Wow!! This is all I have to say. I was under the impression I have thought of everything as far as the details of my wedding is concerned. Well, I was wrong. Theresa has brought up at least a dozen things I realized I neglected. I am very impressed and very grateful to have a coordinator who is so on top of things. Whenever I call or email her, I feel like I am conversing with an old friend. It is very comforting to know I am in good hands.




I just booked Theresa from Hustle & Bustle today! After reading the reviews on here I decided it was definitely worth looking into. In my gut, I know this is the perfect selection. My fiance and I were impressed with her portfolio. Theresa is super friendly and knows exactly what I need for my wedding. It was comforting to hear from her my concerns and worries are normal and she has been through it all before. I originally thought a DOC was not going to be in the budget and considered a luxury. Now, I realize it is most likely a necessity. Whooo...I feel so happy knowing this will all come together and my hard work will pay off!




Our wedding isn't until next summer but Theresa has been anything but splendid on getting back to me regarding my clueless planning questions. She even checks in as a friendly reminder to plan for this shindig. Knowing that she's helping out with the DOC has lightened my load immeasurably.

Thank goodness we had Theresa to work with us for the day of our wedding and rehearsal. She is completely on top of everything and is a pleasure to work with. Although she specializes in day of coordination, she started working with us months before the wedding. I appreciate that she would check in with me to make sure everything was going ok. She met with us a couple of times before the wedding, and then really took charge the week before the wedding. It was so nice to be able to hand all of the vendor details and timeline off to her. so far i have nothing but praises. theresa has made me planning a wedding a lot easier. i don't have to get into fights with my mom, or his mom or my sisters; she is taking care of all of the details that no one really wants to do when they are a guest at a wedding, but would because they are my family. she has helped me not be the bridezilla i feared that maybe i could be. i wanted to plan my own wedding, but wanted someone else to worry if the flower girl has enough petals and when to pay the caterer and when to cut off my drunk uncle.




Teresa from Hustle & Bustle is so completely helpful. I am elated to have found her to be my DOC! Just thinking about all the things that need to be done during my wedding is daunting and knowing that I am probably forgetting some details frights me! I am so relieved Teresa will be there and I have not felt this relaxed in months! I live in Boston and got married on the other side of the country. It turned out to be a pretty daunting ordeal, planning my wedding from so far away. Theresa welcomed us with open arms and once we arrived, the week of our wedding, we were able to relax and actually feel like we were on vacation while on the brink of a life changing experience. I know how important booking the right DOC is. Our experience could have very easily been a stress filled nightmare, scrambling to get everything in place at the last minute. Actually, my parents discovered 'Hustle & Bustle'. Ron and I were a bit reluctant to hire a wedding coordinator because it was coming out of our pockets. Though, I knew our parents were worried they would be scrambling around arranging everything at the wedding when, really, they were hoping to be able to relax and basque in the glow of their babies getting married.
After meeting Theresa, the owner, I decided 'Hustle & Bustle' would be an excellent addition to our event. As the wedding approached I realized there were many things that needed to be tackled on the actual day while I would be busy taking pictures or getting ready( or just not want to be seen doing). I understood why my parents were so insistent on hiring help.
I really want to express my sincere thanks to Theresa! There were a couple times my nerves got the best of me and she was there for us like a solid rock. I really felt like she would do anything to ensure our happiness. I'm so lucky to be able to look back on my wedding and truly say it was perfect!




Hiring Hustle & Bustle to coordinate your wedding is the best idea you can make!! Who knew a get-together with close family and friends could require such work? Throughout my wedding day, I realized how grateful I was for having Theresa there. She arrived at my hotel suite early in the morning and kept all the hair and make-up people, photographer, videographer, bridal party, hotel staff, and family in the loop. Even though there were about 20 people crammed in my suite, she kept the morning from becoming chaotic, even running out to get us Coffee Bean! That morning, before my wedding, was the most excited I have ever been in my life. The anticipation of the ceremony, reception, seeing all my guests, and most of all finally seeing my groom, gave me the worst (best) case of butterflies I've ever experienced! Of course, the wedding was absolutely perfect and so much fun! I just wanted to describe the morning-of because it was so memorable and full of laughs. I believe, if you start out on the wrong foot, your wedding could be disasterous. IF you start out with a fabulous morning, relaxed and assured your day is in good hands, everything else the day reveals will flow beautifully! I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation to Theresa from Hustle & Bustle enough!
OH, and my intricate French bustle was tied up perfectly!




Theresa is GREAT! At first I was skepitcal about hiring a "Day of Planner" but in the end I was so glad I had Theresa! She helped me with anything and everything I needed help with. She made our day "Our Day". We didn't have to worry about anything. She took care of it all so we could just relax and enjoy. She took care of details like setting up our venues all the way down to little details like having our glasses full all night!
I got alot of compliments on her from guests and vendors. All my other vendors commented on how GREAT she was to work with. They said she was the best they have seen. Her attitude was great. She was very professional.
I guess the only thing to say is she was very kind, caring and attentive. She really made our day meomorable. I am so glad I had her there. It wouldn't have gone as well without her! If you want the best she is it!! Thank you so much Theresa!!




I met with Theresa from Hustle and Bustle yesterday and she was amazing! She's incredibly organized, supportive and really knows her stuff.
Initially, I wasn't sure whether or not I need a coordinator, but as the date gets closer, I'm finding that I'm more and more overwhelmed with the details. Theresa has put my mind at ease on several fronts and I feel like a great deal of stress has lifted now that she's on board.

I was very reluctant to hire a wedding coordinator but realized I didn't want to put my bridal party through the hassle of doing a lot of running around the day of the wedding (I really wanted them to enjoy themselves). I found Hustle & Bustle online and loved the website so much that I immediately called Theresa, the owner of H&B. She was so sweet on the phone so we arranged to meet the following week. I'm a stickler for punctuality so I was very happy when she arrived right on time. She came prepared with a list of questions but didn't bombard me with a lot of information. I was so impressed with her demeanor and professionalism that I hired her on the spot to be my day of coordinator.
Theresa and her assistant were amazing the day of the wedding! They came very early and with tons of enthusiasm. I felt so relaxed that day and I honestly believe it was because Theresa jumped right in and took control. I didn't have to worry about A THING. They helped the venue with set up (which they really didn't have to do but did anyway) and were extremely organized. During the reception, I think Theresa came to me with one question the entire night. The timeline was pretty much perfect - things were definitely on time. She loaded my car up with all the gifts, extra cake, and anything else that belonged to me and/or the bridal party at the end of the night. She went to the florist the next day to return some votives I had agreed to return and didn't complain when it turned out they were closed the next day.
I can recommend Theresa without any hesitation. Not only is she efficient, organized and highly professional, she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I am so grateful for all she did to make my wedding day one of the best nights of my life. You will not be disappointed if you hire her! :-)

If you need a wedding coordinator you must hire Kaci, She was INCREDIBLE AMAZING! I found Kaci through yelp. On my first meeting with Kaci I knew she had to be my day-of-coordinator. I can't think of anyone else who would have been as friendly, amazing, understanding or helpful as her. She is so patient and completely understood all my needs.Before the day, she made sure to have everything in order and I always felt comfortable knowing our day would go perfectly in her hands. Anything I had a question about she always had an answer for. Kaci, also thought of all the details of our day that my husband and I would have never thought about. Our day went smoothly because of her. There were certain parts of my reception that required special attention and Kaci was there to get it done. She was well organized and worked together with every vendor I had.There is absolutely no way we could have coordinated our wedding day all by ourselves, and my husband and I are so grateful for the opportunity to work with Kaci!Nothing went wrong and it's all because of Kaci and her team. I’m a bit of a control freak and usually afraid to let someone else run the show for me when I’m working on a project but hiring Theresa and her team from Hustle and Bustle Events was one of the best decision I have ever made! Upon the first time I met Theresa, she was bubbly, easy going and open to hear any ideas or concerns I had. Out of all of the coordinators that we met with, Theresa was the one I could trust in executing the vision I had for my wedding. From the day we signed on, Theresa was always accommodating to all of the questions I had.The décor, ambiance and entertainment for my wedding was superb. I hand crafted most of the decorations for my wedding and the Hustle and Bustle team executed the décor better than what I had envisioned. I also asked Theresa to help decorate my cake with my handcrafted paper flowers and I was so happy with the outcome of my cake decor. My wedding was perfect in every way because I never worried about one thing during the day.Our events were scheduled perfectly. Theresa contacted all of our vendors before the wedding day to ensure timely attendance, delivery and setup. Our wedding party and family photographs were scheduled on time because of the list Theresa helped coordinate. My mother said that it was so helpful to have our family lined up for photos since there were more than forty family members just on my (bride) side. My grandmother is eighty five years old and can’t move about without her walker. Kaci, Theresa’s associate was so kind to bring a plate of dinner with one of everything. It really meant a lot to me because my mother didn’t have to worry about preparing an extra meal for my grandmother. My mother never agreed when I added an extra wedding expense to my budget but she was so thankful that we hired Hustle and Bustle!Since everything was running so smoothly on schedule, my husband and I had plenty of time for dinner and was able to eat a full meal. Theresa and Kaci brought appetizers to the bridal suite where my husband and I shared some alone time to gather ourselves before the reception. Kaci and Theresa always made sure we had a drink in our hands.When the evening was over, Theresa had mentioned that a child had put their hands through the bottom tier of the cake. I would have freaked out had I known during the evening but Theresa and her associate plucked rose petals from an extra centerpiece and covered the damaged portion on the bottom tier of the cake. I was amazed because I thought I got a freebie from my florist throughout the whole evening but it was actually Theresa who decorated the cake with fresh flowers. Theresa also referred us to an amazing DJ, Jason Michaels. It’s been almost a week since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how smoothly our wedding ran and how wonderful and fun the entertainment was. By the end of the evening, our newly engaged friends asked Theresa for their contact information for their upcoming wedding. I also heard our photographer mention that she would also recommend Hustle and Bustle for her clients’ upcoming weddings. Like our family, friends and photographer, we would recommend everyone to hire Hustle and Bustle Events for the day of coordination! It will be the best investment you can make to ensure that your wedding day is perfect!

My husband and I were married on August 6th in front of nearly 250 family and friends, and the entire day was perfect. Kaci did a fantastic job! There were a lot of personalities involved in all aspects of my wedding and Kaci navigated them flawlessly. We hired Kaci within hours of our first meeting, and felt confident from the start that she "got" what we were trying to accomplish. Kaci was enthusiastic about the blending of my Armenian customs with the more typical American traditions. Kaci had a list for everything and reminded us of things we hadn't even thought of yet. The rehearsal went smoothly and when I handed over everything that night, I knew we were in very capable hands. Hustle & Bustle was recommended to me through a recently married friend of mine because I was having a serious crisis trying to plan a wedding while preparing for PhD exams. Needless to say our planner, Kaci Mallat, was a god send! She was always good about emailing me promptly on any number things, setting up meetings to discuss our vision of the wedding, and hooking us up with fabulous vendors.We had a cross-cultural wedding, with a very traditional Hindu ceremony in a temple, followed by an outdoor garden reception in the evening. Since I am not Hindu, I was really worried about planning, but Kaci has had experience doing this and anything she didn't know about more specific regional customs, she did her research on by contacting the priest and conferring with other sources. I'm so happy she went above and beyond!I know some people hesitate when they think a planner is going to cost them too much money, but Hustle Bustle is very reasonably priced, and because they work closely with vendors, we got excellent deals on a number of things we needed. And...you can actually enjoy your wedding day! Plus, I passed my exams, and I truly feel Kaci was in part responsible for that!




I hired Theresa at the beginning of the planning process as my day of coordinator and it was one of the best decisions I made. She provided advice throughout the planning making sure I was on track, and swept in during the last two weeks when I was most stressed and took over all the vendor confirmations and management of the rehearsal and day of. On the day of the wedding I just had to show up, focus on my husband, friends and family, and listen to her instructions as she guided my husband and I through the whole event! She had assistants available throughout the night and everything was taken care of. My family also loved her and the assistants because they didn't have to do anything, just enjoy the wedding.

I cannot say too many nice things about Theresa and her staff. She was my wedding coordinator. She was so knowledgeable and provided so many useful resources and vendors. We had no idea how much work went into planning a wedding. She walked us through each step and provided just the right amount of guidance. She gave us list of reliable vendors, gave us tipping guidelines and planned out our wedding ceremony schedule and coordinated all the vendors both prior to the wedding and on the day of the wedding.On the day of the wedding, our wedding went off without a hitch, it was so smooth I had nothing to worry about. When people ask me how I pulled off such a beautiful wedding, I turn around and credit Theresa with Hustle and Bustle. I was having the hardest time getting my wedding planning going at first, and it wasn't until almost 8 months into the engagement that I realized I would need some serious help to get my act together. I started by interviewing several Day-Of Coordinators (I thought that would be all I needed), and while many were very nice, I didn't sense that connection I needed to trust someone with such an important day. All that changed when I met Theresa.I originally hired her (at a very reasonable price) for DOC. After a few months and her first visit to the venue with me, I think we both knew I was looking for something more in depth. I ended up expanding her contract to include helping me find more vendors and creating the "look" I wanted. It was SO worth it! I had this jumbled mess of small ideas in my head, and she helped me craft it into a beautiful wedding! I seriously would have been lost in the planning process without her. Theresa's package included unlimited emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings (very rare among other planners), amazing vendor referrals (she hooked me up with the best DJ, Florist, and Photographer and went with me to a few meetings), complete oversight of the wedding day, a peace of mind that is worth millions of dollars, a sense of humor, last minute vendor procurement (we decided to add a popcorn cart one week before the wedding and she booked it within hours at a very reasonable price!), and basically the best wedding anyone could ask for!Her company's name really speaks for itself... during my reception my dad commented that she was REALLY on top of everything. She brought 2 assistants, one of which was always within eyeshot for anything we needed. I don't think I spoke to any of my other vendors up until the wedding day, but they all knew exactly what they were doing and what the timeline said, thanks to Theresa.For me, the most invaluable service that Theresa provided was reassurance. I was very unsure of myself and my ideas, but she thought that everything I came up with was worth exploring (even my crazy ideas!) When I had trouble deciding something, she was patient and helped me see that I had already made up my mind even when I had second thoughts. She stood beside me at my venue appointments to ensure the staff there knew exactly what I wanted, and asked questions I never would have thought of. At the end of the night she made sure we had extra food, hot coffee in our car, and everything packed up nice and neat. I can't imagine what the day would have been like without Hustle and Bustle! Worth every penny!

Due to an illness in the family I only had 3 months to plan our wedding and after working like crazy to book the major vendors I realized it was just to much to do on my own and decided to seek out a day of coordinator! I came across Hustle and Bustle Events on here and decided to contact Theresa! She was a joy to work with from the very beginning! She met with us many times before our fast approaching wedding to make sure that all of the details were in order and I knew after handing her everything on our rehearsal day that our event would be beautiful! She was careful to follow my detailed instructions on some of our decor elements and took liberties with the less specific elements and we were blown away! Everything looked beautiful! When I first met Theresa, I was blown away by her attentive nature. She was so genuinely interested in knowing and understanding my vision for the big day. After meeting her I instantly knew she would be the best person to coordinate our wedding day. She was always accessible in various ways and whenever I went to her with anything, she always would give options and provide me with answers. While planning I became overwhelmed by all the vendor options for florist, limos, invitations, and so on. All I can say is WOW! The first time I met Theresa I knew she was the one to handle my wedding. No matter what question I threw her way she always had an answer for me no matter what time of the day it was. Not once during my planning did I regret my decision to go with Theresa. She became more than a planner to me, I consider her a friend!! She is very organized and assertive. I'm a very organized person and I need everything to be perfect and my ceremony/reception was just that! She saw my vision and did not disappoint, I was able to enjoy my night and didn't worry one bit. If something went wrong, I didn't hear about it. If you're getting hitched and want your wedding day to also go off without a hitch, you NEED Theresa! My fiance (errr, husband!) was the one who found Hustle & Bustle Wedding Coordination through the PW reviews, and as soon as I met with Theresa for the first time I knew she had to be our day-of coordinator. I can't think of anyone else who would have been as friendly, amazing, understanding or helpful as her.
Our venue (Orcutt Ranch in West Hills, which was equally as awesome, btw) was very DIY, so we pretty much did all of our decor -- we were going for an antique & vintage-inspired wedding, so all of our centerpieces were old books and one-of-a-kind finds from flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores. Theresa was so incredibly accommodating and set up all of our carefully-planned decor perfectly; in fact, we couldn't have done it better ourselves! She understood exactly what we wanted and what our needs were!
My husband and I were absolutely clueless when it came to planning the details of our ceremony and reception, and Theresa went over the entire schedule with us and made sure it was what we wanted. There were so many times she asked us questions about things that had never even occurred to us to consider.
She also made sure we followed our schedule and hunted us down so that we were on time for everything. There is absolutely no way we could have coordinated our wedding day on our own, and my husband and I are so grateful for the opportunity to work with Theresa!

Theresa did an amazing job at our 4th of July wedding. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Hustle and Bustle through projectwedding. She was the 2nd person I contacted and met with and decided shortly after our meeting to hire her for a day of coordinator. Theresa went out of her way to meet with me on more then one occassion as well as respond quickly to all of my phone calls. Theresa drove to our venue a few months prior to become familiar with the staff and location. She always had a calming effect on me and made sure the day of our wedding that everything went as smooth as possible.
This is a short list (maybe not for the reader) of the services provided to us by Theresa:
1.) She provided us with a list of vendors for items we were still working on.
2.) Drove to our venue and met with staff
3.) Attended our meal sampling
4.) Met with us at our home to go over final details and day of schedule
5.) Contacted all vendors to provide important information
6.) Coordinated our hectic rehearsal (she even stayed through my husbands coordination of the bridal party entrance-too funny.)
7.) Placed all items to be displayed on the wedding day in a safe place and made sure to return to me every single item provided to her.
8.) Changed our engagement picture on our signature frame at the very last minute (I provided her with a better looking picture moments before ceremony began.)
9.) Kept us on schedule for all events (ie. 1st dance, slide show, toasts, garter toss...)
10.) Made sure my husband and I and our bridal party had appetizers and drinks while we took pictures and lined up for the introductions
11.) Provided all vendors with their tips
12.) And I could go on forever, but most importantly she made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing and reminded us to enjoy ourselves.

Theresa was the best investment I ever made for my entire wedding experience and overall happiness and peace of mind! Our wedding was very unique as it involved multiple ceremonies and multiple cultures. My husband is Indian and I am Taiwanese, and our wedding was a fusion of both of the cultures. We had 4 events in total that needed to be managed during our wedding weekend - all of which were 100 person plus.
We had a 120 person Sangeet Menhdi, a 200 person Chinese Banquet Rehearsal Dinner, a 10 person wedding rehearsal, and a 320 person Hindu and Western style wedding day - all within one weekend.
The most taxing event was the wedding day itself, which was a 16 hour day with 2 different ceremonies (a Hindu Indian ceremony AND a Western style "American" wedding) and included a guest list of over 300 people. There were so many little details and cultural nuances that needed to be managed throughout wedding day, and the schedule had to strictly maintained in order to fit all the events in (2 ceremonies, pictures, cocktail hours, speeches, dinner, cake cutting, dancing, etc). Theresa did an AMAZING job keeping everything under control and following all the right cultural mores and protocals to make the events run smoothly. On the wedding day, there was an emergency mishap that occured when the ice caterer broke a pipe on the estate property where the wedding was taking place, and I didn't know anything about it or needed to worry about it all.
Theresa handled all the details large and small with aplomb and poise, never stressing the bride out and always keeping me sheltered from trouble on the big day. She was truly magnificent as our day of coordinator. She is flexible, adaptive and extremely sensitive to every person's needs in the wedding. In both the Taiwanese and Indian culture, it is customary that the wedding is as much of an event for the parents and family as much as it is for the bride and groom. As both of our parents were still very much rooted to their native Taiwanese and Indian cultures, they definitely needed special acknowledgement from a coordinator to adhere to some of their needs. Theresa was very aware of that fact and respected and followed all of the parents' quirky requests and cultural needs. It impressed me beyond words as my wedding was the first Hindu Indian wedding Theresa had coordinated, but with the way she handled everything, it was as if she had been doing Indian fusion weddings for a lifetime.
Beyond Theresa's amazing competency, professionalism, intelligence, and excellent management skills, she is just such a beautiful person inside and out. She is humorous, charming, kind, down to earth, and gets along with even the most difficult and demanding personalities. I felt like we became good friends in the short time we spent together during the wedding planning process (we started working together only a month out from the wedding). She is so real, so approachable, and you never felt like you were just "another client". Every meeting we had together, it was super productive and thorough. And being budget conscious, you cannot beat Theresa's rate. She was the most fair and best value among the 10 coordinators I interviewed.

I booked Ryann and Theresa from Hustle and Bustle about a year prior to my wedding. I had a general ideal as to what I wanted so they provided my husband and I a partial planning package. Through our many conversations, meetings, and email correspondence, I had the joy of feeling like we had become great friends. By the time my wedding came around, it was so wonderful having them to rely on. It was important for me to throw a vintage inspired, yet, stylish event and those girls really gave me some fabulous ideas and I gave them the go ahead to achieve my dream look. I was over the moon with the decorations and details, like, the peacock feathers used in my centerpieces and in my aisle arrangements, something I would not have thought of. Most importantly, I felt taken care of and I was super impressed with their reliability. Just to think I was so close to not hiring a DOC and my wedding could have been a crazy, stressful mess. Theresa was the best investment I made for my wedding and the nicest thing I did for myself. She was so on top of EVERYTHING and allowed me to enjoy the day without worrying about the small details. Here are just a few things she did on my wedding day:- She arranged my DIY centerpieces, frames with the table names, and champagne flutes on all the guests tables beautifully. - The way she set up the entry way was better than I could have done myself. The placements of the gift table, escort card table, and my photo booth were all perfect. She really had an eye for how these things should look. - Okay, my caterer was a pain and a tacky pain too! He had one of his waiter spread out their catering business cards on EVERY guest table during set up. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw it. I just kept saying, “Seriously, who does that??!!!!” Luckily, Theresa stepped in, talked to the caterer, and had the business cards removed (despite a little fit from my caterer). Theresa saved me from some major embarrassment and I am so thankful!- She did an amazing job keeping everyone in the loop with what is happening and on track with the timeline. - Theresa actually started loading presents into the car before the wedding was over; my family barely had to do anything. My Uncle was so impressed by her work ethic and professionalisms, he thought she was fantastic!Beyond kicking butt on my wedding day, Theresa was simply the nicest person to work with in the weeks leading up to my wedding. She checked in with me periodically to make sure I was fine/not too frazzled. She called and made arrangements with some of my vendors, and answered my e-mails the same day (if not within an hour of me sending it) -- This was seriously a HUGE plus!!! I had vendors who did not return my e-mails for weeks!! Theresa was so good at e-mailing and calling me back and I love her for it! I think most brides out there know how frustrating it is to have to wait days/weeks for a vendor. Theresa will be there for you!! :o) Hiring Theresa to be my DOC was a very smart decision and I would recommend her to anyone!

You hope that your wedding will be perfect and our’s was just that; perfect! You wouldn’t believe the nerves we had going into that week. Luckily, as a wedding gift, my dad hired Hustle and Bustle for the wedding day. Seriously, if it wasn’t for Theresa’s hard work that day, I’m sure it would not have gone so well. She really hustled and bustled! We had one scary situation. The limo company guaranteed us two limos for the day. They assured us it would be no problem. But on the day of my wedding they sent me a limo and an SUV. We were horrified. They weren’t even the same color! But wow, it gave us a chance to see Theresa go to work on her cell. As far as wedding coordinators go, Theresa from Hustle & Bustle is the best of the best. It probably takes enormous amounts of patience, creativity, and stanima to pull off what she can pull off. I was deeply impressed with her talent and the skillful ways she approached unique aspects of my event. I was informed, after the fact, that a certain vendor threatened to leave before the reception was over and Theresa went out of her way to successfully handle the situation without me having a clue. She did not want to have anything spoil a second of my day! Though it seems minor now, I will forever be grateful for my DOC. Theresa is by far the nicest wedding coordinator I've worked with. Most importantly, she's extremely professional and gets the job done. She hustles and smiles the entire time. My DJs and I have worked over 200 weddings and events in five years and we put her at the top of the list. I don't know what it is, but too many coordinators try to make it "their" day instead of the Bride and Groom's day.
