HD inVision ~ Hi-Definition Videography & Editing

When we were beginning our planning and budget I knew I wanted a videographer but I preferred to give the photographer a larger budget. I found Robert on project wedding and after meeting with about 5 videographers it was an easy decision. HD InVision! From the start Robert was so sweet, low key, very professional. He calls back, emails and answers any and all of your questions promptly. I met with him twice and he showed us videos of weddings he has filmed and even gave me a dvd to take home. What I loved most about his videos was that he captures every special moment and the video went by so fast. I was able to sit through a whole wedding from a bride I never met. It was beautiful. His videos are not of your special day are not cheesy and lame. They are very fun and fast flowing. Its like watching a movie-captivating and beautiful!

On the day of the wedding he arrived promptly. He was quiet as a mouse, not in your face or intrusive and yet worked so hard. Every time I looked over at Robert he was filming working. I have to say Robert really captured every special moment nothing was missing or left out.

With my wedding going by with a blink of an eye I was really anxious to see the video. Robert was willing to let me stop by and see the full video. He made me fall in love with my wedding all over again. I left his place with a huge smile on my face! Being married on a yacht it was hard to hear the ceremony with the noise of the ocean and the yacht forgetting to provide a microphone. To my surprise Robert was able to capture the whole ceremony from the microphone he places on my husband. It was a lifesaver to be able to actually have that on video. I am waiting for my official finish video by I trust in Robert that it will be amazing. He spends a lot of time with post processing and I know it will be worth the wait. I was waiting to post my review til I received my official video but I will add on to my review when I receive it!!! So exited to get it next month!!! I feel lucky to have found him!

EDIT: I received my wedding video and I had to update my review! It's even better then I expected! Words can't describe what a great job Robert did. DH and I watched the whole thing together and we laughed and reminisced on our very special day. Robert really makes your whole experience special from the tiny details to the music to the whole picture. He even offers brides a complementary slide show of pictures from your childhood, life together, and wedding. It's a great feature! He even took the liberty to scan in our detail from our programs to incorporate it into the video...he went above and beyond and for that I am very grateful! I am showing it to my family and friends this weekend for our big diner :) I just know thy will love it as much as we did!

If I could offer any advice I would not only hire Robert to do your wedding but I would hire him to do a video-engagement shoot to play for guests at the wedding. If you can squeeze it into your budget its wayyyy worth it!

robert was very responsive, professional, and on top of follow-up from our intial contact. he arrived on time, decided to throw in a second shooter for the ceremony close to our wedding date when i sent him our ceremony setup, in order to best capture everything, and was everywhere and very unobtrusive at the same time on our wedding day.

editing-wise, we like more of an edgy and contemporary style. however, we didn't want our video to get dated too quickly, either. robert's editing style is a good balance of classic and modern without any cheese. from his other samples, it seems he can adjust more toward one end of the spectrum or the other as well, depending on your taste. he does give you a very detailed questionnaire regarding your style preferences at the beginning, but he was able to extract that which fit us and our event best with very little direction from [lazy] me [who didn't fill it all out]. his turnaround time was very reasonable as videography goes, and he was such a pleasure to work with throughout the process.

I had reviewed the demos of at least a dozen different videographers who had our date open and ended up not finding anyone I felt comfortable enough to be there with us on our wedding day. We were very lucky to find HD InVision so close to our wedding date.

On our wedding day Robert and his assistant showed up early and were ready to roll. They captured so much footage that we had no idea that they had even gotten... they were everywhere! Because we were such a small, intimate wedding we weren't sure how they'd settle in among our guests but even our friends and family were having a blast with them.

We were blown away when on a whim on our honeymoon we checked his website to find our demo video already up. We forwarded it to everyone on our email lists that we could find as it was simply amazing. We couldn't wait to see our video and thankfully we didn't have to wait for long until our video arrived on our doorstep. We were both rolling in laughter and crying so hard by the end of our video we both hurt. His ability to edit the actual video (we also received the raw footage) still blows me away three months after I received it and after at least half a dozen viewings. It’s truly a professional, TV-quality piece of work. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

The professionalism, organizational skills, and quality make Robert from HD inVision the best choice and VALUE for your wedding day videography. We did not plan on hiring a videographer, but the past reviews from brides who have hired him changed our minds. We had a set a budget, and Robert's videography package provided so much more than what other videographers were offering for the same price. When our DVD finally arrived, we were extremely satisfied with his style of editing- contemporary yet classic at the same time. It doesn't feel too traditional nor does it feel "dated" either. We can tell he is thorough in his work- he asks for your preferences and style of music in the questionaire you get at your first meeting. He also is quick to return emails and is mindful of any details you request him to remember. On the day of the wedding, he and his assistant cameraman were hardly noticeable during the preparation, very respectful with our guests, and SO much fun to shoot with during our wedding day photo session. They worked well with our photographers, wedding planner, and church coordinators. The only limitation I found was the length of time our DVD took to be completed. Our wedding was in October 2008, but the final product was not delivered until December of 2009. Robert did keep all communication open with us during that time, so we felt assured that he was not taking advantage of us. Our final DVD is a true keepsake and documentary of a once in a lifetime event that Robert captured with such grace and art.

Overall, I would recommend HD inVision to other brides. The best thing to do is compare what other videographers are offering for the same price and ask to see the full length, final product of their work (NOT just highlights which can be very misleading). Also, it's crucial that you and your partner feel comfortable with the videographer; just like your photographers, they will be following you around the whole day.

I found Robert on The Knot's LA board. I went to his website which has his fees listed. Because his fees were posted, I knew he was in our budget, so I contacted him. He was prompt in answering all of my emails and always polite and professional. At our wedding, Robert was so inconspicuous we had several bridal party members ask if we had a videographer! We are so glad we hired Robert. I am not a bridezilla but I do have very high standards and am very particular. Our weddingc video exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It was so tastefully edited. Everything from Robert's music selection to the way the footage was assembled was amazing. I gave Robert a few instructions, but he seemed to "get" our style and personalities. Without any reservation I would highly recommend HD in Vision. I am not sure how he keeps his packages at such a reasonable cost, because he could be charging so much more for the quality of work he produces. Run do not walk to book HD in Vision for your wedding.

If you are thinking of skipping Videography for your wedding to save a few bucks, DON'T!!!! It doesn't have to be the cheesy, sappy, overpriced, boring wedding video you throw in a droor with your other DVD's and are too embarrased to show your friends and family. It can be AWESOME, it can be something you are proud of, you just have to find the right person to do it for you! I feel so lucky to have found Robert because now I have what I consider to be one of the BEST investments we made in our wedding.

The difference is that Robert Busch is an artist. He doesn't run a 'video factory', and he takes the time to taylor the details of your video to your personality as a couple and the unique vibe of your wedding. He is patient, open-minded to your suggestions, and works hard with your requests to get your video to be exactly what you want it to be.

On our wedding day there were some major problems with sound quality due to the venue's sound system malfunctioning. MUCH of our ceremony was lost in a whirlpool of bad feedback noises so even my own MOTHER in the front row barely heard a word of our ceremony. And the volume never turned up our music so all of our processional and recessional music got lost. Imagine all of your hard work to pick out the right songs for your "vision" of yourself walking down the aisle, and in the end no one hears any of it. Bummer!!!! ROBERT SAVED THE DAY. His microphone placed on the groom picked up our ENTIRE ceremony, and we now have EVERY single word on video sounding lovely against beautiful instrumental background music. He ALSO reinserted each of our songs that were lost in the wind so that everytime we watch the ceremony, it is exactly how we had always envisioned it to be. Um....Priceless!!!

Nothing brings back the joy and pride of our big day like this video, it makes all of the hard work and planning so completely worth it. This is a "stress-free" vendor.....leave the stress to your other vendors and wedding duties. Sign up here and relax.....you'll be glad you did.

At the beginning of planning our wedding, we were unsure about hiring a Videographer and after numerous conversations with other brides about how fast all the events take place..I decided to meet with Robert and a few others.
From the moment I met with Robert I knew that he was someone that I could see having at the wedding.
My now husband and I have a very diverse group from Dr.'s to out of control co-workers and Robert made everyone feel so comfortable. I really even forgot that he was there! He did so well in dealing with all of my other vendors and everyone in the bridal party said that he was just "the nicest guy".
The video made me laugh and cry and Robert even put some surprises in there for me that I didn't even know he did that night. Seeing the entire event brought back so much that I was unable to see that it was like being at the wedding all over again.
I wish I could tell all of you brides to be.....get a videographer!!! I honestly would have paid double the cost if I would have know the feeling that you get seeing the video after months have passed.

We cant say enough about how much we liked working with Robert! He was professional and warm and he sat down with us and personalized our video. About four months before our wedding we made a last minute decision to hire a videographer. My fiance and I decided that we'd rather spend the money and have it than to not have a wedding video and regret it.

We found Robert through the knot message boards from reviews of other brides and we had also emailed with a few other vendors. For price, quality of video, and package contents we thought he was unmatched. We really liked that he has professional editing skills and has worked on television shows. We didn't think you could find a videographer like that. We also liked that he had an actual second shooter instead of an unmanned stationary video camera. He was very fast in responding via email and followed up with us when he had questions about the wedding music and the timeline.

On the actual day of the wedding we barely noticed he was there! He was never obtrusive and he really covered all the details of the wedding. After the wedding he kept us updated of his progress with the video which was great. He also posts a short highlights video on his website a couple weeks after the wedding that we were able to share with our family and friends (Cynthia and Garland The Rose Center). When we received our video we were amazed! We had seen his samples prior to booking him so we knew his work would be good, but we were seriously in awe. The video really encompassed our whole wedding day and even captured moments we didn't realize existed!

We are so happy that we have our wedding video to relive the moments. We just received our wedding album recently too, but really having a video and watching yourself walk down the aisle again and hearing the music evokes a much stronger memory and emotion. My husband told me right after we watched our video for the first time that it was one of the best decisions we made. Robert is super talented and easy to work with. We were shocked that he was still free on our wedding day with only four months to go!

We originally were not sure if we wanted a videographer during our wedding planning process, but we both feel so blessed that we did find Robert Busch and were able to have him capture all of the wonderful moments of our wedding. We found Robert through sites such as project wedding and the knot, and knew right away after meeting with him that he was someone that would be easy to get along with, accomodating to our requests and suggestions, and also wonderfully talented with amazing skills.

On the day of the wedding, Robert was extremely professional, showing up on time and making everyone feel right at ease. He was also very responsive with e-mails throughout the editing phase, encouraging us to pick music that would be representative of us.

When we received our dvds, we were blown away by the quality and his skills with editing. Not only had Robert captured many special moments of our day but he had seamlessly blended edited footage and music together for a really impressive wedding dvd. He was even able to incorporate elements of our wedding stationary and design into the video!

We almost didn't hire a videographer but are SO glad we did! I cannot begin to put into words what an amazing job Robert did. It was like I was watching a movie, but it was of my husband and I! From the day we first met with him, he was so helpful and professional I just knew he would do an incredible job! Robert went far above and beyond our expectations.

On the wedding day, we barely even noticed he was there but now seeing the video; he was in exactly the right spots at just the right moments! The footage he captured was purely breathtaking - I have already watched it 4 times all the way through!!! (We just got it two days ago!!!!) The quality of the footage was outstanding and the editing and song selections captured our day perfectly. What an amazing memory we have to pass on to our children and grandchildren. We are SO pleased with Robert of HDinVision; we think he did an AMAZING job on our wedding video! He has an impressive editing style and focus on quality. From the start I know I wanted a videographer, but choosing the right company to video our special day is very important. I called Robert and he sends me a package and a free video to watch. The video was very professional and I like the way he capture the moment and we have chosen Robert as our videographer. He showed up on time to our location and video everything not missing any bit of information. We just receive our finish video last week and we truly enjoyed watching it. It is like watching a movie. I saw a rave about HD inVision on Project Wedding and decided to contact Robert. He was very genuine and responsive to what we wanted in a video. I just received my wedding video and I can't say enough great things about Robert! Not only was he great to work with but his work was amazing...it was like watching a movie. I honestly hardly even noticed him during the wedding but he definitely captured all of the little details. He incorporated all the music we wanted to include in the video and the editing was so awesome & professional! There were some interesting artistic elements in the video as well as all the important events of the day captured. We just received our wedding DVD from our videographer and it came out AMAZING. I am so please with the work from the editing, the look, the DVD casing…just the overall quality. We met up at 7 a.m. this morning and as soon as I got home MH and I watched it immediately. There were so many things we laughed at and we both got a bit teary eyed on some parts (MH hates to cry in front of me, but there were some real emotional moments captured).

I want to thank knottie Tuckertobe so much for recommending him on this board. I cannot express how glad I was that we hired a videographer and an amazing one at that. I had constantly heard on this board how grateful knotties were that they hired one due to: how the day goes by so fast, there are things that you miss, etc. There were so many moments that not even pictures could capture and even though our pictures came out amazing as well. A video provides a whole different view and feel of your wedding day.

This was one type of vendor where MH & I did not agree on at all; he felt it was a waste of time and not necessary at all to hire a videographer. We constantly argued about this, then I finally said I would pay for one myself and not split 50/50 like we had for everything else for the wedding.

His parents gave us a generous gift by offering to pay for the videographer, since his mom had seen how much I had wanted one and agreed with my reasons. She also did agree with MH that some of the prices are crazy. But I felt that his prices were very reasonable and great compared to some other videographers I had looked at. Robert and his work stood out so much to us because he shoots everything in HD and does his own editing, which was a big plus to us. On an HDTV the DVD looked just absolutely amazing.

He has been so professional and sweet, he was sending us bi-weekly updates and towards the last few weeks the updates were daily. He worked around our crazy schedule to get certain things from us like photos, music, etc.

I cannot recommend him enough and feel truly happy that we went with him. Especially after all of the stories I had heard about other videographers on these boards. One thing is that I absolutely recommend regardless of your budget is to have someone videotape your wedding… a friend, family member, professional, etc. The day just goes by so fast and it’s nice to have something like this to look at in the future.
