Holly hedge exceeded all of my expectation!!! I DIY'ed a lot of my wedding decor and was very worried about how everything would be set up. They did an amazing job putting everything where I wanted and they were very creative with some of my extra decorations. The reception hall looked exactly how I wanted it to! All of the staff was so very helpful and I truly felt special on my wedding day! The food is so amazing there. It has been a month since my wedding and I still hear people raving about the food. They are so flexible with everything and they really know how to work with your budget. As soon as I drove down the driveway I knew that this was the place for me. I am truly happy that I chose this location for my wedding.

Holly Hedge was elegant, romantic, and not stuffy ! The staff was AMAZING ! My guests were so happy with the food and accommodations. We had our VERY romantic ceremony in the New Barn. It was so much better than I even expected, and my husband and I felt like we were in a heavenly dream that day. Surrounded by great people who love us, fabulous surroundings, great bar and food service...and oh, the beautiful cake !

Holly Hedge is a dream! What a perfect location for a wedding reception! I loved every minute of my wedding weekend. We spent several days at the estate with family and friends and ended the weekend with the most amazing wedding one could ask for. The entire staff is awesome! They work with you and really want to make you happy!

My fiance and I first visited Holly Hedge in the fall of 2010 at the very beginning of our planning adventure. We instantly clicked with the bucolic Bucks County setting and the rustic elegance of the old stone bank barn, mixed with the modern conveniences of the reception barn. There was even a stunning courtyard in case of good weather and more than enough space for up to 200 guests and a 30 x 30 dance floor (which is huge.) The opportunities for photographs were seemingly endless, too, so that sealed the deal for us. Granted, Holly Hedge is not a budget venue by any means (one-of-a-kind does have its price) but after visiting in person, we didn’t even want to look at other venues.

At the time of our first meeting with Wendy, one of the on-site coordinators, we were considering an October 2011 date but that quickly changed when we realized this place books up about 16 months in advance! So...we left without a contract this time and took for a few months to revist our options. Plan ahead prospective brides - WAY ahead because Holly Hedge is no longer a secret!

When we finally got into the nitty-gritty of wedding planning, our next choice of date was New Year’s Eve 2011. We called Wendy and set up a meeting with my parents. That gave us just over a year to plan the wedding we wanted -- with one very minor snafu: turns out the owner had already promised the date to a friend but that had not yet been reflected in the master schedule. Whoops. With hearts temporarily sinking, we scrambled for a new date and landed on Friday, December 30. OK, so it wasn’t a NYE wedding but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as our anniversary will always be our own special day and not shared with a holiday. But enough about the less-than-ideal start! Things soon turned around once we accepted the changes and rolled with it. (See? Brides can be flexible, really.) We booked our ceremony and reception onsite.

Our relationship with all three of the staff coordinators, Wendy, Liz and Sara, quickly blossomed as everyone on staff realized that we were not planning a “typical” wedding. We had a very specific vision, partially inspired by my gown and the space. We wanted a winter Art Deco wedding with some romantic accents that would be emphasized by the rural setting and everything was to be period appropriate to the 1930s (I do mean everything, right down to the special orders for obscure liquors and coup champagne glasses.) Wendy and Liz got a TON of emails from me over the past year but they were so responsive and good about asking questions when they didn’t quite grasp what I was after that I never had a doubt that things would work out. They were always professional and courteous in our correspondence and lots of fun, too!

Overall, Holly Hedge provides exemplary service, award-winning cuisine that is as lovely as it is delicious (it was commented that this was the “best wedding meal ever”) and a one-of-a-kind venue in which to celebrate with loved ones. They are not always accustomed to creative and innovative ideas that challenge their well-oiled way of doing things but to be fair, they are willing to work with you. I’ve seen a lot of brides doc them points for flexibility and I have to agree that I got a similar vibe of resistance initially but I’m not docking any stars because ours was a very special situation. In the end, Joe, Wendy, and Sara bent over backwards to deliver absolutely everything we wanted with style and grace. This particular story has a very happy ending and we are so grateful.

Sara was a delightful day-of coordinator (she also ran our rehearsal) and so easy to approach with questions. I felt safe in her hands as she dealt with late arrivals and last-minute gawkers only seconds before I was walking down the aisle. I didn’t stress over anything and she continually checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were OK. She was gracious and calm and generally pleasant to be around so I put all of my faith in her abilities and allowed myself to relax and enjoy my own wedding. I cannot thank her and the entire waitstaff enough for their professionalism.

My final word to prospective Holly Hedge brides is this: book your wedding here if you want sophisticated charm and country elegance at a venue with a reputation for excellence. You will not be...

HollyHedge Estate was the perfect place for our wedding. We were looking for a unique place that was rustic and charming. We found all that and more at HollyHedge Estate. Wendy, Liz, and JC were wonderful to work with. From the moment we stepped onto the estate, the staff was professional and alert to all our needs. They were more than willing to accommodate my gluten-free dietary restrictions. The whole event went off without a hitch, but my favorite part was the ceremony. The old barn was the most intimate and unique setting ever. The atmosphere was INCREDIBLE and since it was a winter wedding, the fireplace was lit, candles were everywhere, and luminaries lined the walkways. It was absolutely stunning. HollyHedge helped us to do a candle lighting at the ceremony and it was the most beautiful event I’ve ever been a part of. I will never forget how incredible it was there and my guests could not stop commenting on how intimate and lovely it was. It is also the best place to take photos since the estate is so picturesque. The reception was wonderful as well and the food was DELICIOUS. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the cake was a huge hit. My guests were so pleased with the professionalism and kindness of the staff and we enjoyed every detail that Wendy and Liz helped us plan and execute. They worried about all the details we didn’t want to! It was so fun to continue the party in the old barn again after the reception and so many of my guests spent the night. It was like our own little fairytale and nobody wanted to go home! JC made it so easy to accommodate my guests overnight. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful and we were all sorry that we had to leave. HollyHedge Estate is one of the most unique and intimate settings for a wedding. We felt personally invested in and it was the most amazing event of our lives. I cannot recommend this venue enough. For those brides who want a stunning and unique day unlike any other, then HollyHedge Estate is the place for you!

Hollyhedge was wonderful and I am so happy we decided to have our wedding there. My family keeps raving about how it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Hollyhedge makes it so easy, yet they allow you to make the wedding your own. Wendy is amazing so work with her if you get the chance.

My husband and I were recently married at the Hollyhedge Estate. We cannot say enough good things about our wedding, and neither can our guests. The estate itself is beautiful and romantic. The food at our wedding was amazing, and people raved about it. What really makes this place outstanding is the staff. Liz and Wendy handled every detail for us, which really helped to make the wedding planning process as stress free as possible. They were so cooperative and flexible, and were truly a pleasure to work with. In addition, JC the inn keeper was wonderful with all of our guests. Sara, our attendant the night of the wedding ensured that we enjoyed our wedding while still giving us time to thank our guests. We are so thrilled with the way our wedding went, and are frankly sad that it is all over. We plan on staying at the estate for our one year anniversary! The grounds were beautiful, the service was amazing, and even though you didn't see anyone working the event, everything was taken care of before you could even think to ask it.

Our wedding at HollyHedge turned out to be as perfect as we had envisioned it when we first visited this gorgeous venue. So many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding venue they'd ever been to. People were raving about the food - especially the selection of hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour and our delicious coconut wedding cake. The entire staff - particularly Wendy, Liz, Sarah and JC - were so professional and extremely attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. The staff went out of their way to make the day truly special and stress free for us. It was our dream setting for our wedding and we were not disappointed.

Holly Hedge Estate was truly amazing to work with from beginning to end. Wendy, our coordinator, was absolutely fabulous. They made our dreams a reality and everything turned out even better then we could ever have imagined. All our our guests were simply stunned and blown away by how gorgeous the venue was and how amazing the food tasted. Our wedding at HollyHedge Estate was truly magical. The location is beautiful and the entire staff was amazing! Wendy, liz, and Sara (who helped plan/ shape/ and execute the wedding) are the best! The innkeeper was wonderful as well. Our honeymoon suite was first class and one of a kind! The entire property was full of old-school charm and whimsey. We received many compliments about the venue, staff, and food. Oh, the food! Our appetizers set the bar high with unique choices complimented by accessible favorites (such as ahi tuna on an udon spoon, asparagus puff pastries, gourmet sliders, and taste of grilled cheese with a side of gazpacho) but the entrees rose to the challenge producing delicate fish and filet so tender it could be cut with a fork. So to recap... great venue, excellent staff, easy to work with, and amazing food...enough said.

If you want a wedding you will never forget, I highly recommend HollyHedge Estate. The venue was beautiful and I received so many compliments on the food. Wendy and Liz made planning the wedding so easy! Not once did I have to worry that our wedding would not be perfect! Thank you!

My Husband and I fell in love with this place the first night that we visited. We loved how the space allowed you indoor and outdoor options that were beautiful.

Four things really stood out in my mind about this place. The first was the lovely ceremony space. Because Liz, (the wedding cooridinator) checked the weather frequently, we were able to hold our wedding outside with some sense that we weren't going to get stormed out. During the cocktail hour we went on the balcony with the best man and maid of honor for our speeches, and the view was truly breathaking.

Liz was wonderful - the staff was wonderful. We had our own server who made sure our glasses were never empty and thought to do things that we would never have considered which made the day go so much smoother.

The servers and bartenders got in on the action in the best possible way - adding to the party atmosphere.

And finally, the food was excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding.

I loved HollyHedge Estates! My wedding was perfect! The staff was beyond accommodating and went out of their way to ensure all of my needs and my guests needs were met. The food was amazing. My guests called me weeks following the wedding to tell me how good the food was. I loved my wedding and could not have picked a better place!

My daughter's wedding was on an overcast day so her dream of an outdoor ceremony was in question. Wendy Hendricks, an event planner at Holly Hedge, monitored Doppler radar, and was willing to switch the set up outside at the last moment to please us! The estate is so breathtakingly beautiful with the sweetest stone buildings, gorgeous brick terrace and the wedding was even more perfect than we ever imagined. Our guests raved over the filet mignon, and the grilled salmon entrees. The wedding coordinator, Sarah, kept things moving along, but still was willing to go above and beyond, helping guests and the bride all night, and was so gracious no matter what. Our closest family stayed with us that night and everyone loved their comfortable rooms. We really felt as if it was our own home, and we made ourselves comfortable with tea and snacks after the other guests had gone home. The next morning, early risers were greeted by cheerful J C, the innkeeper, and the most delicious coffee, strolling around the pond. When breakfast was served, no one could decide which was yummier, the Very Berry Pancakes or one of the fabulous omelets. No one went hungry, that's for sure, and we loved the friendly homey atmosphere where we get our dishes from the china cabinet and help ourselves to juice, croissants, homemade coffee cake or fruit. We just could not say enough about the lovely wedding that came true thanks to Holly Hedge Estate. It was truly a lovely day and exactly what we wanted!

We had a wedding there on 4/29/11 and everything about the place and staff was fabulous! Georgeous grounds, lovely buildings, good food, helpful staff, etc. etc. High recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic and comfortable setting.

We could not be happier with our HollyHedge wedding. Superb and responsive staff. A rustic, private, fairytale location. Delicious food. Our wedding was in Sept at HollyHedge. We could not have been happier with everything. We rented out the B&B for our guests, which just made everything more special because we all got to share in an delicious breakfast the next morning.
The staff was so easy to work with and put all of my fears to rest. They were so welcoming and professional we could not have asked for better people. The grounds are also very beautiful, we got so make good pictures with amzing backgound. I would recommend HollyHedge to everyone, from the appetizers to the spectular dinner it was all top notch!!!

The first time we spoke to and met the staff we fell in love with the Holly Hedge experience. The event planner's Liz and and Wendy spectacular. Every wish of the bride and groom were answered ten-fold. Their staff from the cocktail hour through the reception were outstanding. The food, the service, the entire presentation was excellent. The grounds were beautiful, serene, peaceful.
The Inn Keepers Tricia and Sue could not do enough for our family and guest. They went above and beyond the call of duty. The entire event was Magical.

HollyHedge and its staff was an absolute dream. Aside from being one of the most beautiful venues in the greater Philadelphia area, the staff was warm, professional and on point. They did an absolutely amazing job with every detail. They accommodated our every wish. Wendy and Albie went through great length to make sure everything was perfect. Albie, who was the manager on the floor and with whom we did most of our booking and planning, made sure to come check on us several times during the night. He even served our dinner personally and came back to make sure it was delicious! (Which it was!) Everyone raved about how incredible the food and the cake were. Even our pickiest eaters cleaned their plates! Having our wedding at HollyHedge was a dream come true. Everything went smoothly, and everyone had a blast! Even almost two years later, after attending plenty of other weddings, our family and friends still talk about ours! It is like every other wedding is compared to ours! All thanks to Albie, Wendy, Dan, and the amazing staff at the beautiful HollyHedge Estate!

HollyHedge was a dream venue for us! Albie Snyder and the rest of the staff were so generous with their time, so flexible, and really fun to work with. My husband and I are both vegan, so the team worked hard to help create a vegetarian wedding that was not only delicious, but also comforting to our guests. Albie was exactly the kind of person you want helping you on your wedding day - attentive, responsive, kind, and really focused. He completely set us at ease on our big day, so that we didn't have to stress about any of the little details and could just enjoy our wedding for all it was meant to be. HollyHedge also happens to be absolutely beautiful - our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful everything looked - a lot of people actually told us that our wedding was the best one they'd ever attended! For the animal lovers out there, HollyHedge has a small piece of land on the premises with very friendly, sweet goats that we were able to interact with, which was a huge highlight of my weekend. It was a home away from home for us, and being married there proved to be a true reflection of our love for each other. I would highly recommend HollyHedge to anyone looking to be married at a very unique, captivating venue with an attentive and loving staff.

Our aim was to have a romantic, rustic, no-frills kind of wedding that would still be memorable, and Hollyhedge delivered. The fall setting was incredibly idyllic, and the comfort food selected for our menu (sliders, grilled cheese, roast turkey with cranberry walnut stuffing, etc.) was possibly the tastiest we've ever been served at a wedding. Coming from NYC, we found the prices to be more than reasonable - plus the inclusion of the cake and floral centerpieces made the cost even more attractive.

Our coordinator Liz is top-notch. She saw that we got everything we requested - right down to the cream cheese icing on the cake! From the moment we met her, we knew her no-nonsense style would make her the perfect person to help execute our big day. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but she and her team handled so many elements (coordinating the cake, staging our ceremony, delivery of the flowers, etc.) that we were never really worried how the day would unfold.

The B&B was also a perfect opportunity to unwind after the event. Tricia and Susan took great care of the guests that stayed the night of the wedding, and they really made us feel at home when we stayed an additional few days as a sort of mini-honeymoon (the big one happens next year). We even came in one night to find slices of fresh-made coconut pound-cake waiting for us on our nightstand (yum!).

The entire event was flawless and we can't wait to go back and stay for our anniversaries! If you want an event that is simple and rustic, yet charming and romantic, you can't do better than the Hollyhedge Estate.

The wedding was amazing! When I (the silly bride) left my flowers in the bridal sweet and realized it moments before walking down the aisle Albie sprinted around the building in the rain to retrieve them and made it back before my big entrance!

My experience with the Holly Hedge Estate was nothing but the most positive possible. The entire staff from was so accomadating, friendly, and supportive through the whole process. The end result became the wedding of my dreams and when I look back I can't stop smiling. The wedding coordinators, Liz and Albie and the Inn keepers, Tricia and Sue are amazing. Whenever we had a question or concern they were always there to listen or answer our questions. The wait staff was very professional and made cocktail hour and the reception go off without a hitch! The food from appetizers to the main course to the cake was delicious!!! Our pictures are going to be amazing because of the natural beauty. The grounds of The Holly Hedge are beautiful, I fell in love with it the moment I stepped foot onto the property! I felt as though I were right at home during the entire process. I am so grateful to everyone there that I can look back on our special day and say "it was perfect." Our family and friends are still talking about how wonderful everything was and how much fun they had. I can't say enough about how great my experience was!!

Holly Hedge helped create the outdoor wedding of my DREAMS! They were willing to trim bushes a little so my audience could best see me; they have such a romantic decor; the landscaping is so picturesque; they really did whatever they had to do in order to accommodate my dream. I had to make very few concessions . . . as a matter of fact, I can't think of one! The wedding coordinator named Liz worked magic for me. Everything about the estate's landscaping is just so quaint, so charming, so . . . photographic. And it was really important to me that their reception hall is large enough to accommodate all my guests . . . I'd been to a wedding at a hall nearby, and the guests were split into one room for eating and another for dancing. Guests ate and danced all in the same room at Holly Hedge. I had been trying to prepare myself for something to go wrong with my big day, as I've heard something always does, but EVERYTHING about my wedding went perfectly at the Estate! I can't wait to see my wedding photographs taken there!

From the moment we arrived at HollyHedge Estates to tour the facility until we said goodbye after the wedding we were comfortable with the staff, relaxed, happy and able to enjoy every aspect of our daughter's wedding. Our wedding coordinator was professional yet she felt like a friend of the family, and we will all miss working with her.

Since we spent 24 hours at HollyHedge, from the start of our rehearsal luncheon, to the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after-party at the barn, renting the mansion for the night and brunch the next morning, we had many special requests, all met with a smile for our coordinator. Planning the wedding was stress free!!

The innkeeper and staff went well beyond the call of duty - they were helpful and friendly to our guests. We had two infants spending the night, and the innkeeper was especially accommodating and helpful to all of our needs.

The food was delicious, service terrific, atmosphere lovely!! My only regret is that we cannot do it all over again!!

My wedding was definitely the best day of my life, thanks to Holly Hedge. I was not a bride that had everything planned out, so Holly Hedge definitely surpassed my expectations regarding organization and wedding planning. My wedding day could not have gone smoother and many of my guests said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The staff was responsive to everything we asked and they were extremely accommodating to all of our guests. The property is beautiful and it was really great to wake up and be able to have breakfast with all of my guests staying at the inn.

We had a 25th wedding anniversary/vow renewal ceremony at Holly Hedge. It was a small affair just for our children and mothers. We were treated by Albie as though it were a wedding complete with cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, and dessert out on the patio. It was a 4-hour event with the head chef coming in to prepare our meal and Albie acting as bartender, server, and wedding photographer. We used the courtyard for our vow renewal ceremony and the main house for the meals with time for photographs on the gorgeous estate. Our grown children were delighted as our little celebration was a beautiful event thanks to Holly Hedge. Would recommend them for any important event you wish to cherish.

From the first time we visited Holly Hedge, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The gorgeous landscaping, the quaint feeling of the inn, the charm of all the unique buildings and guest rooms, and the overall rustic yet elegant vibe�it was as if the vision in our heads had instantly come to life!

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful (even our guests commented on that), but I couldn�t have imagined our wedding day coming together as perfectly as it did if it wasn�t for Liz. Liz Stout was our event planner and she was unbelievably helpful. From the first time we met with Liz, she was enthusiastic about making our ideas reality and helping us create our ideal wedding day. Liz worked with us on every detail and always did her best to accommodate our requests. She had patience for all of our relatives and vendors (um, even the overbearing ones) and made every effort to ensure that our every whim was fulfilled. Liz is a definite asset to Holly Hedge and we appreciate all of her hard work that made our wedding day a success.

For weeks after the event, guests continually commented on how delicious the food was and how charming the accommodations were. Holly Hedge truly does feel like an escape to a magical place, and you should be proud of the wonderful establishment you�ve created. We are so glad we were able to experience all that Holly Hedge has to offer for our wedding.

Our experience at Holly Hedge was beyond spectacular. Although it was not an inexpensive venue, it was absolutely worth every penny. Albie, the on-site wedding coordinator, was wonderful during the entire wedding day as he took care of things so that my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything at all. We would highly recommend Holly Hedge to couples looking for an unforgettable wedding (our guests are still talking about it a month later) at a unique and elegant venue.

We knew that our wedding would be exceptional at HollyHedge Estate, but we have to say that it was even better then we ever had imagined!! The venue was breathtaking and the staff was phenomenal. We checked in on Friday (for our Saturday wedding) with our friends and family, and made it a weekend long festivity. We held various events (rehearsal dinner, after party following our reception and Sunday brunch) at the Estate - each event was perfect, with its own personal touch, and a lot of fun. We have received compliments upon compliments, with the consensus being that this is one of the best weddings anyone has attended - between the unique and beautiful grounds, the staff and most importantly, the food - it was an incredible weekend and the perfect place to get married!

We recently got married at HollyHedge and everything was absolutely perfect. From the day we booked it as our venue through the day after the wedding, the staff at HollyHedge made the planning and execution process effortless. At one point I got nervous because the whole process was so easy, I thought that I must be forgetting or neglecting something - but my worries were in vain, they took care of everything. The grounds and facilities are gorgeous and certainly make for a beautiful, unique wedding venue. Having the guest rooms on site made it a wonderful weekend for our immediate family and close friends. All of our guests commented that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to. We also received a ton of compliments on the food - something that is rarely good at weddings. Not only was the food displayed beautifully, but the quality was excellent. Overall I have no complaints - HollyHedge was perfect.

HollyHedge does a truly remarkable job. Their staff is attentive to not only the bride and groom but the guests as well. The food is excellent, the cake was wonderful, and the venue is perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding.

Everyone at Hollyhedge was extremely helpful, laid back, and professional. They made the whole wedding planning much less stressful. They provided great suggestions to make our day go off without any problems (which it did!) however were more then happy to do whatever we wanted as well. They were very flexible and responsive to e-mails. They also provided a list of preferred vendors which we worked off of and were very happy with all of them! We find ourselves very lucky to have found the perfect venue and people to help us with our big day. We look forward to spending our anniversaries there for years to come!

HollyHedge was terrific. We have received so many good comments on the venue and all the items associated with it (food, cake, service, etc.). My parents and in-laws have commented too how easy they were to work with and how smooth the whole wedding day went. My new husband and I have no complaints! Our wedding went just how we planned. There weren't any problems at all. Very easy, very smooth, and stress-free!
They also gave our grandmother special attention since she was in a wheel-chair.
One of my childhood friends told us that this was the most elegant and classy wedding he has been to. We are still getting wonderful comments from friends and family about HollyHedge and our wedding in general. Other than the summer heat on that day I wouldn't have changed a thing! Thank you!!!

No one can stop talking about how relaxed and intimate our ceremony was and what a blast we had at the reception. I was very impressed with the food and the portions were huge! My husband is a chef and food was very important. Everything seemed effortless to me (the bride) and our guests because of the hard work and professionalism the wedding co-ordinator (Albie) and his staff at Holly Hedge. Although I live in another state and work full time the wedding co-ordinator was patient and always available. Every detail (that I hadn't even thought of) was taken care of with elegance. Holly Hedge Estate made our wedding an unforgettable day from start to finish. Everyone who attended had such a fabulous time. Albie and Trish were amazing! Trish made everyone who stayed at the Inn feel like there were at home, she was so gracious and truly kind to all our friends and family. Albie took great care of my husband and I making sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were happy. I would DEFINITELY recommend this to any couple who wants to have a spectacular wedding.

Liz, Alby, Tricia, Sue, Chef Dave and the whole entire staff at Holly Hedge were absolutely amazing. Our every wish was granted, and it was the most stress-free experience! The venue is breathtaking and every one of our guests continue to gush about how fantastic the service, food, and atmosphere was. They were truly touched by the level of care that was provided. Our wedding experience with HollyHedge Estate was absolutely wonderful. I can't imagine a more beautiful place, more helpful, warm, professional, fantastic people to work with. We all felt so cared for, and relaxed the day of the event because of their level of competency. It truly was a "fairytale" wedding and HollyHedge staff had everything to do with that.(Perfect weather didn't hurt :-). ) We were told by so many guests that it was by far the most wonderful wedding they had ever been too, we agree! This review includes the Inn as well, the Inn staff kept the wonderful "glow" alive for the weekend for all of our guests. HollyHedge makes you feel like your event is the only event they've ever done. a tremendous feat considering all the weddings they do.

HolyHedge was an amazing venue and has the most professional and courteous staff. The grounds were gorgeous and the facility is highly maintained. I felt that the event coordinators did everything to accommodate me! The actual day was amazing and I would recommend HH to any bride that wanted to get married in the New Hope area. The food was delicious! From the sliders to the filet, everyone loved it! There was nothing but good things to say!

There is so much to say about Holly Hedge that I don't know where to start. The venue is amazingly beautiful and unique - a very important element for us. The food was outstanding, and the staff was so kind and attentive. The planning went smoothly and easily, and the day turned out even better that I had ever imagined. We couldn't have asked for anything more. And six months later, our guests are still telling us how much fun they had, how beautiful everything was, and how great the food was. Holly Hedge made the most important day of our lives the best day we have ever had. We highly recommend them.

Our wedding coordinator, Alby, was excellent from start to finish. We planned our wedding from out-of-state and the services that Holly Hedge offered were excellent. The first time we visited the Estate we realized that the blend of beauty and rusticness perfectly reflected our visual aesthetic as a couple. From there, Alby helped us plan all the details. We attended a complimentary food tasting dinner which was also attended by some of Holly Hedge's preferred vendors. From this experience, we chose our menu, our florist, and our ceremony musician. All of our other vendors were chosen from their preferred vendors list. Our original plan to have our ceremony in the courtyard were thwarted by triple digit temperatures, but Holly Hedge offered the "old barn" as a plan B. It worked out perfectly and was absolutely stunning. The grounds were lush and well-kept and provided an excellent background for photos. The reception was wonderful, the food delicious, and the service provided by all of the staff is to be commended. Alby was on-site the entire night and quietly and efficiently handled all issues that happened to arise (including one unruly guest...which I heard about AFTER the honeymoon!). We booked the entire Inn for our guests, and heard nothing but rave reviews on the sleeping quarters, breakfast, and service. Even after the wedding, when our groomsmen "lost" their tuxes, Holly Hedge helped us find them. Thank you Holly Hedge Estate for making this truly an event of a lifetime!

Hollyhedge was delightful, elegant and relaxed - just what we were looking for. Alby was fun to work with during the planning stages--he coordinated the ceremony and reception seamlessly so we could relax and enjoy our wedding. We loved being able to stay at the inn, waking to a delicious breakfast and spending that much longer with our families and friends. Our guests are still calling us (and our parents) to tell us how romantic and fun the day was. How perfect!!

They truly made our day, "OUR DAY". We had the grounds to our selves all day, Liz was right there when we stepped out of the limo asking what she could get us, we were brought drinks and food during pictures, and never had to ask for anything because they were always one step ahead! From the time we arrived until checkout the next day we were completely taken care of - Liz, Albie, and Trish were all wonderful! Almost a month later, people are still talking about it!

Gorgeous! Cannot say enough great things about this venue. Food was fab and grounds impeccable. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect! Any small issues that seemed to come up were addressed immediately and the wedding and reception went off without a hitch.
One thing they might wasn't to address is the uneven steps and patio since one of the bridesmaids feel down the stairs just minutes before the ceremony and several guests were tripped up in the chapel on some uneven ground covered by some carpeting. Not too much harm done but potentially dangerous what with ladies in high heels and elderly guests.
Liz handled the wedding coordination perfectly and even played a stand in for the pastor at the rehearsal since he was unable to attend.
Very secluded and private. A winner.

Your dreams of a fairytale wedding as a little girl become treasured memories at Hollyhedge. Having been married there myself on 6/4/11, I speak from experience.
Hollyhedge is elegant, lush, and unbelievably romantic. Picture a fieldstone manor estate accented with adjourning gardens, which in turn are connected by brick and gravel pathways. The pathways and structures are bordered by seamless, holly-draped barrier walls fortified against charming wrought iron gates. You can imagine that Hollyhedge creates an unparalleled wedding backdrop, making for exquisite photos (mine were all so amazing I’m having a hard time choosing the ones for my album!).
From start to finish, working with the staff at Hollyhedge was a delight, and by far the easiest of all my wedding-related affairs combined. They will handle everything for you…seriously. All you have to do is communicate what you need and they will miraculously pull it out of their “Mary Poppins” bottomless bag of fix-it’s and possibilities!
The staff is attentive and flexible for whatever you (or your guests’) needs may be. One of the individuals who attended my wedding had recently undergone a hip replacement. Knowing that an estate wedding would require a certain amount of mobility, she contacted Hollyhedge to inquire about the possibility of renting a wheelchair from a medical equipment company. Instead of a referral, they offered her a personal golf cart for the evening (complete with a chauffeur of course). She was provided with door-to-cart service from the moment she left her vehicle at valet, to the moment she returned to claim it at the end of the night. My parents still refer to this example whenever a conversation concerning “exquisite customer service” comes up. It is one of many things on which HollyHedge will far exceed your every expectation.
If you have out-of-town guests, don’t look for accommodations anywhere else because the B&B at Hollyhedge is as charming as it is accommodating. The atmosphere is classic and elegant. Innkeeper JC will make you feel like a VIP every step of the way, and they will customize your needs to very bottles of water or wine you leave for your guests in their designated rooms.

What really blew my mind is that the food at Hollyhedge measured up to the same level of excellence as its unique and exquisite ambience. In short, the food was phenomenal – from the cocktail hour to the reception meal and the picture-perfect brunch (which is included in any overnight guest’s stay) the next morning. Once again, Hollyhedge will customize everything according to your needs, from special dietary restrictions to unique foods and/or recipes, there is nothing they cannot accommodate. And, if you book your wedding at Hollyhedge you will thoroughly enjoy the menu selection and food tasting event; which features a decadent spread of appetizers, entrees and desserts diverse coupled and the melodic sounds of a quartet in the background.
If you’re looking for a unique, classic yet customizable wedding venue you cannot beat Hollyhedge. As a perfectionist, I researched every venue along the eastern seaboard, yet time and again, all of my research kept leading me back to Hollyhedge. Newly married and looking back on everything, my husband I consistently agree on one thing: when it comes to everything we had to choose between and from for the wedding, Hollyhedge was by far the best decision we made.

HollyHedge is an absolutely beautiful location that we would recommend to anyone. We selected this location because we really wanted the ceremony to be outside but in the event that it had to be inside we loved the old bar location. Turns out we ended up having the ceremony inside but we were able to have cocktail hour outside. It was an amazing day and we would recommend the site to anyone.

The staff was incredibly professional, supportive and did whatever was necessary to meet our expectations for this very important event in the life of our family. We did end up upgrading liquor choices and using our own florists and wedding cake providers. As with the musicians we hired, HollyHedge Estate, and Albie in particular, made sure that the vendors needs were met and that all ran smoothly. The innkeeper was equally accommodating. Our stay at the bed and breakfast, and our guests, was wonderful. Courteous, non-obtrusive, gracious hosts all around. The food was superb and the setting gracefully elegant.

Totally worth the money! Holly Hedge takes care of so many of the little details that normally stress out a bride, the location is GORGEOUS (you will get such awesome wedding photos here), the inn is lovely, the ceremony options (several outdoor and at least one indoor) are wonderful, items included in the price (reception with great food, set up of favors/placecards/decorations, champagne toast, cocktail hour with awesome appetizers, open bar, amazing wedding cake, flower centerpiece credit, tables, linens, servers, tip) are great! We got a discount because we picked a holiday that wasn't super desireable but, after experiencing Holly Hedge for our wedding, we would have paid full price if we had to do it over again. Our only issues with Holly Hedge were: 1. Inn rooms for overnight guests aren't very handicapped accessible b/c of narrow doorways, steps, shower facilities in room (although during the ceremony/reception, handicapped guests were able to get around to different levels of the property via a fabulous golf cart, which was a big help). 2. No lighting on most of the property after dark, so it's pretty dangerous for guests trying to get to their cars (you should consider providing flashlights to guests after a reception that ends after dusk). Other than those items, A-MAZ-ING. We absolutely LOVED, loved, loved Holly Hedge.

We had our wedding reception (total of 190 guests) at Holly Hedge in New Hope PA in May 2009 (our ceremony was at a local church). Holly Hedge was an absolutely spectacular place to have our wedding. The actual grounds and buildings at Holly Hedge are beautiful. The cocktail/barn area is really unique. We had guests come to our wedding from all over the country, and still are hearing compliments about how beautiful our wedding reception was. The food at Holly Hedge is the best I've had at a wedding. The chef is very thoughtful, creative, and flexible--and the end product is delicious. The presentation was excellent.
I primarily worked with Liz, but also had interaction with Alby as we got closer to our wedding. Both were organized and responsive. They were also flexible and did their best to honor our requests. I really felt they personally wanted our day to be as amazing as possible. Also, Tricia and Sue who work at the Inn are so helpful, and really sweet people. The proximity to the New Hope/Lambertville town centers is a definite plus (we had a fun time with post wedding drinks and pizza at Fran's pub)! I'm so thankful that we were able to have our wedding at such a wonderful place.

Being married at Holly Hedge was like stepping into the pages of a fairy tale book. Surrounded by the winding country roads and historical homes of Bucks County, PA, the grounds are idyllic. Charming stone buildings, a cobblestoned courtyard, and naturally graceful landscaping create the feeling of being on the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Having never been to a wedding there ourselves, we were unsure about the quality of the serice and food--but Holly Hedge did not disappoint. Our planning process was made easy with the help of our onsite Event Coordinator, Liz. Whether it was taking us through our menu and wine selections, helping us formulate our order of events, or answering our seemingly weekly e-mails full of questions, Liz was always professional, knowledgeable, gracious, and accommodating. She was phenomenal and we are deeply grateful for her guidance.

The food, as it turned out, was delicious. A few months before our wedding we were invited to a tasting at Holly Hedge, where we were able to sample a large variety of cuisine to help us narrow down our choices. It was not only a big help in terms of creating our menu, it was reassuring to know that the quality of our guests' dining experience would be exactly as we had imagined.

Overall, our experience at Holly Hedge was everything we could have hoped for. From the magical setting to the friendly and warm staff, Holly Hedge is lovely and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

HollyHedge was the most beautiful venue for our outdoor ceremony and recepetion. Albie was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!! We can't thank him enough. Tricia, the innkeeper was amazing and welcoming. All of our guests are raving about the grounds (and it wasn't even summer with all of the flowers in bloom) and the overall feel of the estate. People have made many comments that I was the happiest bride they had ever seen and I attribute it to the experience at HollyHedge.

Holly Hedge was a perfect site for our February wedding. We booked out all of the rooms for guests to stay during their time in the New Hope area, and many commented on how friendly and helpful the staff at the inn were. And during the planning phases of the reception, both Albie and Liz (the event coordinators) were always available to answer my questions, help me make decisions, and plan the wedding process. During the reception itself Albie helped to keep my husband and I on track - without him there we likely would not have remembered to cut the cake! And when my husband and I arrived at the ceremony, Albie visited us while my mom was bustling my dress to give us some much-needed appetizers and drink. Like I said, it was those careful and pleasing attention to details that really made our entire experience with Holly Hedge great.

Holly Hedge's staff and estate were superb. We highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a picturesque, quiet, and romantic location, set back among the trees. All of the staff was friendly, accomodating, and extremely helpful at all times. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect ceremony and reception.

This venue really set the scene for the look of our wedding overall. The property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. It is so romantic and historic. The staff at Holly Hedge is incredible. I had zillions of questions through the course of our engagement, and all I had to do was shoot them an email and I always got a response the same day. The day of our wedding, we had Sarah as our day-of event coordinator and she was great. She would check in to see if we needed anything, and if we were good she would let us be. Our wedding day could not have been more stress-free because of Holly Hedge. We dropped off our decorations a few days before with instructions on where everything should go and the staff took care of it and did it perfectly. The wait staff was great too - my husband and I had our own server, who got us drinks whenever we wanted and event brought a plate of hors d'oerves to us while we were getting our photos during cocktail hour. We received so many compliments from guests on the food (especially the cake!) and we were amazed how everything ran on schedule! Holly Hedge is a little on the expensive side but they are good about not having hidden costs and include things that many venues do not such as gratuity, dessert, linens and centerpieces. I am so happy with decided to have our wedding here!

Our wedding at Holly Hedge was spectacular. The service is superb and the food is tremendous. Liz and JC provide special attention to detail and create a calm environment for a wedding. Ours was a small wedding (40 people) and the setting was absolutely perfect. We had a ball and I would recommend them without any hesitation. Our guests were thrilled and most thought it was the best wedding they ever attended.

HollyHedge was an amazing place to get married. I would recommend it to anyone. It allowed us to have an outdoor garden wedding and a big fun reception with lots of dancing and great food- in the same place! It is not cheap, but so much is included it is worth it. The staff is incredible. Our guests kept saying what a great spot it was. The food was so so much better than the tasting- I couldn't get over how great everything was. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else!

My only issue at all with HollyHedge was that they recommended Hairy Mary's to us to use for a florist, and they were awful. I think they should better screen businesses they recommend.

I am so happy we had our wedding at HollyHedge. I fell in love with the venue before we even got there via the photos online. When I got there and saw the establishment, I knew this was exactly the senic and warm setting I wanted to celebrate our special day.

Everything went off without a hitch and the entire staff was super helpful and polite. The food was so great also!

They did such an amazing job and took the worry off of my shoulders for the day. I truly recommend anyone to have their wedding at HollyHedge if you are looking for a unique and cozy atmosphere for the wedding.

Liz at the Holly Hedge was wonderful! She was great about keeping in contact with me from the time we booked the venue, but especially in the few weeks leading up to the event. She made sure that everything necessary was taken care of without ever seeming pushy. Above all she was fantastic on the day of the wedding itself - she was there for the entire time that our guests were there, making sure that everything went well. She was there when we needed her for anything, anticipated our needs, but she was never hovering over us - just showed up when necessary!

The only slight downside was the tasting for the meal. They only offer group tastings, not individual; at these group tastings, they only offer a selection, not their entire menu. They also have relatively few of these tastings, which was a bit difficult for us as we had to rearrange work schedules and travel 5 hours from our home when we had to go for a tasting (which we did twice). On the positive side, though, although the Holly Hedge policy is to not have individual tastings, they did offer several of the dishes that we specifically asked to taste when we had to go back for a second tasting, and we were able to come up with a fantastic menu!

The place is unique and definitely provides a location that is one of a kind and memorable. Loved my experience working with Albie! He was a wonderful planner who definitely went above and beyond his call of duty.

We highly recommend Holly Hedge to future bride and grooms. The grounds are beautiful, your ceremony can be performed outside (with a no-cost indoor back-up plan should it rain so you won't spend months worrying about the weather), and Albie, the coordinator, is fantastic and honest and was a great resource for helping us make menu and logistical decisions. The food was fantastic as well. Not the typical wedding food you expect when trying to cater 100+ guests. We highly recommend their desserts as well (we did a tiny ice cream cake from an outside store and then did a dessert buffet). The location is close to Lambertville and downtown New Hope, so overnight guests have some very nice hotel options. Most of our guests regretted not making plans to spend the entire weekend in New Hope/Lambertville because it is just so beautiful. My only dislike for Holly Hedge is the decor of the reception hall. There is a rockwall mural that I was not fond of and planters spread throughout containing fake greenery. This all can be covered if you want to hire someone and spend some money (which we opted not to do).

Holly Hedge did a great job with my wedding. I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue to have my reception at. Alby, the event coordinator, was a pleasure to work with--always friendly and open to ideas. The staff were helpful and the food was great. I would definitely recommend HH to anyone looking for a unique and intimate wedding setting. The only drawback is the 220 person cap on the indoor seating.

I would recommend Holly Hedge Estate. There are positives and negatives, that I have listed below. I dwelled on a negative because it really irked me and I think other brides should be aware. In the scheme of things, I would still do it again, all things remaining the same.

We had lovely weather, the food was excellent-not your typical wedding food, and the venue was beautiful! The mashed potato bar was a hit among so many guests (even though I intially didn't want it and the fiance talked me into it) Wendy was also a pleasure to work with.

Just a couple of cautions:

As with any venue, if you want something out of the box, make sure it's written on the first contract you sign. My fiance wanted lamb for dinner (guests were getting filet, salmon, or vegetarian) we had the "lamb for groom" on the contract, thank goodness, because I had to remind them about it. I can understand-people aren't going to remember things that were said a year ago, so make sure it's written down!

Some tables didn't have champagne for the toasts, and they realized too late. :(

And this was the worst part of the day, and why Professionalism got 2.5. They would have a 0 if it weren't for my previous dealings with Wendy. This instance bothered me for the rest of the night on my wedding day, and it really should have been handled at a different time, or with a different person (not me). After my mother asked the bartenders to take the tip jar down for cocktail hour (because we already paid gratuity), I got tag-teamed as I was walking away from the ceremony. Yes, me, the bride, right after the recessional, tag teamed by the girl coordinating the day, and the innkeeper JC, about having our dog in the room. (Even though the dog had visibly been around all day long all over the grounds - they decided it was a convenient time for them to inquire about it, right after the recessional, and even more crazy, right after my mom said to take the tip jars down) JC snidely said, "It would have been nice to know you were having a dog in the room". I explained, I already talked to Wendy about this. (That's how I knew I could only bring 1 dog, when I have 2 dogs, and I had to board our other dog that night) "Oh, well it's going to cost you "x" dollars more then." (hmm, to make up for the lack of tip jars?)

Then, we had an after party, Wendy told my mother to bring cash for that part of the night. My mom brought cash, the exact dollar amount that Wendy told her to bring, and the day of coordinator tried to tack on another $200.00 cash that night. I'm not sure if this is normal practice, or if the day-of coordinators are skimming off the top. Just speculating here.


I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND THIS VENUE!!!!

I looked at countless venues in the bucks county area, and nothing compared to Holly Hedge Estate. (others were too busy, planes from airport flew right overhead, tented, or $$$$$) I would still recommend this venue as number one in the area to others. I can't tell you how many guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

My fiance and I really wanted to find a wedding venue that, on the day of the wedding, we could just sit back and enjoy. Holly hedge did just that! We were treated extremely well throughout our stay and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about their stay and experience as well!

Planning went smoothly. Food was great, received lots of compliments from guests. Wedding coordinator was present the day of, running around and organizing all of the vendors and guests. I would plan another event at Hollyhedge in the future. The setting is beautiful and romantic, the guests loved it.

Holly Hedge has a beautiful setup andbackdrop for outdoor weddings. We were very happy with everything on our Wedding Day. Just wouldn't recommend staying overnight there unless you want complete seclusion. We got hungry around midnight and there was absolutely no one on the grounds to assist us in getting food or drinks or anything. Alby is a great help and has good ideas for wedding planning.

Holly Hedge Estate made our dream wedding come to reality. It was the perfect place for us. We both loved the Old Barn where we had our reception and the pond with water fountain and those big trees for a solemn ceremony. A great place for an intimate wedding.

The staff here is awesome and the grounds are just beautiful.
