After sifting through many photographers and photography "companies," from everything from the budget student photographer to the higher-end luxury photo studio, we found Heather Parker Photography was exactly what we were looking for. Every photographer should document your wedding and be able to shoot photojournalistic and candid but we wanted something more. We wanted really bold, vibrant images that spoke to us and accurately told the story of our day. Her prices were fair. On the actual day, Ms. Parker arrived early with an assistant. The assistant actually took photos too and wasn't just carrying around flashes. In the end we got so many photos I believe because of this. She gave us the disc of photos in color but also was able to make them black & white for us so we got a set of both. She was very accommodating. She worked within our comfort zone and got us some really creative, vibrant shots. They look like something out of a magazine. Out of all our vendors I'd say Heather Parker Photography and our florist were our top ones that got the most compliments.

The wedding coordinator at the Omni Hotel personally recommended that I look into Heather Parker for photography. We did, and ended up falling in love with her work. She covered our wedding this last October. Both Heather and another photographer were there to shoot all phases of our day. She did some of the most amazingly wonderful photography work that I've ever seen! Heather was able to perfectly capture the chronology, the emotion and all the fine details of our wedding day. They were also flexible and creative enough to still be able to find those amazing shots, even though it rained on the day. We, and our guests, were extremely impressed by her professionalism and sensitivity as she executed their work. What I thought was great was the style she shot in as she seemingly blended in very well during the day. Looking through all the photos that were taken, we are extremely impressed with the quality of each and every shot and the various perspectives of the wedding that were captured. Until now, our friends and relatives are still reminiscing about the wedding (through the photographs) and commenting on what a spectacular day it was - this, in itself, is the ultimate compliment to Heather and her assistant. We are extremely glad that we chose Heather Parker Photography to be such an important part of such a precious memory. It definitely helped with making our wedding day perfect and a dream come true...
