Historic Hilton Hotel

Overall, the downtown Ft. Worth Hilton was an excellent choice for our reception. I did have a little difficulty getting in touch time to time with my contact at the Hilton for some planning communication prior to the event and had to express my displeasure, politely, at one point - and the issue was appropriately handled. Other than that minor frustration, the experience was great. Our reception came together beautifully with great tablecloths, chairs, dance floor, and table decorations handled by the Hilton. Not to mention, in comparison to other hotels with comparable prices and accomodations, their ballrooms are gorgeous. The overhead lights are beautiful and create a much more elegant atmosphere than many other hotel "ballrooms" that seem to be much more suited to boring company meetings.
We also had the Hilton cater the reception and the chef was very gracious to meet with us on a Sunday to do tastings. My now husband is a chef and wanted to customize a menu, and the chef at the Hilton worked with us to come up with a beautiful meal that was absolutely delicious.
Also, the process of blocking off and reserving rooms for guests for our party was made very simple and the suite reserved for us was wonderful! Overall, a very good experience.

The Hilton downtown was awesome, espically Amber Cornelius, Catering Manager. The food was fantastic and all the staff was wonderful.

Everything looked beautiful. Went out of the way to help us with things in which they were not responsible.
