When I came in with my appointment, everything was perfect from the get-go. I was looking for something simple for a beach wedding [still in the process of picking a venue]. My mother, bridesmaids and myself picked out three dresses to try on. My stylist, Jessica, picked one choice that I wouldn't usually pick. I tried on my three with no success. When I put hers on, my face lit up and I knew that was the dress! I was measured and ordered my dress. Jessica was exceptionally helpful, as were all the girls. The next day my fiance and family decided that we might have our wedding in San Antonio, so I called to put my dress on hold [barefoot vs. heels] and they were extremely accommodating. I came in three days later without an appointment to pick a pair of heels. The lady helped me with no problems, I was re-measured, and my dress was ordered. Would recommend their store to any future bride! [[Will update once my dress comes in and the alterations begin]]
I found my dress at Impression in the Galleria after appointments at 4 other places. The appointment got off to a very little rocky start at first when I was explaining what type of dress I was looking for. Being directed to the floor to show my consultant what I was seeking helped clarify and soon I was trying on dresses. However, the second dress I tried on was the one I fell in love with. I kept trying on the others with that one as the one to beat and finally came back to it. The issue was that it was not quite the shape I had in mind and it had a huge train. Grant picked up the ball and showed me how the train could be bustled and how the dress could be altered a little here and their to make this drop waist ball gown, more fitted! It was then perfect! I am not a cryer but when Grant asked me if this was the dress, not only did i burst into tears so did everyone else! They way the staff worked with me and my group was fabulous, they listened and I found the perfect dress!
I will update the review when the dress comes in and after alterations and fittings!
Awful experience! The blonde manager was rude. My young salesperson was wonderful. Rhino was her name ,shame she was spoken to like a child. Went to David's Bridal . She needs to work there and she would be appreciated like I was .
I had a bad experience with David's Bridal right before I came to Impressions. I was not in a very good mood and I expected this to be just as bad. However, Impressions went above and beyond. They were busy when I came in but they still took the time to greet me and see me that day. The person who did my appointment, Melissa, was absolutely amazing! She made me feel good and would work with me even though I was unsure exactly what I wanted in a dress. She gave me her honest opinion and helped me find what was me. I honestly did not think I would find my dress so quickly. She found one that was perfect for my body type and had the qualities I wanted in a dress. My family and I ended up in tears, we were so happy. I did not think I would have that reaction but I did. I ended up buying the dress. I have not recieved it, so once I go through that process I will have to give a review on that, but overall I was amazed and super happy with their service. I feel like I cannot thank them enough. They made me feel special and they worked with me. They were kind and made me feel important. I would definetely recommend them to anyone!
I came to Impression Bridal after a terrible experience with Davids Bridal(the customer service there is horrible and incomparable to Impression)
I did not have an appointment, but the girl at the front desk was still very helpful, allowed me to look around and took a few moments to find me a stylist. She introduced me to Noelle and I immediatly knew i was in good hands. Noelle was very attentive and knowledgable (which made me feel super comfortable with her.) She listened, did not seem at all pushy and was more worried about finding me a dress that I truly loved and not just trying to make a sale. I was not planning on actually purchasing a dress the day that I went in but because of the great customer service and experience she provided me with, i couldnt say no...I also knew that i wouldnt be able to go anywhere else, find an amazing dress like the one that i found and walk away feeling this great about the experience i had while there. I would recommend Impression to ANY bride! They truly care about the bride and her vision and make it a point to make you feel that way!
I'm giving the Impression Bridal store near the Houston Galleria a glowing review, but that is in large part due to Tauni Fenton, one of the higher-ups who happened to be in the store the day my mom and I first came in and who worked with us throughout the whole planning process. My dress was a mermaid style gown, absolutely beautiful, and best of all it was priced very reasonably - $1100, not including alterations. Seriously, this dress was amazing, and so much better than some of the $2000+ dresses I saw at other stores. Anyway, I think we were very lucky to have been in when Tauni was there because her service was OUTSTANDING. To be honest, at least one of the other staff members we worked with (the manager) was not the most competent fellow (he didn't really solve problems very well, and he seemed to care more about my mom's fashionable handbag than our alterations), but Tauni has no patience for incompetence and her service is probably some of the best we have ever received. She made sure she was at every alteration, made sure the seamstress made our dresses as perfect as they could be, and even gave us both a complimentary premium press.
With regards to the alterations, admittedly the seamstress, Lynn, did a terrific job (especially on my mom's dress, which needed a total upheaval), but she can be very tricky to work with. I kept insisting that the bust of my gown be taken in because it made me look like I had an artificially large chest, and she kept protesting, pretty much implying that no bride wants to look flat-chested on her wedding day. Her behavior was pretty ridiculous and I called her out on it, but the best part was Tauni, who was always our advocate and always made sure we were happy and comfortable. And in the end, the bust was taken in as I wanted.
So - my dress was beautiful, the alterations were extremely clean and professionally done (although the seamstress has no customer service skills), and Tauni's service was top-notch!
Karina and the Impression Bridal staff were absolutely a dream come true! When I visited the store after I purchased the dress, most consultants greeted me by name and were extremely courteous and helpful! Karina my consultant made the process of choosing stress free. I had always dreamed of going to Kleinfeld to buy my wedding dress, but there with Impression Bridal you receive the same experience if not better!
By far the WORST PLACE TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! stay away if you dont want to go through alot of trouble!!!!!! Once they get your money, they are RUDE and could care less about you!!! wedding planning is hard already, you dont need this extra STRESS on you!!!! let me share to everyone what had happened to us!!! my sis wedding is in November and our main priority was to get the dress first!! so back in May, we went dress shopping and found a dress we liked there. We ordered it right away so that there is ample time to make alterations on it so that it would fit. In July, they called us to see if we wanted to order the dress. we were surprised and frustrated that it was NOT ORDERED YET!!!! we paid money for the dress already and thought they would order it but they didnt. After having a long and RUDE conversation with the manager there, the dress was ordered!! After the dress came in, we came in for a fitting. We made an appointment and they said we didn’t. We were not happy but luckily the seamstress was available to do a fitting. There were straps on the dress that we didn’t like, so we ask them if they could take it out for us and also add a bustle. They said yes so we left. One of the ladies there name Debbie was nice and tried to help us as best as possible (making sure everything came and called us when it came so we can pick it up). She was basically the ONLY ONE THAT WAS NICE!!!! When they called again to get the dress picked up, the straps were out but now there is TWO HOLES where the straps were!!! We told them that this does not look good!!! Guess what one of the OWNERS said!!! They said “ive worked here for 6 years and never saw straps on this dress!!!” We were SHOCKED AND FURIOUS!!!! WHY WOULD WE MAKE THIS UP!!!! After some going back and forth, one of the ladies went to get the exact sample dress on the floor and what do you know, THERE ARE STRAPS!!!! She apologized but the damage is already done! The wedding is over now but let me tell you, the bustle t
We went to impressions to order bridesmaids dresses and a mother of the bride dress for me. My daughter got her wedding dress elsewhere in half the time it took Impressions to get our dresses. We verified by phone that they were in but when we went to the shop, only my dress was. When I tried it on, the back was 5 inches shorter than the front and off the ground! The dress was almost a size too small. They offered to let it out but there was no hem to let out so they had to remove the tulle underslip which changed the whole appearance of the dress. My $50. dye to match shoes had to be replaced with flats and they charged me for the alterations. I'm out almost $100. bucks and they wouldn't even discount the dress for me. When calling the headquarters, they were very unsympathetic and unhelpful. I'm devastated and with only 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding, I don't have time to get anything else. DON’T BUY FROM IMPRESSION!
I visited this salon recently and, initially, had a great experience. The gal I worked with (Sherrie) was very helpful and knowledgeable. I did find THE dress and was so excited to find one that was a perfect fit right off the rack! Here's where the trouble begins... the dress was their floor model and in need of a few (minor) repairs. I am OK with that. I did some online research to verify I was getting a fair price. NOT EVEN CLOSE! I found over 18 sites to get the dress for around 50% less! Granted some were bogus sites, but at least 5 were genuine. The sales lady got the "Southeast Buyer's Rep" to talk with me about the price. At first, she said she would price match a genuine site. But, when we looked at the sites, she found an issue with all of them and said that every site out there was bogus! She said the best she could do was 15% off....FOR A FLOOR SAMPLE! This is the same deal I could get to order one brand new from them! There was no deal for buying a 6 year old model (although she went back and forth on whether it was 4, 5 or 6 year old design). And, the tag said "no orders" which tells me they can't order more anyway due to the age of the design. This Rep was extremely rude and obnoxious! I can't begin to tell you how many brides-to-be I saw walk in and right back out hearing her very loudly proclaiming she "was going to shutdown these sites right now" and proceeded to "contact" Nick (the "owner" of Impression Bridal) about doing so...right in the front of the store! She acted very angry that sites were out there selling their dresses cheaper. All of this while telling me about trying to buy her special boots that cost over $1000 per pair for less on a "bogus site". She even went so far as to tell me about a law that had been passed to ban stores from selling brands for more than 15% off MSRP due to damaging the brand by selling for less! She told me to look at a pending lawsuit "when I get home" about this issue. Funny thing...when I looked up the article she directed me to, it was the store suing the designer for trying to force price fixing, interfering with free market laws and the ability of a store to clear inventory or even have a sale to boost business in a very tough economy. Here is the article: http://www.houseofbrides.com/blog/...take a look. Bottom line...I had to give up my dream dress and Impression Bridal Kennesaw, GA lost several sales that day! If you like paying full price for a floor sample with visible damage...go here. If not, save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. I might have even agreed to the price if this Rep had not been so rude!
Lovely staff....wonderful service....great selection...and the most beautiful store I have ever seen!
I have to rate this a perfect score because i cant complain about anything. I look at other bridal stores and coming here was a good decision. The dresses they have for the price they ask was more then good enough for me to get what i wanted, 2 dresses! I got to change during the wedding after my ceremony, and both of the dresses was a hit. Got raves for it and the surpise change took in well. The fitting went great and custom order a lil snug to go along with the dress. Got last min shoes and jewlery all at a great price. Everything was ready when said and handling my bridesmaid was great because they could not all make it at once. It was as lil stress as can be for handling something so important to a bride, what she wears!
I first went to Davids Bridal and they were extremely rude to me, if you arent all dressed up and dont look like you have lots of money in your pocket they brush you off... And by doing so they lost a five thousand dollar sell and Impression Bridals gained it! These ladies are awesome! In fact if I ever need another gown again I will go back to texas just so I can deal with these ladies! They made me feel beautiful and helped me find what I was looking for and so much more. Thank you girls!!
I got my bridesmaids dresses here and they were beautiful! I thought they would have at least given a discount to the girls since there were 6 of them, but nothing. They are pricey, compared to other store as well. BUT they did work with me and was able to change the dress to change colors and fabrics to what I wanted. Overall good place.
I had a great experience buying my dress. The ladies are so nice and helpful. I purchased my dress from the Baybrook mall location and found the perfect dress for me and it was very affordable. I like the personal experience that you receive from them vs buying the dress at one of the big bridal stores.
They ask me what I wanted, and with just one hint the girl brought to me the most perfect and fabulous dress ever! I looked Fantastic!
