I went to this vendor because more than one of my friends recommended them for "mam qua" rental. Indeed it is a good deal $3 a set included the boxes and the red cloth. We also rented a nice Calvin Klein suit however the selections for the tie and vests were not that great. The shop was busy and the ladies helped when they had a chance but it was difficult to get their attention after they gave you attention. They let us pick which vest and tie we wanted. Would recommend this shop if you are on a tight budget. They sell wedding dresses here at a very good deal.
I rented my wedding dress and vietnamese dress (ao dai) from this place and got a pretty good price for all the items. They clean, alter the dresses and are very flexible. I never thought I would rent my white dress there but I am glad I did so I can spend more money on other wedding items.
I rented chair covers, draping ( they included the lights for free) and flowers for the ceremony. They had really good deals and cheap prices. I save so much compare to other vendors. The room look so beautiful with the lights and draping. I am glad they were flexible enough and did not charge me a setting fee since the hotel required all decorations to be removed on the same day.
I went to Vi from Hollywood Bridal to rent a stage backdrop and decor for the main stage. I was looking for gold fabric drapery. She didn't have any in-stock but she said not to worry, she would go out and get it! Very accommodating! Her prices are ridiculously affordable. On my wedding day, the backdrop and decor were GORGEOUS!!!! The way they drape the gold fabric was very elegant. I only wish they would carry a portable steamer to steam the satin fabric. I can see the folding creases. At the end of the reception, the delivery guy was patiently hanging out in the van. He was in no way rushing us to start taking down the materials. They were great to work with. I prefer to communicate via email, which took a day or two for a response, but that's ok. If I was truly in a rush, I would've called them.
got my bridesmaid dresses here! WHOOT WHOOT!!
Luckily we can either buy or rent the dress. Since I got dresses here in the past and getting 6 of them, there dresses were only $65 to buy and $35 to rent! WHAT A STEAL!! OMG! I made a deposit for the dresses the next day! Can't wait for them to come in. The alterations for the dresses were a NO EXTRA charge! HELL YEA! You just can't beat that price!!
So, overall, love this place! if they don't have the dress you want in stock, try to find it somewhere else to try it on and come back to get it here if they have it!
Also your rental comes with free alterations!
Note: Cash only but I am not sure about the wedding dresses.. maybe they take credit cards if your purchases...
I visited a few other stores before I found a nice red and gold ao dai for my wedding at Hollywood. It came with a white semi see through outer layer. They altered the pants to fit me. My husband also rented his ao dai here. I believe it was 50 for mine and about 35 for my husband’s. I also got my wedding dress cleaned here. My mom picked up and she noticed that there were spots on it. When she brought it up to their attention they sort of just brushed her off. So I called them and they immediately told me to bring it in and they will clean it again. The second time around they got everything out. FYI they don’t vacuum seal the dress in a box.
The flowers I wanted from Hollywood Bridal turned out very pretty! All my guest loved them and the colors were exactly what I had in mind. I worked with Vi and sent pictures of what styles I wanted. It was a very easy process. Any changes I wanted made were easily accommodated. I love that they offer other services too so I booked them for lighting and chair covers as well.
I chose Hollywood Bridal because of their reasonable prices. I was on a budget with absolutely no room to splurge, so I was determined to get the most bang for my buck. I ordered boutonnieres for all of the guests who were attending the Tea Ceremony, centerpieces for the reception and bridal/bridesmaid bouquet. They have several albums with samples of their work. However, the style is very simple and basic. I knew what I wanted so I printed pictures of the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, centerpieces and boutonnieres and had them give me an estimate. I also order items for the tea ceremony (candle holders, Vu Quy sign, etc.), seat covers, photo backdrops for stage & photobooth, flowers for aisle runner, and two large flower arrangements at the photobooth.
My reception vendor decided to move my wedding into another ballroom, which was way too big for a wedding my size, in a week notice. Hollywood Bridal sat down with me and help me design a divider that would separate the cocktail from the reception. The result looked sooo much better than what we had designed. I was so grateful they came to my rescue and worked within my budget.
Overall, I was thrill with the results. Everything was beyond my expectation. If you have a budget in mind and want to get the most bang for your buck. I recommend giving Hollywood Bridal a try. Bring pictures of what you want and give them a list of the types of flowers you want. It will ease the negotiation process and yield great results.
We ordered our family boutonnierres from Hollywood Bridal (the main boutonnierres were ordered from Flower Allie). They definitely have the best prices, but the styles are very basic. We ordered simple orchid boutonnierres for family members.
We also ordered all of our tea ceremony decor through them: red table and wall cloths, columns/flowers, candles, signs, etc. We also ordered our flower girl head wreaths through them. They turned out much cuter than I thought they would be. We also ordered flower petals through them.
For basic floral needs, Hollywood Bridal is a good resource. However, all my other floral decor (centerpieces, altar arrangements, etc) were all ordered through another vendor. I feel that Hollywood Bridal has a slightly dated style, great for those who just like the basics. But for those who want truly customized and beautiful arrangements, I would shop around.
Finally, we went through Hollywood Bridal for our limousine, but you save a bit going through the limousine company directly.
Overall, I would use Hollywood Bridal again for all the above. For main floral decor, I would recommend my other florist, Flower Allie!
Great selection of bridal gowns for rental or purchase, including rental dresses and tuxes for the entire wedding party!
