Hy-Vee (Westlakes)

Stephanie the manager of the floral department made my day so beautiful. I was a little picky to what flowers I did not want and what colors I did want. We sat down together talked about our budget and we selected that most beautiful flowers ever. All of our centerpieces at the receptions were beautiful. I would recommend this Hy-vee Floral department and work with Stephanie she is the best.

They were amazing. You get a 10% discount if you use three of their departments and they also have wine and beverage department that I did not use but everything came together and was early on our wedding day. I highly recommend them.

They were amazing!!! They helped me to know what was practical with type of crowd i had and what i needed for my budget. I would recommend it to everyone.

Stacey was a lifesaver! Without her our wedding would not have been possible. She was able to work with our budget and provide us with the most beautiful wedding possible. We used their Chinese department for our Chinese food buffet and we heard compliments about the food all night. The flowers and the cake were amazing. More than I could have ever asked for!

Hy-Vee did a great job matching colors to what my Wife wanted for our cakes! They made three separate cakes for our wedding reception, and all three were amazing!

I was extremly disappointed with the Hy-Vee floral department. We went in to look at flowers and had several books thrown our way. We were told to take a look and let them know what we thought. From there on no one ever came back to check on us at any point. When we tried to go to the counter to discuss our choices we were told that they were too busy to help us. We had set up an appointment for that time! They asked us to come back at another time, but we chose not to return. The customer service was very poor and we were treated very rudley.

I wasn't very keen on going to a grocery store bakery for my wedding cake, but I had a sample at one of the bridal fairs and it was fabulous so I decided to give it a try. Sally at the bakery was super nice and very confident that she would be able to create my dream cake from a picture I brought in. She even put it on the stand I had purchased. The cake was absolutely beautiful!! All my guests raved about it and wanted to know where I had ordered it! In addition, they were very flexible as far as delivery was concerned, and I also had my own florists add flowers to the cake which Hy-Vee bakery was very gracious to allow. I paid less than $100 for my 3-tiered cake and no less quality than my sister's $700 wedding cake!

Stacey was amazing! She matched the decorations on the serving lines to our theme. She was willing to get a recipe and cator to the salad the groom requested (his only request of the entire wedding, Stacey made it happen) The staff was professional and flexibile coming early to get and idea of the lay out and making sure everything was ready for our BIG DAY!

What a great choice we made here! We had a fall wedding, so we wanted carrot cake with fall leaves streaming down the side. The cake was gorgeous. Every year we buy a smaller version of the cake because it was so good!

we actually used the HyVee in Urbandale, IA but it wasn't listed. They were great and let me do exactly what I wanted which saved us money. I had a family friend who was great with arranging the flowers so we just had a bunch of plain gerbera daiseys delivered to the reception and she took care of the rest. The flowerist did the bouquets, etc. and they turned out great!
