Christina and her team were very good to work with. They did a great job with the teaser, but it was later than the contract stated, and my MIL wasn't too happy. I'm very excited to see the full video! I care more about the quality of the video than when it's finished, b/c it's going to last a lifetime and I want it to be great!

It doesn't get any better than the work that this team does. They traveled a long way for our wedding in Charlotte, NC and were right on top of everything. Christina and James make a great team that works well together, and makes it enjoyable to have them around.

In Motion Video Productions did an absolutely fantastic job capturing our special day. Christina and her husband were friendly, professional, and great videographers. They traveled to Tallahassee to shoot our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
Planning from afar (I live in NYC, am from Tallahassee), I relied on email communication with my vendors. Christina was always prompt and thorough with her responses, which was a huge help!
The day of the wedding, Christina stuck with the girls as we were getting ready and her husband went with the guys. Having both of them worked out perfectly, as they were able to record what was happening in both "camps," so to speak. They definitely have an artistic eye, and got some amazing shots that I did not expect. They knew what light worked best, how to make everyone look wonderful, and how to stay out of the way when necessary.
The trailer that they did for the wedding was fantastic - my friends and family cannot stop saying enough good things about it. Their editing skills are fantastic - they are true professionals. I cannot wait to see the finished product! Though I absolutely love my professional wedding pictures, nothing compares with hearing my husband and I recite our vows and laughing over our friends' dance moves.
Overall, I highly recommend In Motion for your videography needs. They have captured our wedding day in spectacular fashion, and I am so fortunate to have found them as a vendor. Thank you guys!

They were able to work with me in everyway and were very attentive to everything that was going on throughout the day. They were discrete duruing that day, yet were able to capture everything that I had asked. They are worth the money that was spent, especially since I was sure that I wasn't going to use a videographer for the wedding. I called them a month before the big day and were able to work with me with such short notice!

I HIGHLY recommend working with Christina & her staff at In Motion Video! The whole planning process was easy, flexibly & professional. 2 weeks before the wedding i wanted to change my timing & add an hour, not a problem at all! Originally we were going to be in 1 location the entire time, but changed the day of the wedding. It wasn't an issue at all. We went to another location to take pictures & they were right there with us!
There are so many things happening the day of your wedding! It's going to be so nice to look back & remember all the things you didn't see and can't remember. I know In Motion wil

In Motion Video Production is a long standing professional business in the Jacksonville community and has a great reputation for producing quality work. The owner, Christina Grimsley, has a full staff that can meet every need. Commercial or weddings, In Motion Video Production handles it all. I've been using In Motion Video Production for my interactive online publications, both in Jacksonville and Tampa. Christina and her crew are truly some of the best video professionals around!
Christina of In Motion is a true professional and a master of her craft. I have worked with Christina on many different projects as Key Makeup Artist and her camera work is superb! Christina is fun to work with and has a great sense of humor but always remains professional and does an amazing job.

FAQ for In Motion Video Productions
*How do we book videography services for our date?
Please contact us to make sure we have your date available, and then we will provide you with a copy of our contract. A completed contract and $250 deposit are required to save your date. We can set up a time to meet in person to go over the contract, or I can answer any questions you may have over the phone. The deposit will go toward your remaining balance, which will be due 1 week before your wedding.
*Do we need to meet with you in person prior to our wedding day?
We would certainly love to meet you in person before your wedding day. However if this is not possible due to location or time restraints, we can take care of everything over the phone and through the mail.
*Our wedding location is outside of Jacksonville, FL, will you travel?
Yes, we would love to work with you and we welcome the opportunity to travel. Travel charges vary based on location, so please contact us so we can work with you to make a custom travel package.
*What happens to our tapes/files after the wedding?
We burn all the edited files onto DVD and place them along with your original tapes into our fire-proof safe. If at any time in the future you would like to purchase your raw footage or additional copies of your DVD, we will have all of your original materials.
*Do you count your travel as part of the time included in our package?
No, we do not count the time it takes us to travel to the first location as part of your package time. Our time starts when we arrive on site where you are getting ready, and runs continuous through the rest of the time included in your package. If you would like to add additional hours to any package, you can do so at our current hourly rate, and this will include 2 camera coverage with 2 videographers.
Our Style:
*I am afraid of feeling overwhelmed on my wedding day- what is your videography style?
Our goal the day of the wedding is simply to be an observer, and to help you re-live your day as though you were there experiencing it and watching it unfold. We will not ask you to speak to the camera (although you are welcome to if you feel comfortable doing so), and we won’t make you pose for certain shots. We just want to document every detail of your day as it happens, without interference.
*What is a cinematic edit?
A Cinematic Edit contains some of the best shots and most memorable moments of your day. Each cinematic edit is different based on the events of your day, it outlines the whole day so you can easily share the best parts of your wedding with family and friends. The average time for a Cinematic edit is 10-15 minutes.
The Wedding Day:
*How long before the ceremony do you usually arrive on site?
Our packages include anywhere from 6-10 hours of coverage, and it is up to you how you would like to use that time. Some couples prefer more pre-ceremony footage, whereas others would like to re-live every second of their reception including their grand exit. The choice is up to you. Typically though we will arrive where you are getting ready about an hour and a half prior to the ceremony, and then our time runs continuous from that point on.
*Where will your cameras be set up at the ceremony?
Every location is different, so we will choose the best position for our cameras when we set up. Generally we place one camera toward the back of the ceremony site, and one camera will be located somewhere toward to front and off to the side. This way we have two different shots to choose from in editing, and we are sure to not miss a thing.
The Editing Process:
*Do I get to choose my own music, or will you pick it for me?
Brides and Grooms are welcome to choose the music they would like included in their video. About 1 week after your wedding we will get in touch with you to ask for some selections.
*What type of music should I pick?
The type of music you choose will determine the mood and editing style of your video. If you want a romantic feel, then slow songs work best. If you like upbeat songs, it will create a more modern feel to your video. Usually a good mix of uptempo and slow songs works best. There are many sections in your final video, and different music works well to change the mood of each section.
*How long will it take to receive our final DVD?
Editing usually takes between2-4 months. If you are married around the holidays the time may be extended a bit. The good news is that we post your highlight video online within 3 weeks of your wedding. This way you already have something to watch and share with friends and family while we complete the final DVD.
The Final DVD:
*How long will our final DVD be?
The final DVD is typically between 1.5-2 hours long. It varies based on the length of time included in your package, and the length of your ceremony and reception.
*What will be on my final DVD?
All of our DVDs come with a fully customized menu. This includes Special Features Menus, and Chapter Menus. Our custom menus allow you to watch your DVD the whole way through, or choose a particular section to jump to. Any highlight videos included in your package will also be included on the Special Features menu on your DVD.
Wedding Videography Tips
Video is an important part of your wedding day, as it captures the sound and emotion of one of the biggest days of your life. Video has become the new way to share your memories, whether it be through DVD, online video sharing, iPods, etc. Below are some tips on understanding Videography and choosing the best vendor for you on your Wedding Day.
Consider the following when choosing your wedding videographer:
o Research –
• Video Samples: Do they have video samples on their website to show you their style and quality of work? Ask them to see a sample of a full wedding on DVD to be sure that they cover everything you are looking for on your wedding day.
• Packages: Are the package details outlined so you understand what you are getting and for what price?
• Quality: Do they shoot in standard definition or high definition?
• Wedding Day: When will your videographers arrive and how long will they stay? How many videographers will be there on your wedding day, and will they all stay the entire time?
• Final Product: What will be the length of your final DVD and will it include all the events of your day?
• Packaging: Will your DVD have a professional look when you receive it? Ask if your video will come with customized labels, cases, and a DVD menu.
o Reputation – Ask other Vendors.
• Remember, reputation is earned not purchased. Make sure to ask any vendor who recommends another vendor if they accept commissions or referral fees. Vendors should always be selected on your needs and who you feel comfortable working with.
• Videography is not only about capturing your wedding day; it is about understanding the video camera, covering all of your events, editing to the style and music you prefer, and most importantly portraying your personality in the final product.
o There are many people that can pick up a video camera and record a wedding. However, that does not mean they have had proper technical training. Ask your videographer if they have a degree or certification in the field of Media Production.
• Don’t be afraid to ask any additional questions you may have. Videographers are glad to answer your questions ranging from technical video questions to general questions about how they can work with you on your wedding day.
