Hook Productions(Sheena and Randy) were amazing. Sheena always responded to our e-mails within a day of sending them. She sent us our preliminary itinerary in plenty of time for us to review it and make any changes which we did make one last minute change. We had not met Randy and Sheena prior to our event and everything was perfectly set up when we arrived at the reception. They took a request from a 3 year old that was in attendance. We were completely satisfied with the service Hook productions provided and would highly recommend them for your event.

Hook productions was awesome! They were so flexible working with us to make sure our day was perfect! We met once to go over details a few weeks before the wedding and then met again two days before to finalize everything which really helped to put my mind at ease! Sheena also helped me with the ceremony coordination which was wonderful! She came to our rehearsal and I really did not have to worry about a thing!!!! They were both professional and fun which was perfect!!!!

While Hook Productions were more expensive than other DJ companies, we got exactly what we wanted without any problems or worry. The people who own the company are the ones who DJ your wedding, so you don't have to worry about getting the B team. They were very professional, very accommodating, very fun and easy-going. If you'd rather spend your time worrying about other details of your wedding, spend the extra money to hire Hook. You won't be disappointed.

Hook productions was great. Sheena and DJ Hook got everything just as we wanted. They had everybody dancing all night long. It was a 7 hour reception and the dance floor never emptied out. We would highly recommend hook productions.

Randy and Sheena were everything we could have asked for. There level of commitment and service is A++. As with most weddings, details often get put off until the last minute. Unfortunately for Randy and Sheena, we put them off until the weekend before. They were unbelievably understanding and professional, helping us to tie up the loose ends and giving us pointers and ideas. From the end of our first dance until the party was over, team Hook kept the dance floor packed. No lie, the dance floor was consistently overflowing. The range and blend of music was on time. I can't thank them enough for a job well done.

Hook Productions helped make our wedding amazing! They provided music for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Both were exactly what we wanted. They were ready to provide music for our ceremony outside on a pier, but were very flexible and had no problem moving indoors last minute when we changed plans due to rain. Randy and Sheena were great to work with. They really listended to what types of music we wanted to hear at the reception. The dance floor was packed all night! All of our guests have told us how much fun they had and what a great DJ we had! We highly recommend them!

Hook Productions is awesome! I got married last weekend, and my husband and I are so glad that we picked them to dj our wedding. They were extremely flexible and always got back to us immediately whenever we had questions. They met us multiple times before our wedding to fine-tune our song lists. All the music at our wedding, from the ceremony to the last dance, flowed really smoothly. They were obviously very prepared and knew exactly what they were doing! Randy and Sheena were amazing to work with! We had a little bit of a crazy situation. We booked DJ Hook months ago as we were planning our Ocean City wedding. Sheena was great to work with, very professional and organized, she sent me the wedding reception planner right away and we got started planning out EVERY detail! The DJ is really the person who makes the reception, they are the ones who will see that it goes perfect from start to finish. 2 days before our wedding was to take place hurricane Irene started to make her way up the east coast and Ocean City was evacuated. We scrambled to change everything around and eventually had to move our wedding up a day and to a completely different location (Annapolis). Unfortunately after trying to change thier schedules around, DJ Hook had a previous engagement on our new wedding day and could not DJ our wedding. Even though she didn't have to, Sheena did everything she could to see that our wedding was perfect, including sending all of her information to the new dj, all of our song choices (we had a different song for each person to walk in to) plus lots of other special request songs through out the night. We had so many song choices and specific times to play them. She even sent the new dj the schedule for the reception so he could follow it down to the minute. Thanks to Sheena and Randy our last minute wedding came together flawlessly, you wouldn't have known it was planned in less than 24 hours. I cannot say thank you enough for all that you did, you went above and beyond! I would highly recommend their services for any bride looking for a DJ in the future!

We didn't decide to hire a DJ until about 2.5 months out - we envisioned an iPod wedding because we are music freaks and wanted to hear only what we chose. However, the logistics got to be too much and so I called Hook and it was the best decision we made for our wedding. Randy and Sheena allowed us to pick all the music we wanted and Randy supplemented where necessary with songs that were great for us. We had a lively dance floor, everyone had a fantastic time, we couldn't ask for more.

Sheena goes above and beyond and is a total pleasure to work with. She helps keep things running on schedule, helped me plan out the order of events for the evening, makes sure your photographer is around before big events, that all important players are on the same page, and is a calming voice in a sea of crazy. My photographer told me that the "really good" DJs should be doing this. You can also hire Sheena for wedding coordinator services, and while I didn't need it, I would recommend her in a second. Randy and Sheena are people that my husband and I would like to be friends with, and helped make our night amazing. Book them immediately!

Hook Productions is absolutely a first class act and we are so fortuntate to have found them! Hook Productions did a fantastic job at our wedding. Our dance floor was full for the entire reception. Not only did they play our music just as we wanted and make great music selections themselves, they acted as wedding coordinators as well. They kept the event moving and made sure everything went smoothly and according to plan. We had some rain during the reception and Sheena took charge of putting flaps down on the tent without us even asking and we barely noticed anything was amiss. They kept the event organized and took care of every detail. Hook Productions was very reasonably priced as well and it was definitely the best money we spent on our wedding.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Hook Productions to truly give them the outstanding credit they deserve. Working with them was unbelievably easy and stress free, which is what every bride wants for her wedding!! Sheena went above and beyond any and all expectations for a DJ company. From tracking down the exact songs I wanted to planning out every last detail that even a bride had not thought of, everything went beautifully. I had numerous guest comments that my DJ was almost like an assistant wedding planner because she was constantly making sure I was happy and everything was falling in place as scheduled. We used Hook Productions for our wedding on May 21, 2011, and we could not have been more pleased. Randy handled the music for our beach ceremony and the reception, and Sheena was our “weekend of” wedding coordinator. Frankly, we’re not even sure the proper superlatives exist to describe how AMAZING both Sheena and Randy were. They are both extremely professional and competent, easy to get along with and go out of the way to be accommodating. We highly recommend them!

Our ceremony took place on the beach on 61st Street in Ocean City, Maryland. We decided to use a DJ on the beach as opposed to having live music. Randy took care of the music on the beach, and Sheena took care of coordinating the ceremony, including organizing our vendors. It was fantastic! Sheena thought of everything, and we could not have imagined a better ceremony.

Randy did an incredible job with the music at the reception. He played an ideal mix of tunes that kept everyone, from the grandparents to the bridal party, dancing the entire evening. Everything was organized perfectly and he played the exact way we wanted. People danced the entire night and could not believe it when he announced the last three dances (we picked three last dances because we couldn’t decide on one!).

Sheena was our “go to” for everything, and she is the reason everything flowed as well as it did on the day of the wedding. Sheena and Randy provided an itinerary, that we completed, detailing how we wanted the night to go, noting the songs or dances that were important to us, and she made sure it was played and that we didn’t miss a thing. She made sure to get our attention when one of our favorite songs was next in the queue – something that we found particularly remarkable.

Prior to the wedding weekend, whenever we had questions, we could e-mail or call Sheena, and would get prompt responses. If she didn’t have an answer right away, she would find one and get back to us. For instance, there was a version of a song we wanted to play during the ceremony that we could only find in a YouTube video. We weren’t sure that this format was usable, but we e-mailed the link to Sheena. Somehow, she and Randy were able to find it and played it for the ceremony.

Sheena was available not just to answer questions about music, but was willing to offer suggestions with any part of the wedding planning process. Trying to plan a wedding in Ocean City from Baltimore was a challenge and it was so nice to have someone local who was so willing to help with everything. Hook Productions not only provides amazing DJ services, but having Sheena coordinate in conjunction was a perfect combination. Again, we would highly recommend Hook Productions to anyone. They were absolutely fantastic!

Such an amazing night!
Our wedding plans were tentative due to the fact that we wanted our wedding ceremony on the beach but weren't sure what the weather would be like. Since I like to prepare for every situation possible, we decided (halfway through planning) to get a tent set up at the venue, Bistro on the Green at Bear Trap Dunes, for the ceremony and dance floor just in case the weather didn't cooperate, which it didn’t. Hook Productions was more than understanding about us switching up the plans and were so helpful and flexible with everything! Sheena was incredibly organized and broke down the entire night for us on an itinerary so we knew what was happening when and could let them know what songs we would like played during big moments. They were great at suggesting what songs we might like being played, which was awesome since I am horrible at picking them out myself! And even when the meal went longer than planned, Sheena came to let me know we were behind schedule but it wasn’t an issue and they transitioned perfectly!
I did not pay attention to DJ Randy, the entire night! That might sound like a bad thing but let me explain…I was having such a great time dancing and enjoying every moment of the night and since the music was seamless and perfect, I didn’t even notice them. I have been to several weddings where all you notice is the DJ because they are playing horrible music or just can’t get a feel for the crowd. Hook even had my father, who never dances, on the dance floor most the night!

Sheena and Randy were wonderful at our wedding, they were so flexible with a couple of my last minutes changes to the order of the processional. They wowed our crowds with the selection of music they had to chose from, they made sure they had all the songs we requested to played, played for us. They were unbelievably professional and dressed for the occasion, they had just the right interaction with the crowd, and kept the party going!!! And of course help the night end when it was time!

Sheena and Randy are amazing. I have to admit that picking a DJ is tough and involves a lot of trust because there's no way to really test out their services before the big day unlike the cake baker or photographer.

Sheena and Randy did a wonderful job at our wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, MD. They are extremely professional, with their number 1 priority being to make sure the wishes of the bride and groom are satisfied. The music planning process is more difficult than it would first appear. Luckily, Sheena and Randy have tons of experience and are more than happy to help with song selection and coordination of the time-line of the entire event as necessary.

Hook Production is AMAZING!! We had them at our 6/12/10 wedding at the Salero in Rehoboth DE. I was a very picky bride when it came to finding a DJ. We had meet with several DJ's and I was getting extremely discouraged because they were all terrible and had major cheese factors!...until my now husband reached out to DJ Hook and Sheena. I knew as soon as we met them that I wanted to book them. DJ Hook was extremely laid back and was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. Sheena was awesome when it came to the organization of the actual reception. We were able to pick all of our music which was exactly what we wanted. Sheena sent us a wedding packet to fill out for all of our song picks and when I got stuck thinking of songs she sent song lists of popular songs for weddings. The whole experience with Hook Productions was great from the beginning to the end. The reception was awesome all the timing was perfect... and I didn't worry about a thing with them. Hook Productions DJed my June 2010 wedding at the Indian River Lifesaving Station in Rehoboth Beach, DE. To start Randy and Sheena are incredibly easy to work with, during planning they are there when you need them but don't hound you with questions and paperwork. The day of my wedding they were so well organized, that I didn't have to answer one question but just enjoyed exactly the music and feel I requested. I had a real mix of age groups at my wedding and with little direction from me Randy was able to instantly find the perfect music to keep my guests happy and joyful. DJ Hook and Sheena were extremely helpful in planning out the logistics for the wedding. Everything went smoothly and I would recommend their business to everyone!

I initally booked Randy and Sheena because they came highly recommended from 2 other couple friends of mine that used their services for their weddings. My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding and DJ Hooks played a huge role in that. They provided all of our ceremony and reception music and it was amazing. Randy & Sheena make a great team! She Came to meet me a few days before the wedding to review our music choices, and he met me a few days prior at the venue to approve the setup. They also provided all of my ceremony music and microphones for the pastor and for our readings. They were very prepared and coordinated everything from the reception entrance to the special dances, to the cake cutting, and other special events just perfectly! They had the dance floor filled with people who are not normally the dancers in the bunch! I could not say enough good things about them!
