i decided i didnt want to spend too much on my hair or makeup so i called the headmaster of the local beauty school and asked for their top students. after getting the list i went a few weeks in advance and had them do my hair each student a different way that THEY envisioned. after the "test" i chose my favorite and scheduled a few more practice sessions with them and reserved them for the big day. i was able to pay much less than a typical updo price because my hair dresser wasnt licensed yet.
