The venue is SO Gorgeous! Couldn't ask for a more beautiful spot. The price is incredibly reasonable, for a sit down dinner. Perfect place for a tiny formal wedding, and the food is incredible!

Service at Hyeholde was impeccable from start to finish. Matt and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate you and make sure that your day goes as smoothly as possible. Whenever we had questions, which was somewhat frequently, Matt was prompt to respond with answers within a day or two and always made himself available if we wanted/needed to meet with him. We were even able to schedule a couple of times to practice our first dance on their dance floor! On the day of our wedding, Matt and his staff were there to provide us with whatever we needed, sometimes without us even asking! And all of our guests were raving about the food! We feel so fortunate that our wedding was in such a romantic, unique venue and that the service, food and value was top notch! Thank you Hyeholde!

We were extremely pleased with the service we received at the Hyeholde. The only detail that wasn't provided to spec was that the bottles of wine we requested to have on the tables were not there when we sat own. When we mentioned it, they immediately provided bottle service at no extra cost and kept checking on us to ensure everything was okay, which it was. The food is delicious, the venue is gorgeous, and Matt, the coordinator, was a calming presence and ensured a lot of the other details came together.

We used Hyeholde for our September 2010 wedding ceremony and reception. They were the only place we visited and the only place we wanted.

The staff is absolutely fantastic. Matthew, who manages the Round Room, answered any question thrown at him promptly, calmly, and completely. Never once did he try to “sell” us anything; actually he spoke up if he thought we were overdoing the amount of food. He and his staff were on top of every detail we could think of and many we couldn’t. After the ceremony he was there with snacks and water. (note: Jeffrey was the day of coordinator before Matthew. We met with both and every fantastic thing someone says about Jeffrey is true of Matthew).

The food was delicious. We had a buffet of pasta primavera, green beans, minted baby zucchini, smashed Yukon potatoes, prime rib, and grilled chicken marsala. We received so many compliments. Everyone loved the food, ate plenty, and there was still leftovers (which tasted great).

The outdoor location is lovely. We were outdoors and it was perfect; plenty of room for all of us, but still intimate. The round room itself is also beautiful-a roughly oval room with half the area windows overlooking a nice little “yard.” It’s perfect as is, so you can get away with very little decoration, but it won’t overpower if you want to go elaborate. The “yard” was popular during the reception when people wanted to take a break from dancing and get a little air.

And Hyeholde is a fantastic value. Please please don’t be intimated by the food or pictures-it’s incredibly affordable. We scrimped a bit on things other than Hyeholde, but our entire wedding (including Hyeholde, photographer, dress, etc.) was still under $7,000 for 62 people. And of that Hyeholde provided ceremony location, ceremony seating, reception location, food, tables, utensils, and Matthew as the day of coordinator. They even took care of “bathroom baskets.” If you go to their website, everything is listed so you can see right away if it will work for you and your budget.

I cannot recommend Hyeholde highly enough for couples who want a unique, intimate location that will respond politely to every request and take care of practically every detail-which is actually every couple I’ve ever met planning a wedding.

jeffrey was awesome to work with. he was very kind, informative, and professional. he helped me fine tune the details of hosting a cocktail reception with a non traditional ceremony included. his staff was nothing but accomodating. they set up a coffee bar for us the morning we set up, tied my husband's tie, and went above and beyond to give us exactly what we wanted. many guests left saying it was the "best" wedding they had ever attended. we were more than pleased. i would highly recommend the hyeholde. we plan to return every year for our anniversary.

I had the most wonderful wedding. The event coordinator, Jeff was fabulous. I did not worry about a thing! I even had a personal assistant to help me throughout the day. The food by far was the best meal I ever had at wedding. I know that I might be bias, but all my guests to this day still talk about the venue and food! The local hotel even provide free shuttle service to and from the Hyeholde. It is a wonderful venue and it is a place that my husband and I can go every year to celebrate our anniversary!

Could not have picked a more perfect place to have our ceremony and reception. Jeffrey was amazing and attended to our every need. The day was seamless and perfect. If only we needed to get married again! Would have it at Hyeholde again in a minute!!

The Hyeholde is a perfect location for a day time wedding. It is a classic, simple, elegant venue. Jeff is great to work with. I would highly recommend the Hyeholde to anyone seeking a beautiful location for a ceremony and/or reception.

Absolutely fantastic. The wedding of my dreams. The wedding planner (Jeff) is incredible, too. He should charge just for his planning services, but is included with the package. He knew exactly what he was doing and gave little tips along the way.

The reception was GORGEOUS and although we only had about 60 guests, the room can fit more than 100 comfortably. It's unique and fantastic for photographs. If I could do it all over again, Hyeholde would be my first choice!

We also had the ceremony on their grounds as my husband's family is all from the UK and we didn't want to turn them loose on Pittsburgh's road system. The weather was gorgeous, they had everything I could ever want to book right there available, and everything was taken care of down to me being fed glasses of wine ALL night long.

100% excellent. I loved every second of my wedding day, and the best part is - everyone else did too!

They did a great reception for us - very formal, but also very comfortable at the same time. The food and service was excellent.

We loved everything about the Hyeholde. The atmosphere, the food, the staff. We had our ceremony held on site in their outdoor garden, and it was beautiful. The reception was everything we asked for. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone who attended had a great time and remarked on the friendlyness of the staff. We wouldn't have had it any other way, Hyehold all the way!!!

We love the Hyeholde, personally and professionally. As florists, we have designed florals for many weddings held there. The staff has always been pleasant to work with As a customer, we have celebrated several special occasions there..very recently our 23rd anniversary. This is a dining experience with amazing food.

The Hyehold is a unique and lovely location. It's like a bit of 16th century England in the heart of Western PA. Chef Jim Brinkman and his crew provide a fantastic dining experience and the event staff ensures you'll have a wonderful, stress-free day.
