Horizons Conference Center

The service was the best we have ever experienced. Food was AMAZING with a lot of options! This is the best decision we made for our wedding!

I got my wedding invitations from Horizons and I was very pleased. We got to look through so many samples to see which layout and design we liked best. They helped with wording and proofing of the invitations as well. We got very beautiful invitations without having to spending a lot of money. After we placed our order, we got them in so quickly! I would recommend getting invitations from Horizons!

I also got all of my flowers from Horizons. They were very beautiful and very full! I got my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, flower girl wand, boutonnires and center pieces and was very pleased. I had shown Michelle, the florist, photos of what I was looking for and she had great ideas and suggestions to use similar flowers that were in season at the time of my wedding. I really appreciated her thoughts and she did a wonderful job!

Awesome! They did a FABULOUS job!! I was extremely pleased with the food, decorating, and flowers. They listened to everything I said and put it all together to achieve the look that I wanted. They went above and beyond and were very attentive. I felt like queen getting waited on!

They are fantastic with the services that they provide and do everything possible to make your day more beautiful than you could have imagined.

Great bridal show. They showcased many of the elite vendors and had a fashion show that showed some of the most priceless dresses. I will definetly go there again this year and make my wedding picks.

We had a wedding reception at the Horizons Conference Center, and they had absolutely wonderful service. They had a few people check on us specifically during the entire evening to make sure we had everything we need (food, drinks, etc.) They handled all the details, and the place was decorated beautifully.

Horizons was great and such a beautiful place to host a wedding reception! They had all the details covered and were very helpful in making my special day even better! I would recommend highly!

We worked with the Horizon Center for our Reception at the Temple Theatre. They made it incredibly easy and everyone was friendly. And the catering was super too.

Excellent facility! Great attention to detail. They really went out of their way to make the day special. A little pricey but worth it!! Some difficulty contacting our coordinator via e-mail but she always responded to phone calls.

The location was beautiful and the workers were very helpful. A little on the expensive side for the location. Food was awesome!

Bridal Show: 5 Stars It was a very exquisite show. The 3 times that I’ve been to it! This one should definitely be on your list of shows to see. There are a lot of vendors with free information and plenty of tasting to go around. They had things from invitations to honeymoon destinations and even a chocolate fountain! They also have giveaways. And if you are thinking of having your wedding there, it gives you a chance to check out the rooms. Don’t forget your address labels!

Food/Catering: 5+++ Stars They were unbelievably wonderful. They have a great variety of options. And you get to taste test most of them. My dress was very tight that night or I would have eaten more! A great number of my guests complimented on how great the food was. It was beautifully displayed and had a huge variety of desserts. With that said I could have gotten a much smaller cake. Only problem was that the kitchen didn’t cut up most of the cake so a lot of my guests didn’t have the option of having any. They also forgot to give me what was left of the cake. I actually had to call them the following Monday to see what happened to it. About half of the cake was left.

Flowers: 3 stars The lady that we worked with was a little strange and once came to work in sweat pants. With spending about $20-25 on each centerpiece I felt that I ended up with scrap flowers. Although the corsages and bouquets had very nice quality flowers, the bouquets were not arranged the way I had asked. Luckily one of my bridesmaids worked at a florist shop and helped me redo all 5 before I walked down the isle. Not to mention that the groomsman that I sent to go get them had to wait 30 minutes until she was done with the flowers at the last minute.

Invitations: 5 stars The invitations turned out very nice. Horizon’s has a huge variety to choose from. We did have to return them once because of a misprint. Other than that I was very happy with the price and quality.

Overall Reception Venue: Horizon’s Conference Center is decorated very elegantly. If you want you can even have your ceremony there then have your reception right in the same room. They offer a wedding planner to help you with all of the details. Ernie was extremely nice and helpful and was always available when I had a question. They have a shuttle that is very convenient that goes to and from the Ramada Inn that is about 2 miles down the road if you choose to have your guests stay there. They also have 3 different rooms that you can choose from depending on how many quests that you will have.

As the owner of Groovy Tunes DJ's, I have had the pleasure of working on countless occasions with the staff and management of Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw, Michigan. The food is always excellent, the floor managers ensure events flow uninterrupted, and the decor is always attractive.

I would highly recommend Horizons to any couple looking to get married and the facility also lends itself to being a great place for company events, reunions, and other family events.
