Holiday Inn Washington Dulles

My son and new daughter-in-law held their wedding reception at the Dulles Holiday Inn. From beginning to end, the assistance we received was top notch. When we first met Taylor Young, the wedding co-ordinator she reviewed with us what was available in terms of table arrangements, decor, food, and cocktails. She shared pictures and reviewed costs. We were pleased with the presentation and what the Dulles Holiday Inn had to offer. As the wedding neared and the planning finalized, we felt very confident that every need would be met. The reception went off without a hitch. The buffet was delicious, the room was set up beautifully, the staff was gracious and very accomodating and Taylor stayed most of the evening to oversee the event. We have heard nothing but rave reviews from our wedding attendees. We would highly recommend the Dulles Holiday Inn as your wedding venue.

Taylor Young was the best to work with. She pays very close attention to detail and from the very beginning of the planning stages, right up until the event itself, she covered everything, answered all of our questions and was so pleasant to work with. We had specific drink requests that she was able to accommodate and she really went above and beyond to help us determine which entree choices to select for our reception. Another example of Taylor's dedication was our napkins. I had seen a napkin folded a certain way, but didn't know the name of it. Taylor asked several members of the staff about the various napkin folds and even emailed me pictures to see if any of those were the one I had seen that I liked so much. Taylor was also there the day of the event to coordinate everything and make sure everything went smoothly, even when we had some last minute changes to our guest list and seating arrangements! Customer satisfaction is definitely high on Taylor's list and she far exceeded our expectations.

All of our guests commented on what a great time they had and everyone loved the food. Our guests told us it was the best filet they had ever had!

The Holiday Inn itself was a great choice for us, as we had a lot of out of town guests attending our wedding. It was nice that everyone could be in one place and catch up with others they hadn't seen in a while. And the kids loved that there was an indoor pool! All the staff members at the Holiday Inn were so pleasant and helpful. They truly made our special day very memorable!

I was extremely happy with my decision to have my wedding ceremony and reception at the Holiday Inn. Taylor was responsive to my needs from the very beginning. I had a limited budget, so she was able to offer me a reduced price on a different day of the week. She also asked me about the necessary little details that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Her and her team included my decorations and favors on the guest tables. She made some great suggestions and the entire event was a success. The food was delicious. Most of my guests commented that the hotel and my reception were both beautiful. There is a gazebo in the courtyard that made an excellent background for photos. They also have a wonderful bridal suite with a whirlpool tub.

The entire staff was great too. There are always things that happen that are outside of your control on a big event like a wedding, and the staff was ready to help with whatever I needed... even when it wasn't their responsibility.

It was also convenient to have everything all in one place including the guest rooms. Most of my guests were from out of town and it was nice for them to not have to drive in an unfamiliar area. My bridal party was also able to get ready in the hotel and not worry about transportation.

Overall, I would recommend this venue for any wedding ceremony, reception or any other event.

She was professional and made us feel like we were the only bride and groom she was working with. The entire staff at the hotel was fantastic. They are all helpful and extremely friendly. We would recommend the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles to anyone. It is a perfect place to get married! All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your wedding; they take care of the rest!

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding! Taylor Young was so great to work with. She was extremely friendly, responsive, helpful, and very professional. Everything was planned in detail and it all ran smoothly the day of the wedding. The ceremony and reception were set up beautifully, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Me, my husband, and all of our guests had a wonderful time! The guests commended us on picking such a great place to have a wedding. Compared to other venues, the Holiday Inn is definitely affordable. I highly recommend this place for weddings and other events!!

The Holiday Inn provides exceptional service in all aspects. I had to plan my wedding in two months and they were available for anything I needed, especially Taylor Young. She is great! I had my ceremony and my reception there and they accommodated for everything. The food is some of the best food I have ever had and they gave us really good rates for out out of town guests, not to mention a free one night stay in the honeymoon suite. If you need a ceremony or reception location I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn.

Working with Taylor Young was such a relief!!!! She was on top of everything and was always there to help and assist us throughtout the entire planning! I am a perfectionist and thought would never find someone that would understand me (my needs, my concerns, every little dteails, etc)....but having Taylor by my side was the best thing I have ever done!

It was a real joy working with our coordinator at the Holiday Inn. Taylor listened and was very helpful in guiding us through the process. It helped take a lot of the stress of planning away knowing our plans were in such good hands!

All of our family flew in from all over the US. The Holiday Inn at Dulles International was provided excellent service from catering, front desk reception to the wait staff. The large room in off the side of the lobby was a great place for us all to meet and visit with each other. We decided on a sit down dinner for the wedding rehearsal dinner. I am glad because everyone got to eat at the same time. Both the service and food was TOP QUALITY!

Trust me, i had been looking for almost all hotel in the area for our wedding, coz i was looking for best price and flexibility customer service or i would call it high professionalism. after goin through all i end up with Holiday Inn Washington Dulles. talked with Taylor and she guided me through alot of things since it was my first wedding so i was really not sure how to organize it. but she was a great source and we had our wedding in their ballroom, which really happened wat i was expecting. superb professionalism, very good guest service and soooooooooooooo fexibility. we wedding reception ended an hour longer then the contract and trust me, they even didn't charged me a penny for that. i would say, i had a very good choice in selecting Holiday Inn Washington Dulles for our wedding reception. trust me, u will enjoy ur wedding and u will enjoy it more when u r watching the video of the ceremony. really appreciate Taylor and her team for making it happen.

Holiday Inn Dulles and Taylor Young went above and beyond to deliver the most incredible wedding reception imaginable. We presented an interesting challenge because we were finishing our last semester in college 14 hours away. Taylor spent hours on the phone with me and my mother planning. She changed dates many times for appointments to finalize planning, taste testing, ect...
When the day of our wedding finally arrived we awoke and opened our front door to one of the largest blizzards on record. There was 2 feet of snow on the ground and we were worried...how was the cake going to make it? The DJ? Was there going to be enough staff able to come in to cook for the event? Would the reception be cancelled? No worries...the DJ had been arranged to come in the night before the blizzard and wedding, the cake was delivered, and everything ran very smoothly.
We had a friend with VDOT and my uncle clear the road from the hotel to the church and back again, 4-wheel drive vehicles to get everyone there, and plenty of delicious hot food and dancing when we got back. Although a smaller crowd than expected with many family and friends staying safe snowed in at home, it was the most incredible white winter wedding! We were so lucky to have the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles and Taylor Young to be working with us. After our wedding day we heard many stories of venues closing and weddings cancelled, but not ours! We have a wonderful life ahead of us to live and the most incredible wedding day story to share! Thank you to the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles, Taylor Young, and all the staff that braved the blizzard for our wedding! It was a dream come true!

We had great time, the reception was well planned. Food was great, I seriously think they made our special time really special.

Find a venue for your wedding reception that works with you and is attentive to ALL your wants and needs. The Holiday Inn Washington Dulles was the perfect place to host our wedding reception and did both these things and MORE. The decorations were neat and beautiful, the food was delicious and everything ran very smoothly. The Holiday Inn worked with us and helped us each step of the way -answering all of our questions in a timely and detailed manner, which is really important when you are planning! The Holiday Inn combined elements of elegance and fun for our reception. The best thing about this venue was on our actual wedding day- we didn't have to worry about anything. The person that we worked with, Amy Marriot, made sure everything went according to plan and that everyone was happy. My groom and I were able to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere!!

All of the staff that were there at the hotel were amazing. I had nothing but compliments from my guest about everything! The food was great! The hotel is gorgeous. There hospitality was awesome! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a large or small gathering and it was definitely within our budget.

Working with Amy was sooo wonderful and she was extremely helpful and friendly. The best part was that she offered me a much larger space for my wedding venue. After talking to my decorator she realized that a bigger space will be ideal for mandap and reception and she made the changes without charging me any extra penny. Thank you Amy and your team for making everything so fabulous and easy for me.

My Husband and I were looking for a great place for our reception on a somewhat tight budget. We immediatley fell in love with the Holiday Inn Dulles! Their prices were one of the most reasonable in the area, their ballroom was beautiful, the location was great for our out of town guests and Amy was very informative and helpful! We were very pleased with our reception and all of our guests raved that ours was one of the best weddings and receptions they had been to! The food was delicious and the service was great. We highly reccomend The Holiday Inn Dulles and look forward to returning in the future!

Our event went off without one single hitch. Amy Marriott was extremely profesional and helpful in the planning of our reception. The food, theme and staff were excellent. The gazebo courtyard area and main lobby are exceptional spots for great pictures. Accomodations were very clean very comfortable. We would recommend The Holiday Inn at Dulles to anyone who wants a wedding to go over with minimal planning and minimal issues.

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience at the Holiday Inn. It was a painless process to set up our reception there and the staff was always willing to help and friendly. There's not one thing they could have done better. The day of the wedding everything was taken care of and all of us including all the family and friends had the best time we could have even hoped for. Our family still says it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reception venue.

We absolutally LOVED our reception held at the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles! We wanted reasonably priced but still a classy looking wedding and that's what we had! All the staff was very pleasant to work with and helpful. All plans were planned in detail long before the big day, which made it easy to just enjoy our BEAUTIFUL reception! I litterally had NO complaints and recommend it to any bride and groom out there! It was fantastic! (Word to future bookers, I'd recommend the whirlpool suite option, it's such a romantic end to such a special day!)

Really amazing, we couldn't have been happier with the way our wedding ceremony and reception rooms looked. This was one of the best priced places we found, but it looked like we spent a lot on it. Our planner at the Holiday Inn was also very friendly and came up with great ideas on how to make everything work well. I definitely recommend the Holiday Inn.

The Hoilday Inn of Dulles was our reception venue! We received great service and our wedding reception was beautiful!! We had over 100 guests and they did an excellent job at accommodating our needs. The food was awesome!! Everyone loved it!! We got so many compliments on our wedding!! Thank you Holiday Inn!!

Our main contact at the Holiday Inn was Taylor Young and she was absolutely fantastic!!

She worked with us to get us the best deal and be able to have what we wanted.

The only complaint I would have is that Taylor had to leave before the Reception was over and the person that took over for her was nowhere to be found the rest of the night. The ballroom was a bit hot but otherwise everything was absolutely fantastic!!!!!

We had a great experience working with Taylor Young in planning our Indian wedding ceremony and wedding reception dinner.

She was available to meet with us several times and was on time and prepared with the items we had discussed from the previous meeting and was very timely in emailing us updates of the seating arrangement plans. She is a very friendly and professional person.

The ceremony/cocktail hour/reception went very smoothly the day of the wedding which was nice. Everything turned out as we had discussed during our meetings.

We highly recommend this venue for couples who are thinking of having Indian ceremonies as they have connections to Indian vendors (that provide food and mandap).

The reason we chose Holiday Inn was because of how well they treated us the first time we met them. You know the old saying about first impressions. We checked out many venues and the last one we went to was the Holiday Inn. The people we met with were professional, flexible, and most important of all, kind. We had a little snafu when the woman we originally had as our contact was replaced but we smoothed that out and everything was great from there on out. Whenever we tried to reach our contact she was always quick to call us back or meet with us. Working with the Holiday Inn was a good experience, I attribute it to the catering/event director who worked one on one with us. I highly recommend this venue.

Hello everyone, I got married recently on 27-Nov-2010 at Holiday Inn, Washington Dulles Airport and I must admit am very satisfied with the output and services of Holiday Inn. I would also like to specially thank Taylor Young, Wedding Specialist & Catering/Sales Manager. She has been a continuous support and helped us very patiently throughout the event plan and during the final day. I received good response from all my guests about the overall outcome. I strongly recommend Holiday Inn at Washington Dulles Airport as one of the best places to get married in VA. Thank you!

We worked with Taylor Young. She was very professional and easy to work with. We only had about 6 weeks to plan our wedding and with Taylors help this was no problem. The hotel offers several packages, we chose the Gold package which included a cake and flowers. We just had to meet with the vendors to pick what we wanted. After that it was delivered to the Holiday Inn and setup, we did not have to worry about it at all. We decided to go with the buffet dinner as well, which comes with a lot of food. There were several side dishes along with the main entrees and passed hors d'oeuvres. All the guest also stated that the food was great. The reception hall was very nice as well. The lighting was perfect and the tables looked great, the Gold package also comes with special linens. The part that my friends like the most was the open bar, the package includes 4 hours of open bar. The bar tender was fast and there was never really a line.

We had the ceremony at the Holiday Inn as well in their courtyard under a large white tent. We were able to comfortably fit our 90 guest under the tent. Along with the great weather the atmosphere under the tent in the courtyard was great. The guest certainly did not mind waiting the 15 minutes before the ceremony started.

The thing that impressed me the most and the reason for the 5 star under professionalism and flexibility is that we had 3 people who decided they wanted to come to the wedding the day of. Taylor completely understood and did not hesitate to rearrange the tables and menu for the additional people. I would certainly suggest that take a look at the Holiday Inn at Dulles if you are planning a wedding.
