Steve Hoffmann is an amazing photographer! He's professional, yet laid-back at the same time. He always returned our phone calls and emails promptly and had a great attitude! All of our friends and family raved about our engagement and wedding photos and of course, we will treasure them forever! We highly recommend him!!!

This review has been long overdue! (Sorry Hoffmann!!!) I've been meaning to write this a lot earlier. :) I got married back in July and my best friend recommended me Hoffmann since I told her the photographer I was originally interested never got back to me. Thank god she recommended him because I absolutely fell in love with his style. He's a pro, very easy to work with and most important of them all, responds ASAP! Steve Hoffmann is an incredible photographer. He is probably one of the best in Orange County. Although he wasn't available for my date, several friends of mine have used him and raved about his work. I have seen their pictures and he has an amazing eye.

I think a lot has to do with how many diifferent cameras he shoots with at one time. He will shoot the same shot with 3 or 4 cameras, each one with a little differnt angle or format. It gives you an wide selection of angles and styles to choose from.

Hoffmann photographer was wonderful to work with!! I would recommend Hoffmann Photographer to anyone that is getting married or has an event they want photographed!! The pictures turn out incredible! When we were looking for a photographer, we didn't know where to begin. Hoffman was actually the 4th photographer we had interviewed and right away we knew we wanted him to be our photographer. He was very easy to work with and very flexible. On our wedding day, we had a tea ceremony in the morning, then our church ceremony in the afternoon and our reception at night. I don't remember seeing much of Hoffman throughout the day but when we saw our pictures, he had captured every memorable moment for us. That tells us that he was there the whole time but didn't make it seem like he was in the way. I would recommend Hoffman to any couple out there!! We had tons of compliments when we got our wedding pictures back!

Hoffmann is awesome! So flexible and easy to work with. Although my husband and I are fairly shy in front of the camera (surprising, since we're not really shy people!!), our photography experience was easy and relaxed! We loved our photos!! He chose great shots. He's also been so great at waiting patiently as I choose the photos we want in our wedding album! (They are the best albums I've ever seen in my life... and that's not an exaggeration!!) I highly recommend him... Not only is he a creative genius when it comes to photos, he is such a nice person to work with!!

Friends of our used Hoffmann Photography at their wedding and they were more than please. As a guest, it was quite noticeable that they take there events very seriously. We even saw them wearing mics and earpieces to help coordinate their positions while taking shots. Hoffmann's work is phenomenal! We hired him to do both our engagement and wedding shots, and he went above and beyond anything we’d expected!!! We loved his wonderful suggestions and unobtrusive work style. The day of the wedding, Hoffmann and his assistant showed up early with mentionable patience. With a wedding party of 20 people and over 180 family and friends to work around, he was able to capture the most important memories of the night. He has an incredible way with people and somehow managed to get everyone to cooperate throughout the day (and well into the night).

After the wedding,I expected to wait weeks for the final discs to be delivered. As a new bride you can only imagine my excitement to have them within a few days! The only problem was going through quite literally thousands of pictures! They were all so wonderful it was nearly impossible to choose which ones to have printed for us and family.

All the great things everyone said about Hoffman are true. But in addition to taking spectacular pictures (which, he does), he is also timely about getting back to clients, setting appointments and keeping them, being accurate and consistent with our contracts and paperwork, getting proofs back quickly, and getting our album to us (better than we anticipated - we joke that it's our modeling portfolio - HA!) shortly after our wedding. I can't tell you how many friends I have that had beautiful pictures, but whose wedding photographers had no follow through. I also think it's important to add that when you're talking about someone who is interacting with your family, friends, coworkers, etc., on your very important day, you want someone who will dress and act appropriately. At a friend's wedding, the photographer showed up in a tank top and cussed loudly in front of elderly guests. Hoffman BLENDS. He was fantastic in every way - we have in the past, and continue, to recommend him.

Steve Hoffmann did an amazing job with my wedding photography. He was so easy to work with and extremely flexible. That is one thing a lot of photographers are not and Steve never put any time restraints on the wedding day nor the engagement photos. I am so thankful that Steve Hoffmann was my wedding photographer. The photos he took at my wedding did more than capture the moment - they captured the feeling of what it was to be in that moment. This is going to seem like a strange review because my fiancee and I did not hire Hoffman as our photographer. However, I had such a terrific experience corresponding and working with Hoffman that I really wanted to let others know about him.

When my fiancee and I chose our wedding venue (Walnut Grove Weddings) we asked our contact if she could recommend any photographers. She recommended a few and we began contacting them. At the same time, I asked a photographer friend (who works at a store that develops photos) from college if he could recommend anyone. He strongly recommended Hoffman as someone who does outstanding work. I looked through Hoffman's portfolio and I could definitely see that was the case.

I decided to contact Hoffman and I must admit it was a complete pleasure to work with him. He responded promptly with all the information I needed. He answered my questions with an expertise that showed his professionalism, but also with an energy and joy that alluded to how much fun it would be to work with him.

As I corresponded with a local photographer who lived closer to our wedding venue, I found myself really struggling about what to do. I was excited about Hoffman, but I also received a great offer from our local photographer. I told Hoffman about the offer I had received and the photographer I was contacting. I was extremely surprised when Hoffman complimented the work of the other photographer, and said that I would get great photos with him as well. This is a kind of professionalism that you seldom see, and I was very impressed. Hoffman then added a terrific offer of his own. I was blown away!

My fiancee and I weighed our options, and in the end decided to go with the local photographer. The decision was a very difficult one, because both photographers had terrific portfolio's and offered great packages. I encourage all of you to contact Hoffman. I met Hoffmann when he did the engagement photo shoot for my sister at Disneyland. The photos were stunning for such a busy environment. I then saw the photos and album from my sister's wedding and they truly were amazing.

When it came time for my wife and I to select a photographer for our wedding I had no difficulty at all with making this decision. Without hesitation we visited Hoffmann and went through the packages offered. This is where you should remember with professional services you get what you pay for. And the photos and album we got in the end product were gorgeous. There is no bickering or pushy attitude when it comes to the album. We were able to preview the album and change the number of photos or layout. Hoffmann was very patient with us.

Now speaking of service on our wedding day: professional to a high degree. He showed up on time and with a character that this was our day. The style of the photos are amazing - the angles, lighting, and juxtaposition of objects are natural and beautiful. There was no rushing to get a shot. Even when my groomsmen had my wife and I in the air he was able to get amazing shots that I truly will cherish.

It always feels good to make a recommendation that you know is of good/great quality work and Hoffmann is one of those that you mention first when asked.

Where do I even begin? If you are looking for THE BEST- well look no further! I waited 8 years to get married to the man of my dreams so there was no doubt - I only wanted the BEST of everything for my wedding. My husband and I got married in Laguna Beach but live out of the area so it was very important who I chose as my photographer. I wanted someone who was passioanate about what they did and I didn't want typical wedding photos. I didn't want photo's- I wanted ART. I wanted someone who could capture the moments that you want to remember for a lifetime. Hoffmann was all of these things and more. Not only was he on time and understood our schedule for our special day- he worked tirelessly in the heat and captured moments that I couldn't even have dreamt of. He had tremendous ideas and there was never a moment where we didn't know what to do. He was so patient and so genuinely sweet. His dedication to his craft is unsurpassed. Hoffmann is truly amazing and has a pheomenal gift. You really do get what you pay for and I am so thrilled we chose Hoffmann on our special day. Everyone who has seen our wedding photo's cannot believe what an outstanding job he did. All of our pictures were a work of art and I can't thank you enough. I have known Hoffman for years and have always admired his photography. I never believed he would actually be my own wedding photographer. We were thrilled to have Hoffman photograph our wedding.
The day was beautiful and we have amazing photos to show for it. We got married on a boat in the Newport Harbor in Newport Beach, CA. The weather was beautiful and the pictures captured so many special moments of our day. Following the ceremony, we drove down to Victoria Beach in Laguna Beach to take some additional pictures. Some of these photos turned out to be our favorites. The castle-like structure on the beach was incredible to photograph next to. As the tide came in, my new husband and I had to time the tide and run across the beach before the waves came in. Hoffman stood on the other side and captured the most candid and amazing photos of us running from the water. We get so many compliments on these photos.
These are memories that we will never forget and can look at anytime to remind us of our incredible wedding day.

Steve Hoffmann was an amazing photographer for our wedding. From the first meeting we felt very comfortable and knew that he would be able to capture all the little details and then some of our special day. Our engagement session was unreal! I had never done anything like that before and my husband and I had such a fantastic time! When I look at those photos hanging on our walls at home, I remember exactly how great that day was. The wedding phots, there are no words to explain how beautiful they all were. We had a hard time picking our favorites because they were all perfect! I had been searching for a photographer for months and I kept coming back to Steve Hoffman's website because his photography was simply unparalleled. He took a day to fly up to our home in S.F. to take our engagement photos and despite the rain we had an excellent experience with many phenomenal images from different locations. At the wedding he was unobtrusive yet captured all of the major moments. The infrared images were a unique style that Hoffmann offered that made for some truly wonderful photos. All of our friends still comment how beautiful our album turned out. Hoffmann is a true professional and a joy to work with.

Hoffman made our engagement photo shoot into an easy experience. It took us a bit to get comfortable, but he simply asked us to be ourselves. All of our pictures came out excellent because they look natural. I'm sure most people are happy with their pictures when they first receive them. However, it is truly a sign of excellent photography when you can look at them again 9 months later and say "Wow, these are really great photos." Hoffmann's laid back personalty made us feel at ease and that led to some great photos. His use of background and setting is truly amazing. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Steve Hoffmann was wondeful on our wedding day! He and his second shooter for the day were professional and very easy to work with. My husband and I had a whole day wedding event, and Steve stayed postive the entire day. We were very pleased with the photos and still get compliments to this day, even though our wedding was almost two years ago. Our wedding album totally rocked - he listened to our ideas and was able to incorporate them with great detail. From our engagement pictures to our wedding pictures, we were totally impressed with Steve Hoffmann. Very professional and fun to work with, we really enjoyed having him be a part of our wedding!! Hoffman was great. He has a photojournalistic style that we really liked. He was also willing to listen to what we wanted and found poses for more formal pictures that departed from the photojournalistic style. Everything from the engagement session to the wedding day photos were great. Coverage at our wedding was amazing, there were so many cameras, we felt like stars being flashed by the paparazzi!

After much research we found steve by seeing his work online. We visited him and we and saw his wonderful work and knew he was someone that would not take the posed picture unless we wanted he caught the emotion of the wedding and the picture in every shot. He was very easy going and never bossy with people and not really noticed. We were blown away with the pictures and book is a family treasure that we all look at every year. We are taken right back to the beautiful day by his pictures. You do not need to look any further for a great photographer.

Hoffmann did such an amazing job photographing our wedding! He worked non-stop to make sure every moment of our wedding day was captured, without causing the slightest interference to the day. Hoffmann captured us and our background setting in a way that was truly breathtaking. He is extremely creative and artistic so every picture makes you say, "Wow!" I got tons of compliments on our pictures, and there are so many that I love that I can barely narrow it down to 90 favorites for our album. We chose Hoffman Photography to do our engagement and wedding photography and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Hoffman showed the clearest attention to detail and made the whole picture taking experience fun and easy for the two of us and all of our family and friends. From the engagement shoot to the bridal shoot to the full day wedding ceremony and reception coverage, we couldn't be happier with results. Working with Hoffman during the engagement shoot and on my wedding day was wonderful. Before the engagement photo shoot I was a bit nervous, but Hoffman worked with our ideas and photos came out beautiful. I was even able to make a photo collage from the engagement shoot and include it in our wedding invitations. I was also able to decorate the reception with the photos, which really tied in the whole theme. I received so many compliments from them. Since the engagement shoot, three guests have requested his name and number to have them take their family portraits. Hoffman is also really great about getting the photos to the individuals quickly and during the wedding preparations every email and phone call was returned that very same day. As far as the wedding is concerned, Hoffman was completely flexible with pictures that I wanted. He traveled to three different locations: where I got ready, the chapel, and the reception. He captured my day in every stage of getting ready and was able to capture very intimate moment of the bridesmaids, my father, and me. I was completely amazed at all the details he captured of the chapel decorations and flowers, my husband’s expressions and my expressions during the ceremony, and all over our guests. (I hardly noticed any decorations or people’s faces because I was so focused on my husband, so it was nice to have them captured on film to look back on.) The pictures themselves are so special because they communicate through Hoffman's photography the precious day I experienced. I can see and identify how each picture, portrait, or shot says how special, significant, and monumentus that day was to my husband and me. I had no idea that the photos would hold so much detail that displayed the most important decision I made in my life and basically tell a beautiful story. One of my favorite parts of Hoffman's photography was his attentiveness to detail and the whole ability to capture the theme of the wedding. I have wonderful pictures of the different decorations that will look great in a photo book. The last thing that Hoffman captured that I am so very thankful for is the faces of my guest interacting and having a wonderful time. Some of my guests have requested the pictures of themselves at the wedding because they look so beautiful. :-)

Steve is the best! From the moment I interviewed him for our wedding, I knew my wedding pictures (and rehearsal pictures) were in good hands!Throughout the planning process, Steve was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. He even went out of his way to recommend what turned out to be amazing vendors when we asked him for advice. The day of the wedding he arrived on time, captured all of the pictures on our shot list (and more!), and was great working with all the different members of our wedding party and families. We received so many compliments from our guests and wedding party the day of the wedding about how wonderful Steve was. We received all of our proofs shortly after our wedding and they were absolutely stunning.They turned out even better than we could have imagined. Steve captured all of the special moments of our day and more, making it difficult to narrow it down to the picture limit for our album (which I consider a good thing!). If you are deciding between photographers, GO WITH HOFFMANN! There really is no question in my mind that he does excellent work. Also, if you are from an Asian family like me, Hoffmann works plenty with our peeps so he is very culturally aware. =)I have used his services twice now. The first time was for our family reunion, and everybody was so so soooo happy with his photos. He doesn't just show up on time, he shows up way earlier to scope out the location and to make sure he knows where to get the best shots. When my family of 35 members arrived, he was able to organize and direct us. He also gave us a lot of flexibility to come up with our own poses and let us have fun with the pictures! My family isn't the easiest to work with, either. hahaI also used Hoffmann for my wedding on June 4th, 2011, and he and his crew did an unbelievable job. His pictures turned out AMAZING!!! He will ask you exactly what you want and then get a detailed time line of your wedding day (which the crew followed to a T!!!) I recommend that you introduce your family members and close friends (or whoever is important to you) to Hoffmann before the event and that way he knows which people to capture in his photos. What's great about his crew is that they divide and conquer, so you can have several things going on at the same time and they won't miss a shot. For example, they got pictures of me getting ready the same time that my husband was getting ready, and we were at completely different locations. It really saved us time and made things so much easier to organize because we could overlap. We had a pretty big wedding party (24 people) so you can imagine how many pictures were taken for the group and individual shots between the ceremony and reception. In fact, the crew pretty much skipped their lunch in order to get all the pictures in, and didn't even complain once. We didn't even notice they hadn't eaten until way after we had finished eating. It was obvious that they had made our wedding their #1 priority. Oh, and for Asian weddings, it's very common to have pictures with each guest taken at the beginning of the reception, which he did an awesome job with! All of these pictures were developed and in photo frames by the time the guests left at the end of the night for them to take home. This makes a great thank you card, too! Overall, we were very happy with Hoffmann and would definitely recommend his services. I still get very emotional looking at my wedding pictures because each moment was captured so nicely. Cheers!

Hoffmann is a top-notch photographer and knows exactly how to adapt to his clients' personalities. We were referred to him by my maid of honor, who did a couple of family photo sessions with him and absolutely loved him. He did our engagement as well as our wedding photos. During our engagement session, I was a bit nervous because neither my husband nor I had ever had taken professional photos before, but Hoffmann made us feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning and we ended up having so much fun! When we got our engagement photos back, we were amazed at how natural and beautiful our pictures were - we received compliments from everyone we shared the photos with! Between the engagement session and our wedding day, Hoffmann made sure to keep in touch with me to stay up to date on our schedule, etc. He showed up right on time on the day of, and although everything was extremely hectic, he adapted very quickly and made things work. We were pressed for time the entire day, but he made sure to get all of the shots we wanted in while keeping our pushy wedding coordinators at bay. Additionally, our wedding happened to be on the ONE cloudy Saturday in Orange County, which I was worried about. HOWEVER, we've just gotten our wedding photographs back and they look absolutely beautiful - I don't even notice the lack of sunlight :) I couldn't imagine having anyone else photographing our most important day.

We got married on February 5th, 2011. Hoffman was the most impressive photographer I have ever worked with. Many of my friends that were there were from the Bay area and all were blown away by his "coolness, ease, and flexibility" with the entire day. It was seamless- he never was made a big deal of anything, and because of this, caught some very priceless shots, when we didn't even know he was snapping photos. He's a gem. If you are lucky enough that he is available on your wedding day- snatch him up- and pay him well. He's worth every single penny!!!!!

What a professional! Hoffman did my niece's wedding and she was 8 months pregnant and the groom didn't speak English! How about that for a challenge!Hoff was fantastic; we didn't even know he was there. That is how it should be -- he caught the bride and groom's love which was the most important thing of the day.I would not hesitate to recommend him!

Hoff was amazing. We got the pictures back in less than a month and he did a wonderful job capturing the "feel" of the day. I can't stop looking at my pictures.

Hoffmann did an incredible job photographing our 30-guest wedding! He was very responsive and answered all of my questions almost immediately. He and his 2nd photographer (Mike Villa) managed to capture so much of our event almost without our realizing they were there. I was concerned about having two photographers at such a small event - I didn't want to feel like I was being stalked by paparazzi, but Hoffmann and Mike did such a great job and made us feel at ease the entire time. The photos are beautiful and very natural! Hoffmann is a true professional and has an artistic (but not "artsy") style. We will definitely use Hoffmann to document future family events and portraits.

We picked Hoffman because of his incredible experience and fantastic personality. My husband is a little camera shy but once we met Hoffman the shots were endless. We were so comfortable around him that I was literally happy to see him on the wedding day. He showed up early, stayed late and even helped with some of my crazy bridal requests after the wedding once the photos were in. There were so many unexpected things that Hoffman caught that my whole family has been in tears while seeing his work of our wedding. I didn't have to have a huge "list" of shots we wanted prepared for him like many magazines suggest because Hoffman is such a professional that I didn't need to worry about it! With out a doubt I have already started to recommend him to all of the engaged girls I meet!

Steve Hoffman and his team were great for our wedding and got us the best possible package for what we needed. Steve was a pleasure to work with, always responded to my emails quickly, he was on time, and made us feel so comfortable with getting our intimate shots and was very creative. On top of it, my feet were sooooo swollen during the wedding, and he took the picture of me putting my shoes on at an angle that you couldn't even tell.My mother, who is the most fussiest person about photographs felt comfortable, she said she felt that as if the photographer wasn't even there. On top of it, all the pictures he took really make me remember the day. Because my wedding day went by so fast that I felt as if it was a quick dream.The list he provides for you, as a suggestion of pictures you want. Really think about all you really want. Aside from bride+goom+mil etc.When I got my pictures back the few things I wanted pictures of weren't 'there but that was my fault, so Ladies/Gents specify whether you want your pictures to represent the people that were at your wedding and how they enjoyed it, or if you want the pictures to show the experience. Looking back now, I wish i had more pictures of the reception, of people dancing, the decorations, etc. I did get pictures of everyone that was there in intimate shots. Maybe some people want that, maybe they don't. I would have rather gotten pictures of all the different types of food, the dancing, the bride dancing for the money dance with people. There is so much more to a wedding, photography etc. Make sure to tell your photographer (*ahem* Hoffman) every detail of your wedding, every tradition that you will be following. DO NOT OMIT ANYTHING. (I forgot to tell him about the entrance tradition for us with bread and salt, and the champagne class toss, he even told me that it would have been great pictures and he wished the could have set up his photographers to capture this, but I honesty failed to tell him) The better planned the wedding, the better plan of events, details etc you send to Hoffman the better pictures you will get. He really tries to capture all the important moments.I wish I could just put a 4.9 for quality of service, but the highest it goes is 5, or 4.5 and Hoffman is not deserving for 4.5 of quality of service. The only mark down is the time it took for my pictures to get edited, and I had to remind him to send me the photos. I would have rather gotten a date when I would have the photos, etc just for convenience sake. But it's not a big deal, because I really felt that Hoffman and his team were my 'friends' who cared about my wedding, and we still keep in touch so I gave him the 5. Also the photos I ordered from him had a white border around them.. But I think that is the printing companies issue, I wish I knew about that. But that's not Hoffman's issue.One thing I was really impressed about, was he and his team managed to take PHENOMENAL groomsman pictures pictures in a meager, and somewhat messy studio apartment. The way the photos were taken made it look like the gents were getting ready in a swanky hotel.Final note, I am really happy with my wedding pictures, they are beautiful, every time I look at them I smile and remember the wedding day. I was extremely pleased, he was kind, generous and hard working. A+ for his integrity, girls.. Just remember that it is worth every penny to get amazing wedding pictures.. you will have them as a reminder for the rest of your life, and you want a photographer that will capture the mood, and feel of your wedding, and your relationship with your husband, the joy and love that you share. Hoffman ( and his team) works extremely hard to provide that for you, but you do need to give direction, like any other vendor.

We got married at Strawberry Farms Golf Club and I had a hard time deciding on a photographer and how much to spend. While going over everything with our wedding planner she highly recommended Hoffman Photographer. From the first phone call I was very pleased with our decision. Hoffmann's work is phenomenal! We hired him to do both our engagement and wedding shots, and he went above and beyond anything we’d expected!!! We loved his wonderful suggestions and unobtrusive work style. The day of the wedding, Hoffmann and his assistant showed up early with mentionable patience. With a wedding party of 20 people and over 180 family and friends to work around, he was able to capture the most important memories of the night. All the great things everyone said about Hoffman are true. But in addition to taking spectacular pictures (which, he does), he is also timely about getting back to clients, setting appointments and keeping them, being accurate and consistent with our contracts and paperwork, getting proofs back quickly, and getting our album to us (better than we anticipated - we joke that it's our modeling portfolio - HA!) shortly after our wedding. I can't tell you how many friends I have that had beautiful pictures, but whose wedding photographers had no follow through. I also think it's important to add that when you're talking about someone who is interacting with your family, friends, coworkers, etc., on your very important day, you want someone who will dress and act appropriately. At a friend's wedding, the photographer showed up in a tank top and cussed loudly in front of elderly guests. Hoffman BLENDS. He was fantastic in every way - we have in the past, and continue to recommend him.

Steve's price and quality is unbeatable. You can get much more expensive photographers and packages, but the quality won't be much better. You can get less expensive photographers, but the quality will definitely suffer. He was great for our engagement session and had two assistants and 9 total cameras at our wedding. Our guests were all commenting on large number of cameras there and wondering what kind of extravagant package we had purchased.We enjoyed Steve's personality and friendliness. His artistic style with his pictures was exactly what we were looking for.

DON'T HIRE HOFFMANN - unless you want to be disappointed. That's exactly how my now, husband and I felt after meeting him on our wedding day and from seeing the photos a month after the wedding. To be completely HONEST with you all, I thought Hoffmann was a good photographer from his blogs and website and that's why I hired him. Unfortunately, it was the BIGGEST MISTAKE/decision of my wedding day! People that know me.. know I LOVE photos and taking pictures and having pictures taken of me (modeling). Hoffmann's photos did not have a wow factor at all! He was missing photos from the day when he gave us the photos. In his description on this website about him I quote, "You can be confident that each moment and angle of history will be captured." That's incorrect! He missed the MOST IMPORTANT factors in our day! He missed the shots of the bouquet toss, garter toss, cake feeding (him feeding me), and on top of that - we extending him an hour on the wedding day to take photos of a cultural traditional formal wedding program during the end of the reception and for an hours time, he didn't take every step of the program/process. What a waste of money! On top of that, he left ON THE DOT.. he literally left and disappeared with no trace, he didn't even say goodbye to the bride and groom! The only way I knew he left is because I wanted a picture of something and asked for the photographer - the DJ said he left, 'cause his time was up. No other vendor did that. Some of you might be thinking that I did something to make this situation arise, but I didn't. Hoffmann may even be surprised that this is my review. I would be lucky if he remembered me. I loved all my vendors and they were all so willing and helpful before and during the wedding. Hoffmann was my only regret. And if I could redo anything about our wedding.. it would be only Hoffmann. I would've hired someone else. Maybe then I would be happy to look back at my photos and remember our special day through my photos. I don't think Hoffmann was passionate about what he is doing. I think he does it for the money. Because if he was passionate about it, I would've seen it through the photos. Really, I'm writing this review out of hurt and sadness and not anger. I really wish I could of hired someone else or that he did a better job in making my special day truly come out in the photos he took. I'm very glad my husband's family took a lot of photos (which are better than his) - they have the bouquet and garter toss with the flowers and garter in the air! These were photos I was expecting the professional to take but I guess I should've hired someone else to get those photos. *sigh* All in all, I have tears in my eyes when I look at the photos because he's missing so many major moments of our wedding day. I'm just saying, if a bride wrote this review and I read it before I thought about choosing him - I would've been a happier bride by not hiring him.

Steve Hoffmann is not only one of the most gifted photographers I know, but he is a loyal friend & all around awesome guy.
