Holy Trinity Parish
Bishop Anthony Santore allowed us to have a full Catholic wedding ceremony in an outdoor venue. Since we are both transplants to Washington DC and do not currently belong to a particular parish this was a very nice touch to our big wedding day and meant a lot to us and our families. Ultimately we had a nice Catholic wedding ceremony and Bishop Santore was a big part of that, however it would've been nice if he had remembered our last name when presenting us and remembered our request for a blessing in Italian as the bride's family is Italian. Bishop Santore has a small congregation in Herndon, VA and we decided to attend mass their several times in an effort to establish a relationship with him and determine if the parish was a good fit for us. Bishop Santore is an excellent choice if you want to do a Catholic wedding but either cannot or will not do it inside your church. I feel like he could do a better job of recruiting young couples to his parish through the wedding ceremony process as it felt a bit impersonal.
Father Santore did an amazing job officiating our wedding. He was very professional, guided us through all parts of the ceremony, and my parents told me he was quite helpful when he arrived early to the site. Just wish he'd gotten my name right; despite that, still give glowing reviews to have had him there to keep everything running so smoothly! It was nice to have a Catholic ceremony outside, and be allowed to marry a non-catholic without all the hooplah the Roman Catholics require.
Father Santore conducted a beautiful ceremony that was smooth and seamless (even without a rehearsal). If you are looking for a Catholic ceremony outside of the RC church, I would highly recommend learning more about Holy Trinity and working with Father Santore. He made our day truly special!
Bishop Santore was really easy to work with and was very flexible in any changes we had. He always made us feel welcome when we went to Holy Trinity Parish and we were very glad we chose him to perform the ceremony.
Father Santore was great! The ceremony was beautiful, we were so glad we found him.
Father Santore officiated our wedding ceremony two weeks ago, and it was beautiful. When we first met him, we were really drawn to his story and the focus of the Holy Trinity Parish. He was also so easy to work with and put us at ease before, during, and after the ceremony. Because he doesn't come to rehersals the day before, I was a little nervous that we would know what to do! But then when he came on the day of the wedding I realized that he is so good, there is really no need. he showed up almost 1 1/2 hours early on the day of and prepped and guided the bridal party, me and my fiance, and everyone else so expertly and calmly that not only was the ceremony beautiful and personal but seamless. We were so impressed and grateful to find Father Santore.
Father Santore did a wonderful job with our ceremony. He was flexible and responded quickly. We had a beautiful outdoor Catholic ceremony and I am happy with the service that he provided!
My husband and I had a very difficult time finding an officiant to marry us since he had been married before. We came upon Father Santore by a miracle. He was absolutely wonderful to work with and always listened to our worries/concerns and assured us that everything would be perfect, which it was. On our big day, we was in great spirits and was able to make us relax (my husband was very nervous). We had a great ceremony all because of Father Santore. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone getting married!!
Father Santori and the Holy Trinity Parish has been amazing. We had been searching for a church community for a few years in the DC area that had a good sense of community, and we found one that is exceptional.
We have been members of the parish for about 1 year now, and have enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Browns Chapel, and the great sense of community of Holy Trinity. We whole heartedly recommend both Father Santori and the Holy Trinity Parish as an excellent place for anyone who is looking to get married in the Catholic faith. Father Santori married us in October 2008, and made the day truly special and one to remember!
Fr. Tony Santore's personal touch and professionalism greatly helped in making our wedding in Saint Michaels, Maryland, a huge success. We now consider him a trusted family friend and attend his services. We highly recommend Fr. Santore and his parish colleagues for any function or special occasion.
Reverend Mr. Ron was the prefect choice for our wedding.
We needed a church that would marry a Methodist (groom) and a Russian Orthodox (bride). Holy Trinity is CACINA (catholic apostolic church in North America) and therefore the rites were similar to Orthodox Christianity.
If you require a good solid Christian based service for an inter-faith wedding , this church is the one for you.
Our wedding ceremony was beautiful. Father Tony helped us plan the ceremony and was very flexible when it came to our needs. It was basically effortless on our part and that's something that was very important on our special day. We highly recommend the services at Holy Trinity and encourage others to be parishoners. Brown's Chapel is a lovely location for a small and intimate wedding.
my husband and i wanted to get married catholic but our roman catholic church would not marry us because we had been living together. that is when a friend told me about a different kind of catholic church called holy trinity. we had a consultation with them and it was a great experience from then on... father tony helped us choose just the right ceremony for us ... everything was perfect from start to finish! we liked the folks at holy trinity so much we started attending sunday services. i highly recommend holy trinity to anyone planning their wedding!
