Richard and Patoo worked really hard to get great shots of our wedding and what they captured were beautiful stories of our day....I love all the pictures they came out beautiful! They were both very professional and easy to work with. This duo makes you feel at ease in from of the lens. The edited proofs we got were an example of how talented Richard and Patoo are! Thank you so much We love your work!

I cant comment on pricing or communication since I didnt deal with them through the planning, they were a wedding present to us but my husband and I could not be happier that we got Richard and Patoo as our Photographers. They both worked really hard to get great shots of our wedding and what they captured were beautiful stories of our day....I love all the pictures they came out beautiful! So many of our guest have called to say how great they all look. Richard and Patoo were both very professional and easy to work with. This duo have great ideas and really make the whole process of posing fun and make you feel at ease in from of the lens. The edited proofs we got were an example of how talented Richard and Patoo are! (HELLO is that really us)! Thank you so much We love your work!

I enjoyed working with Richard and Patoo! They captured all the moments that I wanted to have captured! They were extremely flexible in working with me for our engagement shoot since my husband is military, we had to work around his vacation time. Richard and Patoo were extremely helpful, understanding, patient, honest, and all of the above. I loved them and would gladly recommend them to anyone I know getting married. They were not only reasonable in cost, but I have some of the most beautiful wedding pictures!

About Huntington Photography

We are a husband and wife team that provides complete coverage from the beginning of the wedding to the end. We work efficiently and creatively to give you pictures that you will always cherish. Our style is a combination of Photojournalism and formal. We use this to put a twist on your tradition formal pictures by giving them a look that is natural. We have both been in photography for a combine time of over 10 years in both digital and in film.

As members of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) we have been able to re-enforce our way of thinking about weddings. That this is the most special day in your life and it is our honor to be able to capture the spirit of the day.

As a team, Richard and Patoo, work together to make everyone feel comfortable. Richard normally goes with the groom and gets them to relax and have fun while they wait for the events of the day to begin. While at the same time, Patoo slips in with the girls as family and the bridesmaids help the bride get ready for the day. Together they get all the pictures of the moment including detail shots of the things that have a special place in everyone’s hearts.

Once the fun starts they work together to get all the fun on pictures. With both of them working at the wedding, you don’t have to worry about missing the events that are happening around you.

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

We offer black and white and sepia toning as a standard part of all our packages.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

We have experience shooting in natural light as well as shooting with flash. As a photographer you need to have the ability to shoot in all lighting conditions and adapt to them to get the best shot.

Is your media preference film or digital?

We primary shot in digital but we also have the ability to shot with film.

How many photographers do you work with?

All our packages include two photographers. You will met us, since we are the photographers, when you coming to look at our work. Our concern is that you like our work and that you feel comfortable with us.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Since we are the photographers, you will have us for your wedding. In the years that we have been in the business we have not missed a wedding and we don't plan too. If in the rare case that we have to miss the event, we will make arrangements to have another photographer shot the wedding and do everything in our power to have you met them before the wedding and have you review their work.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

We never book more then one event on a day. This includes engagements and portraits shoots. We don't want to rush thru your special day. For a weekend, we will sometimes book a engagement for both days.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

As mention in the one of the above questions, we do have contacts with other photographers and if for some reason we are unable to shoot the wedding, we will make arrangements to have another cover your wedding. We tend to work with photographers that shoot similar to our style and if a replacement is needed we will contact you and have you met them before the day.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

We normally bring all the equipment needed to shot the day. A series of lens to ensure we get all the shoots, a back up camera is keep close by, just in case, and we always have enough memory cards to cover the event. In the years we have been shooting we have never run out of memory cards, that stopped us from shooting the event.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

We do bring back up equipment to the event. But with two photographers in all our packages, if one of us has equipment issues the other is in place to cover the shots until the back-up equipment is in place. We have never had an issue where we miss a shot because of equipment issues.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

We have both packages that cover a time range as well as full day. this would all depend on your needs. Also our packages are flexible in the way can we are willing to make adjustment to met your needs.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

We do have an overtime fee and it is $450 an hour with the full hour paid.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We don't have set breaks that we take. What normally happens that we take advantage of the down times during the event to take short break, but even during this time we are still at the event and ready to continue shooting the moment things begin to happen.

Do you charge for travel?

We do charge travel fee for event that is more than 100 miles from Pasadena.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Normally we have the proofs ready in 4-6 weeks. What we do is we set up a web page online for you and your guests to view and order any pictures. At the reception, we supply small cards with instruction and password to access your event on the web page. This is standard for all our packages.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

We initially offer the proofs on a website, and offer the option of either having 4x6 proof prints or options to buy the high resolution images on a CD.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The proof prints are for the couple to keep. They will be in the form of either 4x6 proofs or high resolution images on a CD.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

We keep the rights to use the images for advertising. If the couple opts to purchase images on CD, then the copyrights for reprinting is released to them. If the couple prefers that we don't use their images for our advertising, then it must be documented on the contract at the time of signing.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

We only reserve the rights to publish the images for our own advertising. If an outside vendor request to use one of their images then we will contact the couple to either have them release the rights or to have that vendor contact them.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

We only provide digital images with the CD. They will be in the form of high resolution images.

Will images be available for viewing online?

The images will be posted on a website for viewing and purchasing. The link to the website will be supplied to the couple as well to all the guests in the form of a card on the date of the event at the reception.

What kind of albums do you offer?

We offer a wide selection of albums, from flush mount digital albums, magazine style, and press print albums. They vary in size from 5X5 all the way up to 11X17 with a wide selection of covers and options. We also custom design all our album designs.

When will the client get the final album?

You will normally get your album 4-6 weeks after you have approved the design. We offer you final approval of the layout on the album before sending the album to print.

Additional Advice

We also offer canvas prints as well and framed prints. Somthing unique we offer is a signing album that allow your guess to leave you messages, it is somthing you will need to see to understand what we are offering.
