I don’t know if you can call this a bachelor party, because he was already married, but Brock’s boss at the law firm decided that he would take the whole staff out to a baseball game. Brock said that about five other lawyers were out, and that somehow they had really good seats. He also said that it was funny, because the people that he works with are at least ten years older than he is, and that they all had really good advice for him. Because the other lawyers kept announcing to everyone that this was Brock’s bachelor party, he said that everyone kept offering to buy him beer, and he got rather drunk and felt sick because they kept buying him beers and pizza and cotton candy. He said the whole experience was great, though slightly weird, having the entire stadium (or what felt like the entire stadium) wish him the best of luck in his marriage.
My husband is a huge Twins fan, so his buddies from work scored some ticket to the Yankees game. He usually settles for sitting up in the bleacher seats, so I think he was pretty thrilled sitting so close and knowing that Liriano would hear his heckling. His best friend bought him a jersey, a cap, and they filled him up on beer and peanuts. Afterwards they brought him to the bar across the street and watched highlights and fed him chicken wings. Baseball, beer, and chicken wings! He was happy, and I was sooo happy that they didn’t drag him to a stripclub!
