We worked with Angie Wise from Putting on the Ritz to book the Savage Mill Great Room for our reception. The room is absolutely stunning. It's very large, accomodates about 200 guest comfortably with the dance floor right in the middle. The room is white and open with old windows looking out onto the stream. There is an ajoining deck which our smoker friends appreciated as well.
The great thing about booking the Great Room is that if you guests want to peruse around the mall they can do just that. They aren't stuck in their seat all night. The room had PLENTY of room for all of our setups with cake, buffetts, bars, and even room for a photo booth.

The Great Room at Savage Mill was one of the very first venues I checked out for our wedding reception and right away I knew it was "the place"! It has such a special feel and is so perfect with the large deck and the beautiful scenery right outside the windows. Having our reception here made our wedding day just perfect. I couldn't have imagined a better venue!

We had our wedding in The Great Room at Savage Mill. Not only was the room beautiful the entire reception planning process was wonderful. Angie, the coordinator of the Great Room was always available to meet us or talk to us whenever we needed help or had a quick question. She was wonderful. One the actual wedding day the staff set up the room just as I had hoped. It looked fabulous. The room has wonderful lighting and character. The entire staff worked hard at making the night perfect. The food was delicious and plentiful and if any guest needed anything they were quickly assisted! Overall, great experience and would highly recommend using this room for your wedding
