Ryan was so great to work with!!! We had him video just our ceremony, and he was able to capture every moment with perfect clarity. He is a professional and knew exactly where to set up in order to get the right view. Ryan truly did an amazing job capturing our wedding. Hiring a videographer was kind of an afterthought and we are truly grateful we hired Ryan. We now have lifelong memories of our big day in a professionally produced video. Through the whole process Ryan always responded to emails promptly and was consistently reliable. Ryan did amazing capturing all of the important moments in the ceremony and the reception as well. He is friendly, kind, and professional. I liked the fact that he was not disturbing. We were not even aware of his presence while he was filming the video. I really liked him when he did my niece's wedding video this summer. I didn't plan to have a video for my wedding, but it was a surprise gift from my family. It made me happy that my family picked Ryan. I would have picked him if I would've planned having a video.

I enjoyed working with Ryan. After meeting him at our rehearsal he was like a friend and fit right in with my wedding party and worked well with our photographers. There are so many amazing moments I either didn't know happened, or forgot about due to the commotion of the big day and I am so incredibly happy we had Ryan to film all those special moments. Ryan is one of the kindest and most on top of it vendors I met through the process of planning my wedding. I was having a hard time finding an affordable wedding videographer that didn't charge and arm and a leg. I am a very picky person and a perfectionist, and I was the bride, bad combo. I was very happy with the video, and when I did want things changed or music taken out, Ryan was more than willing to do it and he responded back almost instantly I felt. I love my video so much and he captured perfect moments of the day. My husband and I are more than satisfied. Being the bride and groom the day is just go go go go, you dont really get time to look around and soak up the happiness and the love of the day, so i'm so glad we got a videophotograhper and that it was Ryan. Ryan was great... very professional. This was our third child to get married in a little over 3 years and all in different locations so Ryan had an uphill battle since we knew what we wanted and expected from the other two. As I am sure most out there know this is the BIGGEST part of the wedding as the day of the wedding can be hectic and hard to take in everything. It is the videophotographer who has to capture and obtain all the events so that after the fact you can sit back and relive and remember everything that seemed to happen so fast. Ryan did an excellent job and was great to work with. I would not hesistate to use Seattle Wedding Videophotographer. They were the best and totally AWESOME.

I loved watching all the dancing and getting to see my friends and family bust their moves! Everyone looks so happy and it's great to get to just relive it all and take it all in.

How did the videographer avoid disrupting the day?
I barely even knew he was there! It was wonderful how he weaved through the crowds and caught fun and intimate moments- all without being in your face. Ryan even offered some comfort to us during a stressful moment and helped smooth out our anxiety.

Yes! We had interviews, we got to tell our story, and every "moment" from the ceremony, toasts, cake cutting, and dancing were all included.

Ryan was AWESOME to work with!! We met Ryan at our best friend's wedding a few months before we were engaged and got his card to hold on to. We connected with him immediately at their wedding and were excited by his infectiously fun and outgoing personality! We finally were engaged ourselves, Ryan had touched base with us a few times to see if it had happened. It was nice to know he wanted to be a part of our wedding as much as we wanted him! Ryan attended our rehearsal to scope the space and meet everyone. On the big day - he showed up a few hours before to get video of the prepping...and stayed through our grand exit as the getaway car pulled away. Ryan always has a smile on his face and an incredibly positive attitude. The turn around was very fast - we recieved our preview DVD within a few days of returning from our honeymoon. I had no idea what to expect as I've never seen anyone's Wedding video before - but it was about 2 hours of wonderfulness!! It even included a nice section of my husband rapping into the camera and me joining half way through as a backup dance. Ryan did some special editing to that section and it ended up being like our own little music video!! Another nice thing he included was putting us in a room privately to tell our story to the camera - it was a very nice addition to the video. Ryan is very affordable, and I can't say enough how FUN he is to work with!

As I know next to nothing about videography, looking for a wedding videographer was a daunting task. Finding Ryan was a huge blessing. He made the entire process pain-free. I selected him as our wedding videographer after meeting with him at a local coffee shop. At our first meeting he was friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable. I came prepared with my list of standard questions, and he patiently and enthusiastically answered each one.

Ryan’s performance at the wedding was five-star. He came on time, was dressed professionally, was friendly with the wedding party, and quickly made people at ease on film. My wife (I love saying that!) and I hired Ryan G. to capture our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier. He blew us away with his attention to detail on all of the shots he got for us. For instance, he found a time to get a stellar panoramic of the pre-ceremony decor + all of the cool little random stuff that we set up for our crazy night. We didn't get editing services with Ryan (we might eventually...he holds your files for awhile.) but he was nice enough to show us some of our videos in his studio and go over what we might need to do for transitions and sound... I'm a computer junkie so I like to learn about muting out low-ends to boost the high-end in software!

I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough! He was the most reasonably priced videographer we interviewed for our January '11 wedding and he was more professional than most. He is dedicated to making the best possible video, just the way you want it and his level of service and follow through are truly impressive. He far exceeded our expectations in every way, was open to the small changes I asked for and the video turned out perfectly. Our wedding video was ready to review when we returned from our honeymoon and the final copy was to us just days after I approved it. We even ordered more copies to give as gifts to the wedding party after we saw how great it was. Ryan also converted a treasured video for me from VCR to DVD and turned it around in just a few days. Choosing Ryan was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning!

My husband and I decided that we wanted a videographer as one of the very last things before the wedding (about 2 months before). Ryan was an excellent choice for our budget. I decided that I wanted to edit the wedding video myself, so hired him just to film the ceremony and reception. The cost was well below that of comparable services. Leading up to the wedding, he was the most responsive vendor we had. When the big day arrived, Ryan skillfully managed to capture every little detail without being a distraction to the party. The only complaint we would have was that sometimes he would get in the way of the photographer, but I feel this may have been our fault for not telling him that the photographer had priority (and some brides feel the opposite).

He was able to transfer the footage onto the hard drive that we gave to him right away - I believe a few days after, but we were on honeymoon so the quick turn-around didn't matter to us. When we finally got around to watching it, I was blown away by the footage! I expected high quality video from his equipment, and for the filming style to be good, but I had no idea that at the price point we paid we would get brilliantly artistic shots, angles, and panning that rival competition at much higher prices (and trust me, I had wanted so badly to splurge a couple grand to get a highly professional team of videographers). I was amazed that he was able to capture every little detail of our wedding that even our photographer had omitted (brides: think favors, decoration, etc). It made me very pleased that even though we weren't paying him to edit the video, he did not disappoint with his artistic filming ways, giving me more than enough to work with in creating my own video. I highly recommend Ryan - he really exceeded our expectations and I guarantee you none of my friends would know the difference between his filming style and that of the videographers who charge the big bucks.

I would like to highly recomend Ryan for videography! He did such an amazing job. He was quick to get back to me with any questions I had and was very helpful. He was a big hit at our weddinng too, all my guests just loved him! He was able to be a croud pleaser and at the same time make a great video! Our video is just perfect! It was actually waiting for us in the mail when we got back from our honeymoon, we were surprised on how quickly he got it to us. Like everyone these days, my newlywed wife and I work hard for our money. To find the best, most cost effective multimedia vendor for our wedding was paramount. We researched and interviewed several vendors; ended up awarding IstariMedia our special day.

My only major mistake was to have an outdoor wedding ceremony in Seattle without a canopy. Darn rain! :( A decision I don't regreat.....hiring Ryan as our wedding videographer. Where do I start? Ryan was the 4th videographer I met with, and in this case the 4th time was the charm. Our meeting was great he helped me have a better understanding and showed me his equipment. Ryan came to my wedding rehearsal to get a feel for the church, the rehearsal was kind of hectic and at one point I was in tears(not because of him) Ryan then said some positive and uplifting words and reassured me my wedding would be perfect.It didn't seem like he was just there to do a job, he actually cared and is passionate about what he does.

When all is said and done, I was so thankful that we budgeted for a videographer. What was even better was that we had the pleasure to work with Ryan from IstariMedia. Ryan was incredibly responsive and friendly right from the start. We had a wonderful experience with IstariMedia! Ryan was reliable and hard working. Our wedding DVD is one of our most valued gifts from our wedding. He took creative, thoughtful shots of the pre-wedding, ceremony and reception. Getting a videographer is always a good idea, but if you go with Ryan at IstariMedia, he will give his best.

From start to finish, Ryan went above and beyond. On the day after our wedding, we chose to fly off the island where our wedding was on a little sea plane. He stayed an additional day on the island and didn't charge us anything extra for his extra time.

As a means of comparison, my husband had a company promotional video produced just a few months before our video from Istari. That video was only 3.5 minutes long and cost $3,000. Ryan's video was over 4.5 hours, cost just shy of $1,000 and was of very comparable video quality and editing.

We HIGHLY recommend Ryan of Istarimedia. Ryan vidoegraphed both our wedding and reception. My husband first learned of Seattle Videography and contacted Ryan. He was immediately impressed by Ryan’s knowledge and enthusiasm. In preparing for the videography, we first reviewed the Seattle Wedding Videography webside, then talked with Ryan as we went through the process of getting a quote. We talked with Ryan a couple of times as we made our way through the questions (and he made it clear we didn’t have to answer all of them, and he helped us understand the reasons behind the questions). We believe that we got the video results we were looking for as a result of his thorough pre-event planning. We then talked with several other couples who had used Ryan for recent weddings – all were very encouraging and enthusiastic about Ryan’s service and their videos.

Ryan’s quote for services was more reasonable than several others we contacted. Ryan came to our church for the rehearsal the day before the ceremony (even though we hadn’t required this), and made some suggestions which resulted in a better product. He worked well with the sound technician from our church (sharing a small space in the balcony), as well as with the photographer for our wedding and reception.

Ryan captured our wedding beautifully and worked to produce a thorough video from our reception. He captured the reception setting and most guests on the video. He stayed close to us and kept us smiling through much of the reception.

Ryan worked closely with us when our review video was lost by the Postal Service, and kept in close contact and quickly sent a replacement. He was amenable to making a few minor changes (ex: fonts and volume of interviews), and was quick to produce the final DVD’s for us. We are very pleased with the end product, and HIGHLY recommend Ryan for your wedding (or other event) video.

Having Ryan as the videographer for my wedding was fantastic! I planned my own wedding by myself in 3 weeks - I feel lucky to quickly find Ryan from IstariMedia. Ryan was not only professional but also impressively passionate about his work at all times. In this day and age, one does not often find passion to be intertwined with one's profession. That is not the case with Ryan. He sure loves his craft. Both my husband and I clicked with Ryan the first time we met him. I had a connection with a friend of a friend for a videographer, but I went online to research what normal prices were, and what what was included for the given price. I'm glad I did. Low and behold I found IstariMedia while browsing randomly online. I put in my information on the easy to use website, including what I wanted (ex. 1-3 songs, only 1 photographer), and was given back an estimate almost immediately. The estimate was EXACTLY what I paid for the finished product, and cheaper than my friend of a friend with more accessories!

Ryan from IstariMedia even came to my rehearsal (but not to our rehearsal dinner :) ) to scope out the ceremony location so he could get a feel for how things would work on the wedding day. I certainly didn't ask him to do this. This is how IstariMedia is: very proactive, quick and attentive, you won't be waiting endless hours to find an answer to your question.

The actual wedding day he was very attentive as well and got plenty of good shots, angles, and of course all the important parts (toast, boquet toss, garter toss, first dances). IstariMedia also spent some time with us during our reception to get what I can only describe as what would look like in a romantic music video. Myself and my groom holding each other, smiling and whispering to each other while music is in the background playing. This didn't take any time away from our reception because it was while our photgrapher was taking pictures!

My only advice to IstariMedia is let them know what you want beforehand so they don't have to ask on your wedding day (which every vendor ended up doing especially my cateror). Also you can't hear the audio during my dad's speech but that is because the mike wasn't on! Not IstariMedia's fault. I was a busy bride, and didn't have enough time to plan my wedding (but everything worked out anyway as it does, don't stress bride to be's!) and didn't communicate very well with IstariMedia, but the finihed DVD (which I got 2 copies of by the way, and 2 samples) were great. IstariMedia wouldn't send me the final copy until I approved of the sample. Overall excellent customer service! Ryan filmed my son's wedding in July and he did a sensational job. I knew nothing about viodeography and he answered every question and gave me many options. He came to the rehersal at the church and spent a lot of time going over every detail. He did a fantastic job on the wedding and everyone is thrilled with the video. He stayed for the entire reception and everybody had fun with him and remarked about how nice he was. I would HIGHLY recommend this vendor. Ryan worked very hard at our daughter's wedding. He came the day before to rehersal to make sure that he set up in the right place. He stayed for the duration of the ceremony and the reception. He totally captured every important moment and those unexpected too! He was professional, personable and a joy to work with. I can't say enough about the video. It was beautiful and it is now something we will treasure the rest of lives. Our daughter and her husband along his parents were delighted with video and are so thankful that we chose Ryan for this very special day. My Husband and I approached Ryan with IstariMedia for our June 2009 wedding Videography. We filled out his online form with questions regarding our needs for the weddings. It had questions that made me think more, such as how many diffusers I would need or questions like what camera angles I would like and so on. I loved this question sheet because it made me evaluate my locations and do some due diligence on the questions asked. It was helpful because one of the Grand Ballrooms I had chosen was a little dim and needed the extra light. This thorough question sheet helped us plan our wedding better and have solid footage from our wedding. I am happy he had us fill it out ahead of time. Afterwards, we received a preliminary quote for our event. Than we met Ryan to discuss the quote and review more of his work. This is when we reviewed the quote and did more investigating as well. REALLY HELPFUL! Ryan was able to educate us on ways to better the video results and it didn't change the cost! To further impress us Ryan is an absolute professional who is super friendly and is a pleasure to have as a part of our special moment. A week before the wedding we met with Ryan a second time. We met at a local Red Robin and I brought a bit of my family with me. Ryan blended right in and we had a blast. This was important for us because we wanted someone who could get along with our family, who at times can even drive us nuts :). We are extremely proud of the work Ryan did and even his follow up with us. He has been a pleasure to work with and all my family and friends are excited to see his final video of our wedding. WE all have reviewed his raw footage and it is AWESOME!!!! Ryan is the best professional Videographer we could have had be a part of our wedding. He worked seamlessly with my Photographer (who also praised him heavily). Ryan will always be the one we choose for any of our video needs in the future.

Our wedding was planned in less than 3 months- and we were hurriedly looking for a videographer to capture our big day. We luckily stumbled upon Ryan of IstariMedia who took the time out to meticulously reply back to our emails in a timely and efficient manner. We were also fortunate enough to correspond not only via email but also over text and phone. Although the time was ticking upon us for the arrival of our wedding- we didn't feel any concern or anxiety with our videographer- he displayed his professionalism and punctuality throughout our correspondence with him. When we requested a sample of his DVD and our schedules conflicted he offered to just express mail the sample and called us for confirmation of delivery.

His website is very straightforward- questions that were brought up through the general survey is pretty standard- providing that you know how long you want footage to be covered, how important music is throughout your DVD, and all the important details that needed to be addressed such as microphone usage, start/end time, etc. The day before the wedding; he arrived at our rehearsal to go over some basics- he pretty much wanted to ensure that he had coverage from every angle at the Church- and whether or not his microphone would be able to function at the venue. All these details were important to Randy *now husband and I because we wanted to make sure that every word was captured in the DVD- (the DVD is going to be sent to his mother overseas)Simply put- his standard operating procedures were on point and he seemed just as excited and happy as we were. On the day of the wedding- he arrived earlier than expected and checked in with our wedding planner- and everywhere we were, he was there with his camera and gear. He never missed a single precious moment and although our wedding ceremony and reception lasted until the wee hours of the night- he still remained calm, professional, and humorous.

Not only was he able to go above and beyond his service role- he exceeded expectations when there were several songs that weren't available in his library and he went out of his way to search for them and add them to our DVD. His exceptional service and go-get attitude shone through every step of the way!

My husband and I moved here from the UK two years ago. We were engaged at the time and decided to get married once we decided that we were going to stay here with his job. We didn't know very many people but some friends at church told us about Istarimedia and we were very pleased with all the help he gave us. He was extremely knowledgeable and so professional with us and at the wedding and it turned out lovely. We could have been shattered from all the details but he alleviated our anxiety with his help. He also did some work for us two months ago in making a DVD presentation for my husband's classic car collector friends and it was very impressive.

We loved working with Ryan. We found him online, called him last minute, and found him to be very professional and fun. Our video is wonderful!! We really loved his prices, too. He goes out of his way to be reasonable, and I think it was a miracle we were able to get such a high quality video at such a reasonable price. He also went out of his way to take into account all the details of the wedding situation, before the day of the wedding! Although I think we found him less than 2 weeks before the wedding, he was able to visit our site twice, suggest lighting, get to know our people, answer our questions, take care of things himself when we just were overwhelmed and didn't know (he was definitely not high maintenence!), create a unique product, not be stingy with the rights (he would have allowed us to put up the video on You tube and even help us with that, had we found the time!), and be a blessing... He was also right on top of producing the video as quickly as possible! We loved the interviews or comments he got onto the video at the reception as well, what a surprise! It really helped us to relive the wedding, which was important, because it went by so fast for us. Thanks Ryan for such a great job!!

I would highly recommend Ryan. We hired him to transfer old footage of our wedding to a DVD format as well as edit the footage, add graphics, transitions, etc. Basically, create a top notch classy wedding video out of home shot amateur footage. This video is my Christmas gift to my wife, hence, it was important that the job was done right and the end result was high quality. Ryan did not disappoint. He was responsive, quick, and most importantly produced a fantastic end product worthy of a gift on Christmas. In addition, he listened to my ideas and my needs and incorporated this into his design, which was great. He clearly understands media and technology and provides great customer service. Most importantly, he understands the human element of his work.

I plan to continue to use him in the future and would recommend anyone else to as well.
