Hillview Country Club

We had a wonderful experience at the Hillview Country Club! Lisa was wonderful and answered my many,many questions from before we booked with them right up until the wedding. Burton Paige was also wonderful to work with. I had a lot of little details I wanted incorporated and they did everything I asked. We had originally booked our wedding at another Country Club that went bankrupt. What started out as a disaster turned into one of the best things that could have happened. We've heard from mulitple guests (176 attended) that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and the best wedding food they've ever had. If we were to go back and do it again we'd still book with the Hillview! Everything was perfect!

Burton, Lisa, Amy, and Marlena at the Hillview Country club all had a hand in making our very special day run smoothly. First-time brides have a lot of questions(!), and my emails and phonecalls were always answered promptly and politely by Lisa. When our taste-testing didn't go as planned, Burton was eager to please and scheduled another tasting, with very special service. Marlena took amazing care of my new husband and I, from providing us with drinks on the golf course during pictures, to making sure she saved us some appetizers so we could experience what our guests had eaten during cocktail hour. I couldn't have asked for a better day-of coordinator than Amy. Her organized and "in charge" presence put me instantly at ease. Also, she executed my wedding details perfectly--from assembling my centerpieces "just right" to helping the bridal party with corsages to making sure my little kitty figurines were on top of my wedding cake! The Hillview was a wonderful venue for both my ceremony and reception, and my guests can't stop talking about it!
Two things that initially bothered me, but turned out not to make much of a difference on the day of: 1)Outdoor pictures are limited to the Gazebo, the deck, and a small section of the green...it would have been nice to do a little more exploring on the grounds for interesting photos. 2)I had hoped to have some outdoor seating (tables and chairs) on the deck for my smoking guests (and those who may want to escape the music for some fresh air), but the venue did not cooperate.

The Hillview was a great place for our reception! Everyone loved the place... it is so beautiful! Burt and Lisa were so helpful with everything! The food was delicious too. I would also highly recommend Nicole as your Matyr D she was amazing! I have been in a lot of weddings and never had a wedding run so smoothly. I would highly recommend anyone to use the Hillview as there vendor for their reception!

The Hillview Country Club was so beautiful!!! They have an excellent team of people working there. THey were there with me every step of the way and was always there to answer my many phone calls and showed their passion in what they do! I got so many compliments from my guests on what a beautiful reception hall!! The wedding coordinator made sure everything was perfect for my day. Our son is 2 years old and he became so sleepy and was falling asleep in my husbands arms...well, we realized that we had forgotten our carriage at home so, the wedding coordinator at the Hillview had her child's carriage in the car and let us borrow her's to let our son go to sleep in!! The food was really good too!! For such a great place all around it was very affordable. I highly recommend this reception hall. (You can also have your ceremony here too)
