An amazing hotel and ballroom at a reasonable price. Great staff, great accommodations and overall a perfect night. Our food was fantastic.

My fiance and I started planning our wedding less than 3 months before the actual day. First off, the Holiday Inn was definitely the best price for the best package. Just about everything was included (minus obvious stuff) and booking that close to the date was no problem. Upon first meeting Pebbles, we were sincerely pleased with how knowledgeable and friendly she was. Pebbles genuinely wants to make your day as perfect for you as can possibly happen. She doesn't push anything on you that you don't want and is more than accomodating when little things come up and you need to email or call her. My (now) husband and I cannot possibly say enough great things about Pebbles and the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg. The room was perfect, the food was great, and the bartender was fantastic with all of our requests. Pebbles checked in several times throughout the night and one final time before leaving for the evening (we had a late wedding). My only regret is it only happens once. Do yourself a favor and definitely book with Holiday Inn Gaithersburg and ask for Pebbles. She is the absolute best!

We had our wedding reception at Holiday Inn – Gaithersburg on October 1, 2011. My husband and I compiled a massive excel sheet of all wedding venues in and around this area, including their prices, reviews, etc. The value of the Holiday Inn’s wedding packages was among the best (although their prices have slightly increased since then, I believe they still have a great value). We narrowed our list to our top choices and toured and interviewed with the staff. Amanda, the catering manager at the time, was a perfect fit for us and our style of wedding and had received so many positive reviews on wedding Wire so we decided to go with Holiday Inn. We highly recommend this venue, especially if you are having many guests from out of town. Holiday Inn makes everything extremely convenient. Our guests flew in from all over the US, took the metro to Shady Grove, and then Holiday Inn’s free shuttle service picked them up from the Metro. (The shuttle runs every half hour and will take guests staying at Holiday Inn to and pick up guest from locations within 5 miles of the hotel). Our wedding ceremony was at St. Rose of Lima on Clopper Road and we were even able to set up a pre-scheduled time for the shuttle to take guests to the ceremony and bring them back! Many of our guests did not even have to rent a car. Lake Forest mall is across the street, they could even walk to it if they did not want to take the shuttle. Our guests told us the food at our reception was good. We had a plated dinner of Porter House Steak, Crab Cake, and Champagne Chicken. I especially enjoyed the crab cake dinner; it was the most popular choice among our guests. The champagne chicken did not look quite as pretty on the plate, but I remember it tasting good at the food tasting prior to our event. The Porter House steak was a custom choice of ours. It looked really good and was very big! We were very happy with our choice of having our reception at Holiday Inn. Planning your wedding is a very stressful thing to do, especially if you do not have any family in the area and are planning it yourself. The staff at Holiday Inn really tries to help out as much as they can. The only unnecessary stress I encountered with Holiday Inn was when they switched the catering manager from Amanda to Pebbles without notifying us. As I mentioned previously, we chose this venue based on Amanda. I found out only 2 months before our wedding of the change and even though Pebbles tried her best to make a smooth transition, I did feel a lot of stress when I was finding out that things I was told by Amanda was not how Pebbles did things. I sometimes felt like I was asking for something special when really it was something I was already promised by the previous catering manager. After we were all on the same page, everything ended up being beautiful. I think the problem I ran into is rare, I was just unlucky with my timing as Holiday Inn changed the person in charge of our wedding from the 6 months we signed the contract to the time of our event. I think Pebbles did a great job with our wedding and will do a great job with your wedding. I can see that she really cares and sees the importance in every small detail. She really wants to do a good job. We attended the food tasting Amanda put together, and although it was nice, there were a bunch of kids there and the food was served buffet style. I saw pictures of Pebbles’ Food Tasting. The atmosphere looked really great, she had vendors bring flowers, do lighting, set the tables, etc, and served the food plated so you can get an idea of what it will feel like at your event. We also used the Potomac Room between our Wedding Ceremony and the Reception for a cultural wedding ritual (of my Husband’s country) and Pebbles exceeded my expectations with this. I really did not expect her to be responsible for anything for this, but she made sure the room was set up to our preference including staging, and even made us a computerized lay out so we could see how it would all look. The day before our wedding we found out there was a problem with our satin napkins. They would not hold a pretty fold, and the fold was falling apart. The staff suggested some less attractive options, but Pebbles made sure that we were happy and they actually ironed the napkins to make sure they provided us with what we wanted. That just goes to show how dedicated Pebbles is and how she truly wants the bride and groom’s day to be perfect. She also offered to send up hors d’oeuvres to our room while we were changing before the reception. I thought that was a very thoughtful gesture. If you will have a large number of guests dancing all night, I suggest you verify what size your dance floor will be. The ballroom may fit your number of guests, but the dance floor may have to be small in order to accommodate all the tables. I know Pebbles and her staff will maximize the space as much as possible, but if the size of the dance floor is something that is important to you, you should check that out before you sign. I also suggest you purchase some uplighting for the ballroom. It can create a romantic (or whatever mood you would like to set) atmosphere. We actually hired a vendor that provided us with lighting that changed during different parts of the reception to create different moods. If you would like lighting, Pebbles can help set that up. We had a sweetheart table on staging with the bride and groom, and then a head table in front of us (floor level) with our 8 member-wedding party. I thought it looked great! We attended a wedding this weekend and the bride, groom, and wedding party were seated at a round table. We could not see them much and we never got a good view of them with the wedding party. I was really happy that Holiday Inn gave us this option. It made for some great photos! We had a great wedding and are very happy how everything turned out. Thank you Pebbles and the rest of the Holiday Inn staff! PS – The Bridal suite is pretty SWEET!

The Holiday Inn Gaithersburg was a fantastic venue. They helped me every step of the way with how I envisioned my wedding. Amanda and Pebbles were such fantastic organizers that helped me have a stress free day.

Our wedding reception went so smooth and was so beautiful! We picked the Holiday Inn because of their package deals and it was high value for the cost. Every question we had was answered in a timely fashion, the whole planning process was made so simple. We were planning our wedding in a short amount of time...3 months...and having an inclusive package (linens, DJ, table decor, cake...even recommended our photographer) made it so easy. We couldn't have been any happier with how everything turned out. Every one had so much fun and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything turned out. Thanks to Amanda and her team!!!

The Holiday Inn Gaithersburg was absolutely wonderful to work with and made my wedding day go PERFECT!!! From the beginning, they were absolutely flexible and were able to accommodate all of our specific requests and made sure everything that we wanted would be included in our package. Amanda was wonderful to work with and was very responsive throughout the entire process with any questions that we had. Would highly recommend-was very pleased!

We were very pleased with the Holiday Inn and AMANDA!!! We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding and a brunch and all events were extraordinary! Overall, our wedding was amazing and we enjoyed every minute!! When it comes to the preparations Amanda is always available to help and answer questions, she responds you your calls/emails very quickly and always has an answer. The platinum package is the way to go because everything is included! This makes things easier and less stressful. Amanda made sure all services provided were in order and really listened to what we wanted. Also, the wedding suite that is included was amazing! We would definitely recommend this venue to others for their special day or other events.

June 5th, 2010 was the happiest day of our lives. Holiday Inn along with all of the wonderful staff made sure everything went as smooth and perfect as possible. Amanda was the best during the 8 months that we had been planning this great day for. She made the impossible possible for us. The food was great, the service was excellent. We just had our wedding reception at Holiday Inn Gaithersburg on May 22. I must say that this place knows what Customer Service is all about. Hands down they are the best! We worked with Amanda Mowbray throughout the wedding planning process. Amanda is every brides dream for a wedding coordinator. She was very helpful, always accessible and really catered to our needs. She was very easy to work with and extremely nice. And she doesn't push you beyond your limits. We were on an extremely tight budget, but I wanted to order the chair covers and sash to add extra touch to the decoration. Instead of pushing me to spend spend spend, she gave me the options to use their newly purchased chairs to save some money. I thought that was a really nice gesture. And she also graciously stored my wedding gown prior to checking in to my bridal suite since I didnt want to transport it from my house back and forth.
The food at our reception was also delicious. We had a buffet style reception and ordered salmon, london broil, candied carrots, potatoes, and salad. I must say that the salmon was moist and perfectly cooked and the london broil was really tender. We were really satisfied with their catering department. We had a few vegetarian guests and they also catered to their needs. And one thing that really touched me was that one of our guests has celiac disease and they went all out to prepare her meal that was gluten free. How amazing is that? They really outdid themselves.
Since our reception ended at 4, we had to continue partying. So we rented O'Malleys, which is a pub restaurant on the basement of the Holiday Inn. Amanda helped me get this venue set up as well. We had our DJ set up the Karaoke and his spinning table so that the guests can sing and dance at the same time. We also had pick up foods and I must say those little burgers were to die for! James, the restaurant manager was very gracious and nice to us as well. I almost felt like we were so demanding. But he was so patient. We really tore the place apart. I meant in a good way.
Our over all experience at the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg was amazing. We were really satisfied with the services they have provided. And Amanda and her team are amazing! So don't look any further, Holiday Inn has everything you need. We really had a great time and all our guests can't stop talking about how an awesome party we had, starting from the reception to the After Party.

The Holiday Inn Gaithersburg provided a lovely event for My Daughters Wedding Reception. Every detail went exactly as planned, the food was great , the service was great, and everyone had a wonderful time!!! Amanda and the entire staff were professional and attentive to all the little details that really made all the difference.

Amanda was great to work with. We only had the reception at the Holiday Inn and it was everything that my daughter wanted and more. Everyone siad that everything was nice and the meal was wonderful. I had another daughter and when she gets married we will for sure have the reception at the Holiday Inn in gaithersburg. Also i would want to work with Amanda.

This is a great venue for wedding receptions!! They are extremely flexible and were willing to work within my budget and give me exactly what I wanted! The cost was very reasonable and the service during the actual event was GREAT!

The Holiday Inn In Gaithersburg did an awesome job. They offer a great package and they are way better priced then the other hotels in the area. I highly recommend this as a reception venue. We got the Platinum package and we were very pleased. The service by the wedding coordinater and other management that were helpful to us during the planning process was great. The reception was amazing. The food was wonderful. the bridal suite is beautiful.

The only thing I would complain about is if you are staying over night and decide to continue your party after the reception ends in O'Malleys (The bar in the basement of the Hotel) I wouldn't recommend it. The bartenders were extremely rude. I would recommend using the Maryland Room which is a complimentary room with tables that is included in the Platinum package to have drinks after the reception instead of spending money in O'Malleys for bad unfriendly service.

The Holiday Inn set up everything exactly the way I asked. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and our wedding guests really enjoyed themselves!

Amanda was very flexible and willing to meet all of our needs. She allowed the bride (our daughter) to use the bridal suite ahead of time to dress there. We had the Meeting Room for our guests to gather after the reception. Her staff were very gracious and considerate in packing up our gifts and supplies. We had a lot of comments on how good the food was.

Definitely I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn and especially Amanda to all my friends not only for a wedding reception but also for meetings.

I could not have been more pleased, my reception at the Holiday Inn was remarkable, Amanda was wonderful she helped us on every little detail, I relied on her expertise since i did not have a coordinator, everything turned out perfect, my guests were very pleased, the food was delicious , the setting and decoration was simply faboulous, not to mention the chocolate foundue provided by the venue, was to die for.

I had my wedding and reception at the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg. I also stayed at the hotel during my wedding weekend and a special discount was given to my guests for staying in the hotel as well. The bridal suite was very spacious and attractive. The hotel even let us get into the room a day early for a little extra fee, since I didn't want to have to switch rooms during my stay.

Pam the catering manager was so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly for my wedding. She even recommended the dj and another musician (Flynnatra) for my reception music and both turned out great. She was always available by e-mail or phone if I had a question or needed advice.

The chef went out of his way to make a fantastic vegetable wellington for my husband, myself and our other vegetarian guests that was a hit with everyone who tried it.

I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg. The entire weekend was a great value and the service was terrific. All of my out of town guests felt very welcome and comfortable during their stay.

My experience with the Holiday Inn, most specifically with Amanda Mowbray, was exceptional. She worked with me throughout the wedding planning process to ensure that I had the wedding reception that I envisioned. She was easily accessible and willing to go above and beyond what I needed. Her professionalism is astounding and I would highly recommend using the Holiday Inn (and already have as a friend of mine is already booked for a reception in May) through Amanda! One upgrade that I would make in the future (which had nothing to do with Amanda) would be for your bar staff to card. There was a minor served at my wedding after I had specifically warned the staff to please card knowing that this may be an issue. Unfortunately they did not card and continued to serve him even after being made aware by a family member of mine that he was underage. This was disappointing as it resulted in his removal from the reception. In the future, I would highly recommend speaking to the bar staff regarding this manner. The DJ (Electra-Josh Levine), was incredible! He really made the evening enjoyable and was very in tune with the crowd and their needs. He was easy going, yet highly professional and easily accessible. The cake (through Custom Cake Design) was phenomenal! My experience dealing with the staff there was pleasant. The food for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding as provided by the Holiday Inn was of great quality! Overall, we were very pleased! Most specifically with Amanda Mowbray, our coordinator!

Amanda Mowbray was awesome. She helped us make great choices and guided us the whole way. The food was wonderfull and the cake out of this world. all of our guests had a great time and everything was perfect. HIGHLY reccommend this faciilty.

We worked with Amanda Mowbray to arrange the reception, including where everyone would be or what event would take place at any given hour or half-hour, who our DJ would be, the food that would be served, the decorations, the table placement--everything. Our time spent with her showed us that she cared very much about making the reception go smoothly and she was very personable in her interactions with us. At the time of the reception, there were guests who we did not know were coming, and other guests we were expecting who could not make it, and fairly quickly, things were rearranged. One criticism we have: Fees were worked out at that time as well, because of the last-minute guests, which we were not really in a frame of mind to handle at that point. (Later, we got things all squared away when it was figured that about the same number of uninvited guests came as places for guests who could not come.) Overall, we were very happy with the way everything went.

Overall, my experience with the Holiday Inn was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this venue for anyone who is on a budget but still wants to have a very nice wedding. We paid a VERY reasonable price per person without having to sacrifice anything.

We chose the platinum package, which was adjusted since we didn't want the chair covers. The package included food, open bar for 4 hours, and cocktail hour. We used their recommended florist, Edge, but had to pay extra money to upgrade the centerpieces that were included. Be forewarned about this...when we signed the contract I was under the impression that the centerpieces included were what I wanted (low vases, packed flowers, no greenery), but they were not. The recommended DJ, from Electra Entertainment, was also fantastic the day of the wedding. The cake, from Custom Cakes, was delicious- even better than the day of the tasting. It was so nice to use the package, because Pebbles coordinated the delivery of all the services directly with the vendors and I didn't have to worry about any of those logistics the day of the wedding.

We started working with Amanda when we signed our contract. She moved to a different position and we were surprised to learn that Pebbles would coordinate our wedding. I heard wonderful things about Amanda, so at first I wasn't very happy. BUT, I must say that I am pleased we worked with Pebbles. She was so friendly, very responsive, and I really trusted that she would execute my vision. She did a great job helping with the flow of events and setup the day of, and we really appreciate everything she did for us. Pebbles is wonderful!

I only have two things that could have been better. I heard from some guests (including my mom's table) that their food was cold. The catering staff took the food and heated it for anyone told them of the issue, and everyone said the food was delicious, but the food should all be warm the first go round. Also, the meals were plated incorrectly. We requested chicken with carrots and potatoes and salmon with rice and veggies. The staff plated the sides with the wrong meat. All the food was tasty, but wasn't presented properly. We were able to get the carrots and potatoes we wanted at the sweetheart table, but the other guests meals were off. We printed one menu tent per table- thankfully we didn't put a menu at each table. This error may not have gone unnoticed if we put a menu at each place setting.

P.S. The bridal suite is amazing. It was perfect for getting ready with the bridal party before the wedding. It was great knowing we could just roll upstairs after a night of fun, dancing, and drinking. And brunch the next morning was great.

Pebbles could not have been more wonderful, she truly did all she possibly could to make the day go beautifully. The reception was wonderful, the catered meals were excellent, although I have heard that the vendor meals were not very good, which I would advise looking into, because a happy photographer makes for better pictures. Overall, however, I was very happy with how the evening went, and would definitely recommend this location for a wedding.

You are the best, all it took me to be tension free was to communicate, to ask her any little questions that I had. Pebbles is very efficient and on top on things. Everything went the way we had discussed. The Holiday Inn, servers that I had to hire separately in addition to what the contract offered were outstanding. My wedding was a Pakistani wedding and I experienced just peace and love.

The food was great! The service was excellent! They did a great job decorating and everything met my expectations! I was very pleased!

When we told people that we were having our reception at the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg, we only heard good things! They were all true!

Pebbles Kolle was AMAZING to work with!!! She was very attentive and responsive. She answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns and made our wedding reception planning very easy.

Being a same-sex couple, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how well we were received and attended to. Amanda was outstanding and assisted/attended to our every need. We had an initial issue with the cake company that came with our package, but Amanda quickly handled the situation and all went well after that. My wife and I were constantly complimented on the decorations, cake and the services that were provided with our package. It was a great value and i would reccommend Holiday Inn to all my friends.

The wedding planner was very approachable and very flexible (especially in terms of type of food, number of expected guests and configuration of the reception room). I especially appreciated how she put my daughter (the bride to be at ease). The Holiday Inn platinum package is a real deal (a number of guest commented on how pretty the silk seat covers were.)

Having said that, it would have been helpful to have the Holiday Inn wedding planner help with lining up the wedding party and distributing their flowers right before the ceremony. It got a little bit chaotic right before the ceremony.

In terms of the catering, I think the bar staff should have been more flexible and dispensed a soft drink during dinner hour if one of the guests requested it. Also the wait staff neglected to inform some of the parent of children that their were children's meals availailable

All the wedding services provided were excellent; this venue was a great value for the money and very professionally managed. Although we had a slight problem with the shower in our room, the staff was professional, attentive, and flexible in working with us around this issue. However, the front desk manager on Sunday (29JUNE) was very rude and not cooperative in helping us to resolve the remaining issues with our room. Other than that, we had a great experience with the Holiday Inn and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great place to host an event.

Amanda was simply wonderful to work with. She was very professional and punctual with responding to any questions or concerns we had. I would highly recommend any new engaged couple to have the reception at this venue. The decor and hospitality was great and we couldn't have asked for more. The price you pay verses the services you receive are above average and we were very pleased. Amanda not only was responsive but was actaully more of a confident as she guided us throught this process. With her great attitude and upbeat personality it made it easy for us on our wedding day as we trusted that she would have everything to run smoothly.

First, I only had my reception there not the ceremony. Overall they did an amazing job. There were a few small things that could have been better. One is that we had a bagel station and they forgot to put out the cream cheese however it was fixed pretty quickly was guests mentioned it to the staff. Another is that there were no plates put on the omelette station which just was a pain but not that big of a deal. My guest book was kept on a table outside the reception room despite my asking it be brought into the reception room. I feel like a lot of guests did not sign because they did not know where it was and that was dissapointing. The only other thing is that the staff never directed anyone from the cocktail hour to the reception room. My family, myself, and wedding party had to do it and that was very frustrating because the hotel staff was supposed to take care of that. Despite this they did an amazing job and I woul do it all over again with them. Pebbles and Amanda were great and responsive at every turn. The hotel was very flexible in accomadating for what we wanted. Really a fantastic venue overall.

Pam Luben, our wedding coordinator, was exceptional! She paid attention to every detail and thought of things that even I didn't. I would HIGHLY reccommend this hotel for your reception. The fod was delicious and the cake was very tasty!

There were only two things I would change about our wedding day experience.

1. The Holiday Inn associates did not cue the dj, so our wedding ceremony music was not played as it was supposed to be.

2. When I got to the Holiday Inn, my wedding suite wasn't ready. I had to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes with my vail on and my mother and daughters waiting. That caused extra stress.

Everything worked out well. It was a nice venue, Amanda worked very hard for and with us. she was a pleasure to work with. It was only until the actualy wedding where in our eyes we noticed the staff dropped the ball a few times. The cake cutting process and getting supplies prepared ahead of time wasn't very organized, the lighting was way too dark (we didn't take/have the time to make adjustments with the staff), there was not enough seats set out during the ceremony so about 10 guests had to stand. But nothing killed the show, the guests enjoyed their time and didn't have any complaints. So I'd recommend them and we would just make sure those adjustments are made.

Overall the reception was great. They decorated just the way I had requested. I just wish my "planner" had stepped in and helped the transitions a little bit better. Chicken marsala didnt have the same taste as the tasteing. Serlion was amazing though. I chose not to have rice and was able to substitute a vegie tray. Was disappointed that I only recieved one vegie tray for 100 people to snack on. Some people didnt even know it was there. I didn't know it was there untill I walked to the back corner of the room to talk to someone. Overall was happy though. For someone like me whose buget was SMALLLLLL. Great value.

We secured Holiday Inn for our wedding ceremony/reception venue since we wanted everything in one place. The ballroom reservation was a cinch to reserve, but the planning and the meetings took months of to work out until the last month before the wedding were we able to get everything on in agreeable sense.

If you're interested in this hotel, call ahead and set up an appointment. The earlier you do it, the better chance you have of securing the date you want. Calling is always the best method. Emails can sometimes be confusing, so it's best to either call or meet face to face.

I had my reception here. The price was excellent for the services provided. We were having a simple reception. I didn't need much from Amanda. In fact, I only met with her twice and the first time was to decided on the package we were getting and the menu and the last one was to drop off items before the reception like the placecards, cake topper, etc..

Supposedly Amanda's services as a coordinator are part of the package. This I can say... in 6 months up to my wedding she was always OUT... my calls and emails were transferred to others who usually didn't know what was going on and couldn't provide definite answers.

The bill was due 3 days before the event. No problem. Pretty typical. Most vendors want their money a few days before. I start getting calls that morning from vendors who got rejection messages from my bank. I call my bank and they tell me that they froze my account because Holiday Inn Gaith. was making mulitple withdrawls in varying amounts and they decided to freeze my account with a fraud alert because the withdrawals were suspicious. Let me back up... I told Amanda that I was coming in person THAT DAY (I told her a week earlier) with a certified check to pay the balance of my account so I was somewhat concerned that they were trying to withdraw the money themselves (WITHOUT my permission) and in small weird amounts ($100, $250, $50, $3000, $27--- as reported by my bank that they attempted to withdraw these amounts about every 1/2 hour starting at 8 am that morning).. So weird. I couldn't get ahold of Amanda until 4 pm that day... I kept getting the runaround from everyone else in the office. No one knew who was making the withdrawals, no one could stop them, etc... Basically, in this nightmare.. My others vendors weren't getting their money because of the freeze and Holiday Inn couldn't guarantee that they would stop making these withdrawals --by the way all of this WITHOUT MY CONSENT. By 6 pm, it was stopped, they returned what they took and my bank lifted the freeze. I was able to pay them and then had to be on the phone with every single other vendor who thought I had no money to pay them with.

I dropped off mints for the tables, the place cards, the cake topper and told her what time the florist was dropping off the flowers. I told her there would centerpieces as well as a box with flowers for the cake table. I asked her if she could decorate the cake table and put on the cake topper and she agreed.

Day of the reception: No flowers on the cake table. No cake topper. Amanda no where to be found. Was there when I arrived. Disappeared after. I had to insist she be called in to explain the naked cake.

Other things: It was winter. They put a coat rack IN THE RECEPTION area instead of in the empty room across the hall (which by the way, they did for the reception that followed ours--we saw it when we came downstairs)... So TACKY.
I specifically requested that the gift table be inside the room not near the doors. Gift table location-- next to the doors.
We asked for a sweetheart table that was not on a riser. Location of the sweetheart table... ON a 4 ft riser.
We used their vendor for lighting. I was willing to pay for extra lighting to make sure that the color scheme was really evident. The base package is 10. It's not enough. You need about 25-30 to really get the effect. I asked Amanda for guidance since she knows this stuff... She said 10 was more than enough.

I won't even mention the table numbering. Several emails she was so specific that the table numbering wouldn't change from the graphic she had sent me. I was very careful and made up my placecards based on it. I don't know what numbering they used but the tables were NOT in the order on the pdf file. My parents ended up in the back of the room instead of in front near us. It was so haphazard--it looked like they just put table numbers whereever they fell.

This also meant that they served alcohol to the underage table!! Go figure.

The table mints--they were so kind... they just put one per person down and returned about 800 to us. They were asked to distribute all of them!

They claimed they couldn't find the cake topper. Guess where we found it?.... in the table mint bag-about 3 months later...

They claimed they didn't get the flowers for the cake table--they lied about so much other stuff--I assume they didn't notice the box since the centerpieces were all they were looking for.

Overall, unprofessional, no attention to detail and totally unapologetic.

I will say this-- the food is FABULOUS--very very good and at a great price.

The honeymoon suite is SWEET. Very, very nice. Totally worth it.

Food was not as good as when provided at the tasting. They forgot to order chair covers for my ceremony room. At the bar they refused to serve vodka shots without ice although the guests insisted otherwise.

Otherwise, the wedding suite they provided was pretty nice...

I highly recommend Holiday Inn, Gaithersburg, MD for your next event/wedding celebrations!

The Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg is a great place to host your next event. The food is excellent and a great value, the service is very attentive and the location is ideal for you and your guests! Also, they have a beautiful bridal suite that you will never forget! I have photographed many events at the Holiday Inn and have always enjoyed working with their staff. I highly recommend you choose the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg as your event venue!

Convenient location, flexible ballroom options, talented wedding coordinators, knowledgeable and attentive banquet staff, wonderful food and rooms for overnight guests. What more do I need to say. Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg is an all around excellent choice for any event.

Holiday Inn has done a TOTAL revamp, the staff and accommodations were spectacular, I would encourage anybody thinking that they know what Holiday Inn is all about to hold on for a moment and check them out!

A fantastic property just outside of Washington DC. They have a greta staff that will work with you and their chef is outstanding.

We love working at the Holiday Inn with Pam she is great at working with the brides to make the day flow like magic. Everyone at the hotel is so helpful your day will be magical.
