MY WEDDING DJ - Homemade Jam! Professional DJ Services

We could not have asked for more accommodating and professional DJ's. Site tour before hand and multiple phone calls to go over every last detail prior to the wedding to be sure everything went without a hitch. They worked very well with family who sang at our wedding to practice before the ceremony. Nothing was too much to ask. We rented chair covers from Homemade Jam and they fit well, were easy to put on chairs and weren't stained. Photobooth was such a fun experience for us, as well as all our guests. And the music was awesome! The dance floor was packed all night - people kept saying to us "we'd like to go and get another drink but we don't want to miss any of these great songs". We can't thank Terry and Gerri enough for the wonderful job they did and we would recommend their services to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

As with the planning of any event, you are bound to run in to issues. There are going to be things that happen beyond your control and things you couldn't have predicted, even with a crystal ball.

I didn't encounter many issues along the way, but when I did, even if they had nothing to do with what a DJ would normally do, Terry would have some sort of solution.

Our wedding reception was everything we dreamed it would be and more. Our guests are constantly telling us our reception was one of the best EVER.

One of our best wedding day decisions was deciding on Jerri and Terry as our DJ. Not only did they do a great job with our reception, but at late notice, our ceremony music as well.

When attempting to thank you, Aimee and I do not know where to begin. Planning a wedding can be daunting, and the two of you erased so much of the stress in that process. Because of you, our vision for the big day became a reality. Your acumen with music is something to marvel. We still laugh at the creativity for activities on the dance floor, and the song selection.

Your professionalism during the wedding ceremony and strong orating skills Gerri is something to be proud of. We've watched our ceremony on video, and it is truly special.

The decorating was what put everything over the top. Our initial fears were literally covered; and from the pictures posted, it is evident how magical the two of you made the reception area (both upstairs and downstairs).

Finally, our wedding event was unique in that it spanned the whole weekend. It is not that often you will find a vendor(s) who will become part of it (staying two nights), staying up late hours answering our questions, decorating, etc. We were honored to have you part of the experience.

We're forever grateful. Homemade Jam DJ Services were amazing to work with. They provided so many valuable resources and advice during the planning process.
Terry played a critical role as wedding planner on the day of - e.g. putting boutonnieres on the guys and making sure we were on schedule throughout the day. Gerri was our incredibly professional officiate.
They kept the party going the entire night! People from all age groups were constantly on the dance floor...up until 2 am. We have received so many compliments that the DJs were the best of any wedding our guests had attended. They're worth every penny!!

Terry and Gerri Humphries are the total package,we had a very unique wedding theme, ( Hillbilly/ Redneck ) Gerri preformed as our officiant at our wedding and was very flexable with our wishes and requests and was up for anything we asked of him and he did not disappoint us at all, he was amazing!!! Terry was our wedding planner and she was just as amazing, very organized, open and had awesome suggestions, advice and idea's and as our D.J's & MC of our ceremony, dinner and reception they were awesome, like I said they are the total package. They are very professional, organized, knowledgeable, and full of fun, they know what they are doing and do it amazingly, at the end of it all they became one of the family. We would highly recommend them to everyone. I know if anyone of our friends or family need them I will be booking them again.

Terry and Gerri were amazing! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and they were great at judging the crowd to keep the party going. The pre-wedding planner for the reception was very detailed and it ensured that nothing important was left out. The lighting was fabulous and the monogram lighting was so beautiful and added so much to the elegance of the room! My husband and I were married on June 16th, 2012. Terry and Gerri of Homemade Jam! did an absolutely amazing job. They are both extremely professional and well organized. The service they provided was way more than your average DJ service. Terry used her wedding planning skills to make sure everything ran smoothly; we had two meetings prior to the event to make sure we were all on the same page, on top of the rehearsal itself. Gerri was our officiant, and made the ceremony lovely; he was very well spoken and sincere. They both did an incredible job at the reception. They kept us all dancing throughout the whole evening; everyone loved the upbeat music and that there was such a large variety - something for all age groups. We only get one wedding, and we were both so happy to have Terry and Gerri there to help us celebrate our special day.

Working with Terry and Jerry was great, we could not have asked for better DJ'S. If we didn't have the lighting and the backdrop that they had our wedding would not have been the same.

Very considerate of precisely what we wanted for our ceremony. There was no forced or unannounced additions to our ceremony. Very concerned that our wedding went the way we desired.

Helpful in terms of coordinating the ceremony itself and making sure it went off as planned. Problem solving in those last stressful minutes was one thing that was done that was not expected, but, in the end, was much appreciated.

Homemade Jam made our wedding a blast! They were friendly and gave my husband and I ideas on music and games to keep the night rolling. I am so glad we went with them as our Djs because lets face it, thats the only part of the night your guests remember and talk about forever! They were very professional and played music that kept the dance floor full all night long! We didn't have to worry about music being played that we did like because you can tell them your likes and dislikes and they stick to it. If someone requests a song you have on you your "do not play list", they come talk to you first before playing it, and if you still don't want it played, they'll tell that person that song isn't available! I would highly recommend them to anyone! My sister-in-law is getting married next summer and Homemade Jam will be there! I'm so excited to once again dance the night away!

Terry and Gerri were awesome. The lighting decor, cocktail tables and backdrop they provided were beautiful. They were extremely helpful, professional and pleasant. Our day would not have went as smoothly without them. They are able to adapt and provide services they were not originally planned to do. Thanks alot guys.

Terry and Gerry were AMAZING. If it weren't for Terry helping organize the day of the wedding, we would still be there trying to figure everything out.
The music was phenomenal, nothing they played was a bore, and they kept even the elderly on the dance floor until 1 am.

What an AMAZING dj service. If your looking for professional and reliable dJ's Terry and Gerri are it! We had them travel to Muskoka for our September wedding. From the moment they arrived they were on top of everything. The rehursal ran very smoothly and was so beautifully organized down to every little detail. Gerri was our officiant for our outdoor ceremony and Terry was a perfect MC!! She knew excatly what was going on and when. The speeches and music were clear and perfect. We had so many people come up to us the next day with many compliments on our dj!... Our guests had a great time dancing all night long with HOMEMADE JAM! 100% recommendation! Terry and Gerri of Homemade Jam helped make all the little details of our wedding day run smoothly, and provided our family and friends with wonderfully suited music to dance the night away. When we were planning our wedding we came across so many people in the business who seemed disingenuous and in it for the money. It was refreshing and reassuring to come across these lovely people who were not only personable and caring, but exceptionally good at what they do. They provided us with excellent preplanning information, coordinated with our MC and officiate and had the experience to help execute the day flawlessly. We simply cannot say enough positive things about their services....nor can our guests. Many people invited to our wedding approached us afterwards and commented on how the music was ideal. This was fantastic to hear, as all we could really have asked for on our wedding day was for our friends and family to have the opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves-Homemade Jam made that possible.

Kevin and I would like to thank-you both for a excellent stress free wedding. We had lots of people ask about our DJ/Officiant but as Kevin liked to call you our "Rock and Roll Officiant". We wanted to have our motercycles in survice and you made sure that happened. Terry took the time to meet with us and understand all the little details of the day to ensure everything flowed smoothly and nothing was forgotten. Terry provided me with advice and suggestions to make everything from music to lighting personal. You don't need a wedding planner if you have Homemade Jam! Professional Wedding DJs!

I would definitely recommend these DJs for your wedding. After the first dance there was not a moment where the dance floor was not full. They played to the crowd and definitely kept the party going. When I was planning my wedding I had talked to a lot of couples who were married and said that they wished that they spent more money on a DJ and a photographer. I took their advice and I am so glad I did. For the price they are so worth it. I had Gerri be my officiant as well so it was a one stop shop. So easy for the bride who is very busy to be calling all around. And they come visit you before to discuss things. I couldn't imagine any other DJs. Terry was really helpful as well. She coordinated the whole day, made sure people were where they were supposed to be and even came up with some safety pins for me when my bussle on my dress broke right before my first dance!!! Definitely hire these DJs if you want your wedding to be the best day of your life like mine was!! Thanks Gerri and Terry!!!

Homemade Jam's service was excellent and the process was certainly the easiest of all our planning once they became involved. Very helpful and wouldn't hesitate to Homemade Jam for other events. Certainly have been to receptions were OTHER DJ services had been very poor and reflected on the entire evening....you get what you pay for. Don't take the chance on such a special event get the "half the price guy" you will regret it!! Thanks Homemade Jam for the wonderful night.

Matthew and I looked high and low for a DJ early on in the planning process. I just happened upon Gerri and Terry's website and looking back, I am so glad that I did! Gerri and Terry made the process so comfortable for us. They met with us twice prior to the wedding(along with many e-mails) and did not even blink an eye about the 2.5 hour drive to do so! We were impressed from day one to the wedding day. We would highly reccommend Homemade Jam to anyone who needs a DJ...they really do ROCK!

Homemade Jam! was absolutely amazing at our wedding. They played music for both our ceremony and our reception, and we couldn't ask for better! The attention to details that I would have overlooked, the suggestions for special dances, their interactive website and the time that they dedicated to helping us was amazing. Terry and Gerri DJ'd our wedding in 2009 and went the extra mile on what was a hectic day. They were professional and helpful with their advice through the entire process leading up to the wedding and on the actual wedding day fought through rain, lack of power sources and even power outages to provide what turned out to be an amazing wedding.

They have added many services since, but for our wedding in particular they were amazing at what they do best, keeping people on the dance floor all night long. They played a great mix of music and had a great feel for what the crowd was looking for. Also they held true to our requests of do-not plays and must-plays.

The fact that they were willing to play our ceremony music off of a generator-run ghetto blaster up on the hill where we were married just shows that they get the customer service aspect of things and will do what it takes to make sure your day is as easy and memorable as possible.

I work around a lot of weddings now. I have seen some great DJ's and some terrible DJ's. They may be a bit more expensive but both my wife and I agreed after the wedding we were glad we didn't cheap out and went with Terry and Gerri.

I found them to be very professional and really got involved in the entire wedding (gave great books out to help you plan the day etc). I also enjoyed having a login to their website where you could add to 'must play lists', 'do not play lists', etc. GREAT value for the money...and they are a fun, great couple as well!
