Ah! Hidden Chateau!

We searched high and low for the perfect outdoor venue for our wedding, and we're so glad to have found the Hidden Chateau. You would think a location like this would be more common, but I would say this place is one in a million.

The owner, Jill, was extremely helpful and genuine. You can tell she makes every effort possible to maintain a high quality venue. Jeff, the events coordinator was very attentive, and does his best to address our questions and needs. Carol, an on site coordinator was a lifesaver. The coordinator we orginally hired bailed on us, and Carol was there to pull everything together so we didn't have to worry about a thing. They really work with you to make sure you don't have to stress out about your wedding day.

You can find a garden anywhere to have a wedding, but this is the kind of staff that makes the Hidden Chateau unique.

One great thing about this place is that we needed to add minimal decoration. You'll already have a garden, lighted gazebos, and fountains. What more do you need? If you want a low key, intimate venue, I highly, highly, extremely suggest heading over and giving this place a look.

If we are ever in need of a venue for a special occasion again, we would definately put this place on the top of our list.

My name is Ramon. My now wife,Tawnya, and I were wed at the Hidden Chateau on October 2, 2010. Our day wouldn't have been so perfect had it not been for Jeff's attention to detail and desire to make our event special, and special it was. The garden looked great and the catering staff was phenomenal. Thanks to Jeff and Jill we have a wonderful memory of a day that we will never forget.

I would like to share with everyone and anyone who is considering having their event at the Hidden Chateau, what an awesome experience we had and how much we appreciate the work everyone put into our wedding.

We admired all the hard work and attentiveness the staff there at the Hidden Chateau paid to our day.

Hidden Chateau is a beautiful wedding site. The Special Events Manager Jeff Buuck was knowledgable, attentive and responsible. Although it is next to a major street, the traffic noise is not noticable. The sound system however is very basic - not very clear. You should bring your own (or have your DJ bring his/her own). Our musician plugged his amp into the system (as did our DJ with laptop) and both were a bit muffled. The preferred caterer for this site is Command Performance (which my husband and I coincidentaly taste-tested before visiting hidden Chateau)(we liked them!) so take note that you will pay an extra fee if you use an outside caterer. Hidden Chateau will provide free valet when you have a certain number of guests (over a certain number). Remember that the Valey gets hot! We were blessed with a relatively cool September weekend. As a precaution, we provided guests with parasols, and the programs doubled as fans. :]

My husband and I got married on June 26, 2010 at the Hidden Chateau (I know, this review is a bit late :-P) and it could not have been a more perfect night! Our number of 100 was a perfect size for the space.

Jeff, the event coordinator was attentive and did his best to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. He was easy to contact and always returned calls and/or responded to email cordially and professionally.

The garden is gorgeous... my husband and I asked Jeff to add some more lights (x-mas tree string lights), some hanging, some around the tree trunks, and it really made the garden look amazing at night. There is a new speaker system (although our DJ still wanted to bring another speaker or two) and if you are planning on having dancing, I would spring for the larger dance floor that wraps around the palm trees... it covers the entire DG area and gives it a clean and sophisticated, yet fun look that you wouldn't get with a smaller dance floor (because the dirt colored DG would show). We did have to get a fire permit for using candles in our centerpieces, but it wasn't a hassle.

Downside, was that dance music had to be off and catering starts cleaning up by 10:00 so that's pretty much when the night ends. It is a soft ending though... they don't kick you out if it's 10:15 and you haven't left yet, but they expect that everyone starts saying their goodbyes and begin heading out around 10:00.

Command Performace Catering, their catering partner was amazing! Tina, their Hidden Chateau coordinator, was wonderful and genuinely wanted to help us. She was professional, friendly, and always positive and honest. She was at our wedding and was the one who fluffed out my train for the walk down the aisle. The food and the service were wonderful as well; they are truly a class act.

We couldn't have picked a more beautiful place for a wedding. Jill and Jeff are very nice and helpful. The gardens are beautiful with all the flowers, fountains and trees. The lighted gazebos add a special touch. They provide all the tables and chairs, umbrellas if needed, beautiful rooms for dressing, valet parking ect. Everything was perfect and the day was flawless.

Jill and Jeff are so easy to work with and make a stressful time painless. I would highly recommend the Hidden Chateau for a wedding or any occastion. You won't be disappointed.

As a bride, of course I wanted my wedding to be perfect. Part of that was having a beautiful, comfortable, private outdoor venue, and that's exactly what I got at the Hidden Chateau. We had 125 guests, and it was a great fit. Since the ceremony takes place in the same area as the reception, it was still remarkably well-organized, as far as getting tables set up, etc. Following the ceremony and while we took pictures, our guests could gather away from that in the shade for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. It was much hotter than expected that day, and umbrellas were provided for guests during the ceremony as well as the reception.

We had a truly perfect day, many thanks in part to the staff of this lovely venue.

Wonderful place! We had our wedding here and the pictures came out absolutely gorgeous. It's gorgeous and romantic. This is a former horse stable turned mission, complete with arches, cobble stone paths, with rustic/vintage/antique decor, a very romantic atmosphere. We had our wedding here. The owners are very friendly and personal. The boutique inside is beautiful.

My wife and I were married here at the Hidden Chateau, and were amazed at the staff, and the gorgeous layout of the facility. Jill was easy to work with, and always had a smile on her face. The garden was in bloom and very well manicured, and it was set up to exactly as we imagined our dream wedding would be. I would recommend the Hidden Chateau to everyone who is getting married, renewing vows, or whatever brings you there.
