Icing On The Top

Icing on Top was great to work with. From the tasting to our wedding day, they were one vendor I didn't have to worry about. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we decided to do cupcakes in a variety of flavors for guests to choose from. They were a hit! I would definitely recommend them as they were easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. I will use them again for sure.

I would not use Icing on the top ever again. We chose a design for my wedding cake and it showed up COMPLETELY different. And when I complained she said she couldn't do the design I chose right, so she decided to change my design without even informing or asking me. And just delivered it to my wedding expecting me to be okay with it. When i gave her the picture she said it would be no problem to do. I dont understand how someone can do that to someone especially on their wedding day! In any kind of business that would not be okay. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am very disappointed in this company, and how they value their customers. If she would have contacted me saying she couldn't do it, I would have picked someone else. Especially when she had my design for 4 months before the wedding!

I had a great experience with Icing on the Top. I showed them a photo of what I wanted and was amazed by how exact our cake looked compared to the photo. It was amazing! We went with red velvet and received several compliments. I will definitely recommend Icing on the Top!!

Yummy cake, yummy cake, yummy cake!! Can't say this enough! Also, they followed my design to a T and I can't believe how beautiful the cakes were. We had an idea for the grooms cake to draw our proposal for the decoration on the cake. The artist that drew our picture did such an amazing job!! I wish I could post a picture.... I would recommend these wonderful ladies to everyone. And they had us a really cute honeymoon cake and a very sweet card waiting in our hotel room for us that night. So sweet and thoughtful!!

Me and my husband (fiance at the time) set up an appointment to taste test and see our options. The lady who helped us was professional and organized. They gave each of us a plate (blue plate for the guy and a pink plate for the girl, pretty cute). While they were preparing our samples, she had us look through different designs of cakes/cupcakes on their ipad. In addition, you could walk around their cute store and look at cake designs that were already set up on displays.

We sampled anywhere from chocolate to raspberry. She took down notes and details of our design and explained what everything entailed. They delivered our cupcakes on our wedding day exactly when they told us and had everything set up beautifully as planned. We loved the taste, texture, and looks of our choice and appreciated how efficient Icing on the Top was. I highly recommend them for a wedding or any event!

Great quality all around.

I was VERY happy with how my cake turned out. I took several photos in of all the different ideas that I had, and they combined them all together and made the cake exactly how I wanted it. It looked amazing and tasted great.

I was very impressed with Icing on the Top. I really thought Erin went out of the way to make sure everything ran smoothly. There was a chance of bad weather and she called me to give me her cell phone number in case I had any concerns or questions the day of the wedding about how they will still deliver with bad weather.

I thought I knew what I wanted my cake to look like but I could never have imagined such a beautiful cake on my own! It turned out better than I could have imagined and I am still hearing guests talk about how delicious it was! They were always very willing to work with me and they were always professional as well as incredibly friendly! Would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat!

I want to thank Erin and everybody else from Icing on the Top. I made my order over the phone from Texas. They did exactly what we asked for, the design was identical. The cake was delicious, fresh, moist and appealing.

Delicious cake! Received so many compliments on how delicious the cake was. It didn't quite look the way I envisioned but it was beautiful and so tasty. So excited to eat the top tier next year on our anniversary!

At first, Icing on the Top was difficult to get in contact with (that was the only problem). The made our awesome Groom cake. We had seen a picture of a 3-D tiered cake that we wanted and they were able to make the cake exactly like the picture. We heard that the chocolate cake was so good! We got so many compliments on this cake!

Best wedding cake, ever! My husband and I took our “cake searching” very seriously from day 1, as we wanted something a little unusual. A traditional, simple, elegant wedding cake on the outside, with fun and crazy TIE DYE on the inside! Not only did Icing on the Top gladly take this challenge (when they had never seen or done it before), they were the ONLY people willing to take the chance. The cake turned out more beautiful than we could have hoped for; and I will say it was the most delicious cake I had ever eaten in my life (that’s saying a lot, as cake is something I am very judgmental about). Our guests raved about the unique inside of the cake, and were so happy that not only did it look amazing, but also tasted delicious. My husband’s groom’s cake was just as great. They were so helpful and thoughtful, as the details of his “St. Louis Cardinal” cake were so important to him. They allowed him to come in a handful of times to help design the finishing touches and he was just giddy with excitement about it. The staff were always prepared and on time, and delivered and assembled the cake to our venue with no problems. Thank you to the Icing on the Top team for making our wedding day that much more perfect!

Icing on the Top delivered beautiful and yummy cupcakes the day of our wedding. They were executed exactly as we discussed. They were proactive in their communication with us. They were a vendor we never had to worry about. Total pros!

We had a great experience with Icing on the Top! Our tasting appt went well, I was very impressed. She was very helpful in assisting us with picking out the design and size. We were able to choose a different flavor and filling for each layer at no additional cost. She was great about calling to remind me to drop of my topper and decor, I totally forgot. I love that they give you a free "honeymooners" cake with your choice of flavoring. We saved that for our 1 year anniversary cake and were able to serve our entire cake to our guests, saving us a good chunk of money. Our cake was beautiful and tasted great! I'd highly recommend them!

Icing on the top provided my wedding cake at the Dresser mansion. The person I worked with directly was very professional & helpful & made every effort to make my cake exactly how I wanted it. The lady that delivered & assembled the cake at the mansion was not very friendly though. The taste & moisture of the cakes & cupcakes was outstanding but the overall appearance of my cake was slightly disappointing. My cake had silver beads on it & many of the beads were covered in icing. We had to turn the cake around to get a space for pictures that didn't show the beads covered in icing.

Wow! First of all...every guest who commented on the cupcakes/cake said they were fantastic. We were probably high maintenance for the staff, but they emphasized that we should be happy. We did a vintage theme wedding with cupcakes with lace around the papers. They couldn't find ivory lace, so they dyed white lace. (Above and beyond in my book) They came early to make sure they had plenty of set up time. They made the exact "i do" signs my daughter gave them a picture of and all our guests were amazed that they were edible (fondate) We had seven cupcake flavors with fillings and two additional flavors on the two tier cutting cake. So very happy we used Icing on the Top. It was one of my favorite things about the wedding, the tiered cupcake display and cake were so unique from anything I have ever seen at another wedding. Bravo, Icing on the Top.

When we went in they had awesome sculptures of animals and other things. We ordered a wolf and when it got to our wedding the guest had different guesses about what it was. It personally looked like a log to me. When i contacted them to let them know we were disappointed they simply said they thought they had done a wonderful job. They are very expensive and not worth it.

Icing on the Top is by far the best cake design company in Tulsa! We used them for my sister's wedding cake and for mine this past month and the cakes were gorgeous! They listen to their customers and deliver exactly what you envision for your perfect wedding cake. They have extreme attention to detail and deliver amazing artwork.

Our appointment went perfectly. I provided photos of what I wanted as they were specialty cakes. We had a wedding cake and a grooms cake. They were both quirky and beautiful which is what I wanted. The quality and taste of the cakes were moist and delicious. Beautiful.

My cake was beautiful and delicious!!! I took them a picture of what I wanted, And that's exactly what they did! They were cheaper than several bakeries around town for the size of cake I needed! They also included a "honeymoon cake" so we could have some since we were too busy at the wedding! Go and do their cake tasting, and you'll be hooked!- Promise!!!!

I used Icing on the Top because my friend used them for her wedding and I accompanied her on several of her appointments and loved the service, prices and quality of their cakes. The owner used to take all appointments for bridal cakes. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience. They still produced beautiful delicious cakes for our wedding but our service was not the best. We met with their new wedding coordinator well in advance of our wedding and everything started out great. We had a tasting and then they sent a tasting kit home with us so we could try the other flavors they offered. So we decided on what we wanted, told them and didn't think about it for months. When it came time to pay our balance, I wanted to change the design of my cake. I contacted them 2 months before my wedding date and we played phone tag for a month and still never met up. I don't think they understood I wanted to change the design of my cake which was why I was so desperate to meet with them in person and pay my final balance. When we finally did get on the phone and went over details, they had all of our cake and filling flavors wrong. Finally I was able to go in and straighten everything out and pay our remaining balance but by that time it was two weeks before the weekend and I was stressed out. Loved the cakes, but they need to figure out the service end and make it like it used to be.

All I can say is that Icing on the Top is probably the best in town! We had cup cakes and a 6 inch which was the bride and groom's cake. Everything was just the way it was supposed to be!

I had a three tiered chocolate cake, nothing fancy with simply chocolate frosting and some colored dotes around the edge (as the florist did the rest). With this in mind, I thought they were a little pricey for what I was asking for, but I really liked the samples I tasted so I figured the flavor would make up for the cost. Unfortunately, the chocolate cake was dry ( and several of my guests even pointed this out to me!), but I did have a marble layer and I was told this part was moist and good. They were great to work with a sample with, but in the long run, I probably could have had better quality!

This was like, the best vendor I worked with. All staff I talked to were great, super nice and helpful, cake turned out beautifully and tasted amazing! And they were so affordable too. Definitely use Icing on the Top!!!

From the cake tasting to the final wedding cake everyone at Icing On The Top was great to work with! The cake was delicious and exactly what I was envisioning. They are even making me a anniversary cake with the same design as my wedding cake, so awesome!

I was very pleased with my wedding cakes and apparently so was everyone at the wedding because we didn't have any left! The cakes were beautiful but also tasted amazing! The bridal cake was a 4 tier round cake alternating between spice cake and italian cream both with cream cheese filling - delicious!! The groom actually had three individual cakes - chocolate with peanut butter filling and chocolate with raspberry filling. I didn't get to taste those because they went fast!! Icing on the Top was so wonderful to work with! The tasting was great fun and even though I just made up what I wanted all the cakes to look like, they captured each one perfectly! I was so very pleased with the final product!

I loved my wedding cake! & I actually do not like cake. I ordered a 4 tier wedding cake and a groom's cake.

Perfect wedding cake! Everyone keeps telling us how delicious it was! The Mayo had extra slices in our honeymoon suite and I was so glad to get to have some because it was great! It came out exactly like the photo I had shown them during our meeting. It was stunning and very very tasty! I am so glad that I chose Icing on the Top. They were super helpful and responsive to emails. They have great flavor options and the cake tasting was a blast! I highly recommend this vendor!

The Staff at Icing on the Top were very professional and listened to all my needs. I must say my cake fondant decor was not as polished as I had hoped or like some of the pictures in their cake gallery. I felt for $600+ I would have had no complaints at all when it came to the skill. But I did get a grooms cake also. The taste and selections were great.

Overall I would recommend. The cake was very good - particularly the strawberry with bavarian and red velvet with cream cheese.

Icing on the Top did an excellent job! The staff was just so kind and helpful in every aspect. The wedding cake for my daughter's wedding was just what she wanted and oh my gosh, it was sooo good! The best wedding cake I have ever tasted. They also did the groom's cupcake tower and what I hit it was with the OU golf ball theme.

I was actually sad that I went to Icing on the Top for my first cake tasting experience, because I loved them, I booked them, and I didn’t need to taste any more cakes! My wedding cake was not only absolutely beautiful, but it was also delicious! I love cake and I love baking and so I had pretty high standards about my wedding cake. Icing on the Top exceeded all my expectations. Jennifer Jones was absolutely great to work with and I loved supporting one of Tulsa’s small businesses.

Jennifer made us a beautiful cake that tasted WONDERFUL!!! Everyone commented on how great it tasted! Don't let their little shop and the fact that they dont really advertise scare you away. They are sooooo good that word of mouth is really all this little shop needs!

Our guests told us our cake was not only beautiful, but the best they ever tasted at a wedding! Jennifer Jones is so extremely talented and passionate about what she does. I went to her wanting a unique design and not something from a sample books. She did not even flinch and helped us design the cake of our dreams! I would recommend Icing on the Top to any bride, and I even use them for all of my friends' baby showers now. Their cakes taste that good!

They are hard to find, but they know what they are doing. We had our tasting and it was very fun and informational. They have a formula they use to estimate the number of pieces per person attending and they were spot on, we had just enough left over. The cake was just what we wanted, beautiful and delicious!

I couldnt say better things about this vendor! The cake was BEAUTIFUL and she really wanted to detail it in any way that I wanted it to see that I thought it was perfect. My wedding was on a Sunday (which they were closed) but the owner said she would deliver and set up the cake for me anyway! They were so nice with the many changes I had made throughout the whole process ( I can never make up my mind) and they even helped put flowers on the cake when setting up!

My sister got married a few months after me and she used a different vendor and people that were at both of the weddings all said that our cakes tasted much better.

Jennifer is very creative and is willing to help you create the best design for your personality. She also included a small "honeymoon cake" for my husband and I to enjoy later. It was great! She also helped me create the best groom/cookie cake ever! I would recommend Icing on the Top to anyone who needs a cake for a special event. Jennifer was incredibly wonderful!!! Her cakes are amazing (and the best I've EVER tasted) and she was very professional, caring and listened to exactly what you wanted. Most wedding cakes that look professional and artsy don't taste very good, but hers were wonderful! I didn't want the run-of-the-mill white cake with raspberry filling, etc, etc. But when I found Icing on the Top online and went through her galleries, I just HAD to check her out, and I'm really glad I did. One of my friends loved my cake so much that she went and had Jennifer do the cake for her wedding that was 4 months later! I couldn't praise her enough, I just couldn't.

If I could give more than 5 stares, I would!! She bent over backwards to accomadate us, meeting us on days they weren't actually open because we lived out of town. She was a amazing. My cake was beautiful and tasted awesome. Even when we ate our anniversary cake one year later it was still amazing. I recomend her for every occassion!!!
