I actually contacted Katie only 3 or 4 months prior to my wedding. I had a previous planner, but just did not click with her at all...she was way to "by the books" and not understanding what my husband and my visions were for our special day. I called a ton of places, which was difficult to find someone I wanted because I live in Hawaii and got married in California, so I could only go by speaking with someone over the phone. From the first time I spoke with Katie at Intertwined Events, I knew she would be the perfect planner for me. When I met her in person...only a month before my wedding, I was so thrilled she actually had my date open to be our coordinator. She could not have made it more beautiful and made the thoughts in my head that I couldn't really portray to other vendors (such as the florist) to exactly what I wanted my wedding to be...and more! Katie was incredibly genuine, very responsive, flexible with pre planning (especially with the Hawaii-California time difference and my strict work schedule), and truly understood and connected in to what I envisioned. On the day-of, Katie came and knew that I am not good to sticking to a schedule, yet she kept the important things on time (like being to church on time, etc.) and was not like a soldier throughout the reception, but diligently made the night flawless. Due to Katie, the wedding had no bumps! I would definitely recommend Intertwined Events to others! I hope that other brides don't have to go through what I did the first time by choosing a poor coordinator and putting more stress to this already stressful process...just choose Intertwined and make your life easier and your special day seamless!!!

Katie and her team of amazing ladies are an integral part of our amazing wedding. From the very first moment that Katie and I met to the very last minute of the wedding day, everything was top notch. Katie was so responsive to emails (we probably exchanged hundreds if not thousands of emails). she was patient, organized and has great ideas. however, katie does not impose her ideas as the be-all-end-all (unlike a certain very expensive san diego coordinator that I met with who laughed at my $40k budget and claimed that it was his way or the highway) . she was like that wise adviser who is there when you need her. katie gave us great referrals and discounts. she and her team put out fires the day-of. I hired katie and her team for the whole planning process. despite what was in the contract (number of meetings, etc), katie went above and beyond. My husband and I are so happy with our decision to work with her. our wedding was beautiful, everything went smoothly and most importantly, we were STRESS-FREE!

From the moment Katie and I said hi we instantly became friends. I knew my wedding couldn't be complete without the hands of the Intertwined Girls. I worked with Katie for months prior to my wedding trying to pull together my theme. My husband and I met in Elementary school and it was important to me to capture this throughout my wedding tastefully. Katie listened to all my crazy ideas and helped streamline my vision into perfection. The day of my wedding I was absolutely shocked with how amazing everything turned out. The attention to detail, the trust, and the patience she has is astonishing. Her confidants is contagious. Also, her Assistant Lauren was there for me throughout my whole ceremony. She was extrememly professional and was able to handle all the little things so I could focus on the big thing - saying I DO!

Should you ever question who should I go to to insure my vision is mastered then you need to hire Intertwined Events. They will never let you down and they will instantly take you in like family. I look now at my wedding photos thanking Interwined Events so much for pulling it off. I promise you will do the same.

My husband and I could not be happier with our decision to work with Katie and Meghan and Intertwined Events. From start to finish, they both conducted themselves so professionally and were always two steps ahead of the game. They spent so much time down to every detail that made our wedding day absolutely PERFECT. Originally we had planned on an outdoor ceremony and ran into rain issues on the day of. My husband and I were devastated at the idea of having to move it indoors but Katie and Meghan both were so awesome in giving us the best options and when we decided to keep the ceremony outside and just go for it, they were 100% behind us and just as excited. Katie and Intertwined events literally blew our minds. We had a sudden move from Los Angeles to San Francisco in the middle of our planning, meaning that we were forced into planning remotely - as well as both of us getting promotions, leaving little time for wedding planning.

Katie answered every email, saw to every single detail, and on our wedding day we were FLOORED at how beautiful the day turned out. She not only surpassed our expectations, but our wildest dreams for how wonderful our wedding could be.

Not that our wedding is over, I find myself trying to think of projects or things that I can bring Katie into - just because she's become my right hand, and I feel a huge hole now that I don't have any reason to call or email her often.

Katie and Meghan were amazing to work with for planning my wedding. They were so helpful from beginning to end - from helping make place cards to finding me a change of shoes for dancing - they were there every step of the way.

At first, my parents were convinced that we didn't need a day-of planner since our church and reception venue had coordinators but boy... were we wrong. We're so happy we had them to help troubleshoot some of the last minute details that went awry. Intertwined Weddings & Events helped me with the day of my wedding more than I could have ever thought. I originally thought that I could do the whole the thing by myself. However, when the day came, there were so many things that I didn't get a chance to do or remember to do. Luckily, Intertwined Weddings & Events was there to remember everything I forgot and keep track of timing and vendors to make sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be. They handled every single thing that came up with grace. They did this so well that not even my mother-in-law heard about some of the problems that came up until way after they happened. These ladies do it all. From baby showers to high end weddings, they have a keen ability to coordinate talented vendors who fit the clients needs.
