I got the engraveable photo "guest book" that guests sign.
What a great thing!

Purchased their signing tray; it is gorgeous and was a huge hit at our wedding. Very unique and an instant family heirloom.

This is our "guestbook" picture frame. We got the "smaller than smallest" guestbook frame and opted for 8x8 frame, which was a lot cheaper and and perfect for our small wedding. It worked out pretty well on our wedding day, and many people signed.

We bought the engravable picture frame "guest book." We bought the frame that said 170 people could sign since we had 150 guests at our wedding. There was definitely not enough room for everyone to sign, so we missed a lot of guests signatures. Make sure if you purchase this item that it is placed in really good lighting. Ours was in some dim light, and several people signed over other peoples' engravings. But it is beautiful.

We saw the engravable signature mat photo frame at a bridal show and fell in love with it. We ordered it online and were able to customize it with our names and wedding date. After placing the order I got a very nice email from the company stating that the shipping was less than they expected, so they were refunding the difference. Most places don't bother to email you for things like that; I was impressed. The framed mat itself is gorgeous and all our guests raved about how unique and special it was. It was obviously more expensive than a guest book, but it is also something we can display and enjoy. I think this is my favorite purchase out of all my wedding paraphernalia!

The "New" Guestbook: Your guests will sign with our easy-to-use included diamond tip Signature Engraving Scribe. It's better than a paper guest book. It lasts forever! All of our signature mats and platters can be personalized with engraving, logos, and symbols.
When planning our own wedding nearly eight years ago, we searched for a non-traditional guest book that we could display in our new home. At the time we could not locate anything that was permanent. After our wedding we continued to search and test products and were able to design a diamond engraving pen to the perfect pewter tray. With over 12 years in the bridal business industry, we realized that we had a unique concept and founded "I Do" Engravables in Atlanta, Georgia. We continue to develop unique, high quality, engravable products for our customers.
Today, our company carries many styles of pewter trays as well as our popular Engravable Signature Mat™ - Patent Pending. Perfect for any occasion. Weddings, Anniversaries, Retirements, Birthdays, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Corporate Events,

FAQ for "I Do" Engravables
A: No. Use the pen just as you would a normal ball point ink pen. Only normal pressure is required. It is quite easy to use and guests will find that they are able to sign in the same quality as they would normally with a ink pen. Click here for instructions on using the engraving pen. Our pens are not mechanical and have a specially designed tip that inscribes into the metal when writing. There is no sound made from the pen when engraving. The pen will last through the signing and does not easily wear out.
Q: How many signatures can I get on the platter?
A: Depending upon the size of the platter, our larger platters can hold over 150+ signatures. Please keep in mind that typically only one person from each couple that attends your event will sign your "guest book".
Q: Will the signatures rub off?
A: No, once signed the signatures of your guests are permanent and will never fade.
Q: Can the back of the platter be used for signing or engraving?
A: No, the back of the platter is not polished like the front and is not intended for signing.
Q: Can you suggest what we should engrave?
A: There are many suggestions we have listed on our "engraving" page. The most popular choice for weddings are the names of the bride and groom with the wedding date centered below. The bride's name traditionally goes first.
Q: Can I have my name engraved on the tray?
A: Yes. We offer name and wedding date engraving to make this keepsake even more special. We have many fonts to choose from and can engrave most true-type fonts that you provide. Please visit the "engraving" section of our web site for more information.
Q: Will engraving slow my order or prevent it from being rushed?
A: No. Our in-house professional engravers will engrave your order at the same time it is being prepared to ship. Engraving never slows your order from being processed or rush shipped.
Q: Will the engraving be lost among the guest signatures?
A: No. Our engraving machine will produce a slightly wider and deeper engraving that will stand out quite well among the guest signatures.
Q: How do I care for the platter?
A: We include with every guest book platter a Micro fiber polishing cloth. The trays are pewter and will not tarnish. Pewter does not require the maintenance of traditional silver trays. Click here for more info on caring for your platter.
Q: Does Pewter contain lead?
A: No. Modern day pewter does not contain lead. These properties allow pewter to produce the brilliant shine of fine silver without the cost and care associated with silver pieces.
Q: What is included with my order?
A: Each engravable guest book order receives our Signature Engraving Scribe, a large Micro fiber polishing cloth, a 5 x7 guest instruction card for the guest book table (pen use instructions). All you need to bring is a 5 x 7 frame to put the guest instruction card in at the event.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Orders typically take 5 business days to ship. All orders are shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise indicated. For rush orders please contact us. Adding engraving to your order will not increase the production time.
Q: Do you ship outside the United States?
A: YES! Please see our shipping page for more details

Use this guestbook as you would with any other type of "traditional" guestbook. Have a specific table set up for the guestbook with a guestbook attendant. Have that person instruct guests to sign the mat just as if they were using a regular ink pen...only apply slightly more pressure. Make sure that the mat is laying flat on the table initially and then after it is finished being signed it can be propped up on an easel for display. Make sure that no one "walks off" with the pen. YOu may want to order an additional scribe just incase...
