Momentus Films

Momentus Films was WONDERFUL to work with! They made us feel really comfortable as soon as we met for our pre-interview (actually, even before we met we felt we got to know Celia through our email exchanges). Celia and Danny spent a lot of time making sure everything was perfect with the sound/lighting/angles/etc. and they were so easy-going. It was obvious they care very much about putting out a quality product and making their customers happy. For those of you worried about them "following you around" and being "attached to your hip," it wasn't like that at all! They were really unobtrusive, but if I got worried and looked to see if they were catching something important, they were always there! They came highly recommended, but were less expensive than other equally praised options; when you're planning a wedding, less expensive is always a "plus" as long as less expensive doesn't mean "lesser quality." Momentus was definitely not "lesser" from our point of view!

Any Bride reading this should know that we almost decided NOT to have a videographer, but now we are SOOOOOO glad we did!!!! The photographer (as AMAZING as ours was) simply COULDN'T be everywhere at once, so it was comforting to know we could rely on Momentus to catch the moments the photographer missed.

Additionally, although our still pictures are GORGEOUS, they just aren't the same as being able to HEAR the words that were shared between myself and my new husband on that day; seeing the pictures of me and "my girls" giggling and having a great time doesn't help me remember WHAT we were enjoying so much at that moment. Pictures are SO very important, but pictures alone don't give you the ability to really relive the moments. I can look at my pictures and think, "Oh, those two people really love one another - look at the way they're looking at one another; they look so happy; what a beautiful wedding; it looks like that wedding was a lot of fun; isn't that a gorgeous tablescape; what a good-looking bride and groom; wow, the decor is fabulous at that wedding;" and on and on and on, but it doesn't necessarily give me the FEELING that I am looking at MY OWN wedding and talking about US. It's like looking at a photo or painting that really "moves" you, but isn't you. I feel a little "removed" from it all, no matter how beautiful the pictures are. It's as if I can feel what the girl in the pictures is feeling, but it doesn't really register that that girl is ME. Video is different. That's the only way I know how to describe it.

Everything about your wedding day will go by so fast you'll think it was a dream (no matter how hard you TRY to "savor every moment.") Having a beautiful video of the day is really the only way I can think of to experience the things you missed because you were too rushed or too excited or too caught-up in all the wonderment...and even the things you missed because you actually weren't there when they happened (i.e. what your husband-to-be was doing while you were getting ready, what the guests were doing while you were taking pictures after the ceremony, etc.)

To sum it up: get videography, and make it the sweet and wonderful crew at Momentus!

We LOVED working with Celia and Daniel at Momentus Films. The experience was beyond our expectations and we can not thank them enough for creating a lasting memory for us. They documented all the important moments before the wedding such as the tux fittings, dress appointments, and even interviewed our families to add special moments to our video. They went above and beyond all of our expectations. We would not thank them enough for the services provided and would recommend them to anyone considering a wedding videographer. Celia and Daniel helped make our wedding day extra special and have created a lasting memory for us and our family to cherish forever.

Celia and her team absolutely blew us away!! They captured the best day of our lives in such a beautiful and amazing way that I have no words to describe it, except WOW! So far, we've only seen our Wedding Preview, which brings happy tears to my eyes each time I watch it. Since we had a destination wedding, there were several special people to us that couldn't make the trip, so this video was very important to us. We couldn't be more thrilled with the special memories they've helped us preserve forever. I cannot wait to see the final wedding video, because I'm sure Celia will out-do herself once again. Momentus Films should definitely be on your short list for "must hire for a Florida wedding (or anything else that can be filmed)!"

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Celia and her partner. They were both very professional yet very personable. I felt like they were part of the family. Very kind and supportive. Celia made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She played a big part in making my wedding day very special and unforgettable. I juist love her!!

Hilton Heads Productions were wonderful ! I could not have asked for a better crew to film my wedding. The video they produced was amazing and everything we ever wanted and more ! Not only were they there to film our wedding but they were there for me throughout the entire wedding and planning process. I highly recommend them!!!! :)

Working with Momentus Films was one of the best experiences throughout my entire wedding process! They were so much fun to work with yet very professional! Celia captured all the candid moments in our wedding. She was there and caught EVERYTHING! She also complied a highlight video and it was the best video ever, we watched it repeatedly :) We are so thankful Celia was there to capture everything for us since we were busy with everything else!

Cellia and the Hilton Heads Productions are an amazing team of people. They were professional, punctual, polite, kind, friendly and extremely pleasant to work with. They had several cameramen at our our wedding (way more than we expected) to assure that not a moment of our special day would be missed. The product they delivered at the end left us speechless! Our videos were beautiful, touching, emotional, funny, creative - simply timeless. We couldn't have wished for a better way to have our Big Day captured. Celia of Hilton Heads Productions was pefect and I recommend her whole-heartedly. My husband and I just got our movies and watching them together was a tremendous emotional experience. Celia has great interpersonal skills and a talent for working with photographers and wedding family/friends without being obtrusive. Celia is enthusiastic about tailoring the movies to suit the couple's needs, wants, and tastes. For example, the music in the film was very important to us, and Celia took our inputs readily. She found the music I named so it was effortless for me. She offered to have a "work day" with us to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. We aslo customized our package to get all the raw footage taken that day on a hard drive. She has a great "eye" for editing. Best, she truly cares and is passionate about her work. I can't say enough about Celia and Hilton Heads!

WONDERFUL to work with! I used Hilton Heads Productions for my beach wedding in May of 2010. Celia and her team were so helpful throughout the process! They gave me everything I wanted and wayyy more! She created a 6 minute highlight video of my ceremony and reception that I was able to post on my facebook page and share with everyone! Considering how chaotic the day of the wedding was, my husband and I are so grateful that she caught every important moment on film and we can go back and relive those moments that passed so quickly! We would recommend Hilton Heads any day!In fact, my Maid of Honor is using her in just a couple of months for her wedding as well!

Can a videographer be any sweeter and personable than Celia??? I would find it very hard to believe its possible. We absolutely love Celia. Its hard to find an emotional attraction to someone you meet over the phone for a business transaction, but that wasn't the case with Celia. Her personality just radiates through everything. Celia and her team are true professionals and just outstanding with their work. She was a blast to work with and have zero complaints about the service provided. Her work draws you in and she captivates you with her passion for capturing the magic of your moments with her cameras. WOW is all I can say about how impressed and satisfied we were with working Celia and her team. It truly does not get any better. Hilton Head Productions was a great choice for wedding videography. Celia is very flexible and listens to the bride's wishes. We asked for unobtrusive recording and our guests barely noticed the presence of filming. We also had flexibility in customizing the package to our needs. The final product was creative an well executed. I highly recommend this vendor!
