Heritage Hill State Historical Park

The service was outstanding! I was in constant contact with the event coordinator and she was always able to answer any of my questions. The church is beautiful and we were both so happy we chose Heritage Hill for our ceremony!

Heritage Hill was totally beautiful for our fall wedding. We had our ceremony in the Moravian Church and everything went splendidly. The staff were very helpful and kept checking in beforehand to see if we needed anything. It was just amazing.

Heritage Hill did a great job for my wedding. They used a golf cart to help the older memberss of our family get down to the church and they made sure everyone got to where they needed to go. The staff they had available on my wedding day did a great job to assist us. I would recommend the venue to everyone, it was beautiful and the people were very helpful. Jackie even recognized me when I went back in to buy an ornament of the church for our first Christmas and that made my day.

Beautiful place to get married! When you put down your deposit find out all the costs from the vendors you will need to hire, we didn't and found out that caterers charge twice as much to be at Heritage Hill since there is only a select list that you can choose from. There are a lot of little costs that you will incur, but it was worth it for such a beautiful location.

My husband and I were married in the Moravian church this past October. Our experience was great. The church was the perfect setting for our nontraditional ceremony. Being able to wed in this church makes us feel as though we are part of a piece of Wisconsin history. Jackie was wonderful to work with, and Holly, who was there the day of, was wonderful as well. They served as wedding coordinators for the day of which really helped to keep things running smoothly.

The only complaint we had was the time limit on the church, both for the rehearsal and for the ceremony. We had no problem getting in and out, but it is unfortunate that you have to feel rushed on the most important day of your life. Also, for the rehearsal, the staff would not even let members of the party into the visitor's center to wait until our allotted time was set to begin. If they could be a bit more flexible on this aspect, they would get a 5.0!

I would recommend using the Moravian church for your wedding.

Heritage Hill was perfectly accommodating. They provided tables, seating, sound system, and a lovely setting for a wedding reception. Upon request, they even attempted to set up a television for that evening's Green Bay Packer game (it's important to my side of the family, and I thought it would be fun), but alas, that did not work out. All in all, I would strongly recommend Heritage Hill.

There are many options for most sizes of weddings... but not for a huge wedding. If there are over 130 people, then you have to rent your own tent and chairs which costs more money!

We couldn't have been happier with Heritage Hill. We had our ceremony in the church, while it was hot since the church has no air conditioning it was perfect. The people at Heritage Hill were accommodating and really worked with us. You are allowed only a few hours on park grounds the day of your wedding and they really stick to that. They do not allow you to stay past your time or you have to pay extra so make sure you have a timeline of the ceremony and on site pictures!!!

Heritage Hill has recently been remodeled and provided us a beatiful and unique background for our reception. We wanted something more than just a rectangular room - we had sky lights, windows all around over looking their 50 acre view, and a wrap around balcony. It was open and light, and provided us the perfect amount of room for our 100 dinner guests and 50-75 additional guests that came for cake, cocktails and dancing =) Very elegant. Not recommended for big weddings (200+). Service there by the staff were very pleasant as they had wonderful referrals for catering and help w/ other wedding details. I give them a 5 star. In my husband and I's opinion, we had the most beautiful of all the venues in the Green Bay area!

We had a pre-ceremony sandwich/lemonade snack as well as our outdoor ceremony at Heritage Hill State Park - We worked with Barbara Barnes. The outdoor ceremony was held near on the gazebo, and was fantastic. The venue provides golf-cart rides from the parking lot to the ceremony site , which was great for our guests who were all dressed up.

Barb also had great recommendations on an officiant as well as a horse/carriage vendor who not only gave us a carriage ride after the ceremony; but brought guests from their cars to the ceremony site.

Because the State Park is a Historical Park, ceremonies can only be held when the park is closed (our ceremony was at 4pm). As of 2006, the site did not have chairs for outdoor ceremonies, so we had to rent those seperately.

Just a note to thank you for your kindness in helping us plan our wedding. The day was perfect and we have received many compliments on how great everything was, starting with the rehearsal until the limo pulled out of the parking lot. Thank you for being flexible and answering our questions. Thanks again for making our day perfect.

Jackie does a great job with every little detail at Heritage Hill. We've done ceremonies in the church, receptions in the tent, and played both upstairs and downstairs in the hall. In all these facets, their professionalism, and attention to the client's needs is five-star. She is great to work with. It's a classy, relaxed facility with great charm. Great place to have a wedding ceremony, or smaller scaled reception.

I have been a Green Bay area DJ for over 10 years & have played at hundreds of locations, but Heritage Hill in my opinion is one of the classiest venues around.
