Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square

I stayed here for my bachelorette party and had a great visit. Great staff, clean and decent size rooms.

The staff were excellent! The event manager was very professional and responded to any questions or concerns we had immediatley. We were concerned when our origional manager quit, but our next one was even BETTER. The food was EXCELLENT - I couldn't have asked for anything else. It fulfilled every dream we had!

With over 200 guests for my reception I was concerned that I was only going to find stuffy ballrooms. Instead, I found the beautiful Hyatt! At every step the staff was accommodating our every need: from the first appointment where my dad's flight was late so they were late to see the venue, all the way through to adding more last minute rooms for added guests. Every time we needed something Alison and her team delivered.

It's also important to note that the food was really good, too. Sometimes we tend to think of hotel food as being bland or 'rubbery chicken,' but every single thing we had at the Hyatt was of the highest quality. I would eat there again any day. We were quite impressed!

The Hyatt on Captial Square in downtown Columbus, OH is perfect for a wedding reception! I had my 200 person wedding reception in the Govenor's Ballroom and the event was exactly what I dreamed! Alison was great to work with - understanding issues with guests and always quick to respond. The food was excellent - I chose three selections and a sit-down style for my guests. We received excellent feedback on the food and wait staff.

Most of our family guests were from out of town and stayed at the Hyatt all weekend. The rooms were beatuiful (and reasonable when reserving a block in advance!), and the staff were prompt in any request. I stayed in the hotel Friday night in their suite and couldn't be happier - the room was incredible and had plenty of room for 1 bride, 3 bridesmaids and 4 flower girls to get ready Saturday morning!

We also hosted a Brunch the morning after the reception. They Hyatt used my centerpieces from the reception for the brunch. The room looked like an extension of the night before - and they did this without me making a request. Just one example of how the Hyatt went above and beyond. I highly recommend them for your wedding event. You and your guests will be impressed!
