I Thee Wed Bridal

I purchased my wedding gown from I Thee Wed Bridal Shop and was so happy when I put it on. My dress was gorgeous and still came at a reasonable price! Everyone who works at I Thee Wed is very friendly and made my mom and I feel at home!

After trying on many, many wedding dresses in the Washington D.C. area, I drove to Fredericksburg, VA to I Thee Wed Bridal. It was the perfect store for me. There were many options of dresses and they didn't look like the cookie cutter dresses I had seen in the other stores. The staff at the store is down to earth and friendly and willing to help out however necessary. They even helped me find a seamstress in the area to hem the dress and put in a bustle. I will visit this store any time I need a formal dress for an occasion.

Excellent service! My mom and I went in to look for wedding dresses and were met by Ms. Kim. We were allowed to pick dresses at our leisure, try on as many as we desired, call her for help if needed, and take our time. We loved it! She asked what specifically we were looking for and though she didn't have the dress we were searching for, she brought several over during our time at the shop. I tried on every dress, thought I found "the one" and then tried on Ms. Kim selected. It was amazing. Ms. Kim walked over, saw me in it, walked and bought a tiara and a veil and that was it!!!! I found my wedding dress in one day during a 2 hour visit to this shop!! No pressure sales and loads of discount opportunities. The dress was well within my budget and we were even allowed to take pictures! After purchasing the dress, Ms. Kim and I maintained communications and she was instrumental in helping me find an AMAZING chef when our caterer was lost after moving the business to another state. I love her and also Ms. Vikki. I DEFINITELY recommend. I have no complaints. They steamed the dress. A good to know: they don't do alterations here. But they have great recommendations. The dress looked AMAZING. Highly recommend!

I Thee Wed Bridal is perfect! It's a smaller store with very kind and attentive employees. After a bad experience with Davids Bridal, it was SO refreshing in I Thee Wed. They explain their store layout to you and let you run free! If you need any assistance they are right there for you, but other than that they're out of your face, not pushy at all. They have a nice selection and alot of discounts. Off the rack and military included! :) I found my perfect dress there with no hassle! Great store!

I would recommend that anyone in the DC area searching for a dress go to I Thee Wed Bridal in Fredericksburg, VA. Kim was exceptional and I would go back to her again and again. She provided invaluable assistance in obtaining my dress and the flower girl dresses. She is a wonderful lady! And the dress prices cannot be beat. She got my dress for $400 less than another bridal shop in Northern VA. I can only rave about her!

We purchased all the bridesmaid's dresses at I Thee Wed, and it was a great experience. The staff was extremely professional and had each girl measured quickly, including a pregnant bridesmaid. The shop also gave a $15 discount to each girl who paid the total cost of her dress up front, which they all appreciated. Wonderful service and the dresses looked great on all my girls!

This is a small shop, but had a large number of dresses inside. They don't have a lot of dresses in different sizes, so you might have to try a few sizes too big or small and then guess what your size would look like on you. this was the one store I went to that gave me full run to pull whatever dresses I wanted and try them on, take pictures, and take my time... however that means the try on dresses are more "worn" and lots of them had spots, stains or makeup on them, so buying off the rack in a hurry would be difficult. There was only one person working so while she was up front helping someone order a tux, my MOH helped me pick dresses and try them on. Prices were much higher here than larger/chain stores, but you could probably find something unique if you didn't mind paying more.

Picking out my dress at I Thee Wed was a great experience. The first dress I tried on was actually the one that I selected and I got so many compliments on it. The price was great as well. They don't do the alterations there but recommended a great tailor. The staff at I Thee Wed was friendly, not overbearing, and very helpful. I loved my dress!

The staff at I Thee Wed was always very friendly and helpful. We used them to order tuxedos via Jim's Formal Wear. Unfortunately they let the groom leave the store without trying on his entire outfit three days before the wedding, and we had some last minute stress over that when they couldn't fix it correctly for us. In the end we had to pick up the correct size for the groom somewhere else the evening before the wedding. I don't know whose fault it was, but it wasn't the kind of glitch you like to have for the groom the day before his big day.

I ordered a bridesmaid dress through I Thee Wed. They were really nice and did a great job helping us. My only complaint was that they don't do alterations there..it's kind of inconvenient. Had I known that, I may have looked for another store that did on site alterations.

I Thee Wed is a nice place to look around for a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I do feel their dresses are a little dated, but the prices on some of them are great!
My one bridemaid ordered her dress from there and it come in just fine, but when she went to try it on it wasn't the fit that she expected. She based the size on the fit of the sample dress and her dress was just way off. She took it into the store and showed how it didn't fit compared to the sample. The store then told her they would pay for her dress to be let out. I thought that was a great middle ground. They did also offer to order it again, but I was worried about it being a different thread count than the rest of the out of state bridesmaid dresses!
Overall it was a good experience. I didn't end up ordered my wedding dress from there, but it was a nice place to shop around. Good sample size ranges on the wedding dresses, not so much the bridesmaid dresses.

I got my wedding dress here and the bridesmaid dresses. The staff here is wonderful and so friendly! They are more concerned with you being satisified than selling stuff. I had been to several bridal stores, including but not limited to David's Bridal. At every store I took in photos of dresses I had found on the internet and magazines. I was very interested in several styles by designer Alfred Angelo. I was getting tired of chasing his designs around with no one having them, so went to the Alfred Angelo website. I Thee Wed was listed as an authorized store, so I called and gave them the style numbers I was really interested in trying. Kim went thru all of the style numbers and told me not only if they had them, but the sizes they had them in. When I went in, she remembered and pulled every one of them for me to try! There was no high pressure tactics like at David's Bridal...they pulled the dresses for me, put them in the dressing room(s) and left me alone unless I needed help!

They have everything, invitations, garters, jewelry, shoes, vendors for flowers, catering, and limo services. They're prices are affordable too.

I had my dress and my bridesmaids dresses steamed for the ceremony. They did a wonderful job!

I Thee Wed worked with me to get me the dress that I wanted. It was a dress that I had found online and was trying to track down a store that carried the designer. It turned out that they could order from the designer but did not carry it in the store. After searching through back catalogs (the dress was a few seasons old) we found it and they were able to order it for me. This was probably one of the easiest wedding transactions that I made. The price of the dress was less than I had thought it would be, too.

When I first went in, I was just trying on gowns and didn't expect to find the one. I appreciated the fact that they let me look on my own. I always hated the way the salespeople at David's bridal and similar places are up your behind the whole time you're in the store, so I was really relieved to be able to just shop without a shadow pressuring me to buy. Then, when I did try on THE dress and needed help, they were quick to come to my aid. I didn't have any problems with them during the ordering process, etc., and we also got our bridesmaid dresses there. They, I felt, were a little on the expensive side. but I suppose that's the maker's problem, not the seller. I Thee Wed is a small operation, though, and some days were not open when they should have been, no one answering the phone, etc. That tends to make one nervous after they've paid for a thousand dollar dress in full and haven't yet picked it up. We've all heard horror stories about dress shops closing down and just leaving, without delivering people's dresses. There was a 254-hour-period during which I worried that this had happened to me, but it hadn't. Just be aware that sometimes they are not easy to get a hold of.

I want to first say that I loved my dress but this is how I feel about the place. The first time I came in the sales lady that helped me was very nice and helpful carrying dresses for me but she did not help us with recommendations on styles best for me or even about fitting the dresses to me. You know..what a bride gets at like David's Bridal. I found my dress almost a year before my wedding which they had no problem letting me keep my dress there until then and I even was about to make small payments up to my wedding day which was so helpful. But the shop up and move locations without telling me. So when I went to make a payment one day i could not find them. I had to have my mother call around until we found them. Then when I went to try on my dress they could not find it. They had to look in storage or something. They had me looking at other dresses while I was waiting. Not a good sign. But they found it and when I tried it on the bussell was still not repaired and they no longer provided alterations. My mother made them send off my dress for repair and I didn't get to see my dress again until the day before my wedding. Pretty stressful for a bride. LOL
