Henry Chen Photography

I saw Henry Chen's website and images, and I immediately wanted to have him as my wedding photographer. He is very professional and sooo nice, and he makes you feel at ease when he takes his pictures. Like with any wedding vendor, you have to be specific about what you want and he'll do so. If you want a certain style or people in your pictures, let him know. Henry's style is photojournalism, so posing and portraits aren't really his thing.
He does cost more than other photographerss, but I got ten hours and two photographers at my wedding. A lot of images to look through! I highly recommend Henry Chen as your wedding photographer. You will not be disappointed!

Henry was an absolute pleasure to work with. I believe it is a testiment to his professionalism that it is over two weeks past our wedding date, and Henry is still as responsive as he was when he was putting toghether the contract for our wedding. We booked Henry for our wedding two years ago in 2007 after our engagement session. Looking back at our wedding, the best decision we made is to get Henry to shoot for us!!!

I met Henry two years ago and he showed me his pictures from LA Clippers games and I instantly recognize his talent for photography. I flew my fiance down from Seattle to take an engagement session with Henry in December 2007. My fiance gave me a hard time in the beginning since I talked non-stop about how good Henry is and how he can even be better considering he just starting out. Henry did an exceptional job for our wedding on August 8th, 2009 in Seattle! We didn't get much sleep before the wedding and were worry about how we will look on pictures. Henry solved that problem for by take pictures at the right angle that made us look so good and capture our special moments in our wedding. Henry was like an invisible man at our wedding and we still couldn't figure out how he was able to take the pictures he did. Our family and friends were amazed by Henry's pictures and keep asking us when the can see our official wedding album.

Henry took our engagement photos and we absolutely love our photos and our album! We had a blast on our photo shoot! Henry is very creative, warm, funny, talented, and an all-around great guy! Henry Chen is an amazing photographer for various reasons. First, his pictures are crisp, clean, and definitely artistic. According to a friend of mine, he works "magic" and I agree. Secondly, Henry is extremely professional. Professional towards his clients and during our wedding day while interacting with our friends and family members. Thirdly, he is flexible. Even though he has a busy schedule, he's always willing to rearrange dates to accommodate us. I call him speedy because he's so quick to respond to emails, requests, and text messages! I have never written a customer feedback before, but because of exceptional above-the-norm service I received from Henry Chen, I feel I should take some of my time to recognize it- and in this case I’m letting everybody know.
Many couples regret of not investing on a professional wedding photographer. Thank God, I don’t have to go through all the drama, that’s because I found Henry Chen. For the future bride and groom, (a piece of advice) if your want to have the highest quality wedding pictures, you should have Henry Chen as your wedding photographer. He’s very talented, very creative, very friendly, and always on time. One thing I like most about Henry is that he doesn’t just capture a wedding event;but he captures every soul and spirit of it. What I mean by this is that the wedding pictures are so natural. They do not only portray the existence of the wedding, but they reveal the emotions of the event- happiness, unity, tears of joy and of course love that surrounds us throughout the event. They are purely a reminder of our feeling when we become one.

Photography was incredibly important to my fiance (now husband!) and me. We searched through 85+ photographers in the Los Angeles area and Henry's work was definitely the best we saw for a few reasons: (1) He does an incredible job truly capturing the moments as they come, candidly and perfectly. (2) The COLORS in his images are phenomenal. (3) His creativity is unmatched by other photographers. (4) He's SO STINKIN' NICE!!! Seriously, send him an e-mail and you will see immediately that he is one of the most dedicated, kind, sincere photographers out there which really makes a difference when you're working with him on your wedding day and before.

We ended up using Henry for our engagement photo session at Disneyland, our wedding, and a family portrait session a few days before the wedding. Henry pulled off all three with ease. We felt he was so easy to work with and was as excited about taking the photos as we were to have them taken

We also had the chance to meet some other couples who had worked with Henry, and not a single person has negative things to say about him. He can really do some incredible things with a camera and has all of the best equipment to make sure he is literally doing the best he can. It's also nice to see how much he genuinely loves photography, particularly weddings

All I can say is USE Henry! You will not be disappointed. When we looked at Henry's website we thought there was no way we could afford him to photograph our wedding but he worked with us to meet our budget and provided incredible service and incredible photos. We planned our wedding pretty last minute and he drove out to Newbury Park just for the initial meeting. Henry's got exceptional patience. In our group everyone had their own ideas of what should be done and how, Henry never once gave the impression of being frustrated or fed up! Everyone at the wedding raved about how nice he was and how great our photos turned out. And to top it off he sent us a link the next day to a sneak peak of some of his favorite photos from our event. Then we got a link to 300 photos about a week later if not sooner. Henry will deliver everything he promises and more!! In a nutshell he's AWESOME...

It has been a fun ride with Mr. Henry Chen!! Our initial interview with Henry was at the end of January and from that first meeting we knew he was our man - I think we pretty much signed our contract and locked him up the next day.Planning a wedding can be a busy and tiring process, so it is extremely important to lock down your major items - venue, food, photographer, make up, dj etc.With Henry as our photographer he was professional, attentive, and EXTREMELY ORGANIZED!! My wife (then fiance) and I never had to worry about Henry. If we ever had a question - we would simply e-mail or give him a ring. What to say about Henry Chen.. HE is Excellent and his work speaks for itself. He is such a genuinely nice guy. We had such a great time during our engagement session and our photos came out exactly as we imagined it would be.. artistic and definitely capturing a genuine moment between us. My husband (now) and I met Henry through a friend of ours. From our first e-mail exchange to our engagement session to our wedding day, everything was impeccable! We were so impressed with his work from all the way from VA that we asked him to be our photographer for our big day! Short & sweet version.. Henry is AMAZING!!As you all already know, Henry is an extremely talented photographer and pretty much a rockstar all around! It was such an honor to have him capture our wedding day on film and I cannot say enough about the quality and value of his work. Henry Chen is the best photographer I've seen in recent years. His photographs are works of art! I'm so happy that we hired Henry because our engagement and wedding photographs are so beautiful. Henry is a bride's dream come true. Vendors really don't get any better than him! My husband (then fiancé) and I were worried about selecting a photographer that would take cheesy photos or put us in poses that just weren't natural. Unlike most photographers, Henry's photos are available in DAYS, not months. He responds to emails and phone calls immediately (at worst 24 hours). I've been putting off doing Henry's review because I don't even know where to start. I cannot emphasize enough what an unimaginably, unspeakably, indescribably outstanding wedding photographer Henry is. He was the BEST money we spent on our wedding. Here are the reasons: - His style is the perfect mix of artistic and classic. The pictures are technically excellent (I'm not a photographer, but I've been told), capture tons of emotion, and are beautifully composed. I don't need to say anything else about this. My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Henry for both our engagement and wedding photos (Wedding was August 2011). Henry was amazing! He is the consummate professional, taking the time to get to know us, our style and vibe as a couple and what we were looking for in our photographs. Henry was awesome! He always replied to our emails or calls within hours even late at night. We love the way Henry takes wedding pictures. He has a unique way of taking pictures, he can always find that nice angle or use nearby items or resources that I don't think other photographers would think of to shoot photos. He's very flexible and really listened to what we wanted in photos. Henry doesn't just take pictures, he creates art. Henry is awesome! We got married in October last year, but we were very disappointed of our wedding pictures that were done by the Hotel photographer.So... we did another Bridal shoot this last weekend with Henry and OMG... we LOVE our pictures!!!!He was professional but yet very easy-going. It was like we were working with an old friend on this photo shoot. Henry took us to THREE different locations for our shoot and was so patient with us.That camera kept clicking, and I don't even want to know how many pictures he took... but less than 2 days later... he was able to show us a sneak peek of our pics. I remember some stories from my friends -- it took them FOREVER to see their wedding pictures!Thank you so much Henry! Photography is a hobby of mine so when it came down to wedding planning - we made finding a good Photographer a priority. After meeting with Henry, the decision was clear that he would be our Wedding Photographer. Henry's professionalism and responsiveness is TOP-NOTCH! Which to be honest, amazes me because this guy is BUSY! He has so many booked events - many back to back that I was always surprised on how quickly I'd receive a reply back. He is organized and takes the time to know his Bride & Groom and will remember details too. He's pretty talented. I was a pretty detailed and organized Bride/planner so, it was very important to me for vendors to respond quickly and accurately. When you are planning a wedding with a full-time job and business travel involved it is IMPORTANT that you get responses quickly so you can move on. Multi-tasking is critical for us! With Henry's professionalism, you can ensure that you are in good hands. He will provide his advice from a lot of experience and help you plan the timeline for your big day.My biggest advice to Brides & Grooms out there is to find Vendors that are experienced and professional. You will see after researching that it is pretty competitive in the wedding industry and there are A LOT of vendors to choose from. When it comes down to it, you will be SO thankful when you have chosen vendors of experience and professionalism. It really relieves a lot of stress and you know that they will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with no regrets.Lastly, Henry is patient and never pushy....personally, I don't like meeting vendors that feel like they are all about "business" and making money. Some will schmooze you and try to do the talk and dance and leave you feeling like you might have gotten jipped. Henry is so sincere. I know it's hard to believe that a vendor that is SO "professional" can also be sincere (haha) but, that's what Henry is. I had a moment and broke-down while getting ready on our wedding day and Henry knew exactly what to say and what to do to get my mind off of the "weepy/stressful moment" and back into smiles in a matter of seconds.I can't recommend Henry enough. These 5.0's don't seem high enough but, that's all it will allow me to put.

Henry is AWESOME. At first, I thought he would be out of my price range so I didn’t contact him but my fiancé really love his work so I decided to email him and he responded to me right away. After meeting with Henry, I feel extremely lucky to have met him. Unfortunately, he is unavailable on our wedding day. But like I said, we really like his work so we decided to use his service for our e-session. Henry is very nice, professional, artistic, organized and very easy to work with. Our photos came out absolutely amazing!!! He posted some of our photos on his blog and also tagged me on my Facebook. Everyone keeps asking me about our photos and I got so many compliments on them. Henry was an awesome photographer for our wedding. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Your photos will turn out great. He was very prompt in responding to our questions about his service. During both our engagement sessions and wedding, he was very professional and captured the photos that we wanted. He was extremely flexible during our wedding, considering that our ceremony and reception was a little unconventional. It was great knowing that he would take quality photos capturing all of the important moments at our wedding.

First off, I would like to say that I almost never give 5 star reviews for anything. That being said, every aspect of our interaction with Henry has been top notch! The photographer was one of the most important vendors to myself and my husband. We looked for months before we found Henry through a friend. During our initial meeting, we talked to Henry for a couple of hours about the wedding, our vision for it, our relationship and all the details of the packages we could create. Throughout the entire process Henry has been incredibly prompt in returning emails and phone calls! Henry was incredibly flexible on the details of the package we chose and even during our e-session, we were able to add an hour to the e-session and subtract an hour from the wedding day on the spot! All of our guests at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding could not stop complementing Henry and his second shooter Jared on their professionalism and ability to mingle with the guests while getting all of the important shots. On the big day, I could turn around whenever I wanted a specific picture and Henry was there to capture it. Henry truly loves what he does and it really shows! Henry becomes more of a friend that happens to be documenting your big day instead of an intrusive photographer that sticks out like a sore thumb. My best advice is to ask your guests and even other vendors (videographers, etc) to respect that you have hired a professional photographer and to please not block his way for the shots you want captured. If you want the vows and first kiss captured, make sure you don't have "uncle bob" standing in the way of the professionals! =) All I have left to say is that Henry is worth every penny! Book him early!!!

Henry was incredible! Not only did our pictures turn out amazing but the quality of time spent and attention to our wedding was appreciated on so many levels! He really took the time to answer questions I had and was so flexible with us on different things. My husband is a photographer so pictures were a BIG deal to him and Henry did not disappoint in any way. I would HIGHLY recommend him!

After the craziness of our incredible wedding day, I found myself worried because I realized I hadn't really posed for that many photos for Henry nor did I really pay attention to the photographers all night. In other words, I wasn't intentionally putting my best foot forward or striking my fiercest Next Top Model poses all night. But after seeing the photos Henry took, you would think me, my now husband and all of our guests were seasoned models. He captures movement, personality, beauty and every single important second of the wedding process without being invasive or too calculated. Upon first meet, Henry can seem a little shy. But don't be fooled! He is an absolute artist! And my recommendation is when he poses you for portraits- go with it- even if it feels awkward. He knows what he's doing and can see something more beautiful than you can, and you'll end up with more beautiful photographs than you could ever imagine. Everyone who's gone through the wedding process told me that the day goes by so quickly, and they were absolutely right. And in the end, you find yourself with videos and photos to remember the many moments that flew by. So choose your photographer wisely! I'm really glad we did!

I cannot say enough great things about Henry! I was introduced to him through another photographer who was unavailable on my wedding day and what a blessing it turned out to be! Henry Chen is a STUD of a photographer! From the moment we met him, we knew he was going to be the person responsible for capturing our day for us. Actually, my fiancé (now wife) already knew it, but Henry quickly convinced me during our initial meeting. My wife knew of Henry's work because he photographed one of her best friend's weddings about two years ago. Henry is organized, professional, and passionate about what he does, and it really did show during our initial meet. So the second we got home, we made the deposit and booked him for our date. I feared that if we didn't, he would be booked by someone else. He is that busy and in demand!ORGANIZED: Henry has an amazing website. He showcases it during your initial meet. He also has an incredible blog. He updates the blog with lightning speed after each of his shoots, whether it is an e-session or wedding. You see your pictures usually within 24 to 48 hours on his blog. We are pretty sure the excitement that all of his clients experience when seeing their pictures that quickly is undeniable. I know we were pretty stoked! Finally, you get a DVD of your raw pictures (all of them) within a week. When he has the time to do all of this is beyond me, but he does. There is no doubt that Henry is one organized fellow.PROFESSIONAL: Henry responds to emails, voice mails, and/or text messages very quickly. We tried not to harass him with a bunch of these modes of communication. Anytime we did have questions for him though, he was extremely prompt in answering them. We didn't go with other vendors precisely because of poor communication. If it took them too long to respond to an email or return a phone call, then that told us they weren't really that interested in working with us. Not only was his communication great, but he was always punctual and has great listening skills. You won't have to worry about him being late or forgetting even the smallest of details. One final point I want to make about his professionalism, is that even though it seemed like he was right there to capture every single picture we wanted, he was never really in the way either. It's kind of like a referee in soccer or an umpire in baseball. If the game is flowing and nobody notices the ref or ump, it usually means they are doing their job exceptionally well. Henry is the ultimate professional.PASSIONATE: Just read his blogs or follow him on Facebook and you will see what we mean about how passionate he is. Henry has such a great eye and captures you with the coolest backdrops, poses, and candids imaginable. He can really do it all, and we believe that is because he is truly passionate about what he does. We really got the sense that this wasn't just a job for Henry, but he really is excited to capture all the special moments of your day for you. For example, we went to 3 locations for our e-session. Our package initially had 2 hours for the e-session. We told him if hitting all 3 locations was not gonna happen, we were willing to pay for any additional hours. He said not to worry about it, and we can take away an hour from the wedding day or work something else out in regards to time. Anyway, we ended up taking 4 hours, and not once did we feel like he rushed us. Actually on our way from one stop to the other, he was the one who told us to hold on because he thought that a slate wall would make for a great backdrop at LA Live. Even though we thought we were done there, he still took the time to get those last few shots that maybe turned out to be some of the best at that location. You might think he wanted to make an extra 2 hours worth of work, but in the end he didn't even want to charge us for those 2 extra hours. He said that he had such a good time working with us, and that he didn't want to charge us. We told him that was way too cool and we at least wanted to pay for one hour. He accepted. Henry Chen's passion about what he does is incredible and shows through when you see the final product.If you have the chance and he is available, BOOK HIM FOR YOUR WEDDING!

We absolutely LOVED Henry Chen Photography! In fact, I would rate him above "5 stars" if I could. During the whole planning process, from our engagement session to the wedding day, Henry was truly amazing! The photos he captured were beyond beautiful and awesome! I can't even remember how I found about Henry as I had visited so many photography sites. I saw the work featured on his website and initially, I thought he would be out of my price range so I didn't want to contact him. Curiousity got the best of me and I decided to contact him anyway. We met up with Henry and he was the nicest guy ever. He had a special on his packages and we ended up re-working our budget to fit Henry in. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. First off, Henry is very prompt with his responses. He answers emails right away and always returns phone calls. I have never had to call or write him a second time due to failure to respond on his part. He contacted me about our engagement shoot right on schedule with the timeline we had previously discussed. I rescheduled the shoot I don't know how many times and Henry accommodated me each time without any complaints. My engagement pictures were amazing. I would use his photos as my profile picture on my Facebook page and I got so many compliments! Henry was professional in appearance and demeanor everytime I encountered him. He got the job done despite the circumstances. On my wedding day time was a major factor. Henry had to adjust to the time constraints and did so extremely well. I could tell there were additional shots he wanted to get, but unfortunatley my husband and I were pressed for time and were unable to oblige. Henry never complained. At the end of the night Henry was all packed up and ready to go, when I asked him if he could take one last photo of myself and my hostesses. He quickly unpacked his camera and took the photos for me and again, no complaints. Within 2-3 days I had pictures from my wedding day. Another day or two following that ALL of my images were available for review. My photos were absolutely amazing! Henry tagged me in some of my photos on Facebook and I got so many compliments on them! I feel as though he captured my wedding day perfectly! Now we are in the process and putting together the wedding album, which I know will be beautiful!!! I can't wait!!

He just wants what is best for his brides and grooms and goes the extra mile to give his all. He showed up early, stayed late and at times I completely forgot he was there. He caught everything!

After a not-so-great experience with our previous photographers, we were worried and stressed about photography. We contacted Henry who (only a month before the wedding) took us on with open arms. The second our e-session started, we were completely at ease with him. He never makes you feel uncomfortable or silly and really listens to the kind of photos you want to take. Henry works a mile a minute to get the best shot. There were times during the shoot where I thought, "Man, he didn't catch that cute moment" and then when we saw the pictures, he had! He captures everything.On our wedding day, I never had to worry about if he would show up on time ready to work. He was there early, before I even had the chance! He would set up shots but then let me and my husband do our thing. Our bridal party loved him and he allowed us to act like ourselves. He and his assistants were practically invisible all day, especially in the church. I never felt like he was intrusive in anyway. When my then fiance and I sat down to decide budget for our wedding, we agreed that the number one priority and where we would spare no cost, would be the photographer for our wedding. We wanted to find a photographer with a fresh eye, who could capture the emotion of the moment and we did not want the pictures to feel staged. We were honestly blessed to have found Henry Chen. Photography was something that was really important to us from the very beginning. We searched and met with a LOT of different photographers until we found Henry. And it was well worth the search! Henry is creative, talented, artistic, fun, flexible, and most importantly he LOVES photography and weddings. He has a good eye and makes you feel completely comfortable. He's also really good at getting back to emails and phone calls promptly. I remember emailing him to set up an appointment, and within half an hour he called me! We keep saying that he's going to need to start charging more because he's so awesome! We were unbelievably pleased with our wedding photographer, Henry Chen! We hired him when he had only shot about 7 weddings or so, and in the year preceding our wedding, he probably tripled that number! First, we had an amazing engagement session with Henry. He took so much time with us that day, even though we probably went over our allotted time for the shoot! Henry really cares about capturing you in great, creative shots. I searched high and low for photographers in Los Angeles, and Henry was probably the 7th one we interviewed. Photography was incredibly important to my fiance (now husband!) and me. First we would like to say that Henry is an extremely organized and professional photographer. We could not think of anyone we would have rather, document the most important day of our lives. We met a few days before the day of the wedding to sort out all the details and we were extremely impressed with how he carried himself and how he presented his services to us. He made it clear exactly what we could expect from him and he took to heart everything that we said. He paid really close attention to what we wanted to make our day special and he carried it out to a "T". We did let Henry know that we would require him for the whole day from about 7am until the end of the reception which meant around 11:00pm. He was very understanding of our Chinese culture and even though the day was crazy busy, not once did he let the stress show and he stayed a true professional until the end. When all was said and done, it only took Henry about two weeks to meet with us again and present us with a very nicely put together slideshow of the magical moments from that day. The picture quality was so much more than I could have expected and Henry even emailed me a link to it to share it with the guest from the wedding. It allowed me to see all the details and fun times that I had missed because I was being pulled so many different ways on my wedding day. He gave me a copy of the slideshow on a dvd and the negatives to all of the pictures he had taken. He even told us that if we wanted any other pictures retouched, to just contact him and he would be more than happy to help us with that. I thought that was a great gesture. In the end, I remember my wedding mainly from what I see in the pictures that Henry took. He captured all the important moments and was able to relay my whole day through the pictures. He used us as his main characters to tell our story through his lens. He is a wonderful person to work with and I will definitely need his services again when other friends or families have a special occasion.

The first thing I tackled when i started my wedding planning, was to find a photographer, because pictures last a lifetime, and I wanted to make sure I was able to get the best photographer. I spent a few weeks researching online and reviewing portfolios of a number of photographers. I wanted a distinct look in my photos, so I knew what I was looking for when I went through photographer's portfolios. I wanted someone who's photos were a bit "cutting-edge" and who knew how to work with light, shadow, textures, and color. When I came across Henry Chen Photography, I immediately fell in love with his work. It was everything I was looking for. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that I wanted him to document my wedding day. When we had our consultation meeting, as luck would have it, not only were his photos amazing, but Henry was just as amazing himself. My first impression of him was extremely friendly, down-to-earth, and very professional, and he kept to that the entire time I had been coordinating with him through the year of my planning. Oh! And he was able to meet our budget for photography, which was a big plus as well. A day or so after our first meeting, I booked him immediately. The pictures he took for our engagement session and our wedding came out fantastic. Reading his blog through the year, and seeing his work get better and better after each event he documents, has been a pleasure. It sort of heightens your suspense for when he actually documents your day, because it sure did that for me. I can go on and on about Henry Chen and his services, but that would take forever. Henry is an incredible photographer to work with. He was very flexible with us both at our engagement session and on our wedding day. I can tell you now that I am married, all the planning resulted in a wonderful day, but gone in what seemed liked a split second and all I have left are my memories and photos -- which is why I am writing. It may not seem all that important in the planning process but it will be what you most cherish after the wedding.

I was very specific about what I wanted in photography and in a photographer. I wanted someone who could capture the "moments" NOT "ok tilt your head and say cheese!" I wanted someone who could work with us and care rather than take a few photos and receive a check at the end of the day. My many late nights of research paid off! I found Henry Chen Photography! I have very high standards (just ask those I work with). Henry far exceeded by expectations. Henry listened to our suggestions and wants. While I thought he was a little quiet at first, I quickly learned that he was actively listening and soon put all of our ideas to action. He is very witty too! :) In addition, Henry made my life easier during planning; he always and quickly returned my phone calls and emails and even gave me great recommendations for other vendors. But all the genuine interest in us and helpfulness during planning put aside - YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT HENRY'S WORK! He displayed a filmstrip of photos he took of the wedding just before he left for the evening, I was so excited by his work I could not help but grab and hug him. Henry captured the happy, nervous, and funny moments.

Those that know me can tell you my recommendations are solid and I don't waste my time writing or blogging about others. So when I say I recommend Henry Chen Photography - that means something! In fact, he is the photographer of one of my best friends wedding coming up in the New Year. Their engagement photos look like they are right out of a magazine. In addition, Henry (though he doesn't know it yet) will photograph the family we plan to have (God willing) - he won't be leaving our lives! :)

Henry displays the utmost professionalism of all the vendors I booked. He was VERY prompt in responding to my questions/emails. At both the engagement and wedding sessions, he went beyond his timeframe just to capture the right moments. Don't be scared when you have to review hundreds of photos because he's not there just to snap a few but to give you ample of photos to remember the day by. He provides his customers with a sneak peak of the photos almost right away and is very flexible. Before photographing our wedding we met with Henry for an Engagement Shoot. He created an exceptional "Coffee Table" Guest Book for guests to sign at our wedding. I would highly recommend Henry as a photographer. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with the value for cost that we were given. I don't think we were given enough portrait shots to choose from. All I can say is USE Henry! You will not be disappointed. When I looked at Henry's website I thought there was no way I could afford him to photograph our wedding but he worked with us to meet our budget and provided incredible service and incredible photos. And he's got exceptional patience. In our group everyone had their own ideas of what should be done and how and Henry never once gave the impression of being frustrated or fed up! Everyone at the wedding raved about how nice he was and how great our photos turned out. And to top it off he sent us a link the next day to a sneak peak of some of his favorite photos from our event. and then I got a link to 300 photos about a week later if not sooner. Henry will deliver everything he promises and more!!

First we would like to say that Henry is an extremely organized and professional photographer. We could not think of anyone we would have rather, document the most important day of our lives. We met a few days before the day of the wedding to sort out all the details and we were extremely impressed with how he carried himself and how he presented his services to us. He made it clear exactly what we could expect from him and he took to heart everything that we said. He paid really close attention to what we wanted to make our day special and he carried it out to a "T". We did let Henry know that we would require him for the whole day from about 7am until the end of the reception which meant around 11:00pm. He was very understanding of our Chinese culture and even though the day was crazy busy, not once did he let the stress show and he stayed a true professional until the end. When all was said and done, it only took Henry about two weeks to meet with us again and present us with a very nicely put together slideshow of the magical moments from that day. The picture quality was so much more than I could have expected and Henry even emailed me a link to it to share it with the guest from the wedding. It allowed me to see all the details and fun times that I had missed because I was being pulled so many different ways on my wedding day. He gave me a copy of the slideshow on a dvd and the negatives to all of the pictures he had taken. He even told us that if we wanted any other pictures retouched, to just contact him and he would be more than happy to help us with that. I thought that was a great gesture. In the end, I remember my wedding mainly from what I see in the pictures that Henry took. He captured all the important moments and was able to relay my whole day through the pictures. He used us as his main characters to tell our story through his lens. He is a wonderful person to work with and I will definitely need his services again when other friends or families have a special occasion.

As a makeup artist it makes it a lot easier to work with a photographer. I have worked with Henry in the past and he is fantastic. He really captures what the couple is looking for in the engagement photos and their wedding! I highly recommend his services!
