Heather Nelson Trio
The Heather Nelson Trio was awesome! They did 2 hours of their regular Jazz set which was romantic and really set a great atmosphere for the wedding! For the last hour they did a DJ set and it was perfect to pick things up right at the end. They let the reception flow smoothly, and didn't try to make it "their show". They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them!
The Heather Nelson Trio was one of the best decisions we made for our reception. From the very start they responded immediately to our inquiry and spent all the time we needed to discuss the details. They were extremely professional and such a pleasure to work with. We added a saxophonist as well. They played exactly what we wanted and sounded just like we hoped they would (we only heard them online, had never heard/seen them in person/live). We had so many compliments and everyone (all ages) enjoyed their music. They made our reception so very special and so memorable.

More than a Trio
While the trio consists of Heather Nelson on Vocals/Piano, bassist Johnny Nelson and Justin Walke on drums, we also offer a range of options to fit any situation or budget - from a simple duo for smaller events, to a Deluxe five piece band with Sax & Guitar for larger functions. We can even DJ a dance party set later in the evening with a custom song list chosen by you – the best of both worlds for one great price! We’re always happy to hear what you have in mind for your event and offer suggestions if requested to help you choose the perfect option that’s right for you.
We'll provide everything
No piano at your venue? No problem, Heather uses her own high quality keyboard at most of the events we play (the same one used in our audio samples). Usually the only thing we'll need is access to an electrical outlet - we provide everything else - all sound equipment necessary to perform for your event and our space requirements are very flexible, accommodating any situation. We can also make any announcements you would like.
Booking is simple
To secure a booking we'll send you a simple one page contract by mail or email – your choice. Simply review, sign and return it along with a small deposit and your date is locked in. We’ll send back a fully signed copy for your records right way. The balance isn't due until the day of the event. Payment can be made by check, cash or credit cards through www.PayPal.com.
