Hawaii Event Planners were fantastic. From the moment I spoke with Angela Miranda, I knew that I needed to look no further in my search for a wedding planner. I just had a feeling she knew what I needed. I have attended and been in a handful of weddings - ALL STRESSFUL...and mostly beautiful and fun too. Our wedding was just beautiful and fun, completely stress free. I always felt 100% certain that Angela had it handled, and she did. She seemed to know just the kind of wedding we wanted and executed it to perfection. We did a ceremony on the beach with a Hawaiian Minister. It was the most beautiful ceremony we could have imagined. We had pretty high expectations - and they were exceeded. My husband's parents were so moved - they have vowed to celebrate their 50th there with a vow renewal with the same Minister. IT WAS PERFECT. Following the wedding, we had a reception dinner that Angela helped to arrange at The Hukilau Lanai at The Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy. Again - AMAZING. My best friend was helping me get ready the morning of the wedding and mentioned that she was a bit jealous (lovingly!). She had wished she too had done a destination wedding as I had NO stress. Other family mentioned that they wished they had done it that way as well - and they meant it. I could not give Hawaii Event Planners a higher recommendation. Best day of my life!




I would highly recommend HI Event Planners. We got married April 30th, 2011 at the Sheraton Kauai. We worked with Angela via email and phone calls because we live in CA. I had a million questions and she always responded quickly and thoroughly.
The Sheraton Kauai was under construction during our wedding but Angela worked with us to ensure we were taken care of and that it would not interfere with our wedding in anyway. The staff went way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of from the moment we walked on the grounds. Great staff and service- we will definitely be coming back to check it out post-remodel.
In addition, we provided our own center pieces and tablecloths which she arranged to be shipped to the hotel and then set up after we assembled them. We could not have been more pleased with how it turned out. She listened to our ideas and fully captured them. We had one hiccup in that my place cards included paper umbrellas and it was a little windy. She quickly came up with a solution of putting them in a basket the hotel supplied and then having someone pass them out; it worked out perfectly.
Overall, everything was perfect- the DJ, the location, the service, the staff....everyone was awesome and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. A big thanks to HI Event Planners!!




I live in Houston and originally hired another individual to help me plan my Kauai wedding, after 3 months, I had to change planners because I didn't have confidence that my vision would be met for my wedding day and I felt that I would be stressed on the wedding day and was being strayed away from my vision due to our budget. I found Hawaii Event Planners and spoke with Angela. She immediately put me at ease. She is extremely professional and always responsive. Angela worked within my budget and when a change needed to be made, she did it with a smile (and there were many last minute changes!). She was extremely flexible and our communication was always open.
When my wedding week came. I had a clear agenda and timeline. Everything went as planned. I had barely any last minute running around to do. She took care of everything. We had our reception at Smith's Tropical Garden Luau and the food was spectacular! Everyone raved! The service was immpecible too. The wedding cake and favor vendor she used were awesome! The cake was so delicious, the centerpieces exactly what I asked for and all the leis were fresh and gorgeous. Angela has a good working relationship with many vendors which made it easier to stay within my budget, yet have the wedding of my dreams.
Don't waste your time searching for another planner. I am a very picky and detailed person and spoke with at least 8 planners and should have never wasted time and hired Angela on the spot. Here are my top reasons why you should choose Hawaii Event Planners:

Angela was the best. She made our wedding day the best it could be. I really counted on her for everything since I lived in California. We communicated through email almost exclusively so it was so nice to finally meet her on our wedding day. The vendors she recommended were wonderful. I wouldn't change a thing. The day of my wedding she got things done and without her connections/network of people that she knows I don't know what we would have done. Even with a Tsunami warning all was done to perfection. If you are thinking about getting married on Kauai, don't do it without working with Angela.




I can't think of anything I would change..our wedding was perfect! :-) Thanks to the help of Angela Miranda, my wedding coordinator. We live in California and our wedding is in Kauai and having her as my single point of contact made the planning stress-free and fun. She kept everything organized and on schedule. The vendors she recommended were all very professional and wonderful. Angela Miranda went above and beyond which made everything go smoothly when it could have been a big headache, especially during an unforeseen event that occurred when we had to make some major plan changes. When I finally met her on my wedding rehearsal day she is the most calm and sweet person, exactly how she is over the phone. She followed up with me on every single question and concern I had with a phone call or an e-mail. She knew exactly what I had in mind as far as how I want my special day to be. From our very first phone call, as soon as she followed up with me with every single details that we have discussed written in an organized format, I knew I was in good hands. I am very meticulous and I was very glad to learn that she is very organized and very detail oriented from the very start. I highly recommend her if you are planning an important event. Rest assured you will be in good hands.




I would just like to start out saying we had the most AMAZING wedding anyone could have ever imagined!!! Angela at Hawaii Event Planners made my wedding day dreams come true! I started planning my event in March and we originally were going to have our ceremony and reception at the Marriott...after some real thinking we decided against there b/c of the location (the beach is not pretty and no sunset). We had driven past the Sheraton Kauai Beach Resort on Poipu Beach and decided that we should change our plans and get married there! I spoke with Lehua at the Sheraton (also a GREAT help) who put me in contact with Angela! I was so impressed with Angela from day one she sent me all of the information I needed for a 30 person wedding up front. I told her what kind of price range we needed to stay in and she helped me stay with in it! I lived in Georgia at the time, so I had to trust her with everything. I sent her pictures and explanations of what I wanted and she made it happen! We even had many changes that I requested one day prior to the wedding, and Angela added them with no hesitation at all! When it came down to the day of the wedding and the flowers started to arrive I was taken back at how beautiful they looked exactly as I had invisioned them to look! The ceremony was perfect! I really could not have asked for more from anyone they treated my wedding as if it was their own! The photographer took pictures of our wedding party that I would never have never dreamed of taking (just breath taking)! We went on to have a reception on the lawn with the most amazing buffet, a very tasty wedding cake, a bartender who made anything anyone asked for, and a DJ who played EXACTLY what I requested with no questions at all! I could not brag anymore on Angela and the Sheraton!! If you want a wedding that people will be talking about for a lifetime then have Hawaii Event Planners help you plan your wedding... hahahaha that sounded like a commerical ;) This is a quote from one of our wedding guests, " I have been to a bunch of weddings including my own children and this was by far the BEST most beautiful wedding I have ever attended!!!" I cannot say enough good things about Angela Miranda at Hawaii Event Planners! As with many women today, I already had a pretty full daily schedule when I got engaged and was anxious about planning a destination wedding. Angela took the stress out of the planning and made it pretty easy. We planned to have the ceremony and reception at the Sheraton Kauai Resort and she laid out all of the decisions we needed to make and really helped with getting any additional requests fulfilled! The vendors she uses are AWESOME - from the photographer to the DJ (the guarist who played during our ceremony even serenated us while we took pictures). Our wedding rehearsal was almost as fun and beautiful as our ceremony and all our guests had a great time at the reception. Getting married on Kauai was a breeze thanks to Angela!




My husband and I chosed Angela Miranda of Hawaii Event Planners to plan my Kauai Wedding. It was such a pleasure working with Angela. My husband and I have such demanding schedules and Angela took care of everything! On the day of our wedding, i was able to enjoy everything and not worry about ANYTHING!! angela with hawaii event planners, LLC was fantastical!!! my husband and i couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out!! we had a very small wedding (14 people) and it was intimate and perfect!! angela listened to our needs an wants and helped us plan everything. working long distance wasn't a problem in the least as she was excellent with communication! she provided us with pictures and examples that helped us choose everything!




I live in New York and needed someone to handle all the logistics for my vow renewal in Kauai. Hawaii Event Planners, LLC flawlessly coordinated everything -- photographer, caterer, flowers, entertainment, make-up/hair, set-up/clean-up (we had the event at a private house, so everything needed to be brought in and taken out). Angela Miranda was so easy to work with. She returned phone calls promptly, answered all my questions, always followed up with the information I requested and handled change requests without problem. The vendors she referred were all excellent (esp. the caterer and entertainers). I never felt never pressured one way or another on which vendors to choose or how much to spend. She made sure I secured vendors, made payments, etc. on schedule. The day before the event, Angela and her on-site coordinator reviewed the timeline with me, answered my remaining questions and provided their personal cell phone numbers for last minute questions. On the day of the event, everything went smoothly. The on-site coordinator made sure all the vendors arrived on time, set-up correctly and stayed to make sure everything was cleaned up. Hawaii Event Planners did a wonderful job on my wedding & I recommend the company to all my friends & family. I got married on Kauai, but I live on Oahu & my wedding planner, Angela Miranda, took care of everything for me. She not only helped to calm my anxiousness but she took care of ALL the coordination with the vendors ~ the hotel (wedding site, reception, menu), musicians, florist, photographer, etc... I needed someone on Kauai to help me with all the planning & she did an excellent job. I didn't have to worry about anything. She was very organized & dependable. She also helped me to make very wise decisions & helped me to stay on track w/my budget.

I worked with Angela Miranda on my amazing May 2005 wedding to the love of my life. I still cannot belive how perfect everything was. Everyone in my family still talks about it and all of my cousins are so mad at me because they feel like they will never be able to compete with my beautiful Kauai wedding day. They are right!
Angela worked her butt off so that I could relax and enjoy myself. She handled everything from the pre-planning, site selection, and contract negotiations. She set me up with the pastor, the wedding cake, the food, the bartender, the drummer boys, the photographer, the videographer, the musician, EVERYTHING!
