Long to short, we are happy with our venue, it required a lot of work in a short of time because we use the same venue for both ceremony and reception so they had a short time to convert our ceremony setting into the reception setting and did a good job on that. There are problem here and there for their service and staffs and their price is a bit high when you compare with the service at the end of the day. But we happy with over all.

Irfan was our wedding coordinator at the Hyatt and he was wonderful. He helped make sure everything we needed/wanted was taken care of in a timely manner. He also checked in with us at our wedding reception. The food was wonderful as well and the chef was willing to help us out with a few special diet needs for family members. Everything about the evening was wonderful.

Dealing with the Hyatt to plan our reception was wonderful. The staff is very professional. Many of my guests commented on the quality of the food. Our wedding coordinator was present at the reception for the first 3-4 hours to make sure everything got going smoothly. It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful location.

We had our wedding here this year. Nice hotel, but serious issues came up. Pros:1. The food was good and we felt like we really got the value of our money. We had a five course meal for dinner (not including the cake) and hor d oeuvres for cocktail hour (which includes cheese display, crudites, crab rangoon, sirloin, salmon). The food was good and reasonable.2. The staff was really helpful and accomodating throughout the evening. They lent us projector tables, cake stands, servers, etc.3. They gave us a free upgrade to a two-night suite stay. 4. They were flexible with what we wanted in terms of food, room setup, etc.5. Hyatt is open to having us get our own chair cover vendor, cake vendor, projector rental, etc. Most hotels require that you rent their services so you're stuck with hotel prices. Because of Hyatt's flexibility, we were able to get vendors that are cheaper.6. Free self-parkingHowever, I'm sad to say that this is mostly all the positive things we can take away from them. The cons definitely outweigh the pros with the severity of the issues we encountered on the day-of.Cons:Planning:1. It took them a while to respond to our emails, requests for meetings, revised food listing, etc. It was hard to keep on chasing them for documents, meeting/tasting requests and confirmation on the details we discussed. We hoped they could have paid more attention to us, responded timely and address our concerns promptly.Day-of:1. Ventilation: The temperature in the ballroom was uncomfortably hot. Our guests were sweating and fanning themselves throughout the evening. Many had to leave the ballroom because of the heat. Hyatt should have tested and fixed the air conditioning beforehand.2. Lighting: The lights above the right side of the head table were not working all evening. This ruined the overall ambience, as well as the wedding photos. We were disappointed to hear (from our coordinator) that the lights were not screwed in properly, especially since our most important guests (such as parents and godparents) were seated there. Again, this should have been tested and fixed beforehand.3. Bug in food: We were extremely upset to learn that one of our guests found a bug in their salad. They informed the waiter, who gave them a new dish. However, we feel that this was unacceptable, especially for a wedding event. We've spoken with the Director of Catering on the above issues and they have been apologetic about it. They're offering us several things to compensate for the issues and although we can't do anything about them now, at least they were professional about it.
