The Hyatt Pier 66 is absolutely fabulous. My coordinator Keith was the best! He was so attentive and made my day run so smooth. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Him, along with the Hyatt team were so fantastic. The service, food and hotel was amazing. I received so many great compliments from all my guests and they said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. My reception was on the Pier Top and the room is just breath taking. I would highly recommend this location for any event!! Thank you Hyatt team for making my day so incredible and day I will remember as the best day ever!
We got married at Pier 66 on July 4th . A day to remember!!
Our ceremony was held outdoors under the beautiful palm trees with perfect weather, I think Eric, our wedding planner somehow called in sunny skies and a slight breeze for us. It was absolutely perfect. Everything was done magnificently. Our reception was held at the Pier top and we couldn't have asked for anything more amazing. With the 4th of July fireworks show from the Pier top to the incredibly beautiful room and everything in between, We all had the time of our lives. Our guests were so impressed with everything from the Ceremony to the Reception and the exceptional service from the staff at the Hyatt.
Most of our guests were from out of town and out of country so we spent a few days at the hotel and had a fabulous time at the pool and around Ft. Lauderdale with our guests.
I would highly recommend this venue for your perfect day. It was the last venue I looked at and my first choice instantly. Our wedding planner Eric Clark was truly amazing, he was the essence of calm and took care of us incredibly well. The day of, I truly felt like a Princess and everything was perfect.

My daughter (and son-in-law's) wedding ceremony and reception were held in June 2012 at Pier Sixty-Six's Panorama Terrace and Ballroom. Both were lovely venues inside and out, with superb views of the intracoastal and several beautiful yachts.
We had been working since July of 2011 with Laura, who left the Hyatt just weeks before the wedding and our event was taken over by Eric Clark. Eric was very responsive and so eager to please and his goal was to make our event the best it could be. He went out of his way to make some final adjustments, spent lots of time with us on our room set up and timeline, helped out with our guest rooms, attended and organized our rehearsal and was at the ceremony and reception from start to finish, seeing to all of the little details. I would recommend working with Eric as he is very detail oriented and attentive and will see that everything is just the way you want it. He wants you to be happy!
The food at our event was delicious and the service was wonderful, as were the views, the guest rooms, restaurant meals and we received many compliments on every aspect of our event from locals as well as our out-of-town guests. We as the parents of the bride stayed 6 nights and found the hotel and its staff delightful and very accomodating.
We would highly recommend The Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six. Eric and Jennifer made a great team and we are extremely pleased.
My wedding was held at Hyatt Pier 66 on May 21, 2012 in the Pier Top and later followed by a reception in the Crystal Ballroom.
My now husband and I were also working with Laura, and didn't find out til a couple weeks before the wedding that she was no longer with the company. Eric Clark took over and basically made the impossible, POSSIBLE! He took full responsibility from beginning to end to make my day special and went over and beyond to get every little bit of detail covered.
The day of the wedding, I couldn't thank Eric Clark more! Without him my day wouldn't have been perfect. He was there from start to finish and made sure the wedding and reception went by smoothly.
I would recommend EVERYONE that is getting married to book their venue at The Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six with Eric Clark no doubt about it! Thank you so much for everything you have done!
It took me over a year to finally decide on the perfect venue and of course, the Hyatt was the last place I looked. I guess I saved the best venue for last!
Once we started planning we originally worked with Laura, who left the Hyatt three weeks before our wedding (go figure) and luckily our event was taken over by Eric Clark.
Eric was fabulous and very eager to please. He was a dream to work with and I wish he was there from the very beginning. Not only did he go out of his way to make some final adjustments, he always called to check in and follow-up and spent a good amount of time with us making sure everything was perfect.
I highly recommend working with Eric. He is not only attentive, but he will make sure your wedding is everything you dreamed of!
Beside our catering manager, one of the best things at our wedding was the food. Everything was delicious and we received numerous compliments and praises for the meal we selected- a duo of Chimichurri steak and chicken with risotto, a last minute detail that was worked out and perfected!) In fact, many guests asked for seconds!
The views of the water and skyline were the icing on the cake. Not only did we have panoramic views of the water but the revolving room made sure everyone had the best seat in the house. We were beyond satisfied with our choice of venue and I would highly recommend The Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six for your event. My only complaint was that everything went by so fast.
I honestly can not verbalize just how amazing this hotel venue is. I had my wedding there last weekend and it was, by far, the best day of my life. I was planning on doing the ceremony on their beautiful lawn, but due to windy weather and possible rain, I last minute switched to an inside room. It was great though because it was right on the window and actually turned out to be a better spot! The part that makes this the best is my catering manager, Keith Willard. I think there could be a book written about how great he is. He helped with every detail. His recommendations for DJs, florist, etc was spot on. The food there was AMAZING. I am a HUGE critic when it comes to food and this is definitely at the top of my list. We had the venue at the Pier Top. It was unbelievable. It sets apart any venue from the rest. The views are amazing, the room was beautiful and the tablecloths and chair covers they provided were so nice. It simply could not have been any fancier. Also, I was impressed with the servers. They treated the guests as if they were in a five star restaurant (which in a sense they were) and were so nice and professional. What particularly impressed me is that their tip is already included, yet they still were attentive, professional and nice! I would not change one thing about my wedding. If you go with the Pier Top and have Keith Willard for your catering manager, you simply will have the best wedding you could ever imagine!
I honestly can't say enough good things about the Hyatt Pier 66. I was married in the pier top on July 16th, 2011, and it was truly the best day of my life. My parents and I worked with Laura Prather- who is the sweetest and most professional caterer i think exists. As a resident of Fort Lauderdale, I had been in the roof-top before. But when i walked into the pier top when scouting reception venues- i was immediately reminded that the view is breath-taking! I've learned the one thing your guests will remember at your wedding is the view/atmostphere/ setting. If that sucks- then you can bet everything else will suck as well! You can't get more of a picturesque view as you do in the pier-top of the Hyatt.
Over the course of a year, Laura and I conversed both on the phone and through emails on a regular basis about my wedding ideas, vendors, etc. Laura never limted our phone conversations and she was always available to converse with. Not only was she extremely professional- but I knew she personally cared about my special day. She even gave me her cell phone number the month of my wedding and told me to call her anytime!
The tasting was fantastic! And on the day of our wedding, the food came out hot and exactly as we had had it on the tasting! All of our guests raved about the food! The garlic shrimp risotto was delicious, the pear salad was scrumptious and our filet was sooo tender! Everyone truly loved the food, view and atmostphere! The Hyatt Pier 66 is the perfect package for a wedding reception!
Everything that was promised was delievered, and more! My wedding day was the most magical day of my life- and i owe it all to the Hyatt.

I have so many amazing, wonderful memories of the Pier 66, since a young girl I have always wanted to be married here, and on March 13,2011 I was married in the pier top room.
Finding this venue, was not hard it was a dream of mine, that finally came true. One of the greatest parts of this experience was working with our Catering Manager Keith Willard, he was a angel the entire experice, from day one he was there for me, and my family doing anything we needed, and always made us feel so comfortable.
What a pleasure it was as the wedding got closer, the food tasting was out of this world, and the rehersal dinner was amazing, as well as the atmosphere.
The day of the wedding was the most amazing day of my entire life, almost like a dream come true, and in every way it was perfect, nothing went wrong, Keith worked so hard and so did the Hyatt team, the meals were hot and cooked to perfection we had so many guests tell us it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding.
The view alone in the Pier top is so different, and unique and made us feel so lucky and special to not have the traditional boring wedding room.
I want to thank the Hyatt Pier 66 & Keith Willard for the amazing time and effort, and memories that will never be forgotten.

our daughter and son in law got married on Nov 20th. We arrived on the 18th to relax and comfortable. Friday the 19th was the rehearsal on property at the Pelican Landing.....20th was the wedding reception in the PierTop and Sunday Brunch in a private lovely window location overlooking the pool and gardens. Scott Schaeffer handled our wedding and we were all elated! Our guests could not stop talking about the venue and the food.... and Scott was personally present and available at all 3 events...he really didnt need to be because his staff is second to none. If you want an amazing affair you must contact Scott. Additionally , the rooms were so so comfortable. We stayed in the lanai area and really really enjoyed every minute. Thank you Scott and the entire staff at Pier 66 for making our daughters wedding weekend a truly memorable experience for all of us!
I'm so pleased with the service my husband and I received at the Hyatt. Keith Willard, our catering manager, was incredible. I don't think I could have done it without him. I highly recommend the Hyatt as a wedding venue. It is pricey, however, well worth it. The only problems I had were the cake and the bartender. The cake that comes included in the package (brides and grooms get to pick flavour, etc.) was very dry. Also, our bartender closed the bar without asking us if we would like to keep it open an hour longer, which we wanted to do. Therefore, our reception was cut short.
The Hyatt was wonderful! My wedding was absolutely perfect on their behalf, and Keith is the greatest! He is a pleasure to work with. We only had one room issue involving bugs and lizards, however it was resolved within 24hrs and everyone was happy.
Pier 66 is an absolutely amazing place for a wedding!! They treat you and your guests like gold - the customer service is fantastic throughout the entire process. Our coordinator was Keith Willard and he is a superstar!! I was so stress free the entire planning process and even the day of the wedding all thanks to him. Even when we had a slight menu problem, he quickly came to the rescue to adjust things and ensure that not only me and my husband, but that also my father (who paid for the wedding) was satisfied. Keith is fantastic, and I would recommend the beautiful Pier 66 to any bride!! Thanks, Keith!
Where do we start –
My fiancé and I visited a couple of hotels in the area – we were not sure what we really wanted until we met Keith Willard. I believe that in the first 5 minutes, Keith had us fall in love with Pier 66. It is definitely not a hard thing to do; the property is amazing. We cancelled all of our other appointments – Pier 66 was a reception location. We had our ceremony at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church which is just around the corner; perfect location to have our guest stay and cut the cost of renting a car. Unlike most couples we had a reception at the Panorama Ballroom. The Ballroom faces the marina and it had the most amazing view and not to mention we had an early enough wedding that we were blessed with a beautiful sunset.
We had the PERFECT wedding and I can’t thank the Managers and staff enough for the VIP service not only the bride and groom received by the entire wedding guest.
Keith is simply AMANZING – I can’t say enough praises about him. He transformed one of the smaller conference rooms into a makeup / hair salon. We hire make artist and hair dresser to doll up the wedding party. We had Jerry at our back and call- very nice guy.
When we arrived from the church; who was there waiting for us – no other than Keith Willard. The reception room was BEAUTIFUL – everything I dreamt off and more. He really listen to me and saw my vision and what amazes me the most is that it was only with 2 -3 conversations.
Keith made sure we had Dee as our personal server. She was so sweet; my fiancé and now husband was so impressed with her that we made a special stop the next day to tell Keith how wonderful she was. Everything was simply AMAZING – I can’t thank enough the whole staff at Hyatt Pier 66 and Keith Willard – who made it all possible.
It was THE PERFECT wedding. I am very thankful and bless to have had the pleasure of meeting these individual.
We had our ceremony and reception here. The Hyatt Pier 66 is a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony. The grounds are immaculate. Our reception was in the Piertop ballroom. The view is absolutely amazing. Prior to our wedding date I was little put off by the lack of attention we received, but about 1 month prior to the wedding and on the wedding day, I couldn't have been happier. The food was amazing! My guests were in love with the view. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond for us! Thank you Keith and Jennifer for all your time and effort. It is definitely a special place!!
My wife and I got married at Pier Top. All I can say is it was the perfect dream book wedding. Scott (the manager there) was so helpful and did anything and everything we asked to the T. If you got the money you cant find a better place in all of south Florida. Food was amazing too!
The staff at the Hyatt was amazing they treated us like royalty and there were two other weddings that weekend, and you would never even know it. I felt like a princess the entire weekend. The staff of the hotel knew who I was, and took special care of me and my family. If we needed something it was done. The reception room is above amazing, you will not find another room in Ft. Lauderdal that compares to this room. You have a round room with windows that has a complete view of all of Ft. Lauderdale, it is breath taking. I was walking on clouds all day and night, who wouldn't want to marry the man of their dreams, have the wedding of their dreams in the most beutiful place you can imagine? I know I did, and would recommend it to everyone.
And they do all the catering there and the food is amazing.

I cannot say enough about the staff at the Hyatt Pier 66. The service was inpeccable and the food was delicious! I am so pleased with everything. They listened to all of my needs and were very accomdating! They made the reception better than I could have ever imagined!!
Scott Schafer was exceptional. He went over and beyond his required duties. He worked with us to make us feel happy with both the reception, catering, menu, etc. He was like my own personal wedding coordinator when it came down to the wire. I would definetly recommend his services to anyone. The wedding site was off the wall (EXCEPT FOR THE RAIN) gorgeous. It was like a fairytale for the money we paid. The staff bent over backwards to make both my husband and I happy as well as our guests.
They were amazing. Really helpful with every aspect, kept me on schedule. My wedding was flawless from beginning to end. I was so so happy! Would do it all over again
