photographers that we 'explored', Harvard offered the best quality and value for the money. Highly recommended :)

We met Harvard Photography at a Bridal Show and booked an appointment with them for a month or so later. I went into the appointment not thinking we’d book them, but it’d be worth just checking out. After our meeting with them (viewing photos and looking through their packages and talking about what vision we wanted for our wedding), we knew we wanted to book them for our wedding! Their packages include everything, but they’re flexible if you want to switch things out. They are very accommodating and respond quickly to emails and/or phone calls. A huge plus for them is that they give you a CD with all your photos (engagement and wedding) after your wedding. We were especially excited because they give you total creative freedom when creating your wedding photo book. Harvard also posts the wedding pictures online (not the engagement photos); however they post EVERY single picture. We were a little disappointed that even photos with funny faces or eyes shut were posted online, but I didn’t want to root through all 2500 of them to pick out those I wanted deleted (although, I’m sure they would have if I asked them). They have a number of photographers, but we booked Jose for the engagement photos since we were having a beach wedding and he was amazing! He even got into the water with us to capture the perfect photo. He was easy to work with and very energetic – we knew we could trust him to capture our wedding day perfectly. We were right, Jose (along with Jen, as a second photographer) captured our day perfectly. Our guests kept commenting on how many great photos he got and how he snapped pictures the ENTIRE evening. We were given our CD about 6 weeks after our wedding and it did include EVERY photo that was taken (even those with eyes shut). We have not received our book yet, but we did get a framed engagement picture and our wedding DVD slideshow. Both came out really good. I would definitely recommend them. Their services are great; they’re reliable and willing to work with you!

We loved Harvard.. Our engagement sign in book was amazing. Our guests loved the pictures. And they really got the dramatic look we were going for. Can't wait to get our wedding photos back!

John N was our photographer, and he was amazing! Everyone raved about him and our photos. He was very mellow & unobtrusive the day of the wedding, but provided great direction at the same time. I enjoyed working with Harvard Photography throughout and we were extremely pleased with the product. A++We also ordered an album and that take a few months. I advise you to be aware of the delay in getting your album.

Our photographer did great work and caught every moment that he knew was important to us. He made us feel comfortable and really worked with us on the style we were going for.

I was so happy with my photographer on the day of the wedding. Taiga wss the lead guy and was so amazing. Since I am not very comfortable in front of the camera, he did such a great job at putting me at ease and telling me exactly how to pose, smile, etc. He was EVERY where on the day of the wedding too. I know he did a phenomenal job at capturing every aspect of the big day. He got some beautiful shots of my husband and me after the ceremony as well. He is so easy going but was still able to get our crazy wedding party to listen and take fun shots. I can't wait to see our album when it comes in. I would recommend Harvard Photography to anyone!

Great service from a professional company at an affordable rate! We had photographer John N. who was very nice and took beautiful pics. He had the right combination of traditional shots with artistic/creative shots.

Harvard Photography was great to work with. They have excellent packages that are completely can be completely customized to fit your budget and needs. Based on the quality of their work and albums we expected that they would be way out of our budget, but they are definitely comparable to other photographers in the Orange County area. Robert was our engagement photographer and we were extremely happy with all the photos :) We had two photographers on our wedding day and they were both very professional and easy to work with. Can't wait to see the photos!!

We had two photographers for our wedding and they were absolutely great. They took shots of what we asked and many clever candid shots. We didn't have as many as 2000 shots but only about half of that. We just got our proofs and are trying to choose our photos for the album but there are so many that we like that we're having a hard time narrowing down our choices. I would definitely recommend their services.

It was great working with harvard for our event. They did a great job on our engagement photos with Jose as our photographer. And we are sure our wedding photos will come out the same with Jason. We hand picked him because of his style and "urban outfitters" kind of feel. He gave just the right amount of instruction but also flexibility for us in guiding us during our photo sessions before, during and after the ceremony. We can't wait to see the photos!

Harvard photography had the best quality photos we'd seen (and we checked out A LOT of places!) They had a variety of packages to suit our budget. One of the greatest services they provided was a leather bound 'magazine style' album--definitely worth getting!

Harvard has a fantastic staff of people and their work is wonderful. I would say though that I am a tad disappointed with my wedding day pictures as there are almost none of myself and my groom during the reception. They pictures from the ceremony and the bridal party are fantastic.

We chose Harvard photography for both our engagement and wedding photos. Our photographer was Jason. He was great. At the e-shoot, it was a little awkward at first but then we all got into a groove and the pictures turned out fantastic. On the day-of, Jason arrived early and took whatever pictures I wanted plus whatever his artistic eye captured. The images we received were great and we are in the progress of making our album.

Definitely affordable. We looked at several companies and freelance photographers, but found Harvard would be able to capture our special day in the way we wanted (photojournalistic) and were within our budget.

Great photographers, but book them early. That’s the one thing we missed out on. We were advised we could book the photographer at any time, but at least 2 months before the wedding. So we followed the advise, but by that time we had only 2 photographers to choose from and both were just okay. One was definitely better than the other, so we booked him. He ended up being our photographer for the Engagement Photos. We thought GREAT! That enthusiasm didn’t last long since during our Engagement session we asked him about how excited we were to have him on our wedding date. He stated he actually is going to a friend’s wedding that day! Somehow this information slipped through the cracks at Harvard. So I called them about this the following business day and they informed me that they had only 1 photographer available. So we had no choice, but to book him. He was again OKAY. We found out he’s a freelancer and is basically on call with Harvard as long as he doesn’t already have a gig. I was not too fond of his work. There were some photos that weren’t taken, were blurry or over exposed. Yes, Harvard sends you a list of photos typically taken and you can modify it as necessary. It does state that they will try their best to take all those you list, but it’s not guaranteed. All I can say is make sure someone in your bridal party, a family member or your DOC has a copy and is in charge of at least the Pre- and Post-Ceremony photos. Not sure if it’s normal, but our DOC stated she would not be there during Pre- and Post-Ceremony Photos since she had to be at the reception to ensure the vendors were on-time and setting up. There’s nothing we can do now, but vent and let you future brides know of our experience.

Despite our displeasure with the main photographer, overall it was a good experience. Just remember to book your photographer early and have someone at your wedding (i.e. DOC, MOH, friend or family member) have a copy of the Photo List to make sure all your shots are captured! Also having a second photographer is a MUST! We even think his photos were better than the main photographer.

We met Harvard Photography at a Bridal Show and booked an appointment with them for a month or so later. I went into the appointment not thinking we’d book them, but it’d be worth just checking out. After our meeting with them (viewing photos and looking through their packages and talking about what vision we wanted for our wedding), we knew we wanted to book them for our wedding! Their packages include everything, but they’re flexible if you want to switch things out. They are very accommodating and respond quickly to emails and/or phone calls. A huge plus for them is that they give you a CD with all your photos (engagement and wedding) after your wedding. We were especially excited because they give you total creative freedom when creating your wedding photo book. Harvard also posts the wedding pictures online (not the engagement photos); however they post EVERY single picture. We were a little disappointed that even photos with funny faces or eyes shut were posted online, but I didn’t want to root through all 2500 of them to pick out those I wanted deleted (although, I’m sure they would have if I asked them). They have a number of photographers, but we booked Jose for the engagement photos since we were having a beach wedding and he was amazing! He even got into the water with us to capture the perfect photo. He was easy to work with and very energetic – we knew we could trust him to capture our wedding day perfectly. We were right, Jose (along with Jen, as a second photographer) captured our day perfectly. Our guests kept commenting on how many great photos he got and how he snapped pictures the ENTIRE evening. We were given our CD about 6 weeks after our wedding and it did include EVERY photo that was taken (even those with eyes shut). We have not received our book yet, but we did get a framed engagement picture and our wedding DVD slideshow. Both came out really good. I would definitely recommend them. Their services are great; they’re reliable and willing to work with you!

FI and I have booked Harvard after checking with 2 other photographers we liked. Gina at Harvard was so friendly and helpful. She helped us put together a package that worked within our budget. In the end we are getting the engagement session, wedding day photos all day and two full size parent albums for a great deal! Their cample product looked amazing and they came highly reccomended. Can't hardly wait! :D :D
