Olowalu Plantation House

The Olowalu Plantation house was the most beautiful venue! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. We rented the house for the wedding day. You can't stay there overnight. I recommend brides to do their make up/hair at their hotels first and not at the plantation house as it does get a little hot in the house in the afternoon and they do not have air conditioning. The venue can accomodate small and large parties. Our wedding was 40 ppl but I think they can hold up to 150ppl! This really is a beautiful venue. Our sunset photos from here are absolutely amazing!

All of our guests loved our venue. The ceremony and reception both took place on a huge lawn that is only a few feet from the ocean. The beach that's right below the lawn has a lot of rocks, so I wouldn't recommend it for barefoot-on-the-beach pics. But the ocean views are unmatched. The palm trees create a gorgeous "postcard picture" against the ocean for the perfect tropical backdrop. I absolutely loved the palm trees! It was really convenient to have the ceremony and reception all in one place. There are 2 back bedrooms where people can change and get ready in for the wedding. The walk from the house to the ceremony site is pretty long, so it makes for a very dramatic entrance (with ample time for people to get pictures of you walking down the aisle). Loved this venue!

The first time we saw the Olowalu Plantation House, we fell in love with it. Our coordinator was brilliant for showing us this private estate! Event though it was pricey, it was so much more than we could have dreamed of and we think it was money well spent. Mom & Dad loved it, too, and insisted in paying for this. Thank you!

One of my favorite locations to photograph and to attend any event. This beautiful location is situated directly on the beach and is the perfect venue for any wedding ceremony and reception.
