Nancy and Tom from Island Getaways are the BEST. I have booked many Caribbean islands vacations with Nancy and Tom. They are so organized, very knowledgeable and take care of their customers better than any travel agency I have used in the past. Many times I have called them on the weekend, and they are always available to you, they return your emails so quick, and calls too. Just GREAT service you get with Island Getaways. This is why we keep returning to them to book our annual vacations and also have referred friends. Their relationship with Sandals/Beaches resorts makes anyone feel 110% comfortable with them doing the booking, any accommodation request you have they will handle for you ahead of you getting there. Just makes traveling so much easier, especially when little kids are traveling with you. they are the Best!!! "THE BEST"is exactly the kind of service anyone wants when planning a trip!!!! Nancy was great!! She helped us set up our destination wedding at Sandals Montego Bay. She even set us up with a wedding planner at the resort. She helped all of our guests book their rooms and book their flight. If we had any questions she got back to us right away.

I created an account on PW solely to alert other couples that we would not recommend Island Getaways. We booked our trip to Antigua in Sept with Nancy Finn. I thought I had done my research and most of the reviews looked good with a few exceptions. When we first called to inform Nancy that we were looking to book our honeymoon she returned calls immediately. It is very obvious that she gets incentives by Sandals being that I had inquired about several other resorts and was given little info. Nonetheless, we decided to go with Sandals. I was clear on our budget & also informed her that we did not mind doing a cheaper rm pkg since we planned to be outside. Six mos later we were informed by Nancy that the airfare had gone up by $100. Our biggest frustration with IG was the lack of follow-up to questions around our itinerary change. We were given 2 other options when our flight home was cancelled which involved losing a day or paying for a rm in Miami. We understand the unpredictability of airlines but had asked Nancy if there was any way to fly into a different airport or use another airline. This email was sent to Nancy on August 8th. After little willingness to check into this I called Tanya of Funjet who told me Nancy could have/should have contacted the ticketing department to request a change in airlines, which was never done. I did not hear back from her August 24th. Our final frustration with IG occurred the day before our honeymoon. We received a msg from the airline that our flight the next day had been cancelled and rescheduled. We did did not hear from Nancy at all. Oddly, we heard from them same day when we had a question regarding how we could pay our remaining balance. The fact that it took 16 days to get a response is appalling, after we just paid $5000. We would have been better off doing it ourselves. I would not recommend them and would not have spent the time writing this review if we hadn't had such a poor experience with Island Getaways.

Nancy Finn and her team helped us find a great honeymoon destination, provided great suggestions, and lastly helped to secure upgrades that allowed us to have a beautiful room.

Nancy helped plan our beautiful wedding at Sandals Emerald Bay, Bahamas. She recommended a walk-out villa with butler service, which was a wonderful suggestion. The villa was definitely the best location on the property and the butler spoiled us. Nancy's knowledge and suggestions were so helpful for a stress and worry free planning!

I went with Nancy at myIslandgetaways after having a friend of mine recommend her website to me. I am sooooo happy I called her. After listening to me about what I was hoping for in a vacation she gave me several recommendations for where I should spend my honeymoon. After my (now wife) and I made our decision she set our whole trip up for us. She also personally contacted the Sandals resort we were staying at and got our room upgraded for us. Nancy also recommended to us several excursions and restaurants for us to try when we were in St. Lucia. Again, she was spot on with her recommendations. Finally, her staff was always helpful if she was unavailable. I would DEFINITELY go back to myislandgetaways for any other trip I have planned.

I truly do not know what I would have done without Nancy and Tom of Island Getaways! After countless hours of searching for a perfect wedding location for my now husband, about 40 of our closest friends and family, and myself-I realized I was not going to be able to do this alone. Upon first talking to Tom I knew that I had found gold! Tom and Nancy were not only was extremely knowledgeable about the resorts I was looking at, but he was able to put me at ease and assure me that out wedding would be absolutely perfect. Tom and Nancy were available nearly 24/7 for assistance, which was perfect for our crazy schedule! Our wedding was absolutely perfect, our guests had the time of their lives, and we all cannot wait to plan another trip back! Tom and Nancy, you simply are just the best!

Thanks to the insightful recommendations by Nancy Finn we had the wedding of our dreams! She went the extra mile countless times throughout our entire (over a year long) planning process, for the entire wedding group! Just planning a wedding can be so stressful. Add to it coordinating 20 guest’s flights and hotel stays in another country! If it weren’t for Nancy’s diligence and patience we would have been nervous wrecks trying to plan it all. I don’t know how she does it, but she managed to work her magic and make everyone happy.
In our first meeting at Island Getaways we knew we wanted to have the wedding in Jamaica, but we had no idea which resort. The best decision we ever made was to take Nancy’s first suggestion to get married at the Sandal’s Whitehouse with our friends and family, and transfer to Sandal’s Negril for our honeymoon. The resort was even more amazing than in the catalogs, and as you can see in our incredible wedding photos- we all had the time of our lives.

We have used Nancy and Tom at Island Getaways for many trips including our recent Wedding. When you have alot of other stuff to worry about its a must to have all your Travel plans done correctly and not have to worry about all the details of booking a trip. We have been completely happy with all of our bookings and have felt secure in knowing all details are taken care of. We have met other travelers that have made bookings themselves or with other companies that had BAD trips because of screwed up bookings. My wife and I would highly recommend Island Getaways for your future travel needs.

As the groom, I was in charge of the honeymoon. I love to travel so it was the perfect job for me. My wife had found Island Getaways at a bridal show in the Milwaukee area and met Nancy and immediately liked her. Shortly there after I met Nancy after already talking to her on the phone and I couldn't have agreed more with my wife.

Nancy was a pleasure to work with and helped us create a beautiful Saint Lucian honeymoon that met our budget and time frame. We were presented with as many options as we had requested and given the advice we sought quickly. I know there are lots of other beautiful spots to honeymoon, but we had our heart set on the Caribbean and Saint Lucia was the perfect spot for us.

Any future vacations we plan I wouldn't hesitate to work with Nancy and Island Getaways again. Her personal experience with all the resorts she showed us gave us a comfort level that we knew we would be getting exactly what we were hoping for. The bottom line is at no point were we concerned with our choice and now with our honeymoon over we have nothing but beautiful memories to look back on.

We were referred to Nancy by some friends of ours who used her to book their honeymoon. We knew we wanted to go to Jamaica, wanted all-inclusive, and adults only. Nancy was able to help us narrow down our selections, until ultimately we chose Sandals Negril. It was the first time either of us had booked a big trip like this so we were quite nervous. Nancy was thorough and timely in her responses, leaving us feeling like we were in good hands! Our trip was fabulous. Her tips she sent us before our trip really made what we experienced on our honeymoon even better. We will definitely used her again!

Nancy was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is easy to get in touch with (I called her at midnight once and she was available to talk), prompt about returning emails and phone calls, and a wealth of knowledge. She is a Saint Lucia expert and was very helpful with helping us to decide which places to stay at and for how long. She also took care of all of our transfers. Everything went perfect during the honeymoon, so I never needed to contact her, but I’m confident that if there were an issue, she would have handled it right away. She also made sure that if there were any room upgrades available, we would get them. We did in fact get a room upgrade at Jade Mountain, and it happened to be one of the nicest rooms they have! Our honeymoon was relaxing, fun, amazing, and unforgettable. We have Nancy to thank for that. We will definitely use Nancy in the future!

My husband and I booked our resort stay, travel arrangements and our parents' resort stay through My Island Getaways and could not have asked for a better experience!! It was not just a fabulous stay at the Sandals resort, but it included our wedding and honeymoon! Nancy was always responsive, helpful and accommodating to any questions we had in the planning process. She provided dead-on advice regarding the expected service, experience and the island. We would book travel through My Island Getaways again in a heartbeat!

Nancy booked our honeymoon for us at Sandals Emerald Bay. But, "booking our honeymoon" did not just mean setting up the flights and resort reservations (though, she did that fabulously), it also meant giving specific reviews and advice on all the possible resort and island choices, giving recommendations on excursions, and handling any hiccups that come up during a vacation. Simply put, Nancy went FAR above and beyond for us! The resort was just as wonderful as she described. And, when we had a small room hiccup at the beginning of our trip, Nancy called the resort and soon we had a new room, the resort manager was calling to check on us and give us gift certificates for couples massages. I would use no one but Nancy for booking a trip in the caribbean, Mexico, etc.

Let me just begin by saying…WOW!
We had the most wonderful amazing wedding! I cannot begin to thank Aimee Moore with myislandgetaways.com enough for all the work and effort she put into every detail of our May 8th 2010 wedding. You have no idea how much Aimee went above & beyond for all of us with booking and got us lots of extras and upgrades. Aimee went over every spot we had looked at and she was so honest about every pro & con of every place we had our eyes on, and she just wasn’t trying to sell us something! The hotel we ended up choosing El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya, Mexico it was perfect for us, and all 30 of our guests who made the trip with us!

All of the pre-arranged details from the transfers to the candle light dinners and honeymoon breakfast were so well organized and made all of us feel so pampered! All of Aimee’s planning made our wedding trip so stress-free. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of! I thought planning our wedding would be so stressful that I would need medication in the end, but it wasn’t and Aimee was right there to answer every one of my crazy questions by phone or email 24/7! She took the time to get to know us and it meant that the wedding of our dreams was everything we were looking for! We wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Right now we happen to be pregnant with our first baby but the minute we feel comfortable leaving the baby with grandparents we are calling up Aimee to book a late honeymoon! I am sure being new parents and not having time for ourselves we can count on Aimee to handle every detail of the honeymoon! We can’t wait!

We never knew Paradise was so close to home. I'm repeating the other reviews, but it's worth repeating! Planning and booking our honeymoon was the easiest part of our wedding thanks to Tom and Nancy. I called them in a panic, on "information overload" from trying to do it myself, and they were so helpful. Their experience with the Caribbean was invaluable, their tips and advice were spot-on, and our trip went incredibly smoothly because of their input. Even down to little things like "bring bug spray", which made us the envy of many of the other guests!

Jamaica was everything we hoped it would be, Couples Swept Away in Negril was absolute paradise, and we can't wait to go back! I wouldn't even think of calling someone else to book our next trip -- it's Tom and Nancy all the way!

My husband and I were referred to Island Getaways travel agent Aimee Moore. She was absolutely amazing. Not only helpful, but very responsive. She always got back to me right away with any questions I had (and I had many). Aimee gave us many options of different resorts to choose from, never pushing just one resort on us. My husband and I were married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at Couples Tower Isle. It was more than we could have imagined. Everything with the wedding turned out perfectly. Latoya the wedding coordinator of the resort made it so simple and easy. I didn't have to worry about anything but showing up. Our relaxing vacation and amazing wedding wouldn't have turned out so great if it wasn't for all the help we had from Aimee. We will definitely use Aimee again for all our travel needs.

I have worked with Nancy from Island Getaways for awhile now and she is AWESOME! The best there is. I have done alot of traveling and worked with alot of agents and none could come close to comparing with Nancy. I will never go anywhere else. I am a very fussy person when it comes to travel and she has never let me down. I have had Nancy book several trips for me and there is never a slip up. All the I's are dotted and the T's are always crossed. When Nancy books a trip for me I always am treated like a VIP. We recently went to Sandals Antigua and we felt like royalty from the minute we got off the plane. We traveled to Sandals Whitehouse where we got engaged and that was awesome too. She has booked trips for me to St. Lucia several times, Jamaica at Couples Negril, Sandals Royal Bahamian etc... I think the neat thing is that when you go to these places the managers and staff all know her and speak very highly of her. It just makes you feel like you have a common bond. Really cool. I heard about Nancy and her team on other wedding boards and felt we should give working with a travel agent another try based on the reviews alone. We were not local to Nancy, so that was my first unfounded concern about working with her – something she proved over time and time again that held no bearing to how she runs the business. Both Tony and I felt that we were working with a long time friend, rather then interacting with a travel agent. We had a not so good experience working with a local travel agent three years ago and vowed that I could do just as much background work as she did to save the money. Well, Nancy and her staff know their stuff and do 200% more work then I could ever do on my own – even from 100’s of miles away! The team at My Island Getaways was always one step ahead of what I was asking. They anticipated my dreams about my honeymoon and helped make them reality – it was seriously that good. Here is what I can remember about the interactions that we had with Nancy Finn and her staff while planning our honeymoon. There is so much to comment on!

To give you some background, Tony and I had no idea where we wanted to go for our honeymoon, as long as it was warm and all inclusive. We both agreed that we wanted to try to find an affordable room, nothing to fancy and a quaint resort with good food and a good staff. Our past travel agent experiences including getting booked at a massive resort, that we had to take a bus to the lobby or the other end of the resort and the food was no better then an old country buffet, bland, nasty, and something we could make better at home! The staff their was not personable at all, in fact we preferred to stick to one of the beach bars because the bartender took care of us and had more to say then “where’s my tip”? The beach was also a disappointment, it was dirty and un-kept.

After hearing about Nancy, I dug around a bit on her website; everything I saw was right in line with what I saw on the bridal reviews – very organized, new pictures from HER vacations and specific resort information and details that you could not find anywhere else. I decided to give Nancy a call, just putting the feelers out there. Nancy and I talked for over an hour the first time just so she could see what Tony and I wanted from our honeymoon. I was open about our concerns with the last vacation we booked through a travel agent and she was not sales pitch-y at all. We talked a lot about the food at the resorts she books through, mostly because if we were going to do this again, I wanted to make sure we were getting good bang for our buck, not some phony resort that was all Americanized.

After we hung up, I guess they researched different resorts for us based on what we wanted because, Nancy called ME to touch base again with specific room/location quotes based on our budget and desired needs from the resort. That was the first thing we were impressed with, Nancy always had our budget in mind, keeping us at the highest level of service for the lowest cost at all times. She knew details about each resort and took pride in being able to give specific examples of when she was staying at the resorts. I loved that she was not too good to stay where we ended up staying. I knew that I was placing a high level of trust in Nancy to interpret our wants and needs from our honeymoon, over time I came to find out, that is why she is stellar at her job – she knew more of what we wanted then we did!

After Tony and I narrowed down the list to three resorts, Nancy looked into specific pricing at three different levels of rooms at each Sandal’s resort (total of 9 pricing options) so we could see where our budget would fit in at each resort. After all of the evaluation, we decided to go with Sandals Dunn’s River because it was our favorite resort on paper, and we could get the best room location/level for our budgeted amount. It was the smallest of the three resorts, but that was what we wanted; we were also able to get a better room level for cheaper because the resort was smaller compared to most. We ended up booking for the mid level room kind of far in advance, knowing I would be less stressed if I had that taken care of.

As you probably already know, many off the beaten path questions come up when you are going to a new location. I asked all of them! Even those that I knew I could find the answer to myself such as: do we need a visa, are our checked luggage bags going to cost $, do they accept American $ at the resort, are we safe bringing our wedding rings, what are the excursions, what time do the excursions close, what days do cruise lines come in, what excursions would you recommend, what excursions might not run if it rains, etc., etc., etc. We had TONS of questions. We had never stayed at a Sandals and knew we were headed straight for luxury when Nancy returned most questions, the same day, with answers like, they take care of that, the airlines already know, Sandals does that for you, I’ll take care of this and let you know, etc.

Nancy was on her A-game – We felt as if we were her only clients and she was really working to make us have the best vacation possible, not a sale. There were also several flight changes throughout the year, all of which she notified us of immediately and communicated what that meant for layovers, transportation, costs of the tickets etc.

Come the week of the wedding, we did not hear anything from Nancy – this was nothing that alarmed me, up until we were getting ready to leave our house for the airport and wondering - was everything ready to go?!?! Once we finally made it to Montego Bay, Jamaica – we knew we were in for a treat. It seemed like we were the only ones headed for a life of luxury – we were very giddy with anticipation. After taking the bus all the way to Sandals Dunn’s River (we were in a coach, but we heard some people had a van or other transportation depending on the size of the group going at that time) we were immediately greeted by the concierge welcoming staff. They explained that our room had been upgraded (courtesy of Nancy’s relationship with the resort), and that our room was all ready to go. This was one of many unexpected surprises from being a part of “Nancy’s Crew”.

They had someone bring us up to our room, all the while telling us about the different places on the resort as we walked around. After getting settled into the room a little bit, we saw a personalized note from Nancy welcoming us and telling us about the staff (manager’s list) on site if we needed anything to call. We actually did need the manager right away; somehow the safe had been locked before we got there. The night manager was not yet there, but they said he would come up at 10:30 when he got in. At 10:01 he knocked and we were both caught off guard – turns out being on time, even early is expected at Sandals. When we ordered room service for delivery between 9 and 9:30, it was not even 9:05 each morning before they brought it in! That was super cool – we are a very timely couple and that was something we will always remember.

From that point on it was pure relaxation. The resort was just as Nancy said – everything was absolutely phenomenal and never left us expecting something more. She did a great job at scoping out which resort would be best for us as a couple, as well as helping us pick our excursions. We knew all about them before we even got there, knew what to bring to wear, what to bring with us off of the resort and what to leave behind. We found that once we did go off of the resort, you could tell the difference between someone who had Nancy as a travel agent (us) and someone who was not well prepared for their outings. We loved being the well prepared tourists! The resort lived up to EVERYTHING Nancy and her team promised. The food was spectacular, the staff was awesome, truly friendly and the environment was safe and secluded.

I can honestly say that if I had not come across so many positive reviews, and subsequently booked with Nancy Finn – our honeymoon would have been way more stressful and less fulfilling. Every need or want that we had from planning, booking, arrival, staying and departure was calm and organized. It was the first time in our lives that we ever been treated like VIP – it was amazing and something we will never forget. We can only dream that our next vacation will be just as relaxing. I cannot think of a better way to travel then as a part of the expert team at My Island Getaways.

I LOVED working with Island Getaways! Aimee was SO helpful in answering my questions and helping us pick our PERFECT HONEYMOON!!! She has first hand knowledge of the resorts that made it super easy to get our questions answered. The price of our honeymoon acutally went down after we booked the trip and we got the lower price. She contacted me with the price change -- it is so refreshing to work with honest vendors. Would refer Island Getaways over and over and over again! 5 + Stars!!

Nancy and her staff were amazing, from booking the honeymoon to letting us know what excursions to go on. We booked a helicopter ride to St. Lucia last minute, day before wedding, and it was no problem at all. We even got upgraded to vip when we arrived and had a nice note from Nancy upon arrival. She was amazing and our honeymoon was everything we expected it to be. I will continue to rave about it for years to come and would definitely recommend her to my friends and anyone who asks about our honeymoon.

We originally worked with Nancy to plan our honeymoon for April 2009. After an absolutely amazing trip, we knew that we could never plan another Caribbean vacation without Nancy's help. We recently went to Jamaica and our trip lived up to our expectations. Nancy made sure that every detail was taken care of to make our trip flawless. Traveling can be stressful enough but working with Nancy gives me the peace of mind to know that as soon as we arrive at the airport, the stress is gone and vacation can begin!! Nancy Finn and her staff at Island Getaways were absolutely phenomenal. They all went above and beyond to make sure that we had exactly what we wanted. Anytime we had a question, they had an answer--and usually that day. If they were not immediately reachable, they responded within a day either via email or phone. I feel like they bent over backwards for us for all of our concerns about traveling for our honeymoon. They worked VERY hard for us and never left us with a feeling of wanting more. It totally showed once we got to our destination and everything was taken care and as they said it would be--perfect! We always felt like we were taken care of, and we never once felt lost, confused, or anything but relaxed and stress-free. I cannot rave enough about Nancy and her crew. They will forever be our travel agents especially for sandy getaways. They truly went above and beyond all our expectations, and my wife and I could not be more pleased and impressed by their service and commitment.

Nancy Finn of Island Getaways was a joy to work with. She was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and asked questions to determine what resort may work best for us. She gave us a couple of choices and the information to make an informed decision. She stayed in contact with us up until our wedding to make sure we had updated flight changes. She even contacted the manager at the all-inclusive resort to let him we were "guests" of her's. Our honeymoon was nothing but memorable.

Nacy was extremely wonderful in making the most special vacation of our lives as fabulous as it possibly could be! She helped us witht the price range we had set, was always available for questions, and when we arrived, it was everything we had hoped. We even had the pleasure of meeting Nacy while we were there. Nancy for the most part was very helpful, we had also heard great things about her so we called her to help us with our travel needs. We booked pretty far in advance ( a little less than a year) so we would not have to worry about not getting in where we wanted, and also so we could pay it off before we left. There would be some times when I would call and leave messages and e-mail her and she would not respond for weeks, which made me nervous. When we actually got in touch with her and were talking on the phone, she acted as if we were her only clients and she was very nice and helpful, she just seems out of touch at times...and also a little scatter brained at points. A few times I had to remind her of things we wanted answers to several times before she would remember to e-mail us or call us back with the answers. I'm sure that is due to her being really busy. But she did not lead us astray on our honeymoon destination and we had an amazing time so we are thankful to her!

Island Getaways LLC is a fantastic vendor to work with. When I first contacted this vendor I had a couple honeymoon locations that I could not decide on. They took the time to tell me what each location had to offer and after asking me questions of what my husband and I were looking for in a honeymoon we came up with a location. After I booked the honeymoon, I had lots of questions and my emails and phone calls were responded to in a timely manner. They never made me me feel like I was asking too many questions or that I was an annoyance, but like I was their only customer. I have nothing but positive things to say about Island Getaways LLC and I would use them again in the future and have recommended them to friends already.

My husband and I used the services of Nancy at Island Getways to plan our 2008 honeymoon and we just recently used her again to plan an early five year anniversary trip. She is great to work with. She was very patient and informative when I was wavering between two different resorts. She also provided us with very competitive rates which helped finalize our decision. We ended up going back to our honeymoon spot at El Dorado Casitas Royale! Everything went so smoothly at the resort. Check-in was a breeze and our room (selected by Nancy) was perfect. We were treated like VIPs when we arrived and that treatment continued throughout our week there. We are already discussing our next trip in December 2013 and we will definitiely use Island Getaways to plan all of our trips to the Carribbean from now on!

Booking our honeymoon through Island GetAways was probably the easiest thing we did in our planning. Because of their history in traveling to the Carribean - they were able to provide us with their own personal experiences for each location/resort. Which helped make our decision easier.

nancy and her husband know their stuff! They researched places for us based on what we wanted. Her website has her own vacation pictures, so you know they are not doctored up for promo purposes. She personally stays at these locations, therefore can tell you firsthand about what you will experience.

We used Nancy to book our anniversary trip last September and it was by far the best trip ever! I researched travel agents for a great deal of time before we decided to go with My Island Getaways and I could not imagine using anyone else! I have heard nothing but amazing things about them and I am always referring clients their way! Nancy & her staff was always easy to get in touch with and they were very prompt in getting back to me with questions/emails/itinerary. They made the planning of our trip and breeze and we will always use her in the future!

It cannot be easy to coordinate with 4 couples on location, flights, price etc but you always pull it off providing us with a beautiful, fun-filled, vacation. I would personally like to thank both you and Tom for going above and beyond when booking our vacations. I love the "real" pictures that you send me prior to my arrival. I always know what to expect once I reach the resort. From Mexico to Jamaica, you have always surpassed our expectations. We look forward to booking with Island Getaways every year. This summer we were able travel to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica and it was beautiful. We celebrated our marriage and Nancy helped in creating beautiful memories for us. I was able to call Nancy and staff with any questions or concerns and they were very efficient. I definitely look forward to working with island getaways over and over again!

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! We are so truly grateful for everything you've done for us on our trip. As you know we got engaged!! And it was the most romantic, beautiful thing I could ever imagine. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the general manager Brian and the guest services manager Karen who were soo grateful to have us. I couldn't believe it when they said we were upgraded to the Romeo and Juliet honeymoon suite w/ butler service, and to top it off, Karen gave us Bertrum who's like the lead man there because he heard of us and wanted to be a part of it. When we got to the suite he first lead us into the bedroom and there were rose petals everywhere!!! in the tub, toilet, you name it with candles all around and a bottle of champagne. When I turned the corner they had spelled out "Ashley will you marry me" In fresh flowers, orchids maybe and then two dove towels w/ a note about love and happiness. Spence had to ask Bertrum for the bag haha bc he wouldn't give it to him. He got down on the knee and proposed and we sipped champagne! The only thing was the butlers stood there the whole time and didn't leave room for much privacy but we were in such shock it was fine. After they left I just bawled my eyes out....my ring is simply gorgeous and everyone at the resort kept asking about us. We never had such better service, the people were truly incredible. And to top it off..we met a Canadian couple who were professional photogrophers and took a engagment photoshoot of us for free! As soon as they send the disk we'll give you pics. I just wanted to say how much we appreciate everything you went throught to make this such a special event for us. Words can't express our gratitude

We love Nancy! We just had a beautiful wedding in Excellence Punta Cana. Nancy was way more than I could've asked for. She was very helpful, always available, sweet, funny, and she made sure that we only had the best during our wedding/ honeymoon trip. She even got my friends a room upgrade! I will definitely continue to use Island Getaways for my future trips to the caribbean. We now have a travel agent for life. We just got back from our honeymoon to the Sandals Royal Bahamian. This trip was amazing, the food and the resort were fantastic. The employees at the resort are the kindest people and really go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great time, we are already talking about when we are going to go back to the Royal Bahamian. We work with Nancy Finn and thank goodness that we did. A few days before we were to leave for our honeymoon to Sandals Ocho Rios in Jamaica, Hurricane Dean was making his way right towards Jamaica. Nancy took action and was able to move our honeymoon to the Bahamas, not only was she able to move our destination she was also able to get us one of the best rooms at the resort...much nicer than what we originally booked and paid for. I honestly have to say that if we hadn't booked through Nancy, I'm not sure we ever would have had a honeymoon...and if we did it most certainly wouldn't have been right after the wedding as originally planned. Nancy is awesome and I can't thank her enough!!!

All I have to say is WOW!!!!!!!! I guess you are never too old to learn something new. I used to book all my trips over the internet because I didn't feel that a travel agent added any value. I was WRONG!! I guess it just meant that I was dealing with the wrong agent. The trip to Sandal's Regency St. Lucia was unbelievable. The concierge level room and separate check in area was stress free. The mention of your name and Island Getaways was an immediate ticket to a service level that I have never experienced before in the Caribbean. The complimentary room upgrade that you negotiated for us was totally unexpected, but very much appreciated. It took me a little while to adjust to the phone calls checking up on us and making sure that everything was too our liking. It didn't cost me a nickel more to book with you, yet I felt like a visiting dignitary because of all the attention that we received. I have never met the general manager of a hotel. On this trip, I met at different times, the three top managers of this Sandals. How do you do this? You are total professionals and your contacts make you a virtual embassy in a foreign land. You have a convert for life.

We knew that we wanted to have a Caribbean honeymoon, and had vaguely heard of St. Lucia, but didn't know where to start. Instead of struggling through the process alone, we randomly chose an internet site to hopefully find somebody more experienced than us....and we couldn't have been luckier. Nancy was an outstanding asset From the very beginning, she answered our many questions, booked the vacation that we wanted, and her personal request for an upgrade to get the "VIP Island Getaways treatment" was successful! (And free for us!) We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nancy after the wonderful experience in St. Lucia and the invaluable assistance she provided to make that experience the honeymoon of our dreams.

I'm so glad you convinced us to go to Excellence Playa Mujeres - everything was absolutely amazing and we couldn't have asked for it to go any better! The grounds, the food, the drinks, the service - everything was great! We were able to try every single restaurant and we had the best servers!! Our rooftop suite was amazing and our trip could not have been more romantic with all of the little extra touches - champagne in the room, rose petals on our dinner tables and bed, bubble bath, everything! Carlos did leave a voice message one day but did not leave a call back number, so we never met up with him, but I did meet up with a couple of girls and I think they all loved it too! It was funny because we actually saw your Sandals Hummer parked at the Holiday Inn when we got back!! We were trying to think of something that went wrong or something that could have gone better, and seriously we couldn't think of anything - and Nick is picky because he works at a hotel! I have already given your name to all my engaged friends and am refering EPM too! Nick and I are already thinking of a first anniversary trip and just know that you have a client for life - you really know your stuff (Nick kept saying that the whole trip!!) and we will call you anytime we can get away (hopefully sooner than later!) I already have my eye out on that new Excellence in Jamaica whenever that is finished!

My husband and I got married at El Dorado Royale on February 2008. With 30 of our closest friends and family in attendance we exchanged vows in a small white chapel facing the beautiful Caribbean Sea. It was amazing day that we and our guest will next forget. Before meeting with Nancy I had done my own research on possible locations for our wedding. But with so many options to choose from it was wonderful having someone as knowledgeable as Nancy working on our side. We told her exactly what we had in mind and she highly recommend El Dorado Royale. Four months before our wedding my husband and I planned a trip to the resort to check everything out. We were not disappointed. The resort, food, staff and everything were amazing! We couldn't wait to bring all our friends and family there because we knew they would love the resort as well.
