Hotel staff were great to work with

It wasn't until a week before the wedding that we decided that our small party would make use of the Lido Beach Holiday Inn initially as a place to prepare for the wedding on the beach opposite. We'd booked two rooms before deciding that maybe it would be a good idea to stay overnight and hold a party for 13 in the rooftop restaurant.
The staff at the hotel were never less than attentive, friendly and flexible. From welcoming us into the restaurant to discuss our precise requirements, to providing the best possible rates and for accomodationg numerous requests for additional items.
The day itself was not as expected, rain almost forced the ceremony inside and all the hotel staff were kind enough to offer to prepare an alternative venue for the ceremony at extremely short notice. As it happens, the weather cleared sufficiently to allow the ceremony to take place as planned, but the offer to accomodate us indoors will not be forgotten.
The small party in the upstairs restaurant was the perfect end to the day. Being a Sunday night and out of season, our party pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. The table service was outstanding, our tireless waitress ensured that our order was complete and accurate, that peoples glasses we never empty and that everything was as we expected. The food was unexpectedly good, superbly prepared and very fresh.
When presented with the bill, we were astonished to find that the seven children out of our party of 13 were given complimentary meals, this was right out of the blue and showed that this venue cares deeply about its customers and the service it offers and less about making easy money.
Heartfelt thanks to the Lido Beach Holiday Inn, the attitude of every single member of your staff we encountered went a long long way in making a fantastic day somehow even better.

Our wedding day and honeymoon was a dream come true and we would like to highly recommend the Holiday Inn Lido Beach!! From the moment I talked on the phone the first time with the wedding coordinator, Sonja my stresses were put to ease on planning a destination wedding. Sonja assisted us every step of the way from referals of vendors to listening what vision we had and implementing them. The day we arrived, the Banquet manager, Mike was quick to welcome us with champagne and fresh fruit and cheeses to our room. The customer service was excellent!! The food was excellent!! We had our welcome dinner for our guests at the Sand Dollar Resaurant on the rooftop of the Holiday Inn Lido Beach the evening before our wedding ceremony and the dinner, service, and view was remarkable...breathtaking! Ourselves along with our guests had such a wonderful time! The wedding ceremony was located on the beach across the street from the Holiday Inn and our reception was located inside the hotel in the Lido Room! Once again the decorating from the staff, the waitresses. bartenders, food, service, view was excellent! We have not one bad thing to say about out stay at the Holiday Inn Lido Beach! We were so impressed and had such a great time, we decided to stay there and spend our honeymoon instead of going to Tampa were we had planned! Sonja Newton and all of the staff at Holiday Inn Lido beach created a dream wedding for us and I highly recommend any Brides looking to be married in this area that the staff, the location, and the view of Holiday Inn Lido Beach are top notch:)

We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding, it was exquisite quality for the price and all our guests truly enjoyed the entire experience. Because it was a destination wedding, we wanted something that encompassed a fun place to be but at the same time practical and this worked out great. Our coordinator was very prompt and professional throughout the entire wedding process and she truly went out of her way to help us make the perfect wedding.

The Holiday Inn Lido Beach did an excellent job with our reception. Everything was exactly how we had planned, and everyone was a huge help!! I would definitely recommend them for anyone getting married in Sarasota !

You are great service providers! You cater to your guests and every staff member had a great attitude! We didn't get a chance to eat much, the Chef made extra food for us and sent it to our room at the end of the night. The service was excellent!

What a view!!! You can't find many places with a view of the Gulf Of Mexico like the Holiday Inn Lido. I have played events at this hotel for many years and have always enjoyed working with the staffs. They do a great job at making sure their customers have a great reception.

We've been working at this property for years and they consistently do a great job. The view from the 7th floor is very hard to match and almost impossible to beat.

If beachfront property excites you, don’t look any further. This is the location for you! The palm trees are bending in the wind, the tiki hut isn’t far away and the beach is a few steps from your door. They also have a top notch catering staff with Sonja Newton.

If you want to get married on the beach and have your reception indoors, just across the street, the Holiday Inn Lido Beach is a "no brainer." I highly recommend their ballroom upstairs which is surrounded with windows that look out over the Gulf of Mexico. Equally as impressive is the views of Sarasota Bay and surrounding areas in the other meeting room on the top floor. You just can't beat the Holiday Inn Lido if you want the tropical views and the comfort of the indoors. Spend the night and enjoy their buffet Sunday brunch too. Enjoy!
