Love this place! My dress was perfect! Always being taken care of, my bussels were color coordinated and HOF is even being trusted with perserving my dress!

While other bridal salons laughed at my $1200 budget, House of Fashion was helpful in finding many options within my budget. The consultant was kind and knowledgeable in helping me select my dress. Their alterations department was also outstanding. They altered my dress, along with a vintage gown my grandmother gave to me to wear at the reception. Would definitely recommend!

House of Fashion is a great place to go if you have no idea what you want or what you're looking for. Don't expect a ton of help when you're there (they pretty much let me and my 2 bridesmaids and 2 moms loose in the store for an hour -- we just helped ourselves) but it is a great place to see a lot of color and fabric choices in person. You can find lower prices at other stores if you know what you want and are willing to shop around for it. But all in all, a great place to start.

I would not refer anyone to this bridal shop for your bridal gown or wedding party. They were not very customer service friendly very rude. I would recommend spending all of your money else where to get better quality dresses and better customer service.

I went to this bridal shop because I had only heard good things about it, and both my mother-in-law and an aunt had gotten their dresses there 30 years ago. I assumed this was a business that was really established and highly professional. I can't say that that was the case, unfortunately. I found that the dressing room areas were tiny and even though it seemed like I was the only bride-to-be in the whole shop my lady was on a time-crunch. The lady helping me, did end up giving me a great deal on my wedding gown though and was very helpful when it came to the alterations. Five months later, when it was time for my first dress fitting, I met several employees and found that the standard of their customer service is lower than that of David's Bridal! No one seemed to actually care very much about either my dress or my future business. What is seemed like, frankly, was that they thought they were the best bridal salon in town, and could therefore act snooty to their customers. Well, the thing is neither their customer service or overall standard of their bridal salon would ever rate them as the best bridal salon in town. I'm sure of it. So all brides out there, I would recommend you to try House of Fashion II or simply just go to David's Bridal. DB is the clear winner in the battle against House of Fashion, their employees have better manners, are dressed professionally, and simply know what customer service means. I wish I would have choosen differently had I had the choice. It would have spared me from a lot of unnecessary stress during the planning of my wedding.

I was happy with House of Fashion overall. The only bad thing was they told me alterations would be way less than they actually were. Their response to that was I would just have to cut something else out of my budget. Not very helpful.

BEST PLACE! I got the dress of my dreams at a great price too.

I went to House of Fashion because they carried the couture lines I was looking for in a bridal gown.I found the gown of my dreams! It slowly went a little downhill from there.I felt nickeled and dimed - I paid a FLAT alteration fee, after which the seamstress kept on trying to jack up the price and ended up refusing to do the work unless I paid extra. I paid, then complained to the manager and received a refund, but it was still an incredible hassle.I went to my final fitting and found half the alterations hadn't even been done yet. The seamstress said she would do them, and my final fitting was then pushed out a couple days. I came back again, and still there weren't things right with the dress. It took four "final fittings" right up until the day before my wedding to get it all straightened out. The seamstress was a nightmare to deal with, but in the end my dress looked beautiful and it all worked out.I just don't know if it was worth the money...

We'd give this shop 6 stars on a scale from 0 to 5 if we could. We got married in Sacramento a few weeks ago, and the best man flew into town (from the east cost) Thursday. By Friday evening, his luggage still hadn't arrived and he was in need of a tux for our Saturday morning wedding. We had 90 minutes between the rehearsal and the dinner, so we started calling tux shops to see what we could find. Every shop we called told us they couldn't help on short notice, despite the extenuating circumstances and the fact that the best man is of average size. House of Fashion Bridal Salon was the first place we reached who said they might be able to help us, so we rushed in. We arrived ~15 minutes before they closed, and David was there to assist. We explained the situation and he got to work. He asked some questions and listened attentively as we described what the groom and I were wearing, so he could find a tux that would work for the best man. He brought out pants, jacket, shirt, and shoes that all fit the best man. Then, I showed him a photo (on my phone) of the MOH dress so he could find the vest and tie that would work best. In the end, the best man looked wonderful and no one would ever have known what happened.Overall, this process took longer than 15 minutes but David never made us feel unwelcome and he never rushed us. He was efficient (he knew we needed to get to the rehearsal dinner) while being very friendly. He also provided the groom with a nice hankerchief to pull everything together. I don't know the going rate of tuxes in Sacramento, but the final price seemed very reasonable to me and less than the price we'd seen for tuxes. The kicker is that while the best man was being fitted, the three of us (groom, bride, best man) were trying to solve another problem in advance of the morning wedding. David heard us talking and he offered to assist us. He came up with a great solution to the problem (which was completely unrelated to bridal fashion) and offered to help. We did take him up on his offer to help us with something very early the next morning. He was such a genuinely nice and helpful guy that it really eased some of the pre-wedding stress that we were all feeling. I would DEFINITELY recommend this location to anyone looking for excellent service and a good looking tuxedo. They provide service well beyond what you could expect or imagine, even under challenging circumstances.

I got my bridal gown and all my bridesmaid dresses at House of Fashion. The salesperson was very helpful and really understood what I was looking for in a dress and we were able to find the perfect gown in less than an hour! They also did a great job altering my bridesmaid dresses, especially because 2 of my bridesmaids were from out of state and didn't come into town until 2 days before the wedding. What could have been a diseaster was handled with ease and no stress.
GUEST

They did a wonderful job on my alterations, however there was a broach that came with my dress, and they had taken it off to do the alterations which was fine. But when I went to pick the dress up, they never put the broach back on. Luckily I realized it before I took the dress home. However when they gave me the broach back, I got home and tried to put it back on the dress, and the clasp on the back was broken. So be careful with small details like that!

All I can say is I'm VERY dissapointed with HOF. My dress arrived over one month late. I went to pick up my dress two different times and it was not ready (and I was told it was on the phone)! The first time I was frustrated the alterations were not complete but problems happen. Then I went to pick it up two days before my wedding and it still was not completed. The straps were too big and the dress was too long (after 3 other fittings). To make matters worse they lost the straps to my dress and told me my dress never had straps!! I pulled out my cell phone and showed them pictures of me trying the dress on in their store with straps at my last fitting. I waited in the store for them to complete my dress two days before my wedding! Not to mention they altered my dress so tight I had to stop eatting carbs after my third fitting because the dress was so tight it hurt. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Go dress shopping somewhere else or be prepared for bad service and extra stress.

My experience at House of Fashion was not all that I had hoped for. I didnt feel like the service was very personal, and with the number of other brides and bridemaids in the store, it felt as though we were cattle being shifted around. The staff was not the friendliest, with one exception, although I cannot remember her name. Most of them were somewhat snobby and didnt go above and beyond to make you feel like the most important person in the room. I probably will not refer my friends to this store.
GUEST

They had a good selection of bridesmaids dresses, but it was slightly cramped and hard to find certain styles. Easy to order and arrived on time.
GUEST

House of Fashion found me a beautiful gown at an affordable price. The dress took a very long time to come in, about 6 months, but they were pretty responsive once I called. The alteration lady did a great job!

I ended up getting my perfect dress from the house of fashion- but only after i was frustrated and ready to give up looking. We had an appointment and was told that we didn't, was given poor service. I was about to walk out when my furious friend put them straight. THANK GOD! The new person led me to a completely different room and I found THE dress.
GUEST

The very first time I went dress shopping was at the House of Fashion and I was able to find my dress at the first appointment. The consultant picked it out and it was perfect for my body shape and the venue where I was getting married. I was very pleased with the professionalism and ease of making changes to the dress. I was also able to come in whenever I wanted to try on the dress for friends and family before the wedding. The dress came out beautiful and I was very pleased with my experiance working with the House of Fashion. I would highly recommend this bridal salon to anyone in the Sacramento area.

I had been to this place for fittings of friends and bridesmaid dresses in the past and was never really impressed with their service but when it came down to buying my gown I knew exactly which maker/dress I wanted I was kinda dissapointed when I learned they were the only ones in town who carried it. I was living abroad with my then fiance when we decided to have our wedding ceremony for his family there. Ordering the dress was not as much of a hassle as I expected. They were able to accept both the order and the payment over the phone. They weren't, however, able to ship the dress to me abroad so we worked with my mother to get the dress to me in time. When she picked up the dress she wasn't overly impressed with their service either but was happy that they were able to get it in time for my event. At the time the dress was still in the box from the maker. The staff had her check over the details to make sure there were no problems with the dress(she commented that the details were hard to see through the wrinkles from it having been stuffed into a box). After checking the details the staff said something along the lines of, " okay, we will just get this pressed then..." . My mother told her how she would just be shipping the dress to me and said that a press would probably not be necessary. The staff told her that when I come back to have the second half of my wedding there in California, I could get it pressed free at that time. Well, when the time came, I got in touch with the House of Fashion and was told by the Manager there that I would have to pay (100 dollars!) to have it pressed, and that nobody put any memo in my file about the pressing. I did not take my dress back to this place, instead I paid much less to have it pressed elsewhere. I am still very disappointed about my experience with this company and will continue to warn people away from their store. A customer should not feel as though they are inconveniencing the store clerks, nor should a company make promises they are not willing to keep. I was not impressed by HOF.

HOF did an amazing job with my dress. I looked far and wide for the right one and finally found it here. They did such a good job helping me with all the arrangements and the alterations were excellent. The dress fit me like a glove like they promised it would. I would.have liked a little more responsiveness when my dress arrived over a month after it was promised. In the end it was dealt with professionally but it took a while to get any help as it was cutting our time frame very close. Besides this incident, the experience was very pleasant and I love my dress and how I looked in it.

I had a really wonderful experience at HOF. I went to miosa and some other bridal salons in the area who were very snobby and unpleasant. Not at house of fashion. I worked with Amara who was great. I gave them an idea of my price range ($1500-3000) and some photos of dresses I saw. They immediately pulled 30 dresses for me to try, most like the photos and afew they thought would look good on me (which they were right) and all were within the price range i gave them. Their staff helped me with all 30+ gowns and even let me take lots of pictures. We found one that was perfect and made me, my bridesmaid and the whole staff actually cry! It was a beautiful fun moment and really special. The store is fun to roam around in too, jsut has a nice vibe. The alterations were pretty reasonable and when some last minute changes needed to be made they did 4 separate rounds of alterations while I waited so I could try it on each time between alterations to make sure it was perfect. THe have a great bridesmaid and mother of bride and bra selection too. I got 5 bridesmaid dresses, 2 MOB dresses there plus my veil and a headclip. THey even sewed in my bra for free, and removed it for free when I changed my mind, and then sewed in loose cups for free when I decided I wanted that at the last minute. In the end the dress held up and fit all night and everyone said it looked like it was made just for my body! It was great! I would go back in an instant, and the next time I need a formal gown for something I am checking them out. Check out some of my photos, tommyphoto.net/blog 12/31/09 Wedding.

This store was the worst bridal store I had gone to. Very rude service, the dresses were old and dingy and they tried pushing discontinued dresses on you because that's all they had in their inventory. The place was very old and the staff was very insulting. I took whatever dress that I had tried on, none of them were anything special and the prices were ridiculous for dresses that you could not order, you had to take the old sample, and we just walked out. Don't waste your time.

I bought 2 dress from HOF so they obviously weren't too bad - but if you are expecting a "Say Yes to the Dress" kind of experience you aren't going to receive it there. The ladies who work there are not always the most pleasant but you can't beat the selection and amount of dresses in every price range (although they don't carry high end designer dresses).I was satisfied enough after my first purchase to go there again and I would recommend it to my friends/family in the future.

I had already purchased 2 bridesmaid dresses from House of Fashion, before going there to look for a wedding gown for myself. I worked with Mahin and she was so helpful in pinpointing what style of gown would look best on me. The third dress I tried on was the "one." Mahin made it so easy to find the right dress and stopped by every fitting appointment to make sure the dress was being altered just the way it needed to be. Also, less than a month before the wedding, my mom decided the dress she had chosen at another bridal salon was just not what she wanted it to be after the alterations had been completed. My mom found a dress she liked at House of Fashion and the let her purchase the sample dress & had it altered, cleaned and pressed within 2 weeks...that just goes to show how House of Fashion is willing to put their customers first and will make sure you have everything you need before your wedding day.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. Not only did I spend an entire day at the salon the week of my wedding while they fixed the dress, but they ordered me the wrong size (I think on purpose) so that I would have to pay almost $500 for alterations.I've heard they've done this to numerous people and if I would have known this before I would not have gone here. The worst part was that I saw a spot of the seam (that they had taken in) and said it looked loose. They said they would fix it, and in the middle of my reception, my dress split open. No, my dress was not too small, it was actually still too big.Do not even consider getting your dress here!

I found my dress at House of Fashion. Unfortunately, they were asking too much for the dress I wanted, so I ended up finding the sample online and purchasing it for less. I did however take it back for alterations. I had such a great experience with the helpful staff there, that I really wanted them to do it. I thought it was a little pricey, but then when are alterations not pricey anywhere! And who would take the chance taking it somewhere really cheap like someones- living room! Which I suppose would be fine if you really knew the seamstress and trusted her, however, I wasn't willing to take that chance. Being a seamstress myself, I ended up hemming just the front of my dress to save $190, but after that, I found that their prices on bustling and taking in the dress were very reasonable, and actually cheaper than another bridal salon I went to for a consultation. When it comes down to it, they are professionals and know what they are doing. I am very happy with the results!

I would recommend not going here. They prices were good compared to other places, but the alterations I received were pretty awful. To start off with they ordered the wrong size for me. When they altered the dress it fit differently that before. I tried to tell them of their mistakes but (in their heavy accents) said "no it looks fine, it looks fine." Somebody forgot to tell them that on your wedding day the dress needs to look perfect!

I was not very pleased with this place. First off, the dress took longer to come in, then they told me. They constantly made excuses for why it wasn't there and just to keep calling back. When it finally did come, I asked them for a quote on dress alterations. When I went back there to get them done, another seamstress quoted me a higher price. We basically told them to honor what they had first told us, or we were going to take our business elsewhere, and let everyone know about how bad this place was. Nevertheless, my dress was beautiful in the end and I got tons of compliments.

I was bit hesitant about setting an appointment here after reading less than positive reviews on other sites. Sure enough, my laziness took over since it has the largest selection of wedding gowns in Sacramento. I figured it would be a good start. My consultant and her assistant were very nice and fairly helpful. I came in with a folder of clips so they could get a sense of what I liked. She had me try on different types of gowns to see what would look good on me. It was pretty helpful.
My problem is with the store's set-up and operation. 1) The store is too small to carry the amount of gowns they offer. Way too small. Not only is very confusing but it's also hard to get around the store not to mention aesthetically unpleasing. Just say no to clutter. 2) Another thing that they do (but is common) is that they double book or even (as I found out) triple book appointments. While my consultant was helpful, I didn't see much of her because she was off helping 2 other brides that were booked for that time slot (10am mind you). I was fortunate to get a dressing area that was away from the riff-raff but others were not so lucky. 3) They need to established rules and notify all staff. I was told that my appointment would last 1 hour when I called to confirm however, on the day of, my consultant told me I could try on dresses as long as I wanted (this was when I thought my appointment ended). Too bad I made other arrangements. Whatever. It was my first dress appointment.
In all, my consultant was good but the store and it's set-up left much to be desired.

I have wanted to shop for my wedding dress at this store since I was a little girl, and attended church across the street, so my expectations were very high. But it was a wonderful experience! HOF carries a great selection of plus-size dresses. Mahin was a joy to work with, she made me feel beautiful, but she was also honest with what dress styles didn't work on me, and went and pulled variations of dress styles that did work. The alterations were quick and just what I wanted. The seamstress showed me what the different bustles would look like, and made sure to show my mom when she picked the dress up how to bustle the dress. It didn't work as well at the wedding as I'm sure it did in the shop, but that was no fault of theirs. The customer service was phenomenal, and their prices were not that much more than big-box bridal stores where you don't receive the individualized care and attention like you do at HOF!

I was not impressed with their service. I had an appointment, was there on time, and had to wait 30 minutes before a consultant let me upstairs. I was prepared with a list of 5 gowns of designers that I knew they carried. As I went to give it to her, she refused to take it and then lead me into a room of packed-in (like sardines) trumpet gowns and told me to pick out whatever I liked. How is that for a shopping experience? Someone else did help me into some gowns, but that was it for my experience there. I did not get try on a single gown that I wanted, as I could not find them in their mess of racks. Needless to say, I did not buy my dress there. Honestly, there service was just as bad as David's Bridal, if not worse.

It was the 1st salon I looked at, and after checking out other salons in Sacramento and San Francisco, I went back to find the perfect dress! I had some trouble communicating with the seamstress what I wanted done with the length and it caused us to have to come in multiple times to get it right, but they were very nice each time and the dress turned out wonderful.

This is where I bought my wedding gown and it was a wonderful experience. Laila was the saleswoman who helped me and she was so helpful. I told her what styles had caught my eye and then she brought out a whole range of dresses that could work for me. She didn't pressure me to make a decision that day and instead wrote down my favorite styles and sizes so I could take some time to decide. When I came back a second time she helped me try on my top favorites again and even brought out different veils so I could see the whole picture. The front desk was flexible with my payment plan as well. I am very pleased with the service I received from everyone, including the salesgroup, the alterations, and the front desk.

All of there staff was great!!! I had an amazing experience shopping for my dress & jewerly here. I had to get my dress taken in 3 times & the price was really reasonable!!!

DON'T DO IT!!! I literally cried after my experience here. I made an appointment with a saleswoman who came highly recommended. Upon arrival, she immediately told me that she had 3 other brides she was helping at the same time, and that I could help myself to 8, and only 8 dresses. Then she left, and I was left with two teenage "helpers", one of which was texting on her cell phone the entire time. The place was packed with brides and finding dresses I liked among the mayhem was nearly impossible. I only found one dress I liked. ADVICE; GO TO THE HOUSE OF FASHION OUTLET!!!! The saleswoman was SO sweet and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and quaint, and I got my dress--originally $1500--for $325. Amazing. I would never recommend House of Fashion to anyone.

They were great to work with and I loved my dress. Too bad I paid $800 for a dress that can be found online for about $600. And too bad their alterations (which turned out awesome) cost me nearly $300 for some strap shortening, heming, and bustling. I had excellent customer service every time I was there though. I totally recommend them. Also, they found me perfect shoes for $50! I was hesitant all the way to buy ANYTHING in a bridal salon, but that's really a decent price for bridal shoes, and only $7 to dye them ivory. Very happy with this vendor.

Beautiful Dresses. Great Service and personal attention.

House of Fashion was a mixed bag for me. I thought they had a great selection of dresses. When I first started shopping for dresses, I LOVED their flexibility and attention to my needs. The staff was very patient and informative when it came to helping me find my dress. When I picked my first dress, and changed my mind after a couple of days - I was relieved when they were accommodating with the cancellation of the order and the second go around of dress try-ons. They took into account my indecision and really helped to guide me in the right direction in selecting a dress. For that alone, I would have given perfect scores. The alterations and fittings were a little more less satisfactory. Most of the time, I felt like they were trying to take the shortest route. From day one, I was firm about the unflattering ruffling of a part of my dress. They insisted it was simply a matter of pressing it out. Then it just had to be pulled to the side. Then it just had to be nipped a little. Ultimately, they had to undo an entire seam and fix the layering of the extra material - as was suggested initially. As a result, it ended up in 4 additional fittings because they couldn't get it to lay properly. In terms of value, they have a great range of pricing and a varied selection so I gave more stars for that.

I had read some very negative reviews on House of Fashion and was skeptical when I went in. It was NOT a glamorous boutique but I did find a beautiful dress for a great price. Go in with a perspective of having fun. There are hundreds and hundreds of dresses to look through. Bring a friend who knows your taste and will help you. Also consider going in when it isn't a busy time (Saturday or Sunday). After buying my dress, it had to be shipped to a different state. Great and prompt service.

I got my wedding gown and my bridesmaids' dresses from House of Fashion. I had a great experience with my dress - from start to finish, the people I worked with were very helpful (finding THE dress, shoes, alterations, etc.) and friendly. They made sure that I had everything I needed for the big day, and they worked well with me and my mom.The bridesmaids' dresses were a different story - they do not have nearly enough space in their store for all of the dresses they have packed in there. Also, there are not enough employees in the bridesmaid's section, and it is very difficult to get help (especially on a weekend). When we had found the dresses we wanted, they took the measurements for 3 of my bridesmaids, and then the sheet with the measurements was lost (and then found again in my file). Because of this, we were delayed in ordering the bridesmaids' dresses and had to have them rush cut. This was a frustrating and stressful experience, but was handled well by House of Fashion - they agreed to pay for the rush cut because of their error.Overall, House of Fashion was a good experience. However, if you are going to use them, I would recommend staying on top of them - make lots of phone calls to make sure that everything is in order and you are all on the same page.

It was so easy to find my dress. Just tell them what you want and what your budget is and they will show you those dresses. My dress was amazing, the alterations were perfect, and I was able to stick to my budget. They have a huge selection!
GUEST

It is a big store with lots of dresses. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted so it made my experience a lot easier. The dress was $500 cheaper than I expected. I would recommend people to check the store out, specially if you know what you are looking for.

Great selection of gowns to work with. Also excellent customer service. The bride’s gown needed quite a few alterations on a tight schedule and the seamstress did an immaculate job. Their employees also have elegant opinions and taste.

I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here. A friend bought her dress at the HofF and we attended a bridal show together where some other boutique was selling sample gowns for "deep discounts." We found her dress there, a ratty dirty sample, for over $100 for what she had paid for for her brand new gown at HofF! So I knew I had to shop there, because obviously their pricing was good. I got great, non-pushy help from Mina. I brought in about 10 pictures of gowns that I liked and she swiftly pulled about 8 dresses that were all similar to the pictures, in all price ranges. They carry a HUGE range of brands. I ended up loving and buying the 3rd dress I tried on there, a Jim Hjelm.
All in all, there is no coddling or oohing and ahhing here. If youre looking for champagne and sweet talk, go to a boutique. House of Fashion is for gals who just want to try on dresses without strangers telling them/lying to them about how beautiful they look. If you want someone to baby you, go to a boutique and pay twice as much for some woman to ooh and ahh you.

Dress: House of Fashion (grade B) price: dress: $950 alterations: $365 (I had 14 bustle points and was charged $10/bustle point)I really didnt have a problem with them until I had to pick up my dress, had an appointment to pick up my dress and it wasnt ready because they wrote it down as a final fitting instead of a pick-up. But no big deal.Would I recommend? Yes

I found my dress on-line and them order it directly from the vendor. The service was okay. The seamstress did a good job getting my dress to fit just right!

All of the different Bridesmaid dresses at House of Fashion Bridal Salon were very well place and the store was very organized. It was very easy to find what we liked at the shop. The only downside to everything was the staff was so overwhelmed with other customers that they really did not have time to help everyone so it did get a bit stressful and also overwhelming. We finally found a nice bridesmaid dress at the shop. It did take awhile waiting to check out because of the representative to the company was busy. Other than the shop’s customer service everything else went great and other then the stresses for the quest of information on the dresses we found something we liked.

If you want to be fawned over this is the place to go. Think of the Pretty Woman shopping scene without the fakeness. I got my shoes, jewelry, and veil here and felt like I was the first lady. Marta helped me try on no less than 14 veils and was patient and honest in her critiques. I like it when they have the guts to say, I don't think that one is as flattering as this, what do you think? I was worried about finding the right shoes since I am a size 11 and she found me the perfect shoes in 2 tries. I have never found shoes that quickly and in my size in my entire life. Genuine thoughtful service here, a bit spendy but definitely worth it.

I had nothing but a wonderful experience here. They really took care of me and gave me great customer service. And their prices were very reasonable.

I made several visits to HOF and always had a positive experience. The ladies there were very nice, never pushy and made good suggestions and recommendations of different things to try on within my stated price range. Everyone seemed patient and never tried to push the sale. The ordering of my dresses and the bridesmaids dresses was smooth and everything was timely. Alterations were done well and one of my bridesmaids was comped her alteration due to some manufacturer error that THEY pointed out to us--how nice were they?! Overall, good selection of dresses for any budget. Very helpful and friendly staff and professional and timely service.

I had heard horrible things from a bride who is not the typical size 14 or below (like me). I went anyway, hoping to get better service, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Everyone who I worked with (both the main attendant, as well as her helper) were kind, patient, & above all - helpful. A couple of months before my wedding, I broke my leg & was scheduled to come in for a fitting. They sweetly altered just the top of my dress since I was still in a cast, and then allowed me to come in a couple of weeks before the wedding for the lower half of the dress to be altered. One week before the wedding, I had my final fitting & the staff continued to be kind & helpful. My bridesmaids also had a great experience - including one who was 3 months pregnant & who needed last minute alterations, too!

I was scared going into House of Fashion, because I had heard bad things about it! However I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience. I had a sweet sales attendant in Yvonne - who pulled out a bunch of dresses immediately when I told her what I was looking for. She was very helpful and brought out the dress I ended up buying (Maggie Sottero - Grace) from my description of what I was looking for, and was less expensive than many of the dresses I had written down to try on. The dress came in early and there was no pressure to alter there.
I would recommend going on a weekday, I went on a Monday morning and it was great, not crowded at all.

Everyone was fantastic to meet with!! From trying on dresses for the first time to final alterations & pick up...everyone was so polite & concerned with what I wanted. I could go in whenever I had any questions & someone would always be happy & willing to help me! My mom got her dress for the wedding there & they were just as great with her! The women had great ideas for alterations & helped us save money by hemming my mom's dress & keeping the excess to make straps out of it!! I highly recommend them for any wedding attire needs!!

There were AMAZING! I went in and told them exactly what I wanted. They had a HUGE selection and in just 1 hour, I found the wedding dress of my dreams! Highly recommended!

I got my dress altered here, busseled and pressed. $200 just to shorten and press. Chen also did my veil. She did a decent job, and was very flexible on time and squeezing me in and getting it done quickly. Was cash only!

The sales person was helpful and not pushy even though we didn't buy on the first visit. They have many nice lines of gowns and can special order a dress that you see in a magazine if they don't have it in stock.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the House of Fashion. I bought my wedding dress there and Mahin was an incredible sales woman. She knew what style fit my body and found "the one" for me. I did everything from fittings, alterations, to bridesmaids dresses at HOF. All aspects of their services were professional, smooth, and without surprises or problems. I would recommend them over and over again. Thank you House of Fashion for making the "wedding dress experince" memorable.

Alterations:
Great service, can be pricey BUT you felt comfortable that they knew what they were doing.
Wedding gown:
house of fashion was perfect because it was close, lots to choose from, great service, & prices were okay

My dress was lovely. The employees were very patient with me as I tried on 15 different dresses. The House of Fashion has a huge selection of dresses. I never felt rushed or pushed to choose.

Alterations:
House of Fashion had my wedding date a week later than it was so my alterations had to be rushed. I give them a 3 because my alterations were very nice, but the personnel taking my measurements was not very nice. I thought they were a but pricey. I recommend shopping around for alterations.
Bridal Shops:
House of Fashion by far has the most dresses on hand to choose from. The staff was really friendly and found me the perfect dress on the first try. They didn’t try to push anything that was out of my price range and really listened to me when I described the type of dress I wanted. Their prices are a little high. I recommend finding your dress there but price check around before you buy there. I found my dress $300 cheaper at another bridal salon.

I went to many stores before I came to this one. I was only successful here. They have a huge inventory of dresses. Other places have very little and catologs. How are you supposed to base you decision on your wedding dress from a dress on a model in a booklet! The lady that helped me was great. My sister and I both left with wedding dresses we loved.

Make an appointment. I did and when I walked in someone immediately sent to us to start to try on dresses. They made me feel like a princess. I found my dress within the first several tries. They were not very good at the communicating part of how long it would take until the fittings and the phone calls etc. That made me a bit nervous. When I went in for my fitting the glamour was gone. They stuffed you in this tiny room in back with lots of other people doing the same thing and I didn't feel special after that. My dress and accessories were amazing and they have professional seamstresses who helped me with any issues I had about the dress. I couldn't be happier about my dress & veil & garter. The price was a little staggering but sooo worth it.

They found my perfect dress. I went in with probably a million pictures and Mahin (my consultant) found me the perfect dress. They asked me my price range and found one in just the right range. Everything about it was perfect. Mahin was excellent, I recommend requesting her if you can, and she was not pushy at all. She found "MY DRESS" to fit my body and make me look as good as possible.

Alterations:
House of Fashion for the bridesmaid dresses was very pricey, however their customer service was good. Turn around time took longer than expected.
Bridesmaids Dresses:
House of Fashion has a wide selection of dresses for the bride as well as the bridesmaids. The employees there seem to be too pushy for me, like they work for commission. I suggest going there to try on dresses, then shopping around for a better price elsewhere. Might I suggest trying on the dress, then going to netbride.com to see if it’s cheaper online. They have great customer service, are trustworthy, and have a good turn around time for the item purchased.

I was very happy with the service I got at HOF, from beginning to end they were wonderful to work with. I paid a bit more than I wanted to for my dress but no one else carried my dress online so I had to get it at HOF. The alterations were perfect the first time around and were pretty reasonably priced to boot.
