Marissa and the girls of Heyn Photography are incredible. We are so happy with our pictures. It was pouring rain on our wedding day and Marissa knew I had my heart set on taking pictures on the dock behind our venue, so she came prepared with clear umbrellas. They came out so cute that they almost made me happy that it rained on my wedding day! During the reception, they had edited photos from earlier in the day and had them playing on a TV screen at the back of the room. We had no idea they were going to do this, but our guests loved seeing them! I would recommend Heyn without any hesitation- they are truly wonderful!

One of the first vendors I booked after signing the contract on my venue was Heyn Photography! Their work is breath taking and I knew I didn't want anyone else to take my wedding pictures! At my wedding they surprised me by setting up a small flat screen tv with a slideshow of the pictures they had taken throughout the day! It was a highlight of my wedding for my guests! No one could believe how beautiful my pictures were! They kept making comments about how they looked like they were from a magazine! While I have only seen a few of my wedding pictures I already know I am going to have a very hard time choosing my wedding album because of how many beautiful pictures I will have to choose from! Choosing Heyn was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! I have already had several people ask me for their contact information and have happily passed it along! You can not go wrong with Heyn Photography!!

Our experience with Heyn photography was awesome. Marissa was always prompt and happy to answer any questions we had during the planning process and was very flexible with our schedules. She and her assistants were dedicated to making our day as stress-free as possible. The pictures turned out amazing and I would absolutely recommend Heyn Photography to my friends.

The day of our wedding was a rainy one. Marissa, Jackie & Rebecca were awesome. They kept me calm, we were able to take amazing photos outside even in the misty rain. I look like a movie star in these pictures! And that's all them!

Photography was one of the most important vendor decisions I wanted to make for our wedding. The day goes by so fast and I wanted to relive the day through our wedding pictures. After interviewing many photographers, I couldn’t find the perfect for us. I came across Heyn Photography. I saw their work online and it was exactly what I was looking for - a perfect mix or photojournalist, unique, magazine style photos and traditional wedding photography. I emailed them and Marissa called me back that day. She took the time to talk to me on the phone and answer all my questions and concerns – I instantly felt a connection with her. I met with her and John and saw their amazing work. Right away I felt so comfortable with them. They took the time to explain the timeline of the day for me and show me many albums. They knew all the perfect picture spots to go to and knew how to make it all happen in the limited time we had for photos. I knew my search was over and we booked them right away. The day of the wedding, they arrived promptly and made me feel so comfortable despite my extreme nerves. I ran behind on getting ready with hair and makeup but they kept the day moving and were able to get the amazing shots they needed and get us back on schedule. When we received our proofs – we were blown away by them. They are absolutely amazing. I am a hard critic and I have to say I am so happy we booked and found Heyn. When you begin to plan your wedding, everyone gives their recommendations on which vendors to choose and where to splurge versus save. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to choose an extra special photographer. When the party is over and day comes to an end, your photos are will be the most important tangible take away of this memorable event.

The second my husband and I had the opportunity to sit down with Marissa we knew Heyn was the perfect fit for our special day. From that very first meeting, we were blown away by her honesty, talent, and incredibly easy going personality. Each step of the way Marissa was flexible and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We had an unbelievable engagement photo session in Hoboken, which was our first taste of Heyn's amazing work. On our wedding day, Marissa and her team took charge in a very subtle and gracious way. She kept our party on time and treated us like we were her most important VIP client. During our reception she worked with our DJ to stream pictures of us getting ready and our ceremony on the plasma TV's - a huge hit with the guests. The best part was a few weeks after the wedding, when Marissa gave us almost 1,000 photos of our wedding day. To look through her photos and love each and every picture says something magical. Heyn was able to capture all the special moments of the wedding day - mom helping me into my dress, dad giving me wise words of advice before walking down the aisle, a first dance snapshot which we can't wait to enlarge for our home, and Gabe's excitement during the incredible Viennese hour. Marissa was so honest and patient in helping us make selections for our wedding album making sure we chose the best photos to tell the true story of our wedding day. We can't wait to receive our wedding album.

Heyn Photography was the absolute best investment we made for our wedding! The pictures they took are so beautiful. Our friends and family think the pictures are for the cover of magazines. We have a mix of traditional shots and fun, creative, romantic shots.

We are going to have a hard time choosing which pictures should go in our album because they are all so amazing. But one of the best parts of they Heyn packages is that you will get a CD of all your images! (Many photographers hold all of your pictures hostage, but not Heyn!)

On top of the amazingly beautiful work, the Heyn Photo crew is very professional, friendly, and fun.

I was running an hour behind schedule, and HP was there on time. They told me to relax because they'd seen worse! John Heyn told me at our first meeting that nothing new could happen at our wedding that he hadn't seen at another wedding. The team has a lot of experience, which turned out to be priceless the day of our wedding! Even though we were late, we still managed to get in a ton of house pictures before leaving for the church.

My husband, who doesn't usually love taking pictures, said he had so much fun taking all of our shots. We were able to build in time to go to the lake, the beach, and into town. (And by the way, HP knew the perfect spot on the beach..middle of July and no one was in our shots!)

By the end of the night, we felt like John, Marissa, and Cara were part of our family. It is so important that you like your photographer, because they will be with you for your entire wedding day. (12 hours!) We love them and recommend Heyn Photography to everyone!

There really aren't enough words to describe the unbelievable talent that the girls of Heyn Photography possess. We were in search of an amazing photographer, yet we not only got one, but three! Marissa, Jacqui and Cara are truly talented photographers, artists and now friends. I have people telling me they have never seen anything as spectacular as the work they have done. Our first meeting with Marissa turned out to be our final meeting with photographers. We were sold!!! We booked that night!! Everything turned out fantastic on my wedding day. I received the pictures back in no time (much quicker than normal)! I have picked out all of my pictures and am in the process of waiting to get them back!! They took sooo many unique shots it was soo hard to pick a certain amount of pictures! I would highly recommend them to EVERYONE!!

Heyn photography is the absolute BEST I have ever seen! Marissa was my primary photography with Jacqui second shooting and Cara assisting. All three of these ladies do EXCELLENT work. They are totally professional but also fun to work with. My shots are so artist and beautiful. For the engagement session Marissa and John shot us for almost two hours. My husband and I could not be happier with our interaction with them from start to finish and with the photographs we received. I plan on using them for professional photos in the future as well and can't wait. I have received awesome compliments on all of the work they have done. You will NOT be disappointed!

It was by chance that I found Heyn Photography and I couldn't be happier that I found them! There is nothing about Heyn Photography that was not perfect for my wedding. Marissa, my lead photographer, is one of the nicest and most talented people I have ever met. There is so little that I can say about the pictures she and her team took, as they are nothing less than perfection. When we first started searching for photographers, we had no idea what we wanted. We did not know a style or type of photographer we were looking for, but when we met Marissa and she showed us her variety of work, we knew exactly what we wanted- they do exceptional work!! We paid for their package that included two photographers...and three came to the wedding to help get all the great shots! We loved them!

Breathtaking! My husband and I opted to see each other before the wedding and take most of our pictures. During the wedding Heyn photography put up a digital picture frame (big one!) showing some of the shots taking before the wedding and WOW the responses we received. All throughout the wedding people constantly came up to us and told us how beautiful our pictures were. John is one of the most talented photographers and has a great eye for talent b/c everyone that works at Heyn Photography is great. John captures those perfect wedding moments and calms you down when you have those day of jitters! Marissa is also fabulous, as I should know b/c she is one of best friends! I was lucky to have her as one of my bridesmaids and she took some great shots too; even while in her bridesmaid dress. All together the experience from the first meeting untill the last was pleasurable. However, I do feel their pictures speak for themselves which is why I recommending "stalking" their blog!

I met the girls of Heyn Photography at my friend Kristin's wedding. When I saw their work on a slideshow and had the chance to meet the girls at the end of the night, I just knew I had to have them shoot my wedding. They are extremely professional and very detail oriented, and extremely flexible. They know that they have such an important job, capturing the best moments of each Bride's wedding day - and they take their job very seriously. Not only are they very skilled at photography, they get involved and like to have fun, and they take risks with their photography that result in amazing shots - some of which are works of art! They will take whatever shots you want, and know just about every venue around and know which backdrops to use to get the most amazing pictures. I have kept in touch with Marissa Levin, who was the lead photographer at my wedding, and we have remained friends. Heyn Photography has shot other friends' weddings too and their work is just amazing. I am so glad that I had the chance to work with them and would highly recommend them. In fact, I know I will be using Heyn as our family grows when we want to capture pictures of our children and other special events in our lives.

A little expensive but worth the cost!

Everyone who has seen our wedding photos has commented about how great they are, they've never seen anything like them, and that's only the proofs!! We would highly, highly recommend working with these photographers. Their skill and artistry is AMAZING!

Everyone at Heyn is absolutely professional and easy to work with. We met Vanessa & Marissa at a bridal show, and after sitting down and meeting with them, we knew they were for us. Their easy-going manner and photojournalistic style was perfect for us. The photo packages and payment plan were nice and easy to work with.

The day of the wedding Vanessa, Marissa, and Cara ran the show. They had things under control whether dealing with me realizing that the blusher was never attached to my veil, tearing my wedding dress walking through the back door of the church, bridesmaids that didn't want to have their pictures taken, or no one knowing how to bustle my dress, they knew what to do. Timing went as smoothly as any wedding can, and they made me feel like a princess. The pictures look like they belong in a magazine and maybe one day soon they might.

We are currently trying to choose which of the amazing pictures we want to have in our album and will update when the project is completed.
