Meh. I contacted this hotel for a possible wedding reception location. I wanted an evening cocktail party (hosted). Called and we were told to just come down any weekend evening and ask for Uno. When we showed up (wedding-paying parents in tow) we were told we couldn't tour the rooms because Victoria's Secret had booked the site for a secret photo shoot. Huh.
So we made an appointment to come back the following weekend. We checked out Room Tangier, Club Fez and the Rabat Room. We discussed menus, amount of bartenders needed for our party, DJ and sound equipment, costs, etc. We left. We called back a week later to book the event for the Room Tangier and Club Fez. Uno emailed Middle Eastern appetizer menu options for a cocktail party - prices ranged from $30-65/person for passed or buffet stations and assured us that “the other party interested in the same weekend will take another date.” Huh? Was this a sales ploy to get us to book faster? He then listed the room cost as $3,000 which was strange because the day we met with him and toured the facility, he said there was no site fee for a hosted cocktail party. I reminded him of that conversation and he emailed back that the site fee was usually $5,000 and that he was already discounting the rate considerably. What the heck? We’ve decided to pursue other vendors. Too much attitude, a very chilly reception desk and inconsistent communication meant that we’d probably be surprised when the bill came.

Hubby and I have both been to Morocco and can tell you that walking into the hotel is like walking into a riad in Marrakech.
Positives:
1.) Absolutely gorgeous. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. Our honeymoon suite was incredible. We saved a fortune on flowers because the space just doesn't require much additional decoration. We loved that it was unique – not your typical wedding location.
2.) Great food. Guests loved it.
3.) Reasonably priced.
4.) Reasonably priced rooms for out-of-town guests
6.) Wait staff and bartenders there are SOOOO friendly.
Negatives:
1.) The only drawback to the hotel is that the manager/owner/event coordinator is difficult to communicate with. Almost every email I sent to him asking him questions was answered with an email that said “Ok.” And that’s it. He never returned phone calls. Byhe week of the wedding I just avoided contact with him because it was such a frustrating experience. But I will stress this: in the end the hotel exceeded my expectations. There were absolutely no problems on the day of the wedding, in fact he threw in a few items free-of-charge that we never asked for.
We spent about $110 per person for our reception, which included an open bar cocktail hour w/ tray passed appetizers, and four course dinner with wine and a champagne toast.
