Heidel House Resort and Evensong Spa

When we initially began our wedding planning, there were 3 new catering managers within 3 months, but after Don and Star took over, everything went really great!! I am so happy that we stuck with the Heidel House. It is a wonderful facility, the food was great, I heard nothing but great things from the guests, and everyone was happy. They did an awesome job communicating and working with us about every detail, down to who got the gluten free vs. the vegan vs. the nut free meal!! We also had brunch the next day which was just as awesome!!

I held my ceremony and reception at the Heidel House and it was more than what I expected. First the food is amazing and have heard so many compliments months after the wedding which goes to show how great it was. The views from the site is great too. If you are looking to have an outdoors feel but with all the amenities of an indoor location I would suggest renting the carriage house tent for the reception. The only thing that I didn't like was that there is a noise ordinance that doesn't allow loud music after 10pm at night. It worked out fine with us because there is a large bar on site and everyone was welcome to continue the party down there. Oh and the places to take amazing wedding pics there is endless. I have so many pictures from different areas that will last me through the years. We worked with Star and she was absolutely amazing as well. Through all my changes she was always willing to see what changes could be made. And don't worry about anything on the 'big day' cause she will materialize by your side (sometimes I felt out of thin air :))and keep you in the loop of things that are going on or to ask a question. Basically she made me feel relaxed and in control on my wedding day. All in all for the cost it was well worth it for such a beautiful day...in fact the best day of my life thus far!

We got a package deal for our rehearsal dinner that included a lot of food. We had plenty of time together to do what we wanted to do in a very private setting. Great service.

Beautiful location for our ceremony! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location. It’s important to keep in mind they have several other weddings at the same time.

The food served for our reception was delicious. Many people said it was great food. The service was slow, not ready to replenish food when needed and very disorganized. All size rooms to cater to what you need. All the amenities they have make a complete venue.

Our guests lodged at the resort for the weekend. The view was gorgeous can’t be beat. The food was delicious. We ate in the Sun Room from Breakfast it was great. The service needed to be better. We started with one host and ended up with another who did a great job but we had to explain everything all over again.

We also spent our first evening here as husband and wife. Nice quiet area. Normal Hotel. With updates it could be a 5 star resort. Problem would be if the price went up.
