I would highly recommend the infinity and ovation yachts to any Bride to be looking for an absolutely flawless day. Any worries you may have are quickly dissolved by the hard working staff. My day was perfect!

I will recommend Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters to everyone for a wedding venue! They made everything extremely easy for me, and were very easy to work with. They make sure every detail is taken care of.
Food was delicious, and presented so well!
Service was excepional from our wedding coordinator, to the staff on the boat, everyone was great!

My husband and I are truly happy that e selected the Infinity and Ovation Charters for our wedding ceremony and reception venue. All of the work was personally and professional done for us. The vendors were all awesome. They really listened to all of our specific desires and needs. Quite often we see ads in magazines featuring I &O and their vendors...now we know why, our wedding day was simply amazing. On that day, "all I had to do" was show up and be beautiful. I highly recommend Infinity and Ovation Charters to all couples who want to take the nerves and guess work out of planning their special day!

We just had our daughter's wedding on the Ovation and there are not enough words to describe how pleased we are. From the first moment we met Melanie to our final step off the yacht our experience was amazing. The staff that night was exceptional and so helpful. I keep getting calls from our guests on how wonderful and plentiful the food was. Our flowers were from Emerald City and they were just gorgeous. The wedding cake, done by Olga's Creations was a bit unconventional (all made from Hostess cupcakes, Twinkies,Hohos,Snowballs,ect.) everyone loved it.

If you are looking for a unique venue for your special occasion--we would highly recommend the Ovation. You will not be disappointed.

My name is Cadance Perryman and I married my husband Richard Perryman on 7/16/11 on the Ovation Yacht. The first day we met Nicole Jaquinde, we knew we were in good hands. Nicole was our wedding consultant. She is BRILLIANT! She is beautiful, sweet, down to earth, helpful, and she gives great advice.She also makes herself available to help out with any questions or concerns. She explained to us that our wedding day would be a day to remember for all time and for everyone and she was absolutely right. Besides the beautiful yachts, and friendly people, what sold us was that The Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters took care of everything. We did not have to run here and there deciding what to get and how to get it. We informed them of what we wanted- decor, food, music, photography, invitations, etc. and they made it happen. It was a "one-stop-shop" so to speak and we loved it. We can't tell you how much stress they took off of us. They were on top of everything. The people who work here make you feel welcome and comfortable. They go out of their way to accomodate YOU. Many wonderful people helped us, like Cassandra, Micaela, and Jackie- just to name a few. They worked with us step by step, explaining everything. They made our wedding day a dream. The compliments we have received and are still receiving make us feel wonderful. This was my dream wedding! I will talk about the Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters at the drop of a hat. As you can see our experience was amazing and we thank them for that. My husband and I knew our wedding was astounding when family members told us later that we had won "the wedding wars"!

The ceremony/reception package is the only way to go!! It's like one stop shopping at a classy high end store. The price you pay is worth every penny for the convenience and simplicity. Took a lot of stress off my wife. All of my guest totally enjoyed themselves. Most importantly all of our needs where met which made our wedding day all that we anticipated and then some. The staff was exceptional, they took excellent care of my guess with special needs. Bottom line, Infinity/Ovation staff played a major roll in creating a memory that will last a lifetime for us and our guest. Just want to thank you for helping to make this an anniversary that Sue and I will never forget. This was a party that will be hard to top. All of our family & friends were saying what a great time they had.

The food, entertainment and service were great. Robert the DJ was as good as you told me he was. Once he stared playing the music that quit laid back personality disappear and he entertained every one of us.

You guided Tammy and I in the right directions every step of the way to make sure that this anniversary was the best of all times. Sue and I cannot thank you enough. Infinity and Ovation was an absolute pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier with the experience we had.

First, our main point of contact at Infinity and Ovation have was a gem - prompt, attentive, and accommodating. Every time I received a response from her, I felt like I must be their only client!

Next, the entire staff and the vendors themselves were wonderful. I was basically unaware of the staff onboard. Although I'd love to say I made eye contact to thank them more frequently, they were working so seamlessly to move the party along that I hardly noticed any of them! Kelly and Marc were fantastic in particular - I loved the touch of essentially forcing me and the groom to sit and eat. When they mentioned this early on in the planning process, I thought it somewhat unnecessary, but after spending the first 60 minutes mingling non-stop, I appreciated having someone remind me to take a breather and eat; I could've easily breezed through dinner without realizing I missed it!

The vendors were phenomenal. Our contacts at Emerald City were smart, offering suggestions particular to our individual needs, and ultimately achieving beautiful results. Jason Parent (our DJ) was wonderful as well, setting up a personal meeting to discuss our expectations and requests - and making it ultra convenient by meeting us very close to home! Although I didn't work much with the bakery subsequent to the change from the original vendor, the cake was gorgeous, followed our requests to the T, and was absolutely delicious. Suffice it to say, the staff at Infinity and Ovation aren't kidding when they say they pick only the best!

Lastly, regarding the entire Infinity and Ovation group: the experience was flawless. We came to them after a relatively awful experience with trying to plan a destination wedding. Subsequent to working with Infinity and Ovation, the standard wedding drama followed (ah, family...), and it became more valuable by the day that I was able to trust Infinity and Ovation with the logistics and simply handle my own side of things. I've heard fantastic things about the reception already - and granted, people are biased offering opinions to us - but I think it's worth mentioning that my younger brother intends to have his wedding with them as well! In addition, my uncle, a photographer, has photographed and been part of ~900 weddings. He said this was by far the best he's been to - unique, classy, and incredibly fun.

Our thanks to the entire team for their incredible product, impeccable work, and the indescribable experience it created for us on such an important day.

We absolutely had the wedding of our dreams on the Ovation! The entire staff, from Nicole and Kelly, to the servers and bartenders were attentive, polite, and helpful. There was not a moment we did not have a full beverage and they even made sure I had sunscreen on.

Infinity and Ovation only works with the best vendors. Our flowers were over the top, the cake was delicious and the music kept the dance floor full even though it was 97 degrees.

Everyone wants to be unique on their wedding. Having your wedding aboard with the Infinity or Ovation will set your wedding apart from all the others. In fact, one of my friends told me that our wedding was the best she had ever been to...even better than her own!

The venue is something our guests will talk about for years. Food was excellent and the reception service was great. If you want a unique wedding this is a great pick and well worth the cost. Jackie and Captain Mel were great and provided an exceptional experience. My unmarried friends in attendance are now upset because the bar has been set so high. Thanks to GM Steve and all of the staff for giving us such a positive and memorable experience.

I would rate our whole experience a 10 if the scale allowed. Nicole Jaquinde was a dream to work with as our wedding planner. The entire staff were prompt, responsive, and friendly. Every one of our guests thought the whole adventure was amazing! The drinks, food, and service were perfect. To a guest, everyone thought the food was the best ever-at either at a wedding or a restaurant! Marie (our cruise director) made the actual wedding and reception run perfectly. Even on the last cruise of the season, with cool misty weather, the ship was wonderful. We were warm enough and the views were still beautiful.We did a lot of "shopping" before picking the Ovation-Infinity cruise and KNOW there was no other venue that was such a great value!! We are hoping to plan our next family party with them again!

We absolutely could not have asked for anything more from them! Jackie and Nicole are the best! There was no detail too small and it was if they could read my mind. I'm ready to have our 1 year anniversary party there because the night flew by. I've had countless people tell me it's the BEST wedding they've ever been to! Well worth every dollar we spent.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception aboard the Invinity yacht in September. It's January now and we're STILL getting compliments from friends and family about how fantastic the whole day was. Having our wedding abroad the Infinity was the best decision we ever made. All of the vendors were super easy to meet with, and the end result was FAR beyond our expectations.

The crew aboard the Infinity was more than accommodating. They guided me through the day so seamlessly that I was able to enjoy every minute with my guests without having to think about it. And the food... My goodness the food! It was the best meal at a wedding I've ever had, and I'm not just saying that because I picked it out either! It was amazing!

If we could do it all over again, we would without hesitation choose the Infinity as our wedding spot.

Nothing else like it in the metro Detroit area, amazingly helpful staff and best food/drinks anywhere. All of the venders they use are the best in the area.

The entire Infinity team/staff I dealt with were all exceptions, but Kelly Easton I feel, went above and beyond. Phenominal, not sure what more can be said! The service we received was far and above the call of duty (thanks Jackie!) and the event was NOTHING short of spectacular! Our guests were in awe of our event and from talking to many of them we really ruined weddings for them as they doubted anyone could top ours. If you are even remotely considering doing a wedding or event on the boats you can NOT go wrong, the food, the people, the scenery; I&O has it all!

I would absolutely recommend this venue as a place to have a wedding...there is not one thing I would change about our day!!! EVERYONE staffed by Infinity & Ovation Yacht charters were amazing to work with, and they really paid attention to details realizing this was the most important day of our lives. They are very prompt about responding to ANY questions or concerns you might have, and really make the planning easy by giving different packages to choose from. All of their specially selected vendors were equally great to work with, from the flowers, to the cake, to the DJ.....I would definitely do it again, in fact we plan to celebrate our anniversary every year aboard the yacht on one of the yachts many themed events to remind us us how much fun we had!

The staff at Infinity and Ovation were available at all times to help us make our wedding everything we wanted it to be. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, patient, and willing to go above and beyond for us. They were also extremely helpful as we were a busy professional couple with limited and erratic amounts of time to focus on planning, so their help in keeping us on track/focused and selecting high-quality vendors for us was invaluable. We wanted our wedding to be like unlike anything we had seen or been to before and thanks to the staff at Infinity and Ovation we got just that. I also think our event was very affordable given the expert coordination we received and the luxurious and high-quality affair our guests enjoyed. Our guests couldn't say enough about how impressed they were and what a good time they had. Everything was exceptional.

The staff there were simply amazing. Every single, minute detail, they were more than happy to handle. From ceremony music, to simply holding my hand while I was freaking out about something stupid, Jackie Carden (specifically) was fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism provided to me.

We had our wedding reception on the Infinity and it was the best day we could have asked for. From the beginning of the planning process we knew we were in good hands. They were available every time we called and if we had a question, they either already had the answer or they found the answer within a couple days. You can't beat the view... scenic view of Canada and the United States. We can't explain the food. We have NEVER eaten food better than on the Infinity. Every bite was amazing and every plate was picture perfect. Being the bride and groom, we were served at our seats but from what our guests said, they were served quickly and they couldn't stop talking about the food either. We were slightly disappointed that we couldn't get any of the extras they offered because of the cost but honestly, the boat didn't need much else. It was amazing as is. They have overall good companies they have chosen to work with for cake, decorations, ext... I wish we could repeat the day all over again. We plan to have an anniversary party on that boat again some day. I know I've read other peoples opinion on the Charter that stated this, but I feel I must repeat the comment, "there is just not enough words to say how wonderful this company is to work with." We highly recommend just talking to them because once you do, you'll have no doubt they are the ones to work with!!!

Everyone including ourselves thought it was the best wedding reception ever. We are still getting compliments 4 months later. There were only a few small items that were missed or not as planned that kept our evaluation from being a perfect 5 star. Other than that we did not have any regrets of having our wedding reception on the Infinity. The staff and crew on the Infinity were great.

working with Infinity and Ovation team was a great experience. The vendors who they have chosen in the package were easy to work with, know exactly what they are doing for the ships and made our wedding planning so easy for us. They really have the complete package. They made it a very pleasurable experience for both myself and my husband. Not a bad word to say about them, stress free wedding planning does exist.

We had our wedding reception on the infinity yacht in August 2011. We had 91 people on board and there was plenty of room for more. Everything about our reception was absolutely wonderful. It was the best night of my life! Nicole was so nice helping us through all the decisions, especially since me and my husband live in Rhode Island and we did almost all our planning through phone and email.

We chose to have only a few add-ons to the basic reception package: Photos upon boarding, top-shelf bar, and daiquiris and margaritas. We were very happy with our decision to do all of these! The photos make great parting gifts for guests and the staff also took pictures throughout the first couple hours of the reception. They gave us a dvd of all the photos and about 10 prints of some of them.

The food is sooo good! Everyone was complimenting it all night. If you do decide to get an add-on wait until the bridal cruise and see if there is a good deal because we saved a lot of money by getting ours that night.

We had Jason from Pro's DJ service and he was great. He really kept the party going and we have no complaints.

Our florist was Emerald City designs and Alicia was so amazing!! Our flowers were gorgeous and she even emailed us photos of our flowers a few days before to make sure they were what we wanted.

The only downfall is it is a bit pricey, we ended up spending about $23,000 for 91 people on a Friday. It was worth it to us because of the convenience and quality though.

The Ovation was such a fantastic wedding venue. People are still talking about our wedding and how 'unique' the experience was. I really can't think of anything I would have done differently. The entire experience was one we will never forget. The staff was very professional and the food was fantastic. The DJ did a great job with the music as well, although, I think the Michael Jackson was a bit of overkill. One of my favorite parts of the entire evening was going under the Ambassador Bridge while it was all lit up, during our first dance. The bridal suite on the second level was my saving grace. It was very cool (temp wise) and comfortable and gave me plenty of chances for privacy. My family and I are even talking about taking another cruise, on either the Infinity or the Ovation, this summer so we can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride and food and not have to deal with all the craziness that comes with being the guests of honor.

The food is beyond any that you would expect of a wedding, guests are still talking about it today! The other vendors contracted for the wedding package (DJ, photography,florist & cake) were of the best quality and no expense was spared on their part.

The staff was fantastic - the cruise director took care of all aspects, and the cooks even danced with us. The food was excellent, and guests were commenting about it well after the event.

Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters made wedding planning so easy! They picked the best vendors and could customize with them. One guest commented "It was a like a wedding in a box".

I loved my wedding...they made our wedding day perfect!

My husband and I had a destination wedding two weeks prior to our Ovation charter, so this was our "at home" reception, given by my parents. We chose to have it on a Sunday afternoon (as it wasn't our "real" wedding) but we wanted it to be something unique for our guests. This worked out perfectly: the staff and crew were in sync, our guests (200) felt very taken care of, and everyone loved the cruise. As this was technically a second reception (and in the middle of the afternoon), we didn't do the whole dancing thing, but we had a great jazz trio that was an excellent compliment to the venue. I would classify the atmosphere as "upscale laid-back" because that was what we created, but you could easily go very fancy with this venue as well. The food, by the way, was outstanding.

A note on vendors/point people: our jazz trio was the Keith Malinowski Trio, and they were awesome. Emerald City Designs - who is contracted with Infinity and Ovation - did the flowers and they were tremendous. Gorgeous designs and very easy to work with. Jackie was our director, assisted by Kelly, and they are very, very good at their jobs. Melanie was our specialist and very easy to work with.

Slight negative spot: two of our guests had their cars broken into while we were sailing. They did not take advantage of the complimentary valet; I would encourage your guests strongly to do so if you choose to sail. Apparently this has never happened before; the marina and the Infinity/Ovation staff were very quick to respond and attempt to take care of the situation, so kudos to them for that.

Why not 5 stars overall: the break-ins were a mar, and it is on the pricey side. We did love it though!

We had a wonderful time aboard the Ovation! The staff was amazing and very helpful. The experience is indescribable! The views of the city and Ambassador bridge are absolutely breath taking at night.

would love to book them again for another party, the best idea and best crew ever for a wedding.

The infinity and Ovation Yacht (IOY) people were fabulous. While I didn't need to, they said that I could call their cell phone after business hours if I had questions. The day of, everything was taken care of, the extra decorations put out, made sure we ate, and ushered us around to wherever we needed to be on the ship. The only hiccup we had was for the rehearsal, the code for the entrance gate had changed and we weren't told about it, and I had a little trouble getting a hold of someone to get the new code.
While I would do it all over again, this was quite an expensive wedding, and we only had 62 guests. Your food, cake, flowers and DJ/band are all included, but there is a 26% service charge added to everything, even when you add your photographer on (that they recommend), or add additional flower arrangements to the package. But like I said, I would do it all over again because, while expensive, everything was amazing!

The VIP tickets we were given for the Beach Grill were not valid the night of our wedding according to the bar. We had promised a lot of people they could get in without paying cover or waiting in line (because that is what the Ovation had told us). Our wedding was however a holiday weekend so this may not happen but I would be cautious about that.
As for the wedding reception it was a unique experience for all guests! I would recommend using their preferred vendors so they take care of all the coordination. Less headaches and those vendors are used to being on a boat for pictures/dj'ing etc.. Overall it was perfect if you want a "unique" wedding reception!

Make sure to understand all the additional costs associated with using outside vendors before you determine your budget. Also be aware that in bad weather the top level is not available thus you should be flexible with your final count.

I would suggest you make sure every detail is in writing if you create an a la carte event. Do not assume what services you may or may not have based on the total package if you are then paying for everything in a line item fashion. It sounds nit-picky but even have the color of the table clothes documented if that is important to you.

Unlike any other venue in Metro-Detroit, you will simply be amazed at how fun and exciting your wedding will be on the Ovation or Infinity Yacht. Just imagine how great it could be to set sail with your closest friends and family out on the open waters, dancing the night away across the Detroit skyline as the sun sets on the horizon. It is truly a unique and magical place to host a wedding!
