Helen and Bob were simply amazing. They KNOW the shots you will want and they get them!!! Their work is impeccable! Our wedding was in Philadelphia and Helen and Bob knew ALL the perfect spots to take us around the city. They arrived early to scope out all the right locations for the "first sight ceremony" and we couldn't be more thrilled with their decision. The moment right before I saw my husband was captured exactly how I envisioned and is actually my favorite picture.

The reason we first were drawn to Helen Stevenson Photography was through her 5 star reviews. So my fiance and I decided to take a look at her website. As soon as we scrolled through 3 or 4 shots on her website we knew no one could beat her work. It wasn't just the "wedding work" that captured us but also the photos she takes all around the world. You can see her passion for photography in each one of her photos. Each and every picture she takes, you can see she gives it 200%. She doesn't miss a single beat!! Every single moment of our night was captured!! You also simply cannot beat the price. After seeing her work online I thought her price was going to be 3 times what it was, but it wasn't (although after seeing all her photos I without a doubt would have paid that!) The value is unbeatable! In regards to time frame of the delivery of the photos, Helen is BY FAR the speediest photographer out there. I was floored when about a month after our wedding we already had our slide show and CD with all our photos!! This is unheard of! People didn't believe me when I said how fast I received the discs. Aside from our venue, photography was the most important decision to us; without a doubt this was one of the best decisions of our wedding day!! Thank you Helen Stevenson Photography!!! You captured our day EXACTLY how we envisioned and this review simply cannot do your photos justice!

Helen and Bob were a great choice for our wedding photography! They were constantly communicating with us, gave us many great suggestions, and kept everything very simple and running smoothly. Our pictures were amazing, and we don't know how we're going to choose 90 favorites for our album.. there are many more great pictures! Helen isn't afraid to speak up or tell you her opinion, which is what we wanted in a photographer.. she kept everyone in line and we were able to get all of our pictures without wasting time so that we could really enjoy the reception. They are also very reasonably priced and the quality is as good as/better than others! I would definitely recommend them for your wedding photography needs, and I will keep them in mind for future events.

Helen Stevenson Photography did an incredible job at our wedding. Helen and her husband captured all of the special moments at that we will treasure for a life time. Helen arrived at our house to take pictures of us getting ready and traveled with us on the bus to the venue. They took pictures of us, the wedding party, guest and family during the ceremony and reception. We are currently chosing pictures for our album and it is difficult to narrow them down because they are all so amazing! We highly recommend Helen Stevenson photography for any event! -

Helen and Bob (her nice husband) were AMAZING! She is absolutely passionate about her work. I believe she treats every couple as if it were the only couple in the world, like her own son or daughter! Her attention to detail and tenacity to capture the perfect shot is admirable. You can tell that she truly loves her work. Also thanks Bob for being so patient and nice, carrying all those equipment.

When we started wedding planning, photography was one of the most important services for us. My husband and his family are into photography and we wanted a photographer with a keen eye and a sense for both contrast and composure. Our top candidate would also be someone who was very concerned with his equipment quality and variety of lenses. After speaking with a few vendors, we met with Helen, and then ended our search. She actually met us at our apartment and brought a ton of samples of her work. We were immediately impressed with his images and with the passion in which she spoke about photography. The pictures were clean, crisp, and dynamic and we have been overwhelmingly pleased with her work for us. Helen took engagement photos of us all around Philly that were fantastic. She was able to give us suggestions on ways to pose that came out just great and really captured both of us beautifully. On top of that, Helen visited our wedding site prior to the wedding to get a sense of the venue and look at various areas to take pictures. On our wedding day Helen was nothing less than amazing. She arrived early (as always) and was ready to work. She and her assistant, Bob her husband, worked from the second they got there until well after the party was over. In the morning, she quietly worked while capturing the excitement when the girls and boys were getting dressed and continued his hard work throughout the event. I had many people come up to me during the wedding and say that they couldn't believe how hard our photographer was working! She was almost invisible throughout the day, however we knew she was constantly catching all of the important moments. Even after the wedding, she wanted to take a few more shots and I think her favorite phrase was, "oh, I thought of something, just one more shot." It is clear that she is passionate about what she does, and her passion is evident is her pictures. While still on our honeymoon, Helen sent us our pictures from the wedding, and again we were blown away. We are truly grateful for the hard work she put into our wedding day and couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

We are so happy to have selected Helen as our photography for our wedding. From our first meeting with her we knew she was the perfect choice. She was professional, nice, creative and easy to work with. The packages she offers are a great value. She had the proofs ready quickly. We are still waiting for our albums but that is only because it took us so long to select the photos. It's not as easy as we thought it would be because there were so many wonderful choices....thanks to Helen and Bob.

Helen and her husband did an absolutely incredible job of capturing all of the precious moments of our wedding day. They were both extremely attentive, professional and very easy to work with. We also appreciated their ability to direct our bridal party where to go and what to do when it came time to pose for certain shots. This made the day go much more smoothly for us. When it came time to choose pictures for the album, it was incredibly difficult sorting through them all to choose favorites since they were all so good! Once we did, we were again amazed at how beautifully the album turned out.

Helen Stevenson Photography is awesome! Helen and her husband Bob did a fabulous job for our wedding last June. We researched several different photographers and Helen Stevenson Photography was the best out of all of them. They had the most experience, the best wedding packages, and financially they were the most reasonable. The day of the wedding they were organized, planned out, and kept our day moving in an orderly fashion while still finding beautiful landscapes to use for the backdrop of our day. We received the cd and dvd of our pictures very prompt as well as our album. The most difficult part of working with them was trying to determine which pictures to use in our wedding album as all of the pictures turned out so nice. Helen was always available to us for our questions and feedback on which pictures to put in the album. The album was gorgeous!!! We could not have been happier with the album. The album just wasn't pictures thrown together in a book. Helen put so much time in perfecting the album to our liking. The album really captured the love and happiness of our day. I would absolutely refer Helen Stevenson Photography to anyone that was planning a wedding. I guarantee you will be happy with them.

Helen takes charge on your wedding day which is wonderful because you don't have to. I can't say enough about Helen Stevenson Photography. First I need to inform you that I was a wedding photographer for 28 years. I assumed when my daughter became engaged I would use a colleague of mine from the business, however, that did not happen. Upon searching for photographers on the internet, I came across Helen's site. Helen's pictures are beautiful! I was so impressed with her work - the colors, clarity, and unique creative style were breathtaking. The pictures are almost life-like. When we visited Helen’s studio her photos confirmed our decision, and my daughter and son-in-law decided to book with her. Helen was the best vendor I hired for my wedding. She got all the shots to capture the day perfectly and was never in the way. I met with one photographer and only one. Helen showed me fabulous pictures of weddings that she had done in the past and I fell in love. My Mom and I decided we did not need to look any farther. I did not have much experience planning weddings and knew very little about the cost of vendors, services, etc. Helen gave us a price, which I learned in end from speaking with other brides, that was not only fair but quite low for the quality and quantity that we received. We have stated many times that our photographer was by far the best choice we made for the entire wedding. Band and food were great too but pictures last a life time and ours are remarkable!

I can't say enough good things about Helen and her talent and professionalism. She photographed my daughter's wedding in Key West and captured some spectacular shots of the couple against the ocean sunset and on the beach as well as many unique, memorable photos of the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. She has the personality to put a nervous bride and groom (as well as mom) at ease and is truly professional from beginning to end. She has been a photojournalist for most of her life- and when you see her photography, it's second to none. She scouted our locations and took some shots of the reception venue as well as the church prior to our wedding day, just to be sure she knew the locations and photo opportunities before we arrived.
